Overcharged me for service and I believe they are being dishonest regarding the charges. My air pump unit outside was making a loud noise which is less than 2 years old. Called Cornerstone and asked if they do warranty work which they said they did. Scheduled appointment. When they showed up, immediately the service guy determined I had a bad contactor which needed to be replaced. He told me at the time was $198.00 for the part and $69.00 for the service fee. Asked about the warranty and he advised that the unit is under warranty but the part would still cost $198.00. Even when these items are under warranty, he said you still have to pay to stock it back with the company and that $198.00 was my warranty price. I went ahead with the service but thought I would follow up with Trane (which is the brand of my air conditioning unit) to confirm later. The next day Tiffany from Cornerstone called to ask about my service which I advised that the service was good but couldn't understand the price since it should have been covered under warranty. She said she would check into it and call me back. When she called me back, she said that it was a wear and tear item and that is why it wouldn't be covered under warranty. A few days later, I called Trane, they said that the part was covered under warranty that a warranty was not submitted for my part and that other than labor, I shouldn't have to pay for anything. Called Cornerstone back and advised what Trane said who they advised again that they would look into it and call me back. When they called back, they admitted that the part was covered under warranty but what the cost was for labor. $69.00 was the initial diagnostics and $198.00 was for the labor of replacing the part. I told them that this was an outrageous price for labor. The service guy was here for about 15 minutes replacing the part and 10 minutes talking with me. Even when you look at the bill that I have, it shows $69.00 for diagnostic and $198.00 for the Contactor. If this be the case, they are charging about $534.00 an hour for labor.

Did solid work the 1st time employed, called several times for some additional work and never responded ever again, very odd

We've been using Ciccarello and Sons for at least 15 years. My wife's dental office is a customer, my parents have used them, and we use them consistently for everything from installation of water purification systems to simple stoppages. Josef is one of the most honest and diligent workers I've ever encountered. I can't recommend them highly enough.

In the process of trying to clean up my side yard, I noticed it was WAY more wet than it should be.  The more I cleaned it up, the more water I saw.  This is NOT good because it's where the water line comes up from the street.

I turned off the water at the main, and trenched the water away from the foundation. Since it started being LESS wet, I figured there was a leak.

I called Leto and left a message.  Within minutes, they returned my call and asked if I wanted someone out today.  I told them no, it was too wet and would be just a mess for them.  They promised to call the next morning.

I was called first thing the next morning.  The plumber came out and looked, and told me they needed to replace the line along the house.  When I asked about the run from the meter to the house (and found out that it's MY responsibility, not the county), I asked for an estimate to replace the entire run.  I was quoted a price which didn't make me cry, and told them to go for it.

There were two more people to help him get the job done within less than an hour.  Within 4 hours, they had replaced the whole length, from the meter to the house, buried it, installed a shut off at the house and a hose bib.  

They cleaned up the front yard, and as much as they could in the back (the soil was still wet and needs to dry).  

They were polite, professional, gave me a fair price, and were efficient.  I couldn't ask for anything more.  I highly recommend this company.

Just realized I hadn't done a review for Tom Green. These guys were AWESOME! Had to replace my toilet mount, the underside bolts had broken off during removal, and I thought I was screwed. They had that repaired so quick, I asked them just to go ahead and replace the toilet. The price was more than fair, they could have charged me more...  Did I mention they came on the same day I called them?

These guys got my business from now on.

It's the middle of the night and your hot water heater decides to spring a leak.... who do you call? Crowell Plumbing, of course!

I've used the guys at Crowell Plumbing and Heating for years -- first at my house in Westchase, and more recently at my condo in Carrollwood, and I've always been very pleased with their service. Over the years they have helped me to replace old fixtures, fixed an annoying leak in my washing machine, and most recently replaced my hot water heater.

Bobby, one of Crowell's Master Plumbers, helped me by replacing the water heater and the drip pan underneath, and then completely replaced and reconfigured the PVC piping in and out of the water heater to be sure that everything was draining correctly. Very personable guy who took the time to explain what he was doing, and then spent the extra time cleaning up after the repair job to be sure that all the trash was removed and the floor was cleaned.

