We truly believe in a family owned and operated business. Our owner and operator, Brian, is a master plumber, which he has held a licensee in the state of Deleware and master license in the state of Arizona with 30 years of industry experience.   Brian has been in the valley since 2005
Brian specializes in leak location, sewer replacements and he started water treatment for the largest plunging company in Arizona,  before starting his company in 2014 he has spent many years perfecting his craft and is also in the field everyday helping customers.  He excels in problem solving outside of the box.  With having attention to details.

Outstanding service. Very responsive and honest. Our tech Clayton Severson, quickly identified the problem and explained my options. He gave me a quote before starting any work which was very reasonable. He also explained some other issues I could be having in the future, and gave me quotes for those. Zero pressure and outstanding service. I have finally found an honest plumber that I will use for the rest of my life.

Water heater stopped working and within an hour of calling they sent someone out to help us on a Saturday. No extra charge or anything. 4 hours later I'm taking a hot shower with no problems. Thank you Jesse for making this experience so smooth!!!

Had a water heater start leaking and discovered at 6am. At 7, when they opened, I was able to speak with Second Opinion and get an appointment for that day between 2-4.  Justin called me at 11:30 letting me know he was ahead and asked if I was available for him to come at 12.  He showed up at 12 got the work done and I wouldn't have ever known it had been switched out.  He was friendly, didn't leave any mess behind and his communication was excellent.  Would highly recommend.

Needed my coils cleaned after a remodel project. Austin from Second Opinion plumbing was fast, knowledgeable and showed up on time (even during the busy summer season!). Couldn't beat the level of service for the price. Would recommend for AC maintenance or repair.

Our kitchen suddenly backed up Thursday night and after my brief troubleshooting fou d the issue to be further down the drain and decided to get a professional to look at it. Called these guys Friday morning and they were able to schedule a person to come in later that afternoon to see if they can assess the problem and unclog whatever was built up in the pipes. I think the first guys name was Aaron, one of the owner's son, but he was super friendly and honest about prices and everything. He tried to unclog the pipe but unfortunately could not with the tools he had in his truck for the day. He was able to get someone out this morning on short notice. Charlie was the 2nd guy and he was also super friendly. All in all due to the problem we had, we had to go with water jetting but it wasnt a sales scheme where he was pushing it on me. Water jetting got the job done and when Charlie realized ths cap for our outdoor pour wouldnt work anymore, he went to Home Depot and bought a working cap all on his own. Appreciate the quality of work done here and will definitely repeat if we have any more problems in the future!

Imaging it's 4 days before thanksgiving and you're about to host about 30 out of town guest when your plumbing backs up into multiple toilets the day your guest are arriving. We'll, this happened to me - on a Sunday no less. I was freaking out!  I called second opinion plumbing and Clayton came to our house on a Sunday and fixed our clogged septic system. Thank you so much to second opinion plumbing for your fast response and amazing service. You saved my thanksgiving!!

Our home was built in the 70's. When we decided to get a new refrigerator I wanted to make sure being the princess that I am  that we would have ice and water available.

Anyone who knows anything about water in Arizona knows we have hard water and pipes break. Well this happened when my hubby went to change out the fixture. Thankfully he's smart and had the water turned off.  See picture for visual. So now the hunt is on for a plumber.

Second opinion over-exceeded my expectations! From the time I called in and spoke with Nikki, She told me she'd have someone call me back. I heard back from Second Opinion Plumbing technician within 15 minutes that he was ten minutes out. Wowzers...thank you!!

Now I hold my breath as I wait for the estimate knowing that the plumbing is broken behind the wall. Clayton gave me the estimated costs up front for a total of $285, and I had a $50 off coupon. Yes please and thank you! Clayton completed the job within an hour and cleaned up afterwards.

On every aspect of this experience, we give this company 5+ stars -- the speed of response, the quality of the work, the professionalism and care of the technician.

We have tried several plumbers over the years, but we have finally found a plumbing company that we can feel 100% confident about. We are loyal customers moving forward.

I called Ryan today @ 3:00 pm, told him the details of my non working hot water heater.  Ryan informed me of what the problem was but stated that he probably would not be able to pick up the part before the wholesalers closed, and would be out 1st thing in the morning.  Ryan sensed the apprehension of my chattering teeth from taking a cold shower, and he said let me call you back in 5 minutes.  In less than 5, he said he was able to find the part and would be at my home by 4:15 pm (1 hr 15 min from my 1st call).  Sure enough, by 4:15 Ryan arrived, was very cordial and extremely informative.  By 5:00 pm he had the repair completed, gave me a quick primer on how to drain the unit (while actually doing the draining!!) and even added a pvc assembly that was forgotten in the original installation at NO CHARGE!!  The  area was left far cleaner than when he started, I was charged a very reasonable price, and am now swimming in hot water!!

They came in and finished a kitchen sink replacement when running the drain pipe went beyond what I could do on my own.  The tech, Charles, was very proficient in finishing the job.  After how good he did on the first visit, I hired Second Opinion Plumbing, with the same tech, to replace a toilet as well.  Charles did just as good of a job as the first time.  Everything works well, no leaks, no issues.  What more could one ask for?

They were actually my third opinion in getting a quote to replace our toilet and their prices were so reasonable we had them install a faucet for us as well. The tech who came out was friendly and professional.
Next time we need plumbing work done, they'll be our first call.

Called on a Wednesday to make an appointment for Friday morning when we would next be home, which luckily for us was also the first appointment of the day. The VP of plumbing ops came out and he was able to assess the problem, go get the part and get the toilet connected and fixed within the hour. Will use again if needed, hopefully we wont!

They came out the same day and had us fixed up in no time. We had a frozen pipe that cracked and we lost water to the house. Ryan was extremely helpful and told us the long term solution to the bigger issue we had.

My showerhead broke behind the wall. I had quick and professional service from this business.

Had them install a few faucets and change a reverse osmosis filter. Very prompt and professional. They came out and gave a quote and performed the work the same day. We had a small leak under the sink of the new faucet and the promptly came back out and fixed the issue. Very good service and will definitely use them again for other projects.

Got terrible leaking from garage ceiling and only two of the 5-6 plumbers bothered to get into the little and dusty water heater room  to check the hot water lines as well as drain pipes. While all the others focused only on drain pipes, Kyle was the only one opening up the insulation wool that wrapped the hot water lines and uncover a location of leakage that nobody noticed before. I paid whatever he charged for repairing it, because his detailed-oriented and smart work saved big money for me, without which, my insurance company probably won't cover any mitigation or restoration from drain pipes. But I didn't hire him to repair the cracked drain pipes for his estimate is 2 times higher than the others, on which, I believe that he has no control.

Had an issue replacing a cartridge for my bathtub, resulting in having to turn off water to the house late on a Sunday.  Called Second Opinion, and they had someone out first thing the next morning.  Charles was fantastic. Professional and friendly, and he explained each step of the fix, so that I could do attempt it myself if I ever needed to.  Price was reasonable and the work is warrantied.  VERY happy with this experience.  Will definitely use this company again.

We just got a misting system installed by Nick. He gave us the original estimate so he knew exactly what to do. He was on time , courteous, knowledgeable, a true professional.
We were referred to 2nd Opinion by a friend that had them install a misting system 3 years ago. He loves the system and was beyond happy with the service he received as are we.

I have called Ryan for a number of jobs. He is a terrific plumber--very knowledge, on time, tells you like it is and doesn't try to get you to have more work done than you need. He also works quick, and is a bit of a perfectionist. He has undone some shoddy work just because he likes it done right. The price is right and the work exact, so why would you use any other company? Plus, I love using small businesses that have a big stake in doing their best for their customers.

Spoke with the owner who was knowledgeable and answered my laundry list of questions. Originally I called for tankless and through our conversation I realized that as a single person, the product not be the best purchase due to recooping costs and a conventional unit would be my best option in und long run. He could've talked me out of it to make more money but he didn't.

Technician arrived today and I've never seen someone bust their hump as he did, Jesse was also professional and cleaned up which is totally respectable. Some contractors leave a mess behind  and what a pain to clean up after someone else.

I'd highly recommend this company!

Ryan was great!!! Saw the truck in my neighborhood and he came by as soon as he finished that call. Was a simple issue  that was fixed immediately and he educated me on how to make sure doesn't happen again. Thankful for his quick response and knowledge.

They are awesome!! 2nd time I had to call them and both times very professional, friendly.  This time one of owners took my call and walked me through on where and how to turn off my water outside then showed up to turn off running bath tub water and helped explained why bath faucets wouldn't turn off. Arrived sooner then ETA and couldnt have been more pleased!!!

My mom needed a plumber , didn't want her to be fooled by the ol up-sell tactic that most companies do... I stumbled across this company on yelp! She made the call- they came and fixed the problem the next day. 1 week later my mother in law needed a plumber! Again , I called these guys and they came out and fixed the problem the next day. Didn't try to inflate the price , no bologna kind of service!!! Then unfortunately, 3 days later WE needed a plumber. ( our shower was barely trickling when the hot water was on.) fearing the worst I had them come out and they handled it! Also so happy with the price we ended up purchasing a new delta lifetime warranty shower kit! And had it installed! I work for a company that relies solely on customer reviews and I know good service these days is truly hard to find! We gave this company three different jobs within 1 months time (hoping I don't need them for a LONG TIME! Good job, thanks for being honest (especially with my mom and mother in law-- as they are elderly)

This is one of those great companies that you wish you would come across more often. Received a call the same day I requested a call back and setup visit for next day. The called me 1 hour before they arrived asking if it was ok if they arrived 30 minutes earlier. When Justin arrived he quickly helped with our project and emailed me a quote when he will need to return to complete the project. We will continue to use this company for all of our plumbing needs.

I called Second Opinion, funny enough, to get a second opinion. The dispatcher set me up with a next day appointment. I wanted a hot water heater flush and a filter change on my RO system.
The guys came out at the appointed time and retooled my water heater so I would be able to do the flush myself from now on and then did the flush, to show me how to do  it, while I watched. I can  guarantee that most plumbers would not do this, instead they would want me to call them every year.

I showed them my RO system and they weren't familiar with the filters. They looked it up on the internet and found that the company who makes the system is located in Tempe. They demonstrated how I could change the filters myself and said I'd save money by going and getting the filters from Tempe and doing the job myself. Who does that? They could have gone and done it and charged me and instead they taught me how to do it myself and save a lot of money!

They put together an estimate for converting my electric water heater to a tankless gas water heater, right there on the spot. I'll be saving my money to get this done and they'll get my business!

I will ALWAYS call Second Opinion Plumbing but from now on, I'll call them FIRST!

You will not be sorry if you call them too!

Charles Harvey of Second Opinion Plumbing & Air came out to assess and fix a leak we had in our main water box. He is such an honest person he simply tightened something that was loose. City of Mesa was out the day prior, not sure why it wasn't tightened up then. I highly recommend Second Opinion and will definitely call them again.

I was looking for a handyman to install a couple of faucets in two bathrooms and put back together the baths the other handyman left asunder.

