Answered all my questions before I scheduled them to come. Carlos was the electrician and he was super friendly and knowledgable. At one point, he sent pix to his boss for advice on how to handle a situation. He worked fast and came in under budget!  Highly recommend. I would call them again for any electrical needs.

I came home on a Saturday to discover the electricity was out and was unable to fix it myself.  American Electrical responded immediately and Chad came to my house very quickly.  He was professional and polite and answered all of my questions.  I highly recommend them!  Thank you!

These are the guys to call for all your electrical needs. Fast reliable service and the techs are very neat and respectful . I would not ever think of trying another company.

An elderly friend needed some extensive electrical repair & fixture replacement. They were promptly there when they said they would be & were even better when they returned to do the work & found out there were more fixtures purchased for install than we originally told them. Although they had to split the install into two visits, it was still a most pleasant experience. They are the most courteous, kind, patient people I have had to deal with in customer service in a very long time. If you want high quality work and a level of customer service hard to find in today's environment, call them, you won't regret it!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Had an outlet that had burned out in the kitchen. Called Empire and they were able to get my problem fixed in a timely manner. Dealt with a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable staff from start to finish!! Very reasonable prices. Would definitely use them again!

When I discovered my boat lift wouldn't work this morning and with a hurricane approaching, I started calling electricians.  Only Lighthouse tried to help by squeezing me in between their schedule calls.  They were there in 20 minutes.  They couldn't fix all that was wrong, but they hung in there and figured a way to get power down to the river and to the lift, and got my boat as high out of the water as possible within 2 hours.  No idea how we'll fair in the hurricane, but Lighthouse gave us a much better chance.  When you consider the nightmare of a boat loose in the hurricane or tearing the lift and boathouse to pieces in the storm surge, you can imagine my relief that Lighthouse responded and figured out a way to help.  I called 11 electricians this morning and was fortunate when Lighthouse came to the rescue.  They'll be the only ones I call in the future.

Called and was scheduled over a month out- day of got a call to reschedule due to heavy rains and an overbook scheduled- I rescheduled which was 2 weeks later. Got a call day of- about an hour before they were supposed to show saying their brakes stopped working on the work truck and office would have to call me to reschedule. Never heard back from anyone. I won't be using this company.

We own several properties, and Larry has done work in all of them. He is fast, meticulous and definitely knows what he is doing. He's a down-to-earth guy, and always in a good mood. He is very fair with his pricing and always bills us directly, even when we have had work done through a contractor.

Out of all the professionals we've had to deal with during the past 3 remodels that we've done, he has by far been the easiest and best to deal with.

The communication was excellent from the first phone call.  I explained that my father was on a new oxygen machine and it blew a circuit so I needed to have that checked as well as the breaker.   I was able to get an early appointment the next day which I was happy with.   Later that afternoon she called to say they had availability that day.   Matthew called me to tell me he was on his way and was so kind.   My father wasn't thrilled because this was something he used to be able to do.   But was very complimentary about the fellas and their work when it was completed.   I will defiantly be calling them in the future.  Thank you so much!

We had them in to add new lighting and move some wiring.  They showed up a few minutes early, did the work quickly, were very tidy and cleaned up after themselves, and were extremely friendly, courteous and professional.  As far as home-related services, this is the best customer experience I've had since moving to Fernandina Beach.  Also, the price for the work they did was very fair.  I definitely recommend them.

I originally contacted Richard to paint a room and add 3D art to an accent wall. He was quick to respond, showed up on time, and provided a thorough, professional estimate. Far more professional than other companies I contacted for the same project. We ended up being indecisive on that project and haven't done anything with the room to date. But, since Richard left a good impression, I contacted him to install some outdoor light fixtures, a couple Wi-Fi smart thermostats, and epoxy our garage floor. Even though we didn't hire him for the first job, he was still just as responsive and professional. He did excellent work on all we asked. His price was fair and he worked the entire time he was here. Which is not always the case I've found. Richard is a great find for any handyman work and we'll definitely use him for future projects.

Would never consider using this place. I called for a routine service request, they were very friendly and set up an appointment the next day between  11:30 and 2pm. I explained exactly what I needed and where I lived. By 2:30 the next day with no arrival I called the office where I was told they  had no record of the appointment suggesting they had been having computer problems and I must have fallen thru the cracks. I then was told maybe it wasn't them that I called, they don't even service my area. That was despite the fact that their website shows that they do cover my area and I was calling the exact same number my phone was telling me I called yesterday. While I was on the phone with the office I received a call from the electrician who suggested he could tell me over the phone how to do the wiring. When I balked at that he told me the charge to come out and do a diagnostic was $333 plus a $67.50 charge for the work. Despite my repeating that I needed some fairly easy wiring of a  replacement fan by an electrician he insisted I needed a diagnostic. This is in spite of the fact that their website says free estimates.
When I talked again to the office they were very apologetic and offered discounts but I would suggest this was a classic bait and switch and the Company should be avoided at all cost.

Had some items that needed to be repaired prior to selling my house. David Gray got my business based on their reviews and the fact that they were open on Saturday and able to get me a technician for that Monday. The tech called when he was on his way and arrived very soon after. He quickly diagnosed the problems and resolved them. After the repairs were made they cleaned up any mess they made. There was no sign that they had been there other than stuff working like it should.

I thought that the pricing was fair and competitive. You may be able to get better rates with a small mom and pop shop but knowing a prominent company is backing the work makes it worth it. If I need any electrical work done in the future I wouldn't hesitate to call David Gray again.

Service completed on April 5,2019. The service specialist was on time and listened to our issues and handled the electrical issues in a timely manner and very professional. Mark was excellent. I continue to recommend this company.
