Tony's Plumbing

This is the 2nd time Tony's Plumbing has serviced our home. Last year it was to replace our 40 year old deteriorating pipes and just today it was for our kitchen sink with a clog about 30 feet down the line.

Our service tech, Kevin came out first thing this morning and was able to clear the pipes within an hour and now we're all back to normal. If it wasn't for Kevin's high level of expertise and professionalism, along with a never give up attitude, it would have taken much longer than anticipated, as he had several challenging issues to overcome, mainly due the weird configuration of our pipes under the sink. In short, what could have taken several hours to do was cut down to about an hour and was resolved to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Tony's Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. Ask for Kevin if you can, but I'm sure their entire team of techs are worth every penny.

We've been using Tony's Plumbing for years and Jorge did an excellent job on installing a new Toto toilet and a new faucet and pop-up drain (I furnished) in our half-bath and he re-piped the old drain from our half-bath sink.

Jorge was on-time, professional, neat, thorough and efficient. He has done work at our home before and we will ask for him again.

We just severed our relationship with Tony's Plumbing after several years. We just couldn't put up with their shenanigans any longer.  We are high volume users of plumbing services and have given Tony's a lot of business (paying regular rates without getting any volume discount). There are many issues with Tony's which you should consider before hiring them:
1. Large competency variance between plumbers Tony assigns. Some are good and some are less competent than a handyman.  Tony does not provide sufficient oversight to make sure your job is done right   Depending on the luck of the draw you may end up with a very poor job.
2. Prices are high but worst yet, inconsistent. If you hire them by the hour you may be paying for a technician taking a nap in his truck (one of our managers actually caught a technician sleeping in a truck while on the clock). Getting a firm estimate from Tony doesn't mean he will honor it when the job is finished.
3. Scheduling Issues. Don't expect your job to be important to Tony and don't expect him to accommodate you. They have no appreciation for your business.
There are many good plumbers out there who will appreciate your job. Save yourself the frustrations and go elsewhere!

We couldn't let Tony's misleading and fallacious reply go unanswered:

1.  Tony originally charged us for the plumber's time while he was sleeping in his truck mid-day.  It was only after being caught red handed by our manager who provided Tony with video proof that he adjusted the time charge.  How many plumbers have you ever seen taking power naps in the middle of the day as Tony claims. His attempt to deflect the dishonesty in his organization is transparent, disingenuous and would insult anyone's intelligence.

2. The straw that broke the camel's back occurred this Monday where we had an active leak in an occupied apartment. Tony's receptionist offered a Thursday appointment (3 days later). We asked her to ask Tony to see if he can send a plumber earlier and she promised to do so and get back to us promptly.  She never called back and when we called the next day she said that she gave away our Thursday appointment (which we hoped Tony would improve on) and we would not get a plumber till the next Monday (7 days after the original call). This, of course was outrageous and we gave Tony's one more chance to make it right.  Even if Tony double booked our Thursday appointment he could have assigned someone, even on an overtime basis, to right their mistake.   But the bottom line is THEY DIDN'T CARE.

We never threatened to give Tony's a bad YELP review. Instead, he fully earned it all by himself!

So why play Russian Roulette with your plumbing needs. Go elsewhere!

We had a clogged drain that turned into a broken one and Tony's plumbing was able to come out and replace the broken pipe and jet the line by noon the next day. Fast, reliable service. They're our go to.

The whole staff at Tony's is fantastic. They fixed my tankless hot water with minimal cost. Very honest and reliable. Karen was quick to communicate and my technician Jorge was customer service oriented and went above and beyond to fix the equipment by calling the manufacturer.

Kevin came out this morning and helped us with a pipe leak. He was professional, efficient and found out the root cause if the issue. he went above and beyond what we expected.

Jorge came out to our residence for a leak behind our washer within 2.5 hours of us calling. He was on time, friendly, flexible and cleaned up after himself after the job was complete. Rates were very fair. We'll definitely be using Tony's again in the future.

We have used Tony's plumbing to service three properties and have always been very happy with the service they provide.  Kevin installed two new toilets for us today along with using a camera to check out the main line to the sewer.  As usual Kevin was very professional and knowledgeable.  He is prompt, gets the job done efficiently with a pleasant demeanor.  We appreciate the time Kevin puts in to make sure we understand what the problem is and what our options are.  The entire team did a great job today!