I didn't use second opinion but am rating them a 4 because Clayton called back within a couple of hours.  He was professional and was ready to schedule the work timely. Sadly when I gave him the address he informed me they don't come to the west side of the valley.

In my book however this is a business that takes their business seriously. I haven't a doubt I would've had the work done right and timely.

If ever I'm in need again for an east valley home I will be sure to give them a call.

I cannot say enough great things about Second Opinion Plumbing and Air! We have unfortunately bought a house from a do-it-yourselfer who should not have done it himself. On top of that, the home inspector was absolutely worthless; missing many, many issues. Since buying the house almost two years ago, we had been using our home warranty company to try to fix our laundry list of issues, but always with subpar results. Their contractors were only putting band-aids on things, not fixing any real issues.  We finally got fed up and decided to bypass our home warranty company and call Second Opinion- for a second opinion. They were fantastic! Always patiently explaining our options and walking us through the steps along the way. They were able to fix our hot water heater, water softener, and our two a/c air handler units among other things. Thanks to Second Opinion Plumbing, I feel like we are finally whipping this house into shape.  The guys were always on time, excellent about cleaning up their messes and definitely fair with their prices.  They performed top quality work and always seemed to give it their all.  They are so pleasant to work with and will always be our number one go-to for plumbing or air conditioning from now on!!

Second Opinion helped us with the repair of a leak under our slab a couple of weeks ago.  They weren't the cheapest but definitely were not the most expensive quote we received.  Given their responsiveness and experience they were definitely worth the cost and I will use them again in the future.  

Jesse was the plumber that helped us out.  He was very professional and courteous and hardworking.  He was at our home for approximately 11 hours as he had to re-route the existing line with the leak from underground through the attic.  While at the house he also replaced some valves on our water heater & softener that were corroded and gave us tips for the future.  Really appreciate their timeliness and professionalism.  Thanks guys.

I cannot speak highly enough about Second Opinion.  I contacted them for an estimate to replace 28-year-old polybutylene piping in a two-story home with more resilient PEX and add a new water softener. Their estimate ended up being more reasonable than two competitors. Kyle also identified and explained other issues that had been jerry-rigged by the former owners and needed correction.

Once the work was scheduled, Tawny in the Second Opinion office was always quick to communicate or answer any questions. The courteous four-person team who performed the work didn't stop for two days. They use their time and yours efficiently.

In the course of performing the work, Kyle also found a serious venting issue with the HVAC air handler in the attic that presented a carbon monoxide risk.  He fixed it that day at no additional cost.

These folks are professional craftsmen who know their business. I plan to use them for any and all future plumbing needs and recommend them to family members and friends.

Austin did an amazing job on some minor repair work issue we were having. He was honest and professional throughout. A hot water heater recommendation call back was received even though no business opportunity existed right now. Impressive.

FYI the recommendation was to go with gas tankless since gas tank heaters are expected to be phased out.

Beyond exceptional! We had a slab leak under our kitchen area, involving our water heater. Chris Cartem was our assigned plumber. He was punctual, personable, professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful and by far, superior to the other plumbers we had out to evaluate. Best part, the repair cost was less than the other 2 bids we received. Chris even took an additional amount off after determining the repair did not require as much work as initially estimated-amazingly honest. We were impressed with his integrity.

I had my garbage disposal moved from my left sink to the right. Someone had told me if I did this it would always leak so I held off til I couldn't stand it anymore.  Justin moved it and no leaks.  He also changed the filers in my water filtering system and moved the tank so I had waaaay more room under the sink.  He arrived on time and is an easy going guy a pleasure to have in your home.  I would definitely recommend them not only for your second opinion but also your first!

Second opinion installed a soft water loop & water softener for me. I had a kenmore at my last house, which i thought was good. However now that I have the one this company installed i now know what a great water softener is. I could immediately tell a difference in my water & laundry. My hair feels great!

Our water softener quit and I called for them to come out and assess the issue. They came the next day and told us it could not be fixed and gave an estimate for a new unit. The he call was free, and the service guy was great.

I called these guys as they were referred by a friend. They were prompt and professional and able to come out right away. Brandon and Kyle were the two plumbers that came out to my house. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and explained the different options I had.

They were able to get the work completed, and did an awesome job. I couldn't be happier.

I now have a go to plumber in the area and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or refer them to friends and family.

My hot water heater ruptured on a Sunday night and I called this company for assistance based on reviews. From my first contact with Ryan, I knew I made the right decision to go with Second Opinion Plumbing. Despite waking him up, he was very pleasant and helpful, making sure I knew all of the steps to take to stop further damage to my dry wall. He came out first thing the following morning and was able to get me a new water heater right away. He also explained everything I needed to do to maintain the new water heater and made a great recommendation for a restoration company. I had other plumbing questions while Ryan was here and he was so patient and helpful in explaining and actually showing me things that I can do on my own to keep everything in my home working well. I'm really grateful for this positive experience and wouldn't hesitate to use Second Opinion Plumbing again!

The drains in my home have been getting backed up off and on lately.  I wasn't too concerned at first.  However, it was starting I happen more frequently.  That had me worried.  I stayed up really late last night just thinking about it.  Then I was really worried.  I called Second Opinion Plumbing at around 3am this morning.  I expected a voicemail or a forwarding service.  Instead, I got the boss.  I felt bad for waking him.  He was really cool though.  He asked me a few questions and made an initial diagnosis.  He also made an appointment and gave me a competitive quote over the phone.  He said that he'd have a guy at my place between 10am and 12pm.  Justin arrived at about 10:30am.  He was super friendly and I felt confident that he was gonna get me fixed up.  Justin took care of a clog in my main sewer line.  He also explained what had caused it.  The best part, the price quoted was the price that I paid.  These guys have earned my business.  Give them a chance to earn yours and you won't be disappointed.

I had a few complicated faucet and tub fixture installations that needed to be done at my condo and didn't have the confidence to DIY it. So I called Second Opinion on a Thursday morning at 11 and the plumber, Chris arrived at 12:30PM and began work immediately. They completed the job the following morning, cleaned up once work was complete, and even tidied up some mistakes from a past plumber. Highly recommend Second Opinion!

My air conditioner is an older one and this summer it has broken down twice! Austin Painter is the technician that has been to my house each time! The young man is professional, and personable! So far we've replaced the exhaust and indoor feed fans on the unit. Hopefully that will be it for this summer! I highly recommend this company and Austin for outstanding work. I honestly believe I received value for my investment in this older system. I'm currently taking bids on replacing the system but second opinion will always have my business!

I was out of town this past week when the hot water heater went out.  My wife called # on tank to have company come out.  This was a big name chain company (Also one of our founding fathers, hint, hint). House is only 3 years old, so expected to be covered.  The company that came out was prompt and courteous, but completely tried to oversell my wife with replacement tankless water heater, new water softener/carbon filter, and update to our R/O system.  They quoted nearly $9,000 to do it all.  I told my wife to hold off and wait until I got home.

I looked up other local plumbers when I returned and found Second Opinion.  I thought this was the perfect name given that is what I was looking for.  I contacted and heard back from Ryan (Owner) right away.  He was here within 2 hours.  His assessment was similar to other, but stated we had a number of options and also there was no need to replace water softener.  We could get parts for current tank and would be fixed for about $500.  That would take a few days to get the parts because of the BTU of our tank.  He could replace with new tank for about $2200 (other company was $3400).  Or he could put in new tankless for $3400 (other company was $6700).  He also offered to replace filters in R/O at No Charge if we went with him.  We also discussed the whole home carbon system and decided to go with that as well.  

So we ended up getting the new tankless water heater, whole home carbon system, and upgraded R/O for half the cost of the competitor.  It was also completely done in the same day.  

Bottom line is always get a Second Opinion.  Ask for Ryan as he was thorough and straight forward.  We will use them again for future plumbing needs.

I made a mistake and hired a different company to do a toilet install and they made a bigger mess. Justin was my plumbing warrior and literally saved me a much bigger headache of having to cut drywall etc by his knowledge and expertise. He is a rockstar; Thank you a million times over! We had a clogged up kitchen sink...it was very frustrating!! We tried to plunge the standing water away with no success.  So I called Second Opinion Plumbing and even though they were very busy, they squeezed us in for that afternoon!!!

Charles did a great job fixing a leak we had under our sink. He even fixed our waterline to our fridge that wasn't set up right. We are so thankful Second Opion Plumbing was able to come out on the weekend to fix the leak. I love that they are available seven days a week and do not charge extra. Had a water heater start leaking and discovered at 6am. At 7, when they opened, I was able to speak with Second Opinion and get an appointment for that day between 2-4.  Justin called me at 11:30 letting me know he was ahead and asked if I was available for him to come at 12.  He showed up at 12 got the work done and I wouldn't have ever known it had been switched out.  He was friendly, didn't leave any mess behind and his communication was excellent.  Would highly recommend.

I emailed Second Opinion late at night and very early the following morning I received a call regarding a hot water heater repair that was needed. The little bit of information I provided gave them a good idea of what was wrong and sure enough, they diagnosed it accurately (broken pressure valve).

The tech arrived, determined immediately what the issue was and began working on the repair. The repair was done quickly, the work was done professionally and all was fixed. Great work and recommended!

The best customer service!  Trevor E. came out today to assist us with a clog in the main line.  Trevor was patient, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable.   We will have to have some repair work for a cracked pipe under the driveway, and the owner Brian has given us a quote.  These gentlemen have been exceptional, and they take the time to answer all our questions!  While it is no fun to have this kind of plumbing issue, we are grateful to have found such an excellent place to do our repairs.

All we knew was that a couple of the floor tiles would get hot, signalling a likely leak down below.  I had two companies come in that were sent by the home warranty company.  Both were saying different things, though both seemed to think the solution involved tearing up my floors and costing me a fortune.  And with a $2k max on the home warranty.  I found Second Opinion Plumbing on Yelp, and figured I needed a second opinion.  Brian came and immediately gained my trust.  Long story short is that we went his recommendation to reroute behind the wall, without having to tear up tile.  Reroute he did, and it was an awesome job, right on budget, at a very reasonable price.  It's good to know I've got a great plumber now, if and when I need some more work done.  He's got my solid recommendation.

Just had the speediest,most professional plumbing job! My kitchen sink was draining very, very slowly on the Friday afternoon before Memorial Day weekend.  I did not want to pay for an emergency response so cooking was kept at a bare minimum throughout the weekend.  On Monday I called, spoke to Jesse, & set up an appointment for Tuesday.  Justin called earlier than the 3:00 p.m. appointment to let me know he was available to come earlier.  He arrived, snaked the pipe from under the sink a couple of times and alas............success!  He was very pleasant and cleaned up after himself.  I was very pleased!  The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that Jesse told me it would be around $150 if they could get to the clog from under the sink.  If there was a problem encountered and they had to go on the roof to access the drain from the vent pipe it would cost more.  I was charged $195 even though the clog was cleared from under the sink. I asked why the difference, but the explanation didn't make sense to me.