Crowell offers all of the standard residential, commercial, and new construction plumbing service and repair work as well as 24 x 7 emergency service. Their offices are on Florida Avenue near Cappy's Pizzeria.

Had our garbage disposal quit working and contacted Choice Plumbing for a repair in Dunedin, FL.  Receptionist was friendly and courteous and was able to book us our choice of am/pm appt within two days. Service tech Jason was prompt and gave us a 30 minute courtesy call of his arrival time that day within the four hour time frame.  Jason was efficient, personable,  and quickly replaced the disposal after going out to get a new disposal which came with a two year warranty.  We will definitely use them again if we have any other plumbing needs.  Pricing was reasonable for plumbing services and there were no hidden charges or service fees.

I can not say enough about the great work this company does. I had problems last year and Mark , my technician, fixed everything including a leak in the shower that needed wall access.

He recommended their maintenance plan and I am glad I bought it. I had my yearly inspection today and we found a leak in the bathroom, inside the wall somewhere. The leak detection people will be out Friday and then I will get RJ Kielty back out to fix things up. He turned off my hot water so it doesn't get worse. On the bright side, at least we get cold showers this week.

They are honest and fair and Mark talks to you so you can understand what is needed.

Update- I decided to get my work done from a different referral. I will still use them in the future.

This is a small plumbing company that still does what it says on the cover. I made an appointment: they arrived, they did the work, I paid them. The plumber that showed up at the house was extremely knowledgeable, knew exactly what he was doing, and got things done.

I made the mistake of using a Handy Man to get some work done in my bathroom. Everything that that guy touched he messed up: my toilet wasn't sealed properly, my shower handle was falling off,  and my sink faucet was loose. Armor's plumber fixed everything in 2.5 hrs for $289. Money well spent.

Great service! I've had a really weird issue with low water pressure, Independent Plumbing located an issue and fixed it in just 30 minutes! I will recommend their service to everybody!

Sounds like Don is no longer with us yet his team is keeping the name in his honor.  I needed a new sink put in my condo and they did a great job.  Professional, kind and easy to accommodate.  They did such a great job that I had them help my 85 year old mother fix the filter in her sink along with a new faucet.  I highly recommend

Buccaneer plumbing agreed to replace a water heater and never showed up to do the job or returned calls to let us get someone else.

I found this company on thumbtack and decided to give them a shot to quote on adding in a new valve for two of my showers and new mesh hoses on a double vanity. I have to admit I was a little skeptical at first, but Abraham came  through. Not only was he reasonably priced my tenant said he did a great job.
I am not in town to inspect his work but he sent me pictures of before and after the repairs on everything.
My only problem if he tells you he's coming at 10 am he may not show up until noon.
All in all I would use him again. Great Job according to my tenants and when I get back to Florida, I'll stop by and take a look in person.

Do Not Use! I had a back up in January they came out and snaked it. Charged $800. The guy tore my TP holder from the wall-didn't bother mentioning it to me. I called the office and they did send someone out to fix.
Had another issue in August so I called them again. They came out and started snaking. Was told a camera was needed to be done at a cost of $2500. I agreed not knowing I was being taken for a ride. Was told they jetted it to clean out sewer due to roots from palm tree.  They were here all day ruined my rug and was told I needed my sewer line replaced. (10 feet of it)  bid was $4650 from them.
I have since called 6 other companies with master plumbers. Each were substantially cheaper then Mr Rooter. Snaking would have been $150-200.
Camera with jetting $500-$700.
Replacement of sewer pipe $1000-3000 depending on how much needed replaced.

In the end I used Continental Plumbing.  Mr Webster was to the point and knowledgable. He is a local to Tampa so he understands the laws and what is needed here. My end charge for sewer replacement was $800.