Tony's Plumbing sent out Kevin to look at our kitchen faucet/sink's garbage disposal & our master bathroom faucet. Kevin was able to change out the garbage disposal very quickly as well as add sealant & putty without mess left behind. It was properly aligned & now works flawlessly. Kevin was also able to go through the process of changing faucets. He pointed out what might need actual replacement versus maintenance parts. He recommended trying to change it myself & taught me how. I was able to change out both of them myself. This is knowledge I can appreciate. We are renters in the Torrance Area. On several occasions Tonys Plumbing has been out to our residence to repair minor and major plumbing issues. They have done an outstanding job and provided service far above what we have seen from other outfits in the area. The guys working in the field have been outstanding and professional, especially Jorge who has been here several times and has always been on time if not early, professional and finished everything he started. I also want to mention the owner Tony. On bigger jobs Tony has personally showed up to the job site and taken his personal time to explain to us exactly what the job will consist of and how long it will take. I will be recommending Tony and his team anyone looking for a plumber and be calling them for all my family's plumbing needs moving forward.

I had Tony's plumbing come out to look at a clogged drain. When the tech arrived and I opened the door the first words out of his mouth without seeing the job were Draining cleanings usually take multiple hours and that he charges $129 per hour. I should have closed the door but instead let him try to clear it. Despite me telling him the clog was in the vent pipe and there was an accessible cleanout, he proceeded to put the snake down every drain besides the clean out which I showed him. He did this for 30 minutes at which time I told him to open the clean out and he refused. Despite me owning the home for multiple years he kept asking me for blueprints and how I knew where the plumbing pipes were. Additionally the only other option he gave me was to cut multiple holes in my wall so he could look at the pipes. He also proceeded to give me canned lines about main sewer drains and old pipes. It really felt like he was trying to make a small job into something much bigger. I sent him home at the end of the hour and paid him the $129, despite his lack of efforts and obvious gamesmanship.

For the sake of this review I want to let you know I had another plumber come out after this one and  he was able to open the cleanout and clear the drain within 20 minutes.

Jorge was prompt and so friendly and did the job in record time. We highly recommend Tony's Plumbing and would definitely call them again!

Read several reviews and Submitted my quote request and I received a quote from Tony right away.  Tony promptly answered all my questions and the Job was scheduled three days later just before Thanksgiving and our main sewer line was successfully cleared by the technician.  Angie called me to confirm the technician was on his way that morning and she emailed me a report with the technician's notes of what he found in the main drain line.  Very prompt, Professional and clean work. I would definitely hire them again.

I've been using Tony's plumbing for many years. My hot water heater went out and I replaced it with a tankless the best decision I made concerning my water heater.  Every year I have it serviced and I've never had any issues with it.  any plumbing issues I can always rely on a service rep to show up in a timely matter. The prices have been reasonable as well. I would recommend trying them before anyone else.

these guys were recommended to me from neighbors who have been using them for 20 plus years. And they didn't disappoint. Very detailed and super service. Paul came and ensured that he educated me on the new use toilets, cleaned all the oils caulking and cleaned the area as well! We had a slow leak in our kitchen and thought it may turn into an expensive big job.  Paul came out and found the leak in our refrigerator hose and fixed it at a super reasonable price.    Very professional and friendly.   Will definitely use again!

I called Tony's Plumbing as I need my old cast iron pipes to be de-scaled along with having two clogged sinks and a clogged shower drain.  They were very responsive and super helpful.  Jimmy came out and did an amazing job on the de-scaling, and then Kevin came out and unclogged all the drains.  They were professional, fast, and very affordable.  I highly recommend Tony's Plumbing.

If I could I would give 4.5 stars, and it's only for communication issues. I got a text Tuesday that they would come Wednesday, but then got a call they'd come Tuesday afternoon. About 5 minutes later they called back and apologized that they misspoke and actually weren't coming until Wednesday. About an hour later they called again and said they'd be there in an hour. They had to come back Thursday to fix one part, and I was told they'd be there between 1 and 3pm and they got there at 8:15am. I'm very lucky I can stay home for these things, and grateful they were able to come out, but it seems like their internal communications need a bit of fine tuning.
Aside from that, Tony's was prompt, didn't overcharge me, and worked hard to squeeze us in during a holiday week to replace our broken water heater. With 3 kids, I couldn't imagine going another week without it. I'll likely use them again in the future, but will push for more clear communication. Thank you!