Family night was saved!
We found out we had a clogged sewage line, probably due to the amount of people doing their business, because the toilets backed up. This never happened before so we went down the line of plumbing companies on Yelp, looking for someone to help us around 9PM at night, but they all quoted 3-4 hours out. We finally reached Kyle here at Second Opinion Plumbing and he said 30 min-1 hr! Kyle came over, gave us the low-down, and BAM! toilets and kids were happy once again. He even said he will come back to take pictures inside the sewage line to show us what possibly happened. The price wasn't overpriced at all. Thanks a lot Kyle! Got terrible leaking from garage ceiling and only two of the 5-6 plumbers bothered to get into the little and dusty water heater room  to check the hot water lines as well as drain pipes. While all the others focused only on drain pipes, Kyle was the only one opening up the insulation wool that wrapped the hot water lines and uncover a location of leakage that nobody noticed before. I paid whatever he charged for repairing it, because his detailed-oriented and smart work saved big money for me, without which, my insurance company probably won't cover any mitigation or restoration from drain pipes. But I didn't hire him to repair the cracked drain pipes for his estimate is 2 times higher than the others, on which, I believe that he has no control.

These guys are great.  Was the seventh company I reached out to on a Sunday when the AC went out at 110.  Got the nice and cold again thanks to Austin our tech.  Price was the best, they went above and beyond, and did I say our AC is working lol.

Second Opinion Plumbing is a breath of fresh air!!  Yesterday I called a plumbing company that had previously done some very good work in my home at what seemed a fair price.  I was unable to speak to anyone, and left a message.  I feel this is concerning, especially if I had had a plumbing emergency, and there was no phone option to state so. However, after 24 hours I had not received a response to my message.  I then turned to Yelp, a site I am very grateful for because I have yet to go wrong with highly rated companies on this site.  Because this company had well deserved 74 five star reviews I called Second Opinion Plumbing late this morning about a broken spigot on my patio.  My hose had frozen onto the 30 year old spigot, which had previously occurred with a different hose about a year ago.  Brian, from Second Opinion Plumbing answered the phone, and I explained the issue and let him know it was not an emergency situation.  I expected that it would be several days before I could get an appointment.  I asked if he could give me a ballpark figure for the cost, which he did.  I had researched the price (national) for spigot replacement, which is $150.00-$300.00, depending on where you live in the country.  I did request a free estimate.  Brian said he was having lunch near my home, and would be over as soon as he was through.  About an hour later he showed up, looked at the problem, and gave me the same price as he quoted over the phone.  Since we had to walk through the laundry room to get to the spigot, he also diagnosed a problem with my clothes dry, an easy fix, for which I am EXTREMELY grateful :)   I believe he would have fixed the dryer problem had I asked, but it is probably something I can do myself. He replaced the spigot, added additional hardware to make it more stable and sturdy, and showed/explained to me that in the future it would be much easier to replace the spigot, if needed.  The final cost was much less than the national average.  The on/off handle on the spigot actually matches the trim paint on my home, maybe just a happy coincidence :)   I feel that Brian and Second Opinion Plumbing are absolutely honest and very reasonably priced, and will call them for other upgrading in plumbing I have been planning to have done, as well as for any emergencies.  I would very highly recommend Second Opinion Plumbing to everyone and, as far as the 1st company I called, well, they have lost my future business. Brian was friendly and professional, and worked quickly and efficiently.  I am very happy to have found an honest plumber, especially after experiencing some horror stories with past plumbers.  I cannot say enough good things about this company!!

I called Second Opinion Plumbing to get a....second opinion. They were recommended to me by a contractor I've used and trusted for some renovations in my home. I spoke with Brian and had him come out to take a look at my 50gal hot water heater that wouldn't work after 10 years of service.

Originally I had my heart set on a tankless unit, and Brian explained everything about tankless units as well as the maintenance they require in the hard water environment of Arizona. It became clear that a tankless unit was not necessary for the usage habits my wife and I have.

Brian explained the issues with the previous hot water tank installation and the incorrect setup of the re-circulation pump that led to issues we had been experiencing since moving in. He made recommendations and gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision on the upcoming investment over the next 20 years.

All in all, I had Brian install a new tank, new re-circulation pump and new water softener. The system is working great and we are appreciative that his insights saved us from potential maintenance nightmares and headaches down the road. Second Opinion Plumbing is now my go-to for plumbing needs.

Our water heater gave out unexpectedly late in the afternoon. I called Second Opinion Plumbing and they sent Kyle to take a look first thing the next morning. Brian is honest and very knowledgeable.   Having dealt with three (3) plumbers in the last four (4) days who were unwilling to help us resolve the problem of acquiring a hot water heater that fits into the footprint of our old one.   He spent time, on a Sunday even, explaining what is going on in the industry and options that are available including complete honesty when asking about tank less.   He will absolutely be my first call from here on out!

Its not often that you call for a leak inspection, get told that your water main is the issue, and that the price to fix it is several thousands of dollars AND have an amazing experience. Second Opinion was reliable, friendly, timely, and professional. They always called before they came and came when they said they would. They had to dig up my front yard to install a new water line and they did it meticulously. The yard doesn't even look like it was cut up at all. They explained everything to me and have a great warranty. I will totally come back to this company in the future. Their price was also reasonable.

I had my garbage disposal moved from my left sink to the right. Someone had told me if I did this it would always leak so I held off til I couldn't stand it anymore.  Justin moved it and no leaks.  He also changed the filers in my water filtering system and moved the tank so I had waaaay more room under the sink.  He arrived on time and is an easy going guy a pleasure to have in your home.  I would definitely recommend them not only for your second opinion but also your first!

I have used Second Opinion Plumbing twice before.  Great experiences on both times.  This week the connector on my solar water heater was leaking.  I called Second Opinion.  The lady who answered the call was so friendly and was able to schedule me to check the leak this morning.  Charles came out and he noticed an O-ring was missing in the connector to cause the leak.  He just put one in and didn't charge me for the part and for coming out.  He also gave me a quote on some new energy saving water heater option in case I need a new one in the future.  I highly recommend them!

Spoke with the owner who was knowledgeable and answered my laundry list of questions. Originally I called for tankless and through our conversation I realized that as a single person, the product not be the best purchase due to recooping costs and a conventional unit would be my best option in und long run. He could've talked me out of it to make more money but he didn't.

Technician arrived today and I've never seen someone bust their hump as he did, Jesse was also professional and cleaned up which is totally respectable. Some contractors leave a mess behind  and what a pain to clean up after someone else.

I'd highly recommend this company!

I had a major explosion of water from faucet.  
Required turning ALL water off to house from street, bypass and solar.
Called every friend and called the guy, then checked
w BBB, all bad reviews. After 12 calls, TV commercial

Second Opinion was out within 90 minutes,
DX problem stated & explain what needed to be done, quoted a price and set a date/time.
At 8 am call/service timely.  By 10 am was doing house

Jesse Sage, is so polite (not bad on the eyes) explain everything in detail, cleaned up and was a total gentleman.

I was looking for a handyman to install a couple of faucets in two bathrooms and put back together the baths the other handyman left asunder.

I didn't use second opinion but am rating them a 4 because Clayton called back within a couple of hours.  He was professional and was ready to schedule the work timely. Sadly when I gave him the address he informed me they don't come to the west side of the valley.

In my book however this is a business that takes their business seriously. I haven't a doubt I would've had the work done right and timely.

If ever I'm in need again for an east valley home I will be sure to give them a call.

They came in and finished a kitchen sink replacement when running the drain pipe went beyond what I could do on my own.  The tech, Charles, was very proficient in finishing the job.  After how good he did on the first visit, I hired Second Opinion Plumbing, with the same tech, to replace a toilet as well.  Charles did just as good of a job as the first time.  Everything works well, no leaks, no issues.  What more could one ask for?

I am so impressed at how quickly Justin was able to get out here and shut off the main valve and fix water that was gushing full blast into my yard.  I felt like I was right out of the movie very bad things because 3 teenagers had a different reason as to why there was chaos.   Any other plumber would have come out here and charged me a fortune and I had just spoken to him earlier today about the other items I needed corrected prior to this disaster.  Justin was calm, friendly and completely cool and he just told me that his guy would be there tomorrow for the regular appointment.  I cannot express how grateful I am for how quickly he was here but also how kind he was.

Have been a home owner for 40 years and have had many many tradesmen for repairs etc.  There isn't a lot of businesses that has as many 5 star reviews as  this company on Yelp, that caught my eye.   I was referred by a neighbor. I called and spoke with Ryan  explained that I may have a leak in the shower wall.  Justin was out in 4 hours. After an hour he was sure that I had no leak that the wet wall was due to over spray from the shower head.  Fearing an expensive plumbing repair I was relieved that there was no leak in the wall, that it was something that occurred over a long period of time that I never noticed.
In true customer service I wasn't charged for the call.  The point of this story is that I have used another plumbing company that I have been happy with since relocating here 5 years ago.  Second chance has won me over with his customer service and will now be my go to plumber. You won't go wrong calling these folks any plumbing needs.

I called Second Opinion Plumbing to get a....second opinion. They were recommended to me by a contractor I've used and trusted for some renovations in my home. I spoke with Brian and had him come out to take a look at my 50gal hot water heater that wouldn't work after 10 years of service.

Originally I had my heart set on a tankless unit, and Brian explained everything about tankless units as well as the maintenance they require in the hard water environment of Arizona. It became clear that a tankless unit was not necessary for the usage habits my wife and I have.

Brian explained the issues with the previous hot water tank installation and the incorrect setup of the re-circulation pump that led to issues we had been experiencing since moving in. He made recommendations and gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision on the upcoming investment over the next 20 years.

All in all, I had Brian install a new tank, new re-circulation pump and new water softener. The system is working great and we are appreciative that his insights saved us from potential maintenance nightmares and headaches down the road. Second Opinion Plumbing is now my go-to for plumbing needs.

Austin is the best service/repair guy I have ever encountered in all the years I have rented and owned a home. Very professional and patient. My wife was literally looking for a 2nd opinion when she found Second Opinion Plumbing! Charles Harvey of Second Opinion Plumbing & Air came out to assess and fix a leak we had in our main water box. He is such an honest person he simply tightened something that was loose. City of Mesa was out the day prior, not sure why it wasn't tightened up then. I highly recommend Second Opinion and will definitely call them again.

Second Opinion helped us with the repair of a leak under our slab a couple of weeks ago.  They weren't the cheapest but definitely were not the most expensive quote we received.  Given their responsiveness and experience they were definitely worth the cost and I will use them again in the future.  

Jesse was the plumber that helped us out.  He was very professional and courteous and hardworking.  He was at our home for approximately 11 hours as he had to re-route the existing line with the leak from underground through the attic.  While at the house he also replaced some valves on our water heater & softener that were corroded and gave us tips for the future.  Really appreciate their timeliness and professionalism.  Thanks guys.

