Roman Plumbing was great. They replaced my water heater and were proactive in checking the warranty of my old heater. On time, friendly,  not pushy at all and very up front. Ended up replacing the water softener.

Roman Plumbing is great. Our sink backed up and we were having guests over for dinner. We called Roman's and they sent a guy out right away. The plumber they sent did a great job. He was polite and didnt trash our house. Great Service!

With getting into it to deep. There are a lot of good plumbing Co. to use but not Roman. because it was to much for them to break down the price and give me a paper copy they cost me 2,200.00 for a water bill I wouldn't have had to pay. 1,500.00 that my insurance company would have paid. I guess working with me was just to hard but it wasn't hard to cash my check.. I asked many times over a three month period. Stay clear!!

Poor experience. 1:00 to 5:00 arrival time promised. Later an E- mail said 3:00-4:00. Called them at 5:00 when no one arrived. They said arriving more like 7:00 pm. No apology, she had a could care less attitude.

Cancelled it. Called another plumbing company. Waste of my day and water damage continues.

Excellent, professional service. Quotes are honest and based on the job, not the amount of time it takes; they'll stay as long as necessary. Ask for Kyle, he's honest, hardworking, polite, and just a good guy overall.

I contacted Roman Plumbing to repair a pinhole leak that had developed in the water supply line to our house, I anticipated  a total cost in the $300-$400 range.

The repairs took an hour and 40 minutes for a total cost $961.53.  On  initial phone contact I told Stephanie the scheduler specifically that I temporarily patched the leak and did not want or need emergency service, I was still billed for emergency service.  Also, their website claims that you are presented with upfront price upon our arrival, I was not presented with an upfront price upon the tech's arrival. After two email contacts, I finally received a receipt and was able to see what I was charged for.
After the last email contact requesting reasons for the emergency billing, why I wasn't provided an up front price, why I wasn't provided an invoice until after payment was made and why the technician signed the e-invoice on the iPad in my place, three days later Frank phoned me to discuss these issues.

Frank did not address the emergency call issue, why no up front estimate was provided and why I didn't receive an invoice when the job was completed  and to the e invoice question, Frank responded that the technician has to put something on the signature lines to complete the transaction. I think it would be more appropriate for the customer to review, understand and sign the e-invoice instead of the technician.

Frank said that the bill was in error and did amend it to $551.11 or $330.60 per hour (for reference, our Ivy League-educated attorney charges $300.00 per hour).

Choose wisely, get several quotes and be very, very vigilant.

Roman Plumbing has my highest recommendation for their professional, prompt, and courteous service. Dave and Chris arrived promptly at the appointed time for the installation of my garbage disposal. They provided a fair quote and they were willing to start the job immediately. Unfortunately, we discovered that the necessary wiring was lost somewhere behind the newly installed cabinetry. Dave and Chris were undaunted and efficiently accomplished the installation. In spite of the extra labor and a series of complications, I was not charged any more than the original quote. If I am in need of a plumber in the future, I am definitely calling Roman Plumbing and specifically requesting Dave and Chris - Well done!

I received an email from them about vent pipes in the home.  I had just had a backup and called to schedule an appointment.  The techs arrived on time and walked me through their process and even showed me the images of the pipes.  Great job guys.

One year after my one star review for being charged $525 for less than an hour's work the same pipes have come apart. My kitchen & dining room are flooded. I called owner & he did offer to come out & fix it but said it had been a year I have used it.  So, if you use Roman Plumbing expect your pipes to break yearly I guess. Also told me tech had cleared blockage which was a different time. Not sure where tech was hanging out during time he said he was here but he was here less than an hour, made me sign ahead of repair for the $525. When he finished in less than an hour I questioned him. He said pipes were put in backwards. Just had to turn them around & glue. I turned owner down. Don't want them in my house again. Oh he also said he didn't know where my anger was coming from. Really??!!

