We have used Gasparovich Plumbing for close to twenty years. Can't say enough about this guy.
Dependable and honest as the day is long. He's the go-to guy for Stanford Court Condominiums and counts many residents as his customers. He told me he hasn't had to advertise in over 20 years.

It was nice to have someone answer the phone in the evening and make an appointment for the next morning. Hugh was really nice and helped me understand my problem over the phone. Chad and Kelly replaced my old water heater and caught the issue with the high water pressure in my house. They replaced the old, corroded, pressure regulator to avoid future issues. They were professional and explained everything they did and did a great job. As a new homeowner it's always good to have a pleasant experience and I'll definitely rely on them for future work.

We needed a plumber to connect our new sink to new faucet and garbage disposal. We had gone with a deeper sink, so that caused a few issues, as our piping was a bit high under the sink. Ed knew about this possibility and was able to take care of everything. His price was reasonable, and he called me back each and every time I called him. Unfortunately, customer service is so lacking with so many businesses these days, but this plumber is extremely responsive. Should we have any further plumbing needs, we will call him again!! Highly recommend!!

I called Brett since I had no running water in my house due to a leak. He wasn't available to come out that day due to being fully booked but he gave me advice on how to temporally resolve my issue. He even gave out his personal cell and said to send him photos of anything that I'm stuck on and he would walk me through it. That's unheard of since most people want paid for their time! I will be using Brett's Plumbing in the future!

I had a weird water problem happening in my laundry room/basement. Water was pouring out of the hole where my waterline goes. I had no idea what was happening. Ron Miller was recommended to me through HomeServe. He came out to see what the problem was, and immediately knew that it was my sewage pipe. Once everything was authorized by home serve which was for the very next day he put in as a emergent repair. He showed up at 8:30 AM, even took my plants out for me so that I could hopefully save them because they were where he had to dig. He let me know what was happening every step of the way. He is very knowledgeable in what he does, he is very kind. When he was finished with the repair, every thing was put back the way it was. You almost didn't even know that he was there! If I ever need a plumber, I will call him in a heartbeat.

I've owned a variety of homes over the years from new to over 100 years old and have a ton of experience working with contractors and companies to fix issues. I cannot say enough about every touchpoint at Jim Meyers. This is the most professional, courteous, and efficient company I have had the pleasure of doing business with. We recently bought a 3800 sq foot home that had an extensive list of plumbing repairs revealed on our inspection report as a buyer. We were referred to Jim Meyers by our Realtor and are beyond happy. Ben was our plumber and had to tackle some very complex issues (such as relocating a vent from a laundry that was incorrectly blowing into the garage to a sewer stack pipe venting into the attic -just to name a few). His amazing skills made this very initially stressful endeavor a breeze. We now have a safe home and things actually work! I have been referring them left and right and will be using them as our main plumber from now on. We also were so happy with going into the showroom to pick out some new faucets -the woman who helped us was very kind and knowledgeable and worked with us to find just the right fit. Calls are always returned quickly and they are eager to help at all times too.

Bob lead an amazing renovation of our home in Coraopolis and we couldn't be happier with the quality of his work, and also his commitment to making sure we were happy and comfortable in our new home. I am so thankful that he was there to lead this project and we are beyond excited to start our new life in this home. D