Beyond exceptional! We had a slab leak under our kitchen area, involving our water heater. Chris Cartem was our assigned plumber. He was punctual, personable, professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful and by far, superior to the other plumbers we had out to evaluate. Best part, the repair cost was less than the other 2 bids we received. Chris even took an additional amount off after determining the repair did not require as much work as initially estimated-amazingly honest. We were impressed with his integrity.

Ryan flat out knows his stuff. His overall expertise and knowledge of plumbing and beyond is second to none. I was having an issue with my water heater yesterday so I called my home warranty and they would not send anyone out to my house until the next business day since it was not a true emergency. I have tenants with small children living at the property and needed the water heater fixed asap. A good friend of mine referred me to Second Opinion Plumbing. I called them last night around 7:15pm and was greeted by a warm welcoming voice eager to help me with my water heater issue. I briefly gave him the rundown on what was going on and with no hesitation he asked for my address and said he would be over in 20 minutes. The technician was able to fix my water heater within 15-20 mins of being there. He also took the time to show me what the problem was and explained ways on how I could help this issue from happening again in the future. I was left with excellent service from an outstanding technician who gives pretty solid high fives on the way out the door.

I would HIGHLY recommend Second Opinion Plumbing to everyone in the area with hopes they are able to work with Justin who was the top notch technician who came to my rescue with such short notice. Not only does Justin come with lots of knowledge & great plumbing skills, he also has a VERY IMPRESSIVE beard! I would totally add 5 more stars to this review just in honor of his beard.

We moved into a new house over the weekend and discovered that our tankless water heater was not working. The friendly dispatch coordinator called back within the hour, gave us advice on how we might reboot the system, and then scheduled service for us when the reboot did not work.

Our technician, Charles H., was super helpful. He quickly diagnosed the issue, provided a short-term fix, and came back the following day with a necessary part. He was patient and helpful with our questions on other parts of our water system (softener, filtration, heating). More importantly, he fixed our issue efficiently and responded to our questions with options on how to upgrade our filtration/softening system without upselling.

We will definitely call Second Opinion Plumbing again (and request Charles).

My hot water heater ruptured on a Sunday night and I called this company for assistance based on reviews. From my first contact with Ryan, I knew I made the right decision to go with Second Opinion Plumbing. Despite waking him up, he was very pleasant and helpful, making sure I knew all of the steps to take to stop further damage to my dry wall. He came out first thing the following morning and was able to get me a new water heater right away. He also explained everything I needed to do to maintain the new water heater and made a great recommendation for a restoration company. I had other plumbing questions while Ryan was here and he was so patient and helpful in explaining and actually showing me things that I can do on my own to keep everything in my home working well. My air conditioner is an older one and this summer it has broken down twice! Austin Painter is the technician that has been to my house each time! The young man is professional, and personable! So far we've replaced the exhaust and indoor feed fans on the unit. Hopefully that will be it for this summer! I highly recommend this company and Austin for outstanding work. I needed the water shut off for my fridge water line replaced. The old one was leaking and could not be shut off. They scheduled me for the next day and contacted me that day earlier than scheduled to see if they could come over early! Yes! Kyle promptly evaluated the problem, gave me a very good quote and then replaced the shut-off valve. This was not a standard compression shut-off valve that you can buy at Home Depot or Lowes, otherwise I would have done this myself. He had the correct part on his truck and was done in no time at all. I will use Second Opinion Plumbing again! They are family owned and operated.

These guys are brilliant! True class act! We recently purchased a new home and needed to get some quotes on a few projects. We called a few companies and they either didn't do one thing or only did the other. They are wonderful and fast. They don't EVER try to sell you something that you don't need.  They came the same day we called. They even instructed my husband how to make some small repairs and how to make future problem checks. We live paycheck to paycheck and they were so understanding and respectful about it. Second Opinion Plumbing did an excellent job on doing a difficult project fixing our sanitary sewer line which was 10 feet deep. They were thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and very reasonable.  My husband has been in the engineering and construction  of waste water systems for 46 years and watched their work.  He says they are among the best he has seen.

In true customer service I wasn't charged for the call.  The point of this story is that I have used another plumbing company that I have been happy with since relocating here 5 years ago.  Second chance has won me over with his customer service and will now be my go to plumber. Just had the speediest,most professional plumbing job! Called around 2:15 pm,with broken valve from icemaker,spoke with Ryan,he was extremely pleasant and answered all my concerns.15 minutes later received call from Justin,the plumber to do my job.He was here in another 15 minutes! He was extremely pleasant,and a very competent plumber. Family night was saved!
We found out we had a clogged sewage line, probably due to the amount of people doing their business, because the toilets backed up. This never happened before so we went down the line of plumbing companies on Yelp, looking for someone to help us around 9PM at night, but they all quoted 3-4 hours out. We finally reached Kyle here at Second Opinion Plumbing and he said 30 min-1 hr! Kyle came over, gave us the low-down, and BAM! toilets and kids were happy once again. He even said he will come back to take pictures inside the sewage line to show us what possibly happened. The price wasn't overpriced at all. Thanks a lot Kyle! We will definitely keep your card and recommend Second Chance Plumbing to people in our area.

After my property management company dropped the ball on a leaking main that I reported two weeks prior; and the debacle of a company called JB Water, Second Opinion came in and not only did the work at a fair price but very quickly. Kyle was not only earlier than expected at quoting the work, he immediately got to work to remedy the major underground leak. Not all companies are equal and Second Opinion proved that with their quality and response.

Called Second Opinion Plumbing on Saturday around 9am to report a leak outside the house.  Charles arrived within 90 minutes and quickly diagnosed the problem as a defective pressure value breaker.  My lawn sprinkler stopped working a day or two before the leak was discovered.  Charles explained to me that the pressure valve breaker was preventing the sprinkler from turning on.  Sure enough, after replacing the part, the leak stopped, and the sprinkler turned on.  It feels like I got two repairs for the price of one.   I watched as Charles completed the repair, and he explained what he was doing and why.  Nobody likes having to deal with repairs, but Charles and Second Opinion Plumbing made the process quick and stress free.

I requested an estimate on a kitchen faucet with garbage disposal install and a repair on the faucet hot water line. I like that Tawny gave me a ballpark amount other companies wouldn't give me any idea until they sent someone. Day of service Adrian came out gave me a total price and got the work done efficiently. Didn't try to annoyingly up-sale me on everything like Parker & Son's does. I might just be going back to these folks for other service issues.

Did this plumber actually call me to update on time of arrival for repairs!!!!  These folks really understand customer service.  Not only respectful interactions, but amazing work performance.  They assess the issues using state-of-the-art technology (yes, even plumbing has advanced tools), but they work with focus, diligence and thoroughness.  They truly strive to solve plumbing problems, and to get it right the first time.  They made great suggestions for how to avoid problems in the future.  Second Opinion Plumbing is my first choice.

Brian @ second opinion plumbing is the only plumber I trust to give me an honest answer, a fair price and watch out for the best interest of the costumer.

A few months ago my water heater expansion tank burst and Brian was here to answer all questions and helped me promptly set up a mitigation company to get it dried out.

Fast forward two/three months a new leak due to old brittle pipping in my bathroom. Brian answered all my questions, came out promptly and makes sure to go out of his way to explain what is going on to your company/contractors or anyone else via telephone.

Second Opinion plumbing is truly the best! Won't go to anyone else and recommend them to all!

Wold give negative 5 stars if I could. Had to kick the guy off my property because he found it nessary to argue with me about what I could and could not afford. Not acceptable behavior or service. Do not call these people and expect anything but some jerk telling you that you have to buy something from them that you told them when you made the appointment that you were not going to be able to afford at this time. So only call these horrible people if you want to be made to feel like crap about not being able to afford 1000$ worth of toilets from them unacceptable no excuse. Worst service of anything ever

Got home last night to find out my water spigot was broken. Couldn't turn the water off. Had to turn the water main off and no water last night. Called this morning at 6:30 a.m.. I was having an issue with my water heater yesterday so I called my home warranty and they would not send anyone out to my house until the next business day since it was not a true emergency. I have tenants with small children living at the property and needed the water heater fixed asap. A good friend of mine referred me to Second Opinion Plumbing. I called them last night around 7:15pm and was greeted by a warm welcoming voice eager to help me with my water heater issue. I briefly gave him the rundown on what was going on and with no hesitation he asked for my address and said he would be over in 20 minutes. The technician was able to fix my water heater within 15-20 mins of being there. He also took the time to show me what the problem was and explained ways on how I could help this issue from happening again in the future. I was left with excellent service from an outstanding technician who gives pretty solid high fives on the way out the door.

I would HIGHLY recommend Second Opinion Plumbing to everyone in the area with hopes they are able to work with Justin who was the top notch technician who came to my rescue with such short notice. Not only does Justin come with lots of knowledge & great plumbing skills, he also has a VERY IMPRESSIVE beard! I would totally add 5 more stars to this review just in honor of his beard.

We had a leaking water main at our home that was flooding our front yard. We had a plumber tell us they would have to replace the whole line at a cost of several thousands of dollars. When I needed a second opinion, I was glad to find Second Opinion Plumbing! They responded quickly and, instead of sending me a ridiculous estimate via email, went right to work digging down to the leak. It was repaired that same morning at a fraction of the price of the first estimate! This was a messy, muddy, labor intensive job. When my son got out of the shower this morning, the water was gushing full-blast after being turned all the way off. We had to shut off the main water valve and hope someone could come out ASAP to help.

Purchased a tankless hot water heater last year and Second Opinion plumbing installed it within days. Very happy with the unit. We had an error on the unit popup a few times and Second Opinion Plumbing was quick to respond and resolve the issues. We were so pleased with the level of service that we asked them to install a filter on the water going to the tankless heater. A special shout out to their tech, Charles Harvey, who was very professional, knowledgeable, and provided great customer service. He explained everything and got everything running perfectly at no cost to us since they have a 2-year warranty (parts and labor) directly from the company. I would definitely recommend this company. Not the most expensive and not the least expensive but their customer service is great. We're very happy and will continue to use them in the future.

These guys are brilliant! True class act! We recently purchased a new home and needed to get some quotes on a few projects. We called a few companies and they either didn't do one thing or only did the other. Well Second Opinion Plumbing offered us EVERY option that I needed and came in with a broad spectrum of ideas that blew me away. They are truly a one stop shop plumbing company and met up with my estimated costs. Here is what we  had them install. We had them install a new water softener, an additional RO system with a black/gold faucet for our drinking water, and a high pressure misting system fan for the patio. Best plumbers in the valley. They are quick to respond and reasonably priced. True professionals. I have had 2 issues since I moved into my house and they helped me out both times. 1st time was a roof tile in the drain pipe and the second time my friends kid must have flushed something he shouldn't have. Huge thanks to Brian and Ryan and for their fast and fantastic repair of our exterior water pressure regulator. After an unexpected blow of the cheap builder installation, we had no water to the house and a huge flood in our front yard. Ryan, from Second Opinion Plumbing and Air, is a must call. Not only can you expect not to get gouged, but the responsiveness and quality of work will be 'SECOND TO NONE.' Even on Sunday!