They are very courteous from the moment you call until the job is done. Met two different gentlemen. One who came to see the problem and the one who later came and installed two new pop-up drains in my vessel sinks. In an effort to keep the costs down I took the old drains out, removed the vessel sinks and disassembled/loosened the counter top. As  I usually do my own plumbing I had no idea what the damages would be for sure. The replacement drains (exact model used) are available at Lowes for $38 each. The gentleman that did the work was in and out in an hour and fifteen minutes.  He also installed two new faucets that I had purchased that weren't in the initial quote. Nice surprise! The damages were $506 and that was after they took off the $69 I paid for the initial evaluation. In the future I will have more confidence in my own abilities to make such an easy repair. Why I was second guessing myself with this repair I don't know. If ever I fail (after a true attempt) to make plumbing repairs in the future I will call Roman Plumbing for help. PS - I'm going to be a plumber in my next life. :)$$$

Saved me $4000 from another plumber! Other man wanted to rip up my front yard and blame a tree. They came in snaked drain and solved the issue. Only cost $100 that was 1 year ago and still have no issues. If your drains back up get Roman Plumbing for a second opinion! It could save you a lot. Thanks a million for helping!

She came out on short notice to give an estimate, and even though she was a little late, she called to let my renter know.  When she arrived, she took nothing for granted and double checked for herself. It turned out that the work 2 other plumbers said would run into the thousands was really only minor, and she fixed it on the spot. I don't know how she'll do on big jobs, but I won't hesitate to find out. She's at the top of my list next time I need a plumber.

I was blown away with Roman Plumbing: fast, efficient, professional, honest, excellent, thorough work! My sister had a plumbing emergency in FL and because her husband had just died recently, needed me - in New York!  - to search for a plumber ASAP. I found Roman Plumbing, by some kind of miracle or divine guidance, on the internet, and was able to work out payment and repair from NY - and they made it so easy! Vasalli went above and beyond to make sure my sister was taken care of completely and quickly - and with empathy. I recommend Roman Plumbing and Vasalli highly for their honesty, work ethic, and kindness. Extraordinary job! Thank you so much!

These guys are great.  Zack is the best.  One morning ALL the plumbing in my house dried up.  I called Roman Plumbing and Zack responded by phone.  He knew exactly what the problem was before he even saw my house (a broken water softener).  When he arrived Zack fixed the problem quickly and efficiently and he charged a reasonable fee.  Another plumber I called previous to Roman Plumbing had no clue what the problem was and he refused to come out to look at it because it was a Saturday..  I highly recommend Roman Plumbing.

I had a single handle moen shower faucet that was leaking, we're on septic so this isn't good. I couldn't remove the cartridge due to the screw holding it in breaking off and me and not knowing it.
So I called Roman plumbing. The service man showed up on time, I'm not going to name names. He tried to pull it out, after some time struggling with it, he broke it. This is when he seen the broke off screw. He broke out every tool he had to remove the remaining cartridge. In  doing this he scored the inside of the brass housing for the cartridge. Once he installed the new cartridge and I turned the water on, it sprayed everywhere. It was 7 pm at this time. He apologized for everything. and said that he has to replace the shower valve, then went home.
He showed up when he said he would. He installed the new valve and all the trim, which was nice. I got home just when he finished, and we talked for a bit, then he left. Well, when he left, he left a big mess in our tub, and greasy paw prints everywhere and left the silicone caulking around the new fixtures he installed, for me to do. Not impressed with that. My brother is a plumber by trade so I know what is part of the job description.
A final thought, plumbers need to carry cleaning material, and towels or rags to clean their messes up. Instead of using a home owner's towel.
The bottom line is, he screwed up, and he, and roman plumbing made it right. kudos to them. Not many companies do this.

