Best Plumbing Services in Tampa, FL
Little did I know when I met Matt at the dog park did I understand I found a great plumber and even better human being.
Matt came in my hour of need and unclogged a severely stopped up drain in my kitchen.
He and his partner were prompt efficient and got the job done.
They cleaned the area and left it better than they found it.
Now my kitchen is back in business and have them to thank.
Thank you Matt I will be spreading the word of your great service and fair prices.

Roy and his people are stellar. They are professional, courteous, and best of all they do a great job. Their prices are fair and they are always willing to break down what they do into layman's terms. I recommend them for commercial or residential needs.

They were upfront about costs. That's the kind of plumber service that people appreciate. Outstanding customer service and quick response to time, John and Paul Jr. were efficient, thorough and polite. Will definitely use them again.

Had McGill Plumbing come out at the end of Dec. 2017. They put in a new Nuvo home water system and replaced some faucets, with a bill at just under $3,000.00. We were satisfied with the work and continued to purchase the water filters from them (at a price of approx. $100.00 each), and had them do other work. As we remain in our apartment only 3-4 months of the year, we only needed to change the filter once a year, per their instruction. Upon our first replacement filter, we were advised McGill's no longer sold the Nuvo system they installed and any contact with the Nuvo company we needed to make, should be done by ourselves. My husband replaced the filter, which they still sold. In 2019 and 2020, we went to them again and replaced the filter for the second and third time. Upon returning in Jan. of 2021, we purchased another (the 4th) filter from them. Upon getting ready to replace the filter, the entire unit and all of the plumbing they had installed, had come loose from the drywall. They had merely anchored the entire unit, plumbing, etc. into the drywall with two screws placed into the drywall and through the 2018, 2019 and 2020 years, it had become loose and was merely hanging by the plastic plumbing pipes they had installed. If, due to the weight of the unit, the pipes had cracked or leaked, it would flood the apartments below us.
My husband called them in January of 2021, and spoke with the manager Brett. It was explained we needed to have the unit reattached to the wall with a system that would not rely solely on a screw placed into some drywall, which after some limited use, became loose and ultimately, no longer held the unit to the wall. My husband suggested merely having a board attached to the wall, and the screws holding the heavy water system attached to the board. It would be minimally expensive and could be accomplished in probably a half an hour and ensure the system did not break the pipes and flood the unit and units below ours.
Brett, the manager, advised my husband they would not stand behind the corrected installation because it had been done 3 years earlier. We agreed it had been installed 3 years earlier, but the attachment to the wall had created a major problem and could be easily fixed, and since we had spent almost 3 thousand dollars with McGill's on this single visit (albeit, with add'l faucets purchased and installed), that we would think they would want to come out and correct the faulty installation. Brett stated he would not stand behind the installation in any manner as it was done 3 years earlier. When asked to speak with the owner, Brett indicated he made all the decisions and there would be no purpose to speak with the owner.
My husband let him know the initial installation had not been done correctly, and that was what needed correction. We had also previously suggested other people contact McGill's because we had previously used them and had been satisfied. Brett made it very clear, they would not attempt to correct the faulty installation. This is the first time I have EVER, in my lifetime, provided a negative evaluation of work done at a residence of mine, but I was very disappointed in the response, or lack thereof, that they wouldn't stand behind a sloppy installation and attach it correctly to the wall. Previously, all my interactions with them were fine, but this is poor management and gets a very low grade to ensure customer satisfaction regarding their poor workmanship!!

We had a handful of plumbing issues (dishwasher drain clogged, water filtration system improperly installed, kitchen faucet leaking into the base cabinet under it) that eventually achieved critical mass and needed to be addressed. On top of that, our home is fairly old and was not maintained well by a previous tenant, so we weren't sure what additional work might be discovered while fixing those issues.
We reached out to H.I.P and were visited by Hiram, who was clearly knowledgeable. He gave us a competitive estimate, and completed the work in a few hours on the same day.

Called at 1 am for help with my bathroom plumbing that was backing up, operator said no one was available until 8 am-12 pm that day. I was expecting someone to probably show up around 12 but I had two staff technicians arrive around 9 am and had a 30 minute window of notification from the company's operator prior to their arrival. They were extremely efficient and polite, I would absolutely use them again. They actually cleaned my bathroom a little more than the way it was from before the plumbing got backed up!

