We wanted to remodel our condo eventually & came across Lin Construction. Mr Lin and Megan ( manager) came out to greet us and they were very attentive especially Megan who know I am pressing for times this time around. She asked me what my preferences were and suggested to look at cabinets/ flooring at couple of different places. She took her times to meet us there and trying to find the style I am after. At the end we went to a custom cabinet place to see if my vision can become a reality and now I am waiting for a quote to see how much it will cost. Since I am not in a hurry and have learned a lot from the people on the island is to make sure all the supplies are there before work will start and that including all the appliances. Will update this post once I reach out to Megan again most likely in January before we can really starting to seriously redoing our condo since our daughter and family  there for her schooling and she won't be done until June of next year

I can't say enough good things about Stan. He is honest, hard working, and personable. We have known him for over 20 years and appreciate all the plumbing work he has done for us over the years. Our older home has had its fair share of plumbing issues and Stan always offers straightforward, reasonable, cost effective advice. Ellena is also extremely helpful and has magically manipulated the schedule any time we have an emergency. She is always professional and kind. If you're looking for an honest plumber who does excellent work, Stan is the best.

Emerson's integrity and professionalism exceeded my expectations. I am beyond grateful at how accommodating he was for us. It was a last minute job and he arrived the same day that we discussed the issue with our shut off valve in our home, and he did an awesome job. The pride he has behind his work shows, and he is more than fair with his pricing. I am definitely keeping in touch if we need help with anything else!

I would highly recommend Frank and his services to both my family and friends for any job around the house or office. He is knowledgeable, on time, and professional. He even offered suggestions on other ways to fix the problem which actually ended up saving me time and money.  You can definitely see that he has experience. I would suggest quit putting it off, and let Frank do it.

He helps do regular maintenance on our Hurricane and has helped with troubleshooting and repair work on our family and friends' boats. Would highly recommend.

We have an old solar water heater that is huge ( more than 80 gallon tank) that needed to be replaced. However, this heater is located in a very difficult location, down 37 steps of stairs, in a small room below our house. I called four companies for a quote. One didn't even call back as promised, the other wanted to charge $75 just to show up for an estimate and the third company showed up, took a look at the location of the heater and said that he would call me back with the estimate but that never happened. Finally, I called Commercial Plumbing and boy, did we luck out.

These guys are SO professional. Henry came to assess the situation, went back and emailed me a quote promptly. My husband and I decided to go ahead and we were scheduled in a week or so. The 3 man-team showed up and did an incredible job! They didn't waste any time, carried the 250 lb. tank up the stairs, replaced the old tank and did an awesome job! They were very efficient and tidy too.  Wow! We were totally impressed and happy with the work done. We would highly recommend these guys to anyone.  Super job guys! Thank you.

A toilet in my apartment had some issues. Tim scheduled an appointment that day. He was quick and helpful with suggestions we needed to do to avoid this problem in the future. Will use again.

He was suppose to fix the clogging and leaking problem.  I had just flown in and was tired.  When he said everything was fixed I believed him without checking.  Also told me 6 months warranty if problem comes back. He said he would come back to fix the issue but never did. Lesson learned.

If you ever need a rescue for a plumbing issue you must call Moe.  Such dedication, honesty, humble, so knowledgeable, professional, and courteous, really knows his craft!  I was having a stressful, problematic issue with a broken shower drain.  I had called other plumbers to come to check out my drain, some said they would come; some did not even call back. I told my good friend about my drain and he referred me to Moe from Rooter Rescue & Plumbing Repair.  Moe called me yesterday (Friday 12/23/16) took a look at the situation with my shower drain. He told me what can be done to correct my request and told me what to buy at the home improvement store.  I knew that today Christmas Eve, there was no way that anyone would come a do work for a customer, but he called, asked me if I got the items he told me to buy. After telling him I got the items, he came today on Christmas Eve (I did tell him that he should be spending time with his family and not working on plumbing problems, but he insisted that during this holiday people should be helping people) and got by drain fixed and back in order after a few hours WITHOUT charging me holiday price.   Wow that is very impressive customer service!! Moe really placed himself in the homeowner's shoes, knowing how stressful the situation was.

Had a clog and couldn't resolve it on my own so gave into my wife's request of a professional. Called the national brand and they weren't very friendly so pivoted to a locally owned and licensed company. Call all aloha plumbing and they were upfront about the estimate fee and that it would be applied to the services if I chose to use them. I called around and my boss(wife) chose to move forward with them. They were prompt and friendly. Very understanding to our situation and professional. We were greatful for the fast and complete job they did. Was worth every penny!  Would recommend and use again.

Hired this company to plumb a rental structure for me. Charged me over 10k for what i felt was at most a 5k job, but due to availability we decided to hire them. During the time the work was being done, the owner, Mr Yamada, was on site but did not appear to do much actual work. I literally caught him fast asleep in the fetal position during the day underneath our house while his assistant was working inside. Plumbing work was mediocre and a couple pipes were not even glued together at the end of the job (when i turned on the water, it shot all over the bathroom). I pointed this out and he came back and fixed them correctly. Had an excuse for every error, Of course he billed for two men the entire  time. He also claimed the plumbing inspector showed up and inspected the structure but we never saw any proof of this....additionally we had a separate leak and he gave us a quote which was 4x the price of the competetors (btw we hired kamahele plumbing who was excellent fast, professional, and a good price!). overall, his workers are great people but he is lazy and overpriced.

I've hired HNL Plumbing for about $30,000 of water line and drain line work on a house built in the 50s.  Sidney is great but the owner or boss is not.  Their hourly rate is $120-130/hr which I think is high but then once you get the bill, they probably added a whole lot more hours to the actual work.  They added 14 hours more hours, $1,680 to my bill.  They will bill you for time they aren't at the job site and for their lunches.  I told them how long I saw them at the job site since they left before 3pm everyday and the owner said no.  I think they definitely over billed me for their time.  Now they won't bid or work for me anymore since I can count their hours too.  Shady business practices trying to steal your money.

If you are in a semi emergency and can't wait, then this company is for you, however be aware that that semi emergency is going to cost you a weeks pay. We had a kitchen drain clogged and we tried everything to unclog it with no results. We caved and called Roto Rooter. Professional service, friendly technician, did the job in 45 minutes. No complaints there. HOWEVER, $375 was the charge. The technician arrives and quotes the price, then it's up to you to say yes or go home. If your in dire need then your stuck like us..I think next time if it happens we'll wait for a plumber and wash the dishes in the tub. The decision is, is $375 the
price to pay for getting back to normal? A decision you have to make for yourself.
