Professional, Knowledgeable, On time, Trustworthy, Neat and Clean!  All the things you look for when perusing Yelp for good, honest, professional help.  We purchased our town home in Palo Alto back in 2005.  Since then we have hired Anthony and his team for many of our electrical renovation projects.  Our most recent project was having them install new electrical heating.  As always they did a great job from beginning to end.  We are very satisfied customers.

One of my kitchen GFCIs started tripping frequently, so I called Charlie and he came out the next day with a newer GFCI, checked for other problems, and had everything back to normal within an hour. I can't ask for anything more and still recommend him very highly.

RB Electric is a wonderful family electrical business - hire them!

My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and we needed all new electrical. Our house is very old, from 1926 so it's cloth and tube.

We spoke with several companies and decided to go with RB Electic. The owner, Rigo, came out and walked us through what we needed. He is a pleasure to work with - clearly an expert at his craft and eager to provide a really good experience for us. We found his prices to be reasonable given the complexity of the work.

Rigo and his crew showed up on time and were ready to get started. Our job took an entire day and he had all of the materials (boxes, switches, etc) ready to go with him. They removed all of the old electrical and replaced it with new wiring and the correct boxes for the oven and fan hood. They worked very hard all day long and ask me a few questions along the way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.

I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. Rigo and his crew are by far the best electricians I've ever worked with and we'll be hiring them again in the future. I highly recommend getting a quote from RB Electric and considering them for your electrical needs.

Asked for consult on site. Got back to me super fast. Showed up exactly when they scheduled.

Never needed to see the final product.  Bc they advised me I didn't need the work ... bc repair was so easy. And showed me how to do it.  And wouldn't accept an offered 'svc. visit' fee when I offered.

Michael is my go to electrician.  He has helped me clean up a wiring nightmare in a condo, which had switches mixed and hazardous wiring in the outlets.  Then I needed help with an older single family home and he upgraded all the outlets, checked the switches, and installed an outdoor motion activated floodlight for me.  He is quick to respond and is always on time.  Most recently, I needed to get an electrical issue resolved before a tenant moved in and Michael was quick to respond, troubleshoot the issue, and resolve it.

I called them for replacement of a porch light and addition of a light in a hallway closet. We made an appointment for an estimate in 48 hours. They showed up on time, and the price was reasonable. They came back in 2 days to do the job. Arrived on time with a smile, nothing went wrong, they listened to what I was looking for and gave me exactly that. Frankly the experience was what you would hope from a vendor coming into your home. Polite, on time, priced right and at the end everything was as expected.

After explaining my problem, Alex told me that he would save me some money right off the bat and walk me through a possible solution. He was absolutely right - after less than 10 minutes, he helped me resolve the issue. We are so grateful for Alex' friendliness and willingness to help, time, and expertise to quickly resolve the issue. We will 100% be working with Towery for future electrical issues in our funky 1950s home.

Had an electrical issue in our pool shed, and gave Tony a call.  He was incredibly responsive, and since he's local in Martinez was able to drop by on very short notice.  Tony was able to troubleshoot a few potential issues.  
For anyone looking for an electrician, I'd definitely suggest Tony.

What a great shop!  We did a lot of research online and on the phone.  Many people couldn't answer our questions and didn't have vacuums in stock, so you couldn't test them out!  At Phil's they know their product.  Vicky guided us through the choices to help us decide if we should get a canister or upright.  We are so happy with our purchase!

I wanted to add three grounded electrical outlets in my garage, one off of an existing outlet and two new ones on its own switch. I contacted 12 different electricians and Anthony was one of the most responsive and provided one of the best quotes. He's also one of only a handful on Yelp who were also willing to discuss via message, as most people want to schedule an initial consultation.

On-site, Anthony arrived on time and was able to confirm that it was possible to get the outlets in my desired locations. He completed the job in a few hours and at high quality. 5/5 would recommend.

I used Blue Line electric recently and had a very great experience. Dave was timely in responding to my request and in providing a quote. His rates are reasonable and similar to other quotes I received. Dave was able to schedule me quickly and did a great job installing a couple of new light fixtures in my home (with mask on!). Aside from the professionalism, he is just a really nice/pleasant person. I highly recommend Blue Line Electric!

Jose was one of the most professional and top notch contractors I've ever worked with. He was quick to reply to all my texts and arrived at my house on time and finished the install of my TELSA WALL CHARGER in less than 1 hour! I don't usually post reviews unless I am impressed and overly satisfied with the work and Jose exceeded all my expectations. In addition, his cost was fair and very reasonable. He explained everything he was going to do for the job and showed my pictures of his work throughout the entire process. Jose is my GO-TO guy for anything electric from now on. You won't be disappointed. HIRE HIM!

We needed to replace the old knob-and-tube wiring in the attic of our 1924 bungalow. Martin responded promptly to my inquiry and was able to arrange to do the job within a week. It was NOT an easy job--lots of funky DIYs and weird patch-up jobs had accumulated over the years. Still, Martin and his crew handled it with good grace and showed a thoroughness and care for detail that impressed me. We had a slight cost overrun, but it was all spelled out to me beforehand and really not excessive given the challenges they faced. I'm also impressed with Martin's demeanor; he's very polite, intelligent, and strikes me as a man of integrity. His employees Rodney and Nate were also good guys to have around. Took one star off because they are not quite as meticulous as their boss; they damaged a couple of stone switch plates and mixed up the light fixtures in several rooms (put the wrong ones back in the ceiling), which is just careless. But overall we will recommend Lumiere Electric.

Regent 5 was wonderful. They updated our internet and we now can use it from anywhere in our house.  They also installed a Nest thermostat.  Nothing is easy in our old house with very challenging wiring, but Cham, Abraham and Ullysis  made it seem standard.  When we had some difficulty with our new Nest thermostat they immediately sent out one of the guys to straighten it all out.  Regent 5 is very professional during this COVID time being very careful and wearing masks.  Again they were all excellent, very nice and certainly deserve the full 5 stars!

I wish I had read more reviews before hiring Eddie. Unfortunately I didn't get to the ones about him overcharging.  I hired him to provide and replace 2 outside motion sensor lights, repair an outdoor junction box and replace a dimmer switch in one of the bedrooms. All simple stuff. He was there for 1 hour and 45 minutes and charged $1680. That includes $95 dollars for a dimmer switch and $45 for an LED lightbulb. He didn't list the price of the the outside lights on the invoice but assuming they were $80 each that is $1360 for labor - or about $700 an hour. He charged $295 to show up (and $65 for travel) and then $295 for each thing he did, no matter how small eg  replace a dimmer switch.

I was so stunned I paid him, but then I began to feel very ripped off.  I texted him and told him that and he called. He reduced the price to $1000 and said he would send me a check. The check never arrived. I texted him again. This time he sent me the $680 via Venmo. I still ended up paying $1000 for a job that should have cost far less. It also caused me a lot of unnecessary stress. Not recommended.

Phenomenal service, super responsive, beautiful results. Costs ended up about $800 higher than I'd expected but given the collaboration, the great design support and the excellent customer service, I'm happy.