Your response was well thought out and equally as well said.  With that being said, I am a state licensed electrical contractor who has operated a business in Pasco county for the past 35 years. I know all about safety, training, liability insurance, workers comp insurance and everything else you mentioned. Even with all of that, I would be ashamed to charge the prices you charge. I have made a very nice living for myself and family charging reasonable rates. Shame on you for attempting to diffuse the situation with the lame excuses

Just moved into my new house and had some major plumbing issues. After doing tons of research and combing through tons of reviews, I made my decision to go with Roman Plumbing. I never had to hire a plumber let alone shell money out for a plumber and for all the work they did, I say it was a fair price for the professionalism and the customer service that was provided, its hard these days to find a good reliable company. When I called and spoke to Mindy I knew right away I wanted to schedule, but before I did, I made one more call. When I called back, I spoke to a very nice gentleman and he scheduled me right in. My main water valve to the house was leaking, they sent Zach out, I had a very pleasurable experience with him. Its nice having techs come out to your home and make you feel comfortable. I had to call Roman back out again, but this time it was a Saturday. They sent William right out, again another pleasurable experience. William was very knowledgeable and very kind. I do recommend getting the Roman promise, as it could save you a few dollars down the road, because after my first call I didn't realize, I would need them back out again. Defiantly a company you can trust. Don't hesitate or waste anymore time, go with Roman!

I hired this company because I had 2 (out of 2) non-functional toilets, and because I never learned how to repair drain valves and flappers, etc.

Given that I couldn't get any local handymen to even call me back, much less come out, I called Roman Plumbing.

Bear in mind that a plumber will charge much more than a handyman, and that they are more knowledgeable and accountable.

They responded the next day and repaired both tanks within several minutes.

The following day, I wasn't sure if I had developed another problem, so I called them to come back out and check it.

They did so, adjusted a chain, and were happy to explain all procedures and answer all of my questions.

Zachary is the go-to go getter for this business. He was very helpful, patient  and curteous. He is also the plumber that returned. This company stands behind their work.

I am very happy with the professional service that I received from Roman Plumbing.

I cannot begin to say how amazing Roman plumbing is. My dad has always been the person who has come to my home to help with anything maintenance wise, repair, or upgrades. However when it comes to plumbing issues, he said just call a professional do not risk plumbing issues. I am so glad that I called Roman Plumbing, they were so professional and so courteous I'm almost excited to have a plumbing issue to call them again. They excel at customer service, quality products and service, safety, and even education of plumbing measure you can independently take.

I initially spoke with Frankie, and he told me that they have three different options and they would help advise me of what would be best depending on what my kitchen needed. I instantly received an email and text notification for my appointment.

Brandon was was my designated plumber, I received a text update. Then a few moments later I received a call from Brandon letting me know he was on his way, and would be at my house in about 15 minutes. Before I knew it, Brandon was at my house with the Roman Plumbing truck. I really appreciated this, as a safety feature being alone on the house at night. Roman Plumbing defiantly set a very professional manner before even making it to door.

Brandon looked at the old garbage disposal, and saw that it did indeed need to be replaced. One time previously, it had leaked. But other than the one time, I never experienced any other problems with it. Brandon explained to me the three different models that they had, and advised me of what would be best. Before quoting me for the job, he looked in what appeared to be a manual or a Roman Plumbing Bible of everything. Pricing was very fair, and seeing him utilize this manual insured to me that Brandon was following absolute and total company procedure, policy, and pricing.

Brandon installed the new garbage disposal, and went above and beyond. He took the time to check the pipes to make sure there was nothing blocking them. He also went through to explain to me what is and is not a good item to put down a garbage disposal. He also took the time to re-seal the top of the opening to my sink to the garbage disposal. Apparently this had not been done properly before, Brandon was happy to help correct it.

What was most impressive is when Brandon was finishing up, he asked me Do you have any other plumbing questions or issues? I told him I had a question about the water (staining my toilets), he instantly knew it was hard water. A quick fix from a water softener. He explained to me about the nouveau system (with citrus) an alternate to a water softener, since I didn't like the texture or scent from it. He also showed me how to optimize my dishwasher, which I told him I rarely use because my husband does a better job at watching them like Cinderella. He showed me the preferred detergent for my dish water, and how to tweak my rinse settings to get more shine (I'm all about that sparkle & shine). Brandon also inquired with some other items just to make sure I had no other issues.

Brandon did the transaction right there with me present. This was really nice, just to ensure security of my credit card. He also provided me with the documents that went along with the garbage disposal.

I will absolutely call Roman plumbing anytime I even think I may have a plumbing question or problem. I know that whenever I may call Roman plumbing, they will always take care of any problem 100%. And if it is not a Plumbing issue they will get me to the right person who will uphold the same customer service they offer.

