Best Plumbing Services in Minnesota
Called these guys in to do some work on my water heater. They were right on time, and the work was done quickly and accurately. I couldn't have been happier and will call them next time I have any kind of plumbing issue big or small.

Nate at Duda Plumbing helped us with a new water heater. Clean and fast at a fair price. He is scheduled back to plumb a new full bath addition.

We had been in our new home roughly 24 hours when raw sewage began pouring into our basement from the floor drain, the shower drain, anywhere it could get into the basement. I was about to call one of the big names when I saw a great review of this local company. I called in the early morning and Nate pulled up before 2pm. He was a rock star. He dropped the camera probe in, found the obstruction, augered it out, and inspected the pipe's entire length for future problems as he went, talking me through his findings. He then cleared out my decomposed drain cover and cleaned up everything he touched, as well as some of the mess that was already there. Great service, great advice, easy going, and the cost was less than I've paid in the past for other companies (by a good margin). I've already made a calendar entry in my phone to call McDonough's every two years for preventative maintenance on the pipe. We can go back to loving our new house again!

Dave is a life saver! 3 days before Christmas and our water heater died on us. The next day he was able (and willing) to get and install a new water heater, on a day he planned on taking off, since it didn't get above 0 and we had strong winds. Second time working with him and I will never look for another plumber again!

I had a positive experience with this plumber. I contacted Rascher on a Monday about replacing the garbage disposal in my condo. I searched local Facebook groups for plumber recommendations and saw their name pop up several times. They originally made an appointment for that Friday, but called me back on Tuesday with an earlier opening, which I really appreciated, so I ended up having a new garbage disposal by Wednesday! The plumber I worked with was Ed, and he was very adaptable to the quirks of the tiny 100yr old condo I live in. It took about 2.5 hours. Ultimately the garbage disposal plus installation cost $875. (The Google estimates I was reading said garbage disposals are usually between 200-900.) They seem like a reliable operation.

We recently had Burnomatic inspect and tune-up our boiler and we could not have asked for better service. We are relatively new owners of a very old home with a complicated heating system that has been modified multiple times over the years. It was a relief to have the courteous, friendly, and very experienced technician from Burnomatic diagnose all of the quirks in our system. This family-owned company provides a level of terrific service, expertise, and value that is increasingly hard to find these days. We are so glad we found them!

Can't count on them. No shows. Called for bids and they never returned calls. Didn't show for a service call. Sketchy looking employees?

They charge more than most attorneys. 600.00 dollars for 30 minutes. Joke. Coupons ya right. They just raise there quote to cover the coupon.

Our water heater sprang a slow leak and I called (late on a Friday) Benjamin Franklin Plumbing because we had used them MANY years ago - the first day we moved into our current home. Julie, who answered the phone, was VERY helpful and scheduled a plumber for Saturday. There was no set timeframe but they assured me they would call before arriving - which they did - both by text and by phone. This permitted me to continue on with my Saturday errands, knowing I had plenty of time to arrive home before the plumber did. I totally appreciated that transparency in scheduling. Dylan was our plumber who knew exactly what to do. He was professional, pleasant to deal with, and efficient. He wasted NO time and installed our new heater within about 3 hours. He had an incredibly tight space in which to work and did an excellent job. He was also very respectful of our home, which Is a biggie for me! All things considered, including having work done on a weekend, I didn't think the price was too bad. We were up and running with water and hot water in no time. I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin for your plumbing needs. They are reliable and won't disappoint.

I was in desperate need of a plumber and I checked around, called a few places, deciding on Aqua City Plumbing. They were kind and very helpful on the phone so we made an appointment for the same day. They called before they got here and they were on time. Brandon was my plumber. He was so quick and thorough, he was done in a jiffy! Kudos to Brandon and Aqua City Plumbing. I can't thank you enough! Plus the price was unbelievably reasonable. I will use them again! Thank you, Sue Minneapolis, Mn