I had a couple small leaks - after soldering our copper lines for our tub and shower - and I needed help immediately due to the open water lines. Called Ryan on a Sunday at 9:30a. Justin was terrific. My renter had a broken washer valve. I'm decently handy, shut off the renter's water, but during the replacement I dropped the new valve down the overflow drain! With no experience in that, I Yelped a highly rated plumber and Second Opinion was up to the task. They came out in just a couple hours, the renter praised Justin's expertise, and the cost was pretty good for an emergency call + unexpected drain trap excavation. Highly recommended! Jacob came over today to diagnose a problem that's been going for years, a leak originating from the bathroom upstairs making its way down to the ceiling on our kitchen. He cut the drywall and after that ran the water in the tub and it slowly started dripping. He was able to pinpoint that it was a recent badly installed tub spout with a corroded pipe that was causing the leak. Jacob was very professional, transparent and honest and I learned a few things just from talking to him and he consequently cleaned up. The time and thoroughness he took to take care of the problem was refreshing to see and the invoice charge was reasonable. i would definitely highly recommend Second Opinion for any plumbing needs and will use them again.

I was out of town this past week when the hot water heater went out.  My wife called # on tank to have company come out.  This was a big name chain company (Also one of our founding fathers, hint, hint). House is only 3 years old, so expected to be covered.  The company that came out was prompt and courteous, but completely tried to oversell my wife with replacement tankless water heater, new water softener/carbon filter, and update to our R/O system.  They quoted nearly $9,000 to do it all.  I told my wife to hold off and wait until I got home.

I looked up other local plumbers when I returned and found Second Opinion.  I thought this was the perfect name given that is what I was looking for.  I contacted and heard back from Ryan (Owner) right away.  He was here within 2 hours.  His assessment was similar to other, but stated we had a number of options and also there was no need to replace water softener.  We could get parts for current tank and would be fixed for about $500.  That would take a few days to get the parts because of the BTU of our tank.  He could replace with new tank for about $2200 (other company was $3400).  Or he could put in new tankless for $3400 (other company was $6700).  He also offered to replace filters in R/O at No Charge if we went with him.  We also discussed the whole home carbon system and decided to go with that as well.  

So we ended up getting the new tankless water heater, whole home carbon system, and upgraded R/O for half the cost of the competitor.  It was also completely done in the same day.  

Bottom line is always get a Second Opinion.  Ask for Ryan as he was thorough and straight forward.  We will use them again for future plumbing needs.

Over the past week we seemed to be losing hot water.  Looking in Yelp I saw 2nd Opinion Plumbing had good reviews.  I called and spoke with Brian and got a service tech, Jesse, to come out later that day.  I needed a new heating element and a thermostatic valve estimated at $800.00.  Called my home warranty service and although 2nd opinion was an approved contractor ultimately my solar hot water heater was not.  Jessie and Jay came out the next morning to serve the tank.  After about an hour Jesse came in to tell me the heating element was corroded and welded to the tank.  They had been carefully chipping away the 'ball of corrosion' and applying WD40 to loosen it.  However he advised that when loosening it could break the insert and I would need a new tank.  Those tanks cost $2600.  I watched as they worked to unscrew the element from the tank - hard at first few tries but finally loosened with no tank damage.  They replaced the element and valve and also the 'dip tube' which was corroded but did not charge me for it as it was not on the estimate - a $30 part plus labor.  Nor did I get charged for the extra time they took or that they went across town early morning to pick up the thermal valve part as it was a specific valve not off the shelve in stock. They checked every sink and shower to flush out the air in the system and cleaned up like they were never there.  I was very pleased as despite the $800 they did $1000 worth of parts and labor and I figured they saved me $2600 in being very careful with the tank ... and ensured my home warranty didn't charge time the $65 service call.  I gave them each $20 to buy lunch as I figured least I could do.  Also writing this 5 star Yelp review.  Overall stellar in customer service and work.  JGH

Addition: Well it gets better - when bleeding air out my pipes the noticed some reddish water which I was advised was rusting of the iron tank lining meaning the inner tank lining has a crack - tank had maybe 1-2 years of usability left.  Long story short I called the manufacturer and found out I had only 2 months of warranty left on the tank.  Per conversations with Jesse he convinced Bradford-White to give me a replacement tank with only a $125 shipping fee.  They are coming out Tuesday 11/14 to replace the tank.  This is going to cost me another $900 but it's better than $4000.  If I could give these guys 10 stars I would as Jesse and Brian went to bat for me!  Love these guys.....

Incidentally since they did service the tank our hot water is great - no issues.  Can't wait for the new tank. JGH

Addition: Ryan and Jesse came out on Tues as scheduled and replaced the tank in a few hours.  Bill was a bit less $ than quoted.  All is great.  Can't thank these guys enough!

We moved into a new house over the weekend and discovered that our tankless water heater was not working. The friendly dispatch coordinator called back within the hour, gave us advice on how we might reboot the system, and then scheduled service for us when the reboot did not work.

Our technician, Charles H., was super helpful. He quickly diagnosed the issue, provided a short-term fix, and came back the following day with a necessary part. He was patient and helpful with our questions on other parts of our water system (softener, filtration, heating). More importantly, he fixed our issue efficiently and responded to our questions with options on how to upgrade our filtration/softening system without upselling.

We will definitely call Second Opinion Plumbing again (and request Charles).

We had a slab leak and we were not impressed with the initial plumbing company we hired. We got our second opinion and are very happy with the work done by Brian. Brandon just fixed the leak in my tub. I called the company for the first time a couple days ago and I got put on the schedule for first thing in the morning. He explained to me what needed to be done, gave a reasonable price, and did the work in just minutes. He was kind, professional, and even wore booties to cover his shoes because I had just told him I mopped the floor the other day. I would recommend him/company for sure and I would definitely call them again if I had other issues.

Our kitchen suddenly backed up Thursday night and after my brief troubleshooting fou d the issue to be further down the drain and decided to get a professional to look at it. Called these guys Friday morning and they were able to schedule a person to come in later that afternoon to see if they can assess the problem and unclog whatever was built up in the pipes. I think the first guys name was Aaron, one of the owner's son, but he was super friendly and honest about prices and everything. He tried to unclog the pipe but unfortunately could not with the tools he had in his truck for the day. He was able to get someone out this morning on short notice. Charlie was the 2nd guy and he was also super friendly. All in all due to the problem we had, we had to go with water jetting but it wasnt a sales scheme where he was pushing it on me. Water jetting got the job done and when Charlie realized ths cap for our outdoor pour wouldnt work anymore, he went to Home Depot and bought a working cap all on his own. Life savers....I can't recommend this company enough.  Our water heater went down so I placed a few calls.  One company (with 24 hr emergency service) told me it would be 3 days before they could get out.  I called Second Opinion and was greeted by a very friendly call taker who told me they just had a cancelation and they would be on their way.  Kyle and Jake showed up within 20 minutes and I had a new water heater installed (at a fair price) before noon.  Will use this company again when needed and will refer to others without hesitation.

I am so impressed at how quickly Justin was able to get out here and shut off the main valve and fix water that was gushing full blast into my yard.  I felt like I was right out of the movie very bad things because 3 teenagers had a different reason as to why there was chaos.   Any other plumber would have come out here and charged me a fortune and I had just spoken to him earlier today about the other items I needed corrected prior to this disaster.  Justin was calm, friendly and completely cool and he just told me that his guy would be there tomorrow for the regular appointment.  I cannot express how grateful I am for how quickly he was here but also how kind he was.

It seems rare these days to give a 5 star review but Second Opinion Plumbing definitely deserves it. I had a crack in my cast iron sewer pipe and another company came out yesterday and gave me an outrageous quote. It stressed me out and I knew I had to get a second opinion so when I ran across the name of this company I had to call. I called this morning and spoke with Ryan. He asked a few questions. I sent him pictures of the pipe. He came by to give me a free estimate. Quoted me about $400 to replace the 8 foot pipe, which was far below what the other company quoted me. I said when you can you do it. He said now and had the job finished within an hour. Truly not what I expected. He was a cool guy, left no mess and honored his price. There were no surprises, just excellent work. Easy and simple. If you get a quote from any other company, definitely get a quote from second opinion before you agree to the work. Brian arrived early and confidently repaired our shower faucet leak that a previously company said could not be repaired. Even fixed dripping outside faucet, unplanned. I called Second Opinion on a Sunday afternoon to fix a in hole leak on my main water line. Austin asked for me to send some pictures and provided me with a quote over the phone. He came within the hour and did a fantastic job! A true gentleman and professional. Less than half the price of some other quotes I got. He even told me what to check for a water heater issue I had.

It's great to know there's still plumbing folks out there that give a fair price and great service. Second Opinion is the first and only opinion I need.

I absolutely recommend Second Opinion plumbing. I first started using them for my business (restaurant) then used them for my personal tub install. They were great! I purchased a home to use as a rental in Gilbert. The second floor bathtub was called out by our home inspector as possibly having a faulty drain repair. I called second opinion Plumbing and scheduled an appointment to have the Tub inspected.
Kyle McCracken arrived early inspected the Tub and assured me it was suitable for use.
He didn't charge me anything to inspect the Tub.

Purchased a tankless hot water heater last year and Second Opinion plumbing installed it within days. Very happy with the unit. We had an error on the unit popup a few times and Second Opinion Plumbing was quick to respond and resolve the issues. We were so pleased with the level of service that we asked them to install a filter on the water going to the tankless heater. A special shout out to their tech, Charles Harvey, who was very professional, knowledgeable, and provided great customer service. He explained everything and got everything running perfectly at no cost to us since they have a 2-year warranty (parts and labor) directly from the company. I would definitely recommend this company. Not the most expensive and not the least expensive but their customer service is great. We're very happy and will continue to use them in the future.

Called Second Opinion Plumbing on Saturday around 9am to report a leak outside the house.  Charles arrived within 90 minutes and quickly diagnosed the problem as a defective pressure value breaker.  My lawn sprinkler stopped working a day or two before the leak was discovered.  Charles explained to me that the pressure valve breaker was preventing the sprinkler from turning on.  Sure enough, after replacing the part, the leak stopped, and the sprinkler turned on.  It feels like I got two repairs for the price of one.   I watched as Charles completed the repair, and he explained what he was doing and why.  Nobody likes having to deal with repairs, but Charles and Second Opinion Plumbing made the process quick and stress free.

