Home Depot gave them as a professional referral.  They were prompt in getting back with me, we scheduled an appointment to view it and get me an estimate.  They got hung up and needed to reschedule, no problem, stuff happens.  The following day they were supposed to come, I called after they were 45 minutes outside of the scheduled window.  Ooops, they skipped me and went to the next person.  They did offer to reschedule again, I declined and will look for someone else.

S&S Mechanical installed our Furnace and Air conditioner. It was the middle of winter when Furnace needed replacement. Service  tech replaced Furnace within 1 day and we were very please so we had new Air conditioner replaced as well. S&S Mechanical is very reliable and we recommend them highly.​​

We have a high output gas water heater that heats our floors as well. I didn't understand the system very well. I called a good friend of mine that is an extremely popular plumber in Carson City. He referred me to Red Bear Mechanical. I had Michael come out to explain how the system works. Boy, I'm glad I did. The water heater started having issues a few months later. Michael diagnosed the intermittent problem and swapped the likely components. Problem solved... for a while. Michael returned several times to fix the problem. When summer arrived, it wasn't working very consistently. Michael decided to disassemble the PVC plumbing for the air intake and exhaust. He found a hidden air filter in the corner behind the water heater that was very plugged up. It was not visible the way the system was installed and it was never mentioned when on the phone with tech support. Had he not taken it apart, problems would have continued. Now I know the filter needs to be cleaned or replaced every couple years.
Throughout this process, Michael was friendly and the costs were very fair. I will recommend Red Bear Mechanical without any hesitation.

Blake Marshall (owner) showed up ONTIME to inspect a faulty circulation pump. The thing works, but made humming noises.
Blake informed me I had one of the quietest models on the market and replacing the unit (for no reason) would be pretty pricy.
No charge for the consultation, but I am a customer for life now!  Fantastic customer service.

Man oh man do I love this company, I am a property manager and constantly have to deal with plumbing issues regarding rentals. Rooter Rite is there every time to help solve our problem, big or small. Amazingly professional heating and air conditioning installers and service people!!  I knew them as Ray Heating (here in the Reno, NV area for decades!)...now morphed into RHP...same stellar group.  I decided to replace the 30 year old original equipment furnace to increase efficiency and to just get ahead of any failure of this original builders grade furnace. Costco had entered into a 'deal with Lennox and RHP...being a Costco member who values their choices this was a no brainer for me. The salesman, Troy Wilcox, wanted to have a few furnaces for me to choose from but the interior closet arrangement of my home limited the Lennox furnace choice to their most efficient top of the line model, SLP98DFV.  My 30 year old starter home did not warrant such a beauty but since I plan on living here until I go out in a box the slightly higher cost seemed inconsequential to me.  The installation was incredibly simple...the workers were friendly, professional and wonderfully clean, leaving nothing but a delightful new furnace in their wake.  This was April 2011, the tail end of our heating season.  All went well.  Two months after the beginning of our new heating season the furnace was failing in some very odd ways. RHP was out in no time and these were not just parts replacers...their repair people are diagnostic experts giving me their full attention.  The commercial installers who came to conduct the repair were, again, friendly, professional and pursued the repair to a happy conclusion leaving me with nothing but respect and gratitude for them.  We were never without heat during the event, though chilled initially.  I love the quiet soft heat of this furnace...since it is mounted in an internal closet near the bedrooms this made a huge difference in our winter sleeping.  The filter we have on this unit would do a hospital proud.  I want to thank the repair folks we saw and give them all a huge round of applause.  I am recommending RHP to everyone who mentions heating or air conditioning needs...and those talking about remodeling, too.  HOORAY for RHP!!

I have an outdoor landscape water issue.  To date,  I've had several remediation employees,  plumbers and others on the job.  Your employee, Nicki, was exceptional.  She immediately started finding leaks that no one else could discover.  She was professional and very knowledgeable. I was very impressed.  Thank you.

Run from this company. We waited over 6 hours for them to show up and they never did. They lied the whole time saying someone was on their way when they never were. On top Of that it was nearly impossible to get them
To respond and when they did it was a lie. They will
Be responsive when scheduling but never when thy need to show up. Total waste of our time and worst customer service

Just Plumbing did excellent work on installing our new toilets and dishwasher. We had new floors installed and needed a plumber to put in our new toilets. During the floor install we discovered the dishwasher was leaking. Justin added this to his workday to keep us on schedule.  Worked well with the floor installers and we were never without a bathroom.

Justin was on time and kept in touch. He returned phone calls and made sure everything was perfect.

Really appreciated his work ethic.

Ken lives down the street from me on Sandy way and has helped me twice with the water temperature in the shower and a possible leak which was due to the snow shifting and turning my outdoor spicket on.

What equals a good rating for a plumber? On time, clean gets the job done. I'll give Benjamin Franklin Plumbing a great rating for going the extra mile.
I had a heater with a slow gas leak preventing the power and gas from being turned on in my new building.
I needed it done by the end of the day and it was 2 pm when I called. They arrived quickly, replaced the leaky valve along with all the pipes leading to the leak. He even waited until the power company returned to get the power turned on. Great service, reasonable price and wonderful people on the phone and the service tech.

This is my opinion, based on interaction with the estimator. Bate and switch, bait and switch and price creep. Avoid, unless you want to waste money.