I have hired Petrack Plumbing several times. Here are summaries:
Appointment #1: The plumbers removed an old utility sink and installed a new utility sink in my laundry room, removed a 1970s-style wet bar in my living room and capped its pipes, and snaked a gutter pipe outside. Afterward, my new sink and pipes worked great.
Appointment #2: The plumber used a camera to determine why my gutter drain pipes were not draining properly. He determined that a dry well/pit in my yard was full and needed to be replaced.
Appointment #3: A different company had installed a new washer and dryer in my laundry room, and they caused a gas leak and did not level the washer and dryer. Petrack Plumbing arrived at my house in less than one hour. The plumbers reassembled my gas pipe, and they leveled my washer and dryer. Then they charged me $0!
Appointment #4: Petrack Plumbing flushed the pipes from my gutter downspouts to my dry well/pit (*different* downspouts, pipes, and dry well than months earlier). They said that my gutters and downspouts are probably clogged and that my dry well might be full as well, but my dry well does not need to be replaced because it can overflow down the hillside.
Then Petrack Plumbing replaced a leaking copper pipe in my basement. The pipe had a pinhole, so the plumber replaced that section of pipe with new copper pipe. They said that the other copper pipes in my house are the thicker-wall Type L pipe, so they should last for more decades.
Appointment #5: My hot water heater and expansion tank were about a decade old and probably nearing the end of their lifespan, so I hired Petrack Plumbing to install a new water heater and expansion tank. Two plumbers arrived 1.5 hours early, but they did call in advance for our consent. They spent 2.5 hours doing the installation. At the end, they explained to my husband and me what the different parts do. The plumbers had noticed that the old expansion tank and pipes were connected to the hot water rather than the cold water, so they installed the new tank and pipes in the correct location. This extra work cost a little extra money, but the final price was still a couple hundred dollars less than another company's estimate.

We had Fady come by to make some repairs and we were so impressed by his professionalism, respect, and work. He showed up with a mask covering his face and booties in his shoes before I even answered the door. What a really nice man, too. Highly recommend, all around great experience.

Feeling flushed!!!
Edit. They did come and tried to replace my toilet base with a new one and using my existing tank. It was obvious it wasn't working after the owners son Adam had to keep playing with it and adjusting something in the tank and flushing at least 40 times. After he left I dropped tissue into the toilet and flushed. On two of three occasions there was little water exchange and the tissue remained in the bowl. I had to have him come back. This time with his tail between his legs he came strolling up to the door with the tank that went with the new base. The old one wasn't compatible. Did they think we wouldn't notice our commode was not working properly? If I could give them a negative five give stars I would. And now the legal department from American Standard is involved because they are making slanderous and fraudulent claims that they were at fault. They had nothing to do with this. The neglect of the tech who put the snake in the toilet is. I could never recommend these cheapskates to anyone.
In October I paid $460 for Frew Plumbing to unclog a drain. I thought it was high but paid without complaint. Noticed afterward my toilet had three cracks inside where it narrows at the bottom as I scubbed to remove the scratches. After repeated calls the owner came and agreed it was cracked and it would be replaced. We'd even agree it would cost us about $85 to upgrade to a taller one. Calls again went unreturned after I let them know my ceramic floor tile is cracked just next to the toilet also as I hadn't seen it before. Fast forward a month... I just got a letter in the mail from them telling me to contact the manufacturer of the toilet. Defective? Wasn't till a Frew plumber was here. Denying the snake in the toilet? I have a witness!! Seriously??? An employee-only with the company a few weeks-attempted a quick fix by putting a snake down the toilet. When that didn't work he left and came back with a longer one. At that time he removed the toilet and was able to remove the clog that was at the elbow in the basement two floors below immediately. I'll be off to the magistrate first thing tomorrow but wanted to give everyone a heads up. I dont think they realized I am a bitch and I will not let this go. Picked the wrong lady!!

STEAR CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!
My air conditioning failed during the Aug. heat wave and I called Kennihan because they promised weekend service calls for which they charge $189. I knew that up front. The technician came out and replaced a capacitor for which he charged $287, bringing the cost of the service call to $456! I was aghast! He told me I needed a new AC system and he wasn't sure how long the fix might last, but . I was aghast at the price but he said if I purchased a new system through them, they would deduct the price of this service call. Kennihan's estimate was $5134 for a new system. The system stopped working 20 minutes later and got 2 other estimates, both for comparable units and both $1500 less than Kennihan had quoted. I had a new system installed by Restano For $3640. Later I called Kennihan and asked if I could return the essentially unused capacitor and get at least a partial refund of the $267 since it had been used for less than 1/2 hour. They refused. Then I looked online for the price of the capacitor thinking I could sell it and recoup some of my money and learned it cost only $6.95! Kennihan had charged me 38 times the cost of the part! Greedy and unscrupulous!