Imaging it's 4 days before thanksgiving and you're about to host about 30 out of town guest when your plumbing backs up into multiple toilets the day your guest are arriving. Over the past week we seemed to be losing hot water.  Looking in Yelp I saw 2nd Opinion Plumbing had good reviews.  I called and spoke with Brian and got a service tech, Jesse, to come out later that day.  I needed a new heating element and a thermostatic valve estimated at $800.00.  Called my home warranty service and although 2nd opinion was an approved contractor ultimately my solar hot water heater was not.  Jessie and Jay came out the next morning to serve the tank.  After about an hour Jesse came in to tell me the heating element was corroded and welded to the tank.  They had been carefully chipping away the 'ball of corrosion' and applying WD40 to loosen it.  However he advised that when loosening it could break the insert and I would need a new tank.  Those tanks cost $2600.  I watched as they worked to unscrew the element from the tank - hard at first few tries but finally loosened with no tank damage.  They replaced the element and valve and also the 'dip tube' which was corroded but did not charge me for it as it was not on the estimate - a $30 part plus labor.  Nor did I get charged for the extra time they took or that they went across town early morning to pick up the thermal valve part as it was a specific valve not off the shelve in stock. They checked every sink and shower to flush out the air in the system and cleaned up like they were never there.  I was very pleased as despite the $800 they did $1000 worth of parts and labor and I figured they saved me $2600 in being very careful with the tank ... and ensured my home warranty didn't charge time the $65 service call.  I gave them each $20 to buy lunch as I figured least I could do.  Also writing this 5 star Yelp review.  Overall stellar in customer service and work.  JGH

Addition: Well it gets better - when bleeding air out my pipes the noticed some reddish water which I was advised was rusting of the iron tank lining meaning the inner tank lining has a crack - tank had maybe 1-2 years of usability left.  Long story short I called the manufacturer and found out I had only 2 months of warranty left on the tank.  Per conversations with Jesse he convinced Bradford-White to give me a replacement tank with only a $125 shipping fee.  They are coming out Tuesday 11/14 to replace the tank.  This is going to cost me another $900 but it's better than $4000.  If I could give these guys 10 stars I would as Jesse and Brian went to bat for me!  Love these guys.....

Incidentally since they did service the tank our hot water is great - no issues.  Can't wait for the new tank. JGH

Addition: Ryan and Jesse came out on Tues as scheduled and replaced the tank in a few hours.  Bill was a bit less $ than quoted.  All is great.  Can't thank these guys enough!

First time using Second Opinion Plumbing and found them here on Yelp. This afternoon I found a puddle around our water heater and Jesse came out very quickly to take a look at it. He was very friendly and professional and gave a couple options to me, but ultimately the best course of action was to replace the 12-year-old water heater and add a drip pan underneath for any future leaks. From start to finish the whole process did not take very long and he kept me informed the whole way. I would recommend Jesse and Second Opinion Plumbing for any plumbing issues!

If you are ever in doubt or want to put your worries aside, rest assured Second Opinion Plumbing will act with integrity, be straight about the issue, are kind and give you a fair price and answer all questions. I made a mistake and hired a different company to do a toilet install and they made a bigger mess. Justin was my plumbing warrior and literally saved me a much bigger headache of having to cut drywall etc by his knowledge and expertise. He is a rockstar; Thank you a million times over! You have no idea how many people I tell about and appreciate you going above and beyond.

We had water soaking into our carpet in the dining room and were concerned that we had a slab leak.  We called Second Opinion, and a tech was out in just a little over an hour.  He helped us find the issue quickly (a leak with a capped line that used to go to a refrigerator that was moved).  He repaired the leak, and told us what we need to do to ensure that we don't have any mold or mildew grow.  The cost was very reasonable, especially since we no longer needed to worry about a potentially costly repair for extensive damage.  Highly recommend this company to others!

Ryan, from Second Opinion Plumbing and Air, is a must call. Not only can you expect not to get gouged, but the responsiveness and quality of work will be 'SECOND TO NONE.' Even on Sunday!

I had a couple small leaks - after soldering our copper lines for our tub and shower - and I needed help immediately due to the open water lines. Called Ryan on a Sunday at 9:30a. He was here by 10:30a, and finished by 11:30a. He allowed me to watch, and gave me small pointers on how to do the job in the future ... and gave me a Military Discount. Had an emergency situation and needed a plumber asap. The woman who answered took my information and said the plumber would reach out to me in 60-90 mins.

The plumber was at my house when I arrived. I got out of my car and he let me know he had found the issue and fixed it already. Keep in mind without stepping foot in my house.

The cost was much more than I was expecting BUT the hazmat issue was resolved quickly without having to wait the next day. The man who came was very professional and obviously knew what he was doing.

My mom needed a plumber , didn't want her to be fooled by the ol up-sell tactic that most companies do... I stumbled across this company on yelp! She made the call- they came and fixed the problem the next day. 1 week later my mother in law needed a plumber! Again , I called these guys and they came out and fixed the problem the next day. Didn't try to inflate the price , no bologna kind of service!!! Then unfortunately, 3 days later WE needed a plumber. ( our shower was barely trickling when the hot water was on.) fearing the worst I had them come out and they handled it! Also so happy with the price we ended up purchasing a new delta lifetime warranty shower kit! And had it installed! I work for a company that relies solely on customer reviews and I know good service these days is truly hard to find! We gave this company three different jobs within 1 months time (hoping I don't need them for a LONG TIME! Good job, thanks for being honest (especially with my mom and mother in law-- as they are elderly)

I'm not much for writing reviews. Seem's I always have something else I could be doing. However, this time I had to make the time to say a few words. I called and spoke to Ryan at Second Opinion Plumbing. I did this for a water outage because of a broken main valve. I called Ryan when I could not get help when I needed it from other providers whose names may be more well known because of commercials. Well, Ryan and Second Opinion Plumbing should have been and now will always be my first call.

Ryan was courteous and professional, arrived at my house within a couple hours, quoted me the work at a VERY reasonable rate. He did quality, expeditious work and conversed with me throughout. Gave me advice on other projects related to plumbing. Helped me with other issues I didn't even realize I had. Overall, the best experience I've ever had with a contractor.

They came out as a second opinion and gave us the truth about our ac. The first co was from our home warranty that told us we needed almost 4,000.00 dollars worth of repairs on our ac. Brian was Our technician who came out for a quote for three different issues in our home. He came out on Monday, arrived 10 minutes early and was very efficient and thorough in explaining the issues we had and recommendations for fixing them. We then scheduled for the work to be done on Wednesday. He was timely, told us it would take about 4 hours and got it done in about 3.5 hours. He took the time to go over our new appliances he installed as well as the warranties and any other necessary information we would need in terms of operating or managing our new sinks and reverse osmosis system. Very fair price and very happy! We no longer need to leave a sign in our spare sink saying do not use, and we finally have a reverse osmosis system, new kitchen faucet, and new garbage disposal. Highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future. Great local business!

Justin was terrific. My renter had a broken washer valve. I'm decently handy, shut off the renter's water, but during the replacement I dropped the new valve down the overflow drain! With no experience in that, I Yelped a highly rated plumber and Second Opinion was up to the task. They came out in just a couple hours, the renter praised Justin's expertise, and the cost was pretty good for an emergency call + unexpected drain trap excavation. Highly recommended! I cannot say enough great things about Second Opinion Plumbing and Air! We have unfortunately bought a house from a do-it-yourselfer who should not have done it himself. On top of that, the home inspector was absolutely worthless; missing many, many issues. Since buying the house almost two years ago, we had been using our home warranty company to try to fix our laundry list of issues, but always with subpar results. Their contractors were only putting band-aids on things, not fixing any real issues.  We finally got fed up and decided to bypass our home warranty company and call Second Opinion- for a second opinion. They were fantastic! Always patiently explaining our options and walking us through the steps along the way. They were able to fix our hot water heater, water softener, and our two a/c air handler units among other things. Our water heater gave out unexpectedly late in the afternoon. I called Second Opinion Plumbing and they sent Kyle to take a look first thing the next morning. Kyle was thorough and walked me through the various options and pricing. We decided to install a new tankless water heater and Kyle moved around his other appointments for the day to install the water heater right away. When my son got out of the shower this morning, the water was gushing full-blast after being turned all the way off. We had to shut off the main water valve and hope someone could come out ASAP to help.

Ryan came out and explained all my options to me in detail and gave me fair estimates for all the different options I had for repairing or replacing my water heater right then. They went above and beyond and never pressured me towards any of the more expensive options. I paid the price they quoted me with no hidden fees. My kitchen sink was draining very, very slowly on the Friday afternoon before Memorial Day weekend.  I did not want to pay for an emergency response so cooking was kept at a bare minimum throughout the weekend.  On Monday I called, spoke to Jesse, & set up an appointment for Tuesday.  Justin called earlier than the 3:00 p.m. appointment to let me know he was available to come earlier.  He arrived, snaked the pipe from under the sink a couple of times and alas............success!  He was very pleasant and cleaned up after himself.  I was very pleased!  The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that Jesse told me it would be around $150 if they could get to the clog from under the sink.  If there was a problem encountered and they had to go on the roof to access the drain from the vent pipe it would cost more.  I was charged $195 even though the clog was cleared from under the sink. I asked why the difference, but the explanation didn't make sense to me.

We are new to the area and are working on establishing our list of go-to help. We had just bought a house and knew we were likely going to have to have some work done in the next year or so. A friend gave me Brian's info and told me they do exceptionally high quality work at a fair price. Well, unfortunately, we couldn't stretch out the life of one of the hot water heaters for more than 4 months. I went into our kitchen one night to find a puddle on the floor and a flood under the sink where the small water heater under the sink had failed. I called Brian in a bit of a panic at 8:30pm at night and, despite the fact he had no idea who I was, he took his time talking me through turning off the supply, draining the water heater, and unplugging it, and made time to come out and look at it the very next day. I had to work, so he even agreed to come after hours so I wouldn't have to take off of work.

He arrived on time the next evening, and couldn't have been more helpful! I knew the hot water supply line was shot, thus the under sink heater, and thought I would either have to pay through the nose for a new small heater, or break up the slab and tile to run a new line, but he suggested running a new line through the ceiling. He warned he may have to cut a few holes in the drywall that would need patching. Though I was dreading having to mud the patches and try to get the patch to match the textured walls, it was the better solution and less expensive option. So we went that direction. I knew the main hot water heater was at the end of its life, so I asked him to give me a quote on replacing that as well, lest we be back in the same spot in another couple months. And we had the most ridiculous hard water, and knew I wanted to install a softener at some point, so I asked him to give me a quote on that as well. He gave me an estimate and it was fair and accurate. He needed one day to order and receive the hot water heater, but scheduled the install for it, the new supply line and the water softener just a day and a half later.

He and his partner, Ryan, showed up on time in the morning. It took them the day to get everything installed and operational, but they ended up only having to cut one access point in the garage, leaving me only one place to patch, bless their hearts!!! Saved me a ton of work and hassle. As a result of their hard work, we have fantastic hot water at our sink, our dishwasher actually *gasps* cleans our dishes now (You've saved me at least an hour hand washing dishes every day, Brian! You've given me my life back!!!), I won't have to worry about calling him out in the next couple months for the main heater, and our clothes are coming out of the dryer pliable and soft, we aren't getting hard water spots on everything, and our skin hasn't looked this good since we moved to AZ!!!! We couldn't be happier with their work! Our quality of life has exponentially improved, all because of plumbing :) And what he quoted is what I paid, no add on expenses or surprises at the end.