Just bought a home and didn't realize we needed water valves to hook up our washer. It's my first house and my first washer. Don't judge. They came out on a Saturday. First big win! Came on time! Frankie was Professional. Quick. Even hooked my washer up. Gave me some suggestions on other little fixes. Polite. Very impressed. Will definitely do business again. Much appreciated and I highly recommend them.

I had a leak in my bedroom wall. I called my repair guy for guidance.  Unfortunately, he had a health issue and was unable to assist me with this repair.  However, after assessing the problem he advised me to call a plumber and ask them to open the wall a few feet at a time. Sounded like a sensible direction.  I called Roman Plumbing as they were able to fit me in quite quickly.  The plumber (Caleb) was pleasant.  When he came, I reiterated my Handyman's advice.  He immediately dismissed it and jumped to the conclusion that my home's slab had a crack and water was coming up through the crack and we needed to get a sonar guy out first.  They would not perform any work until they had the sonar report.  He went on to tell me the sonar is usually $450 but he could get me a deal for $250. I again asked him if he could please open my wall a few feet at a time.  He said no.  After thinking it over that evening, I decided to call A-1 Southern Plumbing. When the plumber came out, I advised the route my handyman said to go.  Without any problem, the plumber opened the wall about 24 inches and guess what ? There was the leak !
Evidently, since I had the water spicket worked on a couple of months ago (directly opposite my bedroom wall on the front of the house), it caused a pipe to become separated in The wall. Had the drywall repaired and A-1 Southern billed me under $200 bucks for all the work they did.

Brian and Ann are excellent tradesman who understand their work, have integrity and will get the job done right the first time.  We've used them four times already and having nothing but positive experiences so will continue to use them.  Before any plumbing work is conducted based on recommendations from other contractors we hire, e.g. drywall, electrical, etc. I always get their opinion before any plumbing work is started.

Amazing! I found Ann through Yelp to replace a hot water heater on our home beachside. This was a little tricky, since I was on the West Coast (California) when this emergency arose. I ordered a hot water heater from Lowes and Roman Plumbing picked it up and had it installed in 2 hours. Price was exactly what was quoted and very friendly to deal with. Really came through in a pinch for me. Thanks, Ann. And thanks Yelp.

Complete ripoff and total joke. They can't justify their INSANELY Expensive rates. Every other plumbing company is 60-80% less expensive. They just slap whatever they feel like charging that customer. And let me tell you it's stupid. They don't respond to emails or return phone calls. And their finished work is very sub-par. Don't bother calling for an estimate. I included their estimate and other estimates from other company in my pictures. They also wanted to rip apart my walls which wasn't necessary at all. The company I hired was in and out in 40 minutes with no damage to my house. This is what Roman plumbing does to our elderly senior population. Other local plumbing companies and general contractors know this company is a scam. In response to the owners response, so what's your reason for the $700 difference? I provided pictures of your estimate and what other companies charge. You have a reputation of ripping off senior citizens. And a bad reputation with other local contractors. Do what you want! I won't be using you! Not a good idea to rip off people in your neighborhood because it ruins your long term relationships with local customers. Florida's notorious for shady contractors and you're one of them. The company I hired after you didn't need to go in thru the back wall like you recommended. They simply installed a new valve.

I hired these guys and gave them a not so good review on home adviser.  Big mistake! My problem was that my septic was not fixed because I needed to have them pumped.  After all was said and done, these guys went above and beyond what I expected them to do.  They did not leave here until everything was working properly.  They deserve a 10 rating instead of a 5.

In addition to installing major items in my condo per previous review, they also replaced the cartridges in both showers. Now since I've lived here hot water in showers required turning tap to the right so I thought I had no hot water in the showers but did have it everywhere else, which makes no sense of course. I called Roman and within a minute Dave called me to explain that when they installed new cartridges in showers they found them both upside down.  I'm sure he mentioned that but I didn't know what it meant. Anyway purpose of this review is that they responded immediately and made sense of the problem. Got a good laugh today! Note to self: Hot water always LEFT