Please do not use Mr Rooter. It is very sad to see how much I was taken advantage of.
Then to find out the jetting they did accomplished nothing. See pipe picture .

Liars, greedy thieves, and attempt to physically intimidate.

I called with a basic problem and was given a quote over the phone - x dollars for service + x fee for specific equipment if the equipment is used.

Appointment was set between 1-2pm.

2:11pm and no one calls me. I call them and find out the guy is running late so he'll call me.

I get a call around 3 with Paul Blackniak, plumber, telling me he'll arrive around 3:30pm.

(So appointment was for 1-2 but he arrives at 3:30pm.)

Paul Blackniak, lying, thieving plumber, arrives and tells me the cost is now almost 50% more than what I was quoted.

I mention the phone quote and he agrees to honor the original agreement I was given over the phone + $10 for no reason.

After the job, where he didn't use the specific equipment mentioned above, he STILL BILLS. ME FOR THE EQUIPMENT USE. I tried to protest but he had my card and ran it quickly while i was protesting, saying, oh look it already went through.

That is DISGUSTING.

I ask why he charged me the fee for the equipment use and he gives me ridiculous reasons like, you go and find someone who'll do this job for that price. I counter by saying then he shouldn't have agreed to that price.

We argued and during that time Paul Blackniak, lying plumber, got in my face trying to use his 6'2 frame to intimidate my 5'7 frame. Good thing I study and teach martial arts and have a dog. I tell him to get out of my house.

I call the office and dispute the charge, but i am given an attitude and lies. I am told they will refund me, but...

When I call back asking for the refund info to be texted or emailed to me I am then told they need to speak with the boss. I ask if they need to talk to the boss about the email or to approve the refund, and they say to approve the refund.

So basically, they offered me a refund they couldn't guarantee and I am now waiting for them to call me back after speaking to the boss.

I've never experienced such pathetic attempts to raise a quoted price on me before in my life. To quote me a price then bill me for added fees for no reason is absurd. Then to deal with such rude customer service over the phone is pathetic.

These people are thieves and liars. NO ONE, absolutely NO ONE should use this company. The fact that Paul Blackniak got in my face and tried to intimidate me is disgusting, dangerous and pathetic.

Called Busto Plumbing because I needed a new water heater. Never got a call back. When they look at their year end numbers they will probably blame the economy not their lack of customer service.

Spent $10k to run brand new plumbing and toilets for entire 2 story house. As the project ensued Rolando became impossible to get a hold of, extremely rude, and hostile. 6 months after install and countless times running an auger to clear the upstairs bathroom line we had to call other plumbers to get a borescope down the line as it didn't seem normal that brand new plumbing wouldn't go more than 1-2 days without getting clogged. Rolando took no responsibility for his incompetence and we found Rolando left a test ball enlodged in the drain line which was supposed to be removed after the rough in stage causing all the backups. To this day he still did not admit wrong or offer any reimbursement with proof and documentation of his fault. They are in it for the short term and not long term business people no regard for keeping customers satisfied or owning up to their mistakes. Would be nice if they reached out to rectify the situation but instead they just ignore/don't answer calls/or rationalize no fault on their behalf. Run far away from using this guy. I'm an investor doing a lot of rehabs and around the construction business a very long time. Do not trust and beware. Will be filing small claims suit and having insurance go after him

We had a broken faucet needed immediate attention and it was 430 pm. So we called anytime plumbing. They showed up at 7:30 pm which is great after hours service awesome. They didn't have parts to fix it. So they said we will get parts in the morning and be back to fix it. Next day never showed up and I called at 730 pm and they said yea I got stuck at another job. Shouldn't be anyone ahead of me as they were already at my job the night before. Next day day 3 no water to my sink still call and hey said he has 2 jobs to do first. How is this possible??? Finally 230pm third day I said to myself forget it I will fix myself. They finally called me at 4:30 said plumber was On his way I said forget it now can't go 3 days without water. Wanted $850 to replace faucet and takes 3 days to come back to do work. Suggest you find another plumber