I couldn't recommend Second Opinion Plumbing more highly. I agree with another reviewer, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. I will be calling them shortly to install an RO system for the kitchen sink and ice maker line, so we can stop buying and lugging bottled water :)

These guys are great.  Was the seventh company I reached out to on a Sunday when the AC went out at 110.  Got the nice and cold again thanks to Austin our tech.  Price was the best, they went above and beyond, and did I say our AC is working lol.

What I valued the most from our initial consultation with Justin is that he made me feel like my machine was good once I replaced the issues.  So many companies have made me feel uneasy about this unit that have done service.

When I came home tonight I was not expecting to have to deal with backed up toilets and showers. We called Second Opinion Plumbing and Justin was out here within 10 minutes! I'm not much for writing reviews. Seem's I always have something else I could be doing. However, this time I had to make the time to say a few words. I called and spoke to Ryan at Second Opinion Plumbing. I did this for a water outage because of a broken main valve. I called Ryan when I could not get help when I needed it from other providers whose names may be more well known because of commercials. Well, Ryan and Second Opinion Plumbing should have been and now will always be my first call.

Ryan was courteous and professional, arrived at my house within a couple hours, quoted me the work at a VERY reasonable rate. He did quality, expeditious work and conversed with me throughout. Gave me advice on other projects related to plumbing. Helped me with other issues I didn't even realize I had. Overall, the best experience I've ever had with a contractor.

Wold give negative 5 stars if I could. Had to kick the guy off my property because he found it nessary to argue with me about what I could and could not afford. Not acceptable behavior or service. Do not call these people and expect anything but some jerk telling you that you have to buy something from them that you told them when you made the appointment that you were not going to be able to afford at this time. So only call these horrible people if you want to be made to feel like crap about not being able to afford 1000$ worth of toilets from them unacceptable no excuse. Worst service of anything ever

Our home was built in the 70's. When we decided to get a new refrigerator I wanted to make sure being the princess that I am  that we would have ice and water available.

Anyone who knows anything about water in Arizona knows we have hard water and pipes break. Well this happened when my hubby went to change out the fixture. Thankfully he's smart and had the water turned off.  See picture for visual. So now the hunt is on for a plumber.

Second opinion over-exceeded my expectations! From the time I called in and spoke with Nikki, She told me she'd have someone call me back. I heard back from Second Opinion Plumbing technician within 15 minutes that he was ten minutes out. Wowzers...thank you!!

Now I hold my breath as I wait for the estimate knowing that the plumbing is broken behind the wall. Clayton gave me the estimated costs up front for a total of $285, and I had a $50 off coupon. Yes please and thank you! Clayton completed the job within an hour and cleaned up afterwards.

On every aspect of this experience, we give this company 5+ stars -- the speed of response, the quality of the work, the professionalism and care of the technician.

Second Opinion Plumbing is a breath of fresh air!!  Yesterday I called a plumbing company that had previously done some very good work in my home at what seemed a fair price.  I was unable to speak to anyone, and left a message.  I feel this is concerning, especially if I had had a plumbing emergency, and there was no phone option to state so. However, after 24 hours I had not received a response to my message.  I then turned to Yelp, a site I am very grateful for because I have yet to go wrong with highly rated companies on this site.  Because this company had well deserved 74 five star reviews I called Second Opinion Plumbing late this morning about a broken spigot on my patio.  My hose had frozen onto the 30 year old spigot, which had previously occurred with a different hose about a year ago.  Brian, from Second Opinion Plumbing answered the phone, and I explained the issue and let him know it was not an emergency situation.  I expected that it would be several days before I could get an appointment.  I asked if he could give me a ballpark figure for the cost, which he did.  I had researched the price (national) for spigot replacement, which is $150.00-$300.00, depending on where you live in the country.  I did request a free estimate.  Brian said he was having lunch near my home, and would be over as soon as he was through.  About an hour later he showed up, looked at the problem, and gave me the same price as he quoted over the phone.  Since we had to walk through the laundry room to get to the spigot, he also diagnosed a problem with my clothes dry, an easy fix, for which I am EXTREMELY grateful :)   I believe he would have fixed the dryer problem had I asked, but it is probably something I can do myself. He replaced the spigot, added additional hardware to make it more stable and sturdy, and showed/explained to me that in the future it would be much easier to replace the spigot, if needed.  The final cost was much less than the national average.  The on/off handle on the spigot actually matches the trim paint on my home, maybe just a happy coincidence :)   I feel that Brian and Second Opinion Plumbing are absolutely honest and very reasonably priced, and will call them for other upgrading in plumbing I have been planning to have done, as well as for any emergencies.  I would very highly recommend Second Opinion Plumbing to everyone and, as far as the 1st company I called, well, they have lost my future business. Brian was friendly and professional, and worked quickly and efficiently.  I am very happy to have found an honest plumber, especially after experiencing some horror stories with past plumbers.  I cannot say enough good things about this company!!

Had them install a few faucets and change a reverse osmosis filter. Very prompt and professional. They came out and gave a quote and performed the work the same day. They came out as a second opinion and gave us the truth about our ac. The first co was from our home warranty that told us we needed almost 4,000.00 dollars worth of repairs on our ac. Best plumbers in the valley. They are quick to respond and reasonably priced. True professionals. I have had 2 issues since I moved into my house and they helped me out both times. 1st time was a roof tile in the drain pipe and the second time my friends kid must have flushed something he shouldn't have. Both times they responded quickly and resolved the problem within an hour or less.  I will never call anyone else for plumbing issues.

Second Opinion should be your First choice! We called this company after we got a Crazy expensive estimate from the first company we called. We had a kitchen sink drain that went from slow to not draining. The rep from the first company didn't even Look at the problem - he started with asking if we had insurance, then said we would need to replace all our water lines (for $4500!) and suggested we lie to our insurance company so they would cover the cost! He made a half-hearted attempt to snake the line and set an appointment to come back with a camera the following day. He also Didn't wear a face mask!
That's when we decided to get a second opinion - and thank goodness we did! Second Opinion Plumbing sent Brian Brooks, a rep who actually worked at cleaning the drain! He agreed with the first plumber, that there were bends in the line. But, unlike the first guy, he Didn't think the lines needed replacing! Brian worked hard for at least an hour, snaking the drains all the way through. The price he charged was reasonable, and he was friendly and professional (wearing a mask the whole time).
Thanks to Brian from Second Opinion Plumbers, our drain is running once again. You can be sure, they will be our First choice any time we need aa plumber!

We have now used 2nd Opinion Plumbing twice and are even more impressed with their service, professionalism, knowledge/expertise, and friendliness!!! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND calling this company for any plumbing work you need completed with proficiency.  The first time we called for a sink and toilet removal and reset after the new floor was installed, and also asked about a new water line to the fridge.  This time we called for a new hot water heater, water softner, reverse osmosis system, and to check existing pipes to major appliances.   This is the company we will call for the first and last opinion!!!  Thank you 2nd Opinion Plumbing!

Brandon just fixed the leak in my tub. I called the company for the first time a couple days ago and I got put on the schedule for first thing in the morning. He explained to me what needed to be done, gave a reasonable price, and did the work in just minutes. He was kind, professional, and even wore booties to cover his shoes because I had just told him I mopped the floor the other day. I would recommend him/company for sure and I would definitely call them again if I had other issues.

I mentioned to Brandon that he's the 3rd plumber to come out. I felt like the other two wasn't being honest and quoted me a ridiculous amount. Brian @ second opinion plumbing is the only plumber I trust to give me an honest answer, a fair price and watch out for the best interest of the costumer.

A few months ago my water heater expansion tank burst and Brian was here to answer all questions and helped me promptly set up a mitigation company to get it dried out.

Fast forward two/three months a new leak due to old brittle pipping in my bathroom. Brian answered all my questions, came out promptly and makes sure to go out of his way to explain what is going on to your company/contractors or anyone else via telephone.

Second Opinion plumbing is truly the best! Won't go to anyone else and recommend them to all!

The drains in my home have been getting backed up off and on lately.  I wasn't too concerned at first.  However, it was starting I happen more frequently.  That had me worried.  I stayed up really late last night just thinking about it.  Then I was really worried.  I called Second Opinion Plumbing at around 3am this morning.  I expected a voicemail or a forwarding service.  Instead, I got the boss.  I felt bad for waking him.  He was really cool though.  He asked me a few questions and made an initial diagnosis.  He also made an appointment and gave me a competitive quote over the phone.  He said that he'd have a guy at my place between 10am and 12pm.  Justin arrived at about 10:30am.  He was super friendly and I felt confident that he was gonna get me fixed up.  Justin took care of a clog in my main sewer line.  He also explained what had caused it.  The best part, the price quoted was the price that I paid.  These guys have earned my business.  Give them a chance to earn yours and you won't be disappointed.

I called Second Opinion, funny enough, to get a second opinion. The dispatcher set me up with a next day appointment. I wanted a hot water heater flush and a filter change on my RO system.
The guys came out at the appointed time and retooled my water heater so I would be able to do the flush myself from now on and then did the flush, to show me how to do  it, while I watched. I can  guarantee that most plumbers would not do this, instead they would want me to call them every year.

I showed them my RO system and they weren't familiar with the filters. They looked it up on the internet and found that the company who makes the system is located in Tempe. They demonstrated how I could change the filters myself and said I'd save money by going and getting the filters from Tempe and doing the job myself. Who does that? They could have gone and done it and charged me and instead they taught me how to do it myself and save a lot of money!

They put together an estimate for converting my electric water heater to a tankless gas water heater, right there on the spot. I'll be saving my money to get this done and they'll get my business!

I will ALWAYS call Second Opinion Plumbing but from now on, I'll call them FIRST!

You will not be sorry if you call them too!

Brian was Our technician who came out for a quote for three different issues in our home. He came out on Monday, arrived 10 minutes early and was very efficient and thorough in explaining the issues we had and recommendations for fixing them. We then scheduled for the work to be done on Wednesday. He was timely, told us it would take about 4 hours and got it done in about 3.5 hours. He took the time to go over our new appliances he installed as well as the warranties and any other necessary information we would need in terms of operating or managing our new sinks and reverse osmosis system. Very fair price and very happy! We no longer need to leave a sign in our spare sink saying do not use, and we finally have a reverse osmosis system, new kitchen faucet, and new garbage disposal. Highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future. Great local business!

We had a leaking water main at our home that was flooding our front yard. We had a plumber tell us they would have to replace the whole line at a cost of several thousands of dollars. When I needed a second opinion, I was glad to find Second Opinion Plumbing! They responded quickly and, instead of sending me a ridiculous estimate via email, went right to work digging down to the leak. It was repaired that same morning at a fraction of the price of the first estimate! This was a messy, muddy, labor intensive job. Charles did a great job fixing a leak we had under our sink. He even fixed our waterline to our fridge that wasn't set up right. When I came home tonight I was not expecting to have to deal with backed up toilets and showers. We called Second Opinion Plumbing and Justin was out here within 10 minutes! Our water softener quit and I called for them to come out and assess the issue. They came the next day and told us it could not be fixed and gave an estimate for a new unit. The he call was free, and the service guy was great.

