Five or Free has worked for our family twice now, on large jobs,  and both times their work, competence and attention to detail were outstanding.  Each one of the electricians was prompt, polite and personable.   Their estimate was accurate and reasonable, and they did not charge  for work it was determined unneeded.  Special commendations due to Allen and Justin for their great job this second time.  
   So, use this company, Yelpers!   5 or Free was excellent for us and can be for you too.

I needed to get a heat detector installed in the garage to meet regulations, and Luis and team were very responsive to setup an appointment time to come by and take a look at my needs.

Their price was also very reasonable, which is appreciated! They came by to do the work just a few days later and were efficient and clean, despite needing to cut into the drywall in a couple of locations.

Very nice people and I'm looking forward to having them do some additional work on my house.

Had a great experience with Gavin who helped us install a floodlight + camera on the exterior of my parents house. He was very responsive, polite and professional. He took his time to explain things and was patient. Gavin's prices were reasonable and he got the job done. I would recommend him for any electrical needs and would definitely keep him in mind for any future electrical jobs/issues.

Dave, Horacio and Mark replaced the electrical service in our house and did a great job.  They were speedy and thorough and did a few other small jobs, also.  Dave set up the pre- and post-building inspection appointments and was present for both.  We would definitely use them again for big or small electrical projects.

I called David on a Saturday afternoon and he was able to come by same day.  He replaced a faulty outdoor GFCI which kept tripping causing my irrigation system to be ineffective.  He quoted a reasonable price on the phone and stuck to it.  He wouldn't even accept a tip for his speedy and efficient service on a Saturday.  I couldn't have found him without Yelp's help.  Thanks everyone!

I am very disappointed in this company.  We had them out to inspect a faulty outlet.   The technician informed us that the circuit breaker was old and should be replaced (originally quoted 7k, but settled on 6.  The work was done.  The next morning half of the outlets in the house weren't working, presumably the circuit breaker.   Pacific came back.   Then the technician informed us that the whole house should be re-wired to the tune of 70k.   They said the house had a fire danger and probably wouldn't pass inspection otherwise.   It also appeared that he looked up the home's value on Zillow and said, well, the house is worth 2m....  Keep in mind everything is working fine at this point.  I told them just to finish getting the circuit breaker signed off by the city and we will not be using their services in the future.   Only reason for 2 stars is they responded quickly when things weren't right after the new panel was installed.   Oh, and the house did pass inspection (except for needing larger exterior house numbers, which we will have someone else do).    Be careful if you hire this company unless you have unlimited funds and don't mind being taken for a ride.

Unable to get an estimate for the job unless I pay $89.  That seems alot to get an estimate for the job and see how they they may work for my job which was at leeast 12 recessed lighting and additional fixtures.  Too bad for them.

Job: Installation of a 240V 14-50 NEMO Socket in two garage locations; west wall and center ceiling, with a retractable fast charging station.

Interactions pre and post-install: Certified electricians and installers were present during installation. They took extra care and did all prep work, including cleaning everything and moving items back to their original place. Customer service was and still is very responsive via text. Extremely clean and professional custom install.

After switching from ATT to Comcast my system was better but still ran like a boat with the anchor out. It has been over two months since Paul re-installed my wireless internet system. Paul is a gift of the gods  NEVER had to call him back. Our system runs flawless. PC's, Ipads, Iphones, laptops , desktops.

What a relief it is.

Paul was trustworthy, honest and I just wish I had more for hm to do, it is a shame that all he does is tech.

We called Rick and Ninous about doing a job for our company. We needed some drop downs installed so that we could be within fire code and regulation. It was kind of a hot job, since my manager had been lagging on giving me the ok to call somebody, but these guys came out quickly, gave me a quick quote, and were ready to work.

The quote itself was far better than what anybody else quoted me, and the work was slated to last maybe two days. Ninous and his guy came in early morning to do all the loud stuff, so as to not disturb our office, and then were done in just one day.

Ninous was friendly, polite, and very considerate of all things. He threw in a quick service for us as well, and helped to power to our front desk.

These guys are great, and definitely are going to be our go to electricians in this area.

Ertan of Magnolia Electric Co. is awesome. He is located in Walnut Creek but works all over--San Francisco and the rest of the Bay Area. He is a general contractor as well. IF he says he will be there at a certain time, he is there. Very respectful of the home he is working in. His prices are very fair. I had a plumbing problem after my electrical work, but it was a problem in the making prior to my electrical work. I told him that I couldn't imagine it was from anything they did. rather than insisting that it was unrelated to his work, he insisted on coming out to check it out for me before I had a plummer out. He is exactly what one looks for--on time, respectful, excellent price.  Good guy.

These guys are the BEST. I had no power in half my condo for two days. I called them. They were here within an hour. And in no time I have all my power back. And I can't thank them enough!!!  They are professional and very nice and understanding.

Wouldn't hire them again.

Worked with them on a time and materials basis and they charged us as much as they possibly could for very little work .

For 8 hours with material they charged us $2162 and installed a total of 4 recessed lights with one wire run from the basement.

Also - not sure what your comment below is about. The lights, dimmer switches were all purchased by us and your person went on our time to home depot for materials you needed for drilling.

Looking for an honest, hard-working, detail-oriented handyman?  Call Sergie!  I needed IKEA wall cabinets assembled and mounted.  Sergie was very responsive and quoted me his rates.  After he assembled the cabinets, we had two challenges: 1. IKEA did not order all the parts I needed and 2. the walls and ceilings were not straight and leveled.  Sergie helped me troubleshoot and problem solve. He also made sure that the cabinets were perfectly leveled and aligned. He cleaned up the room and all the debris. Because of the unexpected complications, the job took a lot longer than expected.  Sergie did not charged me for the additional hours.  He stood by his original quote. I was really impressed by his workmanship and his ethics. I highly recommend Sergie.