I seriously wonder if the negative reviewers are talking about the same service. Eric was prompt, pleasant, SUPER respectful and responsible about COVID compliance (wore a mask, stayed 6 ft apart, washed hands etc), explained all the issues well, and in the course of our discussion about my home's many plumbing problems (observable with my own eyes), he recommended a few things regarding a kitchen renovation I was planning that saved me $$$. He also showed me how to do some basic maintenance so I wouldn't have to call him for a minor recurring issue. I was so pleased with his work on a bunch of annoying small repair jobs, that I have brought him back for multiple larger plumbing jobs.
My house had BAD plumbing when I bought it -- like multiple elements only held together with tape. Shortly after I moved in, I discovered one toilet mechanism was held together with duct tape. Later, when I got a new dishwasher, I discovered my dishwasher drain hose was held to the main drain stack with electrical tape and it had been causing a slow leak under my floating floor (if I hadn't upgraded my dishwasher it could have been years before I discovered this since it was hidden). I actually ended up paying for a second home inspection after finding this many instances of tape used for plumbing after I moved in, because they were not noted in my original home inspection (I'm going to do a brief side plug for StructureTech the best home inspectors who found all kinds of things I wish I'd known when I bought, I will never use another home inspector again in this state). It's pretty depressing to buy a new house and discover someone did a shockingly shoddy job with the plumbing. I fully trust Eric to steer me in the right direction and to talk me through my options - pros/cons/cost. At this point, over the year, he's fixed multiple issues such as small leaks and running toilets (I can repair a basic running toilet but these were more complicated), installed a new water heater, installed a new sink faucet and garbage disposal, hooked up my new refrigerator's water line. My sewer line backed up and when he was unable to come to the emergency, he recommended another company who could do the job for a reasonable price quickly. I have never felt 'upsold' or like he was unwilling to do a smaller job either (which I can't say about other repairs on my house).
Because so much work had to be done on this house, I got estimates on a few things from other plumbers, and I felt Eric was usually cheaper or on par with the other services while being more pleasant/respectful and providing better service. I had one service be pretty rude to me as woman, quote me an outrageous sum, and indicate they would nickel and dime every little thing. No thanks!
I also want to say having someone who takes COVID prevention seriously is a big stress reliever. Eric always worse a K95 high filtration mask, didn't touch his mask, didn't take it off, didn't have to be nagged about things, unlike some people I've had show up at my house without even bringing a mask.
Highly recommend.

Like most plumbing requests, we had an emergency where we needed someone ASAP. We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel and in the middle of the night we had a pipe bust which flooded the basement. We quickly turned the water off and called around for help. After calling the Big Guys and being told we couldn't be seen for a day, we decided to call someone local. Edwards Plumbing immediately assured us someone could get out there right away and came out faster than the Big Guys could even call us back.
The plumber was awesome, did great work and was VERY fair in pricing. So much so that my wife called our contractor to tell him if there's anymore plumbing we want to go through this team over the ones the contractor already uses. Thank you for your quick response. You saved us big time!

I was informed by the owner of Lake Areas Home Improvement Services, Inc - Scott Ferrell - that the work was performed by a subcontractor, and that he is not responsible for follow up on any of the work.
Previous comments:
They started the job late after bringing the wrong materials twice), and installed the siding poorly as well as damaged two gutters during the installation of two larger downspouts.
Rainwater now leaks out of my gutter next to my house, where the repair guy had used a cutting tool to enlarge the opening for the larger downspout. He damaged a 16 foot piece of gutter that never leaked previously. The sidewall of the gutter was cut open, allowing water to run down the side of my house. See pictures.
Upon inspection of another downspout they installed, they omitted installation of a gutter outlet - see pictures. Rainwater leaks from the crack and icicle will form there in the winter.
Very disappointed that I paid them $2245 for this service. For this price you would expect quality work, a business that would warranty their work, and a contractor to not create damage while making repairs.
If you look to hire this company, check carefully on exactly who will perform the work. If a subcontractor will do the work, check their professional credentials - licensing, insurance, bonding, warranty of work, as well as any outstanding complaints against them with the BBB, Angie's list, and Yelp among many. Get it all in writing before you sign, and make sure you have the crew that YOU hire.

We had them as our only plumber for 15+ years. They used to be great. Until we need an emergency job done on our septic. Not only did they go well over the estimate, but when we'd paid in full the amount agreed upon, and asked for another month to pay the additional $2500. (We had already paid $13,000, 40% due up front) We had to be consistently diligent about getting them out to get the job done before the ground froze. We were not the least bit happy with the mess they left us in, after over charging to begin with.