A hole had been drilled through my gas line. The home and everyone inside are okay. So I called 3 contractors. The first two missed the appointment they set. I was frantic and quite worried. We'd been without hot water for a week and cold showers really are no fun. I checked Yelp and found Curtis Plumbing. When I first called no one answered, so I hung up and just decided to deal with it the next day. About 15 minutes later Curtis calls and asked me if I needed plumbing services. I explained my situation and how id already been let down by two contractors. Not only did Curtis express empathy but he also said he could be out the next day.
The next day came and he was on time. He explained this was a big fix and would take a few hours to complete. Curtis did not have enough gas line to fix the issue, but he did cap the current line and cut flow to the kitchen so we could have hot water in the meantime. He ordered the roll of flex line and came out as soon as it came in. Curtis did a phenominal job without destroying my kitchen.
I recommend Curtis Plumbing to anyone. Honestly, he is the most honest contractor we've ever had. He didn't try to upsell us on unnecessary stuff...did not mislead us and above all did quality work. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. It is so difficult to find honest contractors who do quality work.

I had a leak in my bedroom wall. I called my repair guy for guidance. Unfortunately, he had a health issue and was unable to assist me with this repair. However, after assessing the problem he advised me to call a plumber and ask them to open the wall a few feet at a time. Sounded like a sensible direction. I called Roman Plumbing as they were able to fit me in quite quickly. The plumber (Caleb) was pleasant. When he came, I reiterated my Handyman's advice. He immediately dismissed it and jumped to the conclusion that my home's slab had a crack and water was coming up through the crack and we needed to get a sonar guy out first. They would not perform any work until they had the sonar report. He went on to tell me the sonar is usually $450 but he could get me a deal for $250. I again asked him if he could please open my wall a few feet at a time. He said no. After thinking it over that evening, I decided to call A-1 Southern Plumbing. When the plumber came out, I advised the route my handyman said to go. Without any problem, the plumber opened the wall about 24 inches and guess what ? There was the leak !
Evidently, since I had the water spicket worked on a couple of months ago (directly opposite my bedroom wall on the front of the house), it caused a pipe to become separated in The wall. Had the drywall repaired and A-1 Southern billed me under $200 bucks for all the work they did.

This company is truly 24/7. I called Sunday morning and had repairs completed that morning. Price for work was very reasonable and I'd highly recommend this company.

Ciccarello & Son was recommended to me by my tile reglazer and initially quoted on installing a claw foot tub. Unlike several other companies that either didn't show, never sent a quote, or left me with astronomical prices, Scott and his team were reliable, affordable, and able to overcome many obstacles in what evolved into two bathroom remodels.
A few of the other companies seemed unsure about my brand new faucet hardware or the tub drain placement, but it was never an issue. When it came time to install, I discovered one pedestal sink base wasn't made for the sink and needed to be cut, and the other base also needed a special cut to work with my chrome attachments. They presented as an easy adjustment and made it work.
IMO this could not have gone any smoother. I'm so extremely proud of these projects and will never think of calling any other plumber.

EXTREMELY UN-PROFESSIONAL!!! Obtain an estimate & clarified exactly what to expect by meeting with the estimator at my home. In the meeting-I literally touched the valves & questioned whether they were included in his pricing. Estimator advised that plumbing valves were included in price & that all galvanized piping would be removed. Told estimator that home had been red tagged by the County (due to another contractor not obtaining proper permit) & that they MUST obtain proper permit prior to starting job to avoid any further issues with the County. This did not happen - Building Department stopped them after 3 days on job for not having their permit. Alpaugh did NOT even have the courtesy to call me - they just did NOT show up on the 4th day - I had to call to find out why they did not come as scheduled.
After being delayed for several months due to their not obtaining permit-they conveniently stated that the shower valve & tub/shower valves were not included in their price. Spoke directly with Robert Alpaugh regarding this issue & he refused honor the replacement of the valves. Their contract is very vague & subject to debate. The valves are stated in the contract, however they claim they use this contract so that their employees can collect needed materials for the job. I continue to debate this issue thru the Better Business Bureau & most likely will go to court.
In addition, they state that I NEVER mentioned that the home was previously red-tagged even though this conversation took place with 2 of my neighbors being present. Regardless, whether I told them or not - it is Alpaugh's responsibility to obain the proper permit in a timely manner.
Their employees were always late showing up & without proper materials/supplies. One employee refused to go into attic space because he did not have a suit to protect him from insulation. Employees argued with each other the entire first day & several had serious attitude issues. Very, very unprofessional & I questioned their plumbing knowledge.
Do yourself a favor & do NOT call this company. I have now hired a General Contractor to complete my re-build project & they have sub-contracted with Dyser Plumbing - I have been very happy with their work.
BEWARE OF ALPAUGH PLUMBING!!!!!!