Our home was built in 2012. They did the plumbing for the house including the Radon pipe. In March of last year we had the radon fan put in as a precaution for when we finish the basement. Yesterday I noticed water coming from the insulation behind the radon pipe. The issue wasn't there before, however, condensation won't form inside the pipes until that fan was installed. All the water seems to be coming from the pipe joints which would mean they were never properly glued. I asked them to come out and check because of what I saw and to do it at no cost due to the fact, that assuming I'm correct about the joints, it's shoddy work that caused the issue. I was told they charge $125 an hour, and, even if I'm right and the joints weren't properly glued that it's out of warranty anyway.
So to recap, if something is their fault - they charge you for it anyway. I wasn't even offered them coming out to check and if they see I'm right a fix at no charge, but if I'm wrong I'm charged. That I would've understood. Instead it was even if it was our fault it's out of warranty anyway. They clearly don't stand by their work so I'll be having another plumber I can trust come and check it out.
Despite what my profile on here states, I don't live in CA - I live in PA.

CAUTION: This company claims to have exited their heating business!!!!!! Don't use or you will be left in the cold!
Very disappointing experience after having dealt with Fagnelli Plumbing for 7 or 8 years now. They installed a furnace for me 5 years ago, but I keep having the exact same issue with it -- a furnace is supposed to last 30 years! After numerous repair attempts, I was told there is no permanent fix; they were literally at my house every 2 or 3 months during heating season, charging me $90 to come out every time.
When my heat went out again this weekend, I was informed that they no longer service their HVAC customers!!! Imagine my surprise and anger at such terrible customer service, once again letting a loyal customer down without heat!

I am a landlord with several units and our current plumber ( who we love!) is retiring and we were trying to locate another plumber as our go to company when we had issues. Well we has a second floor toilet leaking into our first floor unit and it was an urgent situation. Our initial call was made early in the morning and our situation was explained. We were told that we would get a call back. We were not called back by the end of the day and a call was made after hours as my husband was going to tackle the problem if we could not get a set time for Bauer to come out. After hearing this, we were told that we would be their first appointment (8:30am) the next day. So I advised my tenants and since they were working, I had to be there to wait for the plumber. At 9:00 they still were not there so I called the office...again being told that someone would call back. Long story short- they called after noon and ended up getting there shortly thereafter.
So the guy was working no longer than an hour and we were told that the wax ring was broken..that he tested with dye to be sure that it was not leaking anymore and that it was fixed. The bill was $187.40 which I thought was high but at least the leak was fixed.
So I thought! The next morning our tenant called to say that the ceiling was once again leaking and was worse than before the plumber did his repair.
We called the plumber directly leaving a voice mail and we called Bauer's office. Our calls were not returned until a second call was placed and we got a return call at 2:00 pm. The owner George assured us that he would be there tomorrow at 8:30 am...to be continued.
UPDATE- The plumber did show up at 8:30 sharp and re-set the toilet being sure to show me every step. They also did not charge me for the second trip so both of those items will raise my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. I still am not sure if I would use again due to the terrible communication. As the old adage states, you only get one chance to make a good first impression

Will not respond after having issues with their work
They installed a new boiler in our house the past spring. Have been having issues with it since late January. It will shut off and gives an error message. Email Mike P of their company and he will not respond, bee over a week. Also because things were not done right a radiator in my basement cracked and water started to gush out. Luckily I found the shut off valves to the radiator so it could be shut off. I understand issues arise, but the unwillingness of these people to address these issues are why they get the 1 star rating. If you use them don't ever expect they will get back to you in a timely manner if you need something.