All we knew was that a couple of the floor tiles would get hot, signalling a likely leak down below.  I had two companies come in that were sent by the home warranty company.  Both were saying different things, though both seemed to think the solution involved tearing up my floors and costing me a fortune.  And with a $2k max on the home warranty.  I found Second Opinion Plumbing on Yelp, and figured I needed a second opinion.  Brian came and immediately gained my trust.  Long story short is that we went his recommendation to reroute behind the wall, without having to tear up tile.  Reroute he did, and it was an awesome job, right on budget, at a very reasonable price.  It's good to know I've got a great plumber now, if and when I need some more work done.  He's got my solid recommendation.

I had a major explosion of water from faucet.  
Required turning ALL water off to house from street, bypass and solar.
Called every friend and called the guy, then checked
w BBB, all bad reviews. After 12 calls, TV commercial
Came to mind, HomeAdvisors does the work for you.

Second Opinion was out within 90 minutes,
DX problem stated & explain what needed to be done, quoted a price and set a date/time.
At 8 am call/service timely.  By 10 am was doing house

Jesse Sage, is so polite (not bad on the eyes) explain everything in detail, cleaned up and was a total gentleman.

I recommend Second Opinion Plumbing to everyone.

Just had a new water heater installed by Brian and it was a great experience. The prices they charge are extremely reasonable and actually quite phenomenal relative to the big guys. I did a ton of research and ended up with them. They take the time to answer all questions and are very helpful. Super work and recommend them very highly. Huge thanks to Brian and Ryan and for their fast and fantastic repair of our exterior water pressure regulator. After an unexpected blow of the cheap builder installation, we had no water to the house and a huge flood in our front yard. Despite a full schedule, they were able to squeeze us in early morning so we didn't have to cancel our family vacation. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Had an emergency situation and needed a plumber asap. The woman who answered took my information and said the plumber would reach out to me in 60-90 mins.

The plumber was at my house when I arrived. I got out of my car and he let me know he had found the issue and fixed it already. Keep in mind without stepping foot in my house.

The cost was much more than I was expecting BUT the hazmat issue was resolved quickly without having to wait the next day. The man who came was very professional and obviously knew what he was doing.

Austin is the best service/repair guy I have ever encountered in all the years I have rented and owned a home. Very professional and patient. He answered my questions about the repairs and explained things thoroughly. He was even considerate enough to vacuum the area he worked in which is a sign of someone who truly cares about personal service. And, to top it all off, because my daughter was asleep on the couch, Austin was respectful and tiptoed around as he passed by.

Charles came out today to help with a toilet issue. He was professional and efficient. He clearly explained the problem and was able to answer all of our questions. The issue was resolved quickly and his pricing was much more affordable than the other quotes we had received. We had a clog in our shower and couldn't get it to drain after snaking it ourselves. I called and spoke with Nicki explaining that we couldn't use our shower and that the kids bathroom was draining slow. She called the technician and Charles was at my house shortly after. Charles was knowledgeable and professional. He made sure our shower drained properly and that the clog was isolated.

I emailed Second Opinion late at night and very early the following morning I received a call regarding a hot water heater repair that was needed. The little bit of information I provided gave them a good idea of what was wrong and sure enough, they diagnosed it accurately (broken pressure valve).

The tech arrived, determined immediately what the issue was and began working on the repair. The repair was done quickly, the work was done professionally and all was fixed. Great work and recommended!

Jesse was fantastic. He arrived on time, was professional and did an excellent job.

I called on Saturday due to a leak coming from somewhere under my sink. Jesse arrived within a few hours, quickly identified the issue and provided an estimate at no cost.

Based on how knowledgeable Jesse was, I decided to also go ahead and replace my faucet, drain kits and water dispenser.

Jesse came back today and completed everything in under two hours. Everything works well and looks fantastic.

So our bathtub got a clog in it, and I called them to schedule an appointment. They sent Austin today and was expecting the job to be pricey to time consuming. But he got the job done very fast and the price was very affordable. He was very respectful in regards to the pandemic and with entering our home. Second Opinion should be your First choice! We called this company after we got a Crazy expensive estimate from the first company we called. We had a kitchen sink drain that went from slow to not draining. The rep from the first company didn't even Look at the problem - he started with asking if we had insurance, then said we would need to replace all our water lines (for $4500!) and suggested we lie to our insurance company so they would cover the cost! He made a half-hearted attempt to snake the line and set an appointment to come back with a camera the following day. He also Didn't wear a face mask!
That's when we decided to get a second opinion - and thank goodness we did! Second Opinion Plumbing sent Brian Brooks, a rep who actually worked at cleaning the drain! He agreed with the first plumber, that there were bends in the line. But, unlike the first guy, he Didn't think the lines needed replacing! Brian worked hard for at least an hour, snaking the drains all the way through. The price he charged was reasonable, and he was friendly and professional (wearing a mask the whole time).
Thanks to Brian from Second Opinion Plumbers, our drain is running once again. You can be sure, they will be our First choice any time we need aa plumber!

Jacob came over today to diagnose a problem that's been going for years, a leak originating from the bathroom upstairs making its way down to the ceiling on our kitchen. He cut the drywall and after that ran the water in the tub and it slowly started dripping. He was able to pinpoint that it was a recent badly installed tub spout with a corroded pipe that was causing the leak. Jacob was very professional, transparent and honest and I learned a few things just from talking to him and he consequently cleaned up. The time and thoroughness he took to take care of the problem was refreshing to see and the invoice charge was reasonable. i would definitely highly recommend Second Opinion for any plumbing needs and will use them again.

I purchased a home to use as a rental in Gilbert. The second floor bathtub was called out by our home inspector as possibly having a faulty drain repair. I called second opinion Plumbing and scheduled an appointment to have the Tub inspected.
Kyle McCracken arrived early inspected the Tub and assured me it was suitable for use.
He didn't charge me anything to inspect the Tub.
I will absolutely use Second Opinion Plumbing again.

Called these guys in a pinch when my hose bib twisted off and I had to shut off the main valve.  Jesse got out to my house in under thirty minutes,  did repair and had water on in no time at all.  Fast friendly proffesional service,  can't beat that.  Highly recommend!!!

These guys are truly the greatest. We had them install a new water heater and they gave us a reasonable price and had it installed right away. We've since used them for all of our plumbing and A/C needs. They are very professional, nice and show up on time and can usually get out to you the same day. I never feel like they are trying to sell me on anything I don't need, like I've felt with other companies. It's nice to have a company I can trust.

I called Second Opinion on a Saturday and they were super helpful right off the bat on the phone and were out at my house within a couple hours that same day. Ryan came out and explained all my options to me in detail and gave me fair estimates for all the different options I had for repairing or replacing my water heater right then. They went above and beyond and never pressured me towards any of the more expensive options. I paid the price they quoted me with no hidden fees. Overall my experience was great and I will continue to use and recommend Second Opinion in the future.

They are wonderful and fast. They don't EVER try to sell you something that you don't need.  They came the same day we called. They even instructed my husband how to make some small repairs and how to make future problem checks. We live paycheck to paycheck and they were so understanding and respectful about it. Just down to earth very  honest plumbers. We were very, very impressed. I almost never have time to write reviews, but this time I had to make time. We were very pleased!!! I called these guys as they were referred by a friend. They were prompt and professional and able to come out right away. Brandon and Kyle were the two plumbers that came out to my house. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and explained the different options I had.

They were able to get the work completed, and did an awesome job. I couldn't be happier.

I now have a go to plumber in the area and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or refer them to friends and family.

I have called Ryan for a number of jobs. He is a terrific plumber--very knowledge, on time, tells you like it is and doesn't try to get you to have more work done than you need. He also works quick, and is a bit of a perfectionist. He has undone some shoddy work just because he likes it done right. The price is right and the work exact, so why would you use any other company? Plus, I love using small businesses that have a big stake in doing their best for their customers.

It seems rare these days to give a 5 star review but Second Opinion Plumbing definitely deserves it. I had a crack in my cast iron sewer pipe and another company came out yesterday and gave me an outrageous quote. It stressed me out and I knew I had to get a second opinion so when I ran across the name of this company I had to call. I called this morning and spoke with Ryan. He asked a few questions. I sent him pictures of the pipe. He came by to give me a free estimate. Quoted me about $400 to replace the 8 foot pipe, which was far below what the other company quoted me. I said when you can you do it. He said now and had the job finished within an hour. Truly not what I expected. He was a cool guy, left no mess and honored his price. There were no surprises, just excellent work. Easy and simple. If you get a quote from any other company, definitely get a quote from second opinion before you agree to the work. I'm so relieved I called today. Thank you Ryan !!!

I requested an estimate on a kitchen faucet with garbage disposal install and a repair on the faucet hot water line. I like that Tawny gave me a ballpark amount other companies wouldn't give me any idea until they sent someone. Day of service Adrian came out gave me a total price and got the work done efficiently. Didn't try to annoyingly up-sale me on everything like Parker & Son's does. I might just be going back to these folks for other service issues.

I had a few complicated faucet and tub fixture installations that needed to be done at my condo and didn't have the confidence to DIY it. So I called Second Opinion on a Thursday morning at 11 and the plumber, Chris arrived at 12:30PM and began work immediately. They completed the job the following morning, cleaned up once work was complete, and even tidied up some mistakes from a past plumber. Highly recommend Second Opinion!

We had a clogged up kitchen sink...it was very frustrating!! We tried to plunge the standing water away with no success.  So I called Second Opinion Plumbing and even though they were very busy, they squeezed us in for that afternoon!!!
Kyle came out and in what seemed like no time at all, he had the clog removed! He also gave us some good tips for keeping the drain free of obstructions!! I recommend Second Opinion Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs!!

I'm very pleased with this company and I believe his name was Justin who did such a great job! We had decided to have a misting system installed and after getting several estimates we went with SOP.
They came out quickly to give an estimate and once we decided to go with it they got the job done in record time.

The best customer service!  Trevor E. came out today to assist us with a clog in the main line.  Trevor was patient, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable.   We will have to have some repair work for a cracked pipe under the driveway, and the owner Brian has given us a quote.  These gentlemen have been exceptional, and they take the time to answer all our questions!  While it is no fun to have this kind of plumbing issue, we are grateful to have found such an excellent place to do our repairs.

I needed the water shut off for my fridge water line replaced. The old one was leaking and could not be shut off. They scheduled me for the next day and contacted me that day earlier than scheduled to see if they could come over early! Yes! Kyle promptly evaluated the problem, gave me a very good quote and then replaced the shut-off valve. This was not a standard compression shut-off valve that you can buy at Home Depot or Lowes, otherwise I would have done this myself. He had the correct part on his truck and was done in no time at all. I will use Second Opinion Plumbing again! They are family owned and operated.

Second opinion installed a soft water loop & water softener for me. I had a kenmore at my last house, which i thought was good. However now that I have the one this company installed i now know what a great water softener is. I could immediately tell a difference in my water & laundry. My hair feels great!