Called Tony's Plumbing service to come to my home to unclog a kitchen sink, The plumber they sent arrived 5 hours late, he showed up at my home smelling of liquor. He claimed that it had been a long day at the office and that he had a few drinks to unwind. I had to call another plumbing service, because this employee from Tony's Plumbing service was to drunk to unclog my sink. Tony's Plumbing service called back and offered to send another employee I declined for safety reasons
                                                 No I have the right business, and as a disabled veteran I would not recommend your business or any of your employees, for any work. The question to the public is would you trust a plumber service such as Tony's plumbing service that has a history of mystery break ins, and has numerous burglaries, and now claims that the businesses that surround it are the victims of numerous break ins. This is the one reason why you can never trust Tony's plumbing. If they can't control or protect their own business from numerous burglaries, then how can you trust any employee from not stealing you blind when they come to your home? I live less then three miles from Tony's plumbing service and have lived at this same location for 18 years, and now I discover that Tony's plumbing service by its own account is not a safe place to work, at, hire, or park your car near, because when the business starts to slow down the burglaries start up, and these employees have been to your home scoping out the valuables they can steal. They are probably submitting insurance claims for the stolen plumbing tools.I leave it up to the people to decide would you trust plumbers from Tony's who have a history of burglaries to finish your plumbing firm. I wouldn't risk the crime crew coming in to my yard. Neither should you.

Overall i was satisfied with their services. Kevin was very professional, and knowledgeable. Karen and angie offered excellent customer service. Good communication, courteous, and prompt. I hightly recommend this company.

Back in 2015, we got multiple quotes to remove our big hunk of a water heater and replace it for a tankless water heater and Tony's Plumbing, Inc came back with the best competitive price. We were very happy with their installers. Well, speed it up 7 years later, we started to have some issues. To be fair we didn't do the annual check up since we were gone for a long while. We called Tony's again and literally a representative showed up the next day and made an assessment. They sent out George (shout out to (George!!!) who did an AMAZING job!!! Super professional, knowledgeable, and provided super customer service. He called the manufacturer and found out that we were still covered under a warranty. He convinced the manufacturer to send out the parts for free and was able to come back two days later to trouble shoot and replace the parts of our tankless water heater. I cannot thank him enough!!! I had the best HOT shower after that!!! I highly recommend Tony's Plumbing and their crew for any plumbing needs. I will definitely use them again! Thank you for your dedication and awesome service

I needed new washing machine faucets installed . Tony's price was the best estimate I received. Joe from Tony's plumbing came to my house and did a quick, efficient, professional job. I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs.

Kevin & Jimmy were great.  Ran their camera into the main line to find the blockage, then ran the big snake to unclog the line.
Always wore masks & were very helpful & informative. Kevin kept me apprised of each step he was taking.
It looks like we'll need more work done to get all the roots out of the main line & see how much damage the roots did.  I'll post an update with the results.

Paul did good work but beware of the rather misleading 10% discount. Does not apply to material and not for flat rate jobs either. Turned out to be insignificant in my case.

First time I've tried this company and I was very satisfied with the results.

They rerouted my hot and cold lines around a leaking pipe in my slab. The quality of work was excellent and kudos to Edwin and Kyle.

One thing I appreciated is that they took pains to clean up the work area when they left for the day.

I plan on working with them on future projects.

We heard valves going off in the middle of the night, thinking that we had pressure issues in our pipes. Kevin came out quickly and immediately spotted the issue which was no relief valve and no regulator on our water main line, leading to up to 120 psi pressure in our water lines! Kevin was able to quote and finish the work within a week's time, and we're so grateful because we feel we've avoided a catastrophic event. Kevin was also incredibly kind, punctual and clean with his work. We won't go anywhere else for our plumbing!

Shout to Paul from Tony's Plumbing who cleared a drain for me last week.  He arrived just as scheduled, took care of the problem in no time and was on his way in less than an hour. The price was fair and I will definitely use this company again when the need arises.

I ended up calling Tony's back to get some work done on my place (because after speaking with four different plumbers, they were clearly the nicest, and actually cared to do a good job).

Carlos was courteous, on time, and got the job done as expected.  We were very satisfied with the service level that we got, and feel safe to say that if we ever need a plumber again in this area, we will be hiring Tony's!

I am very impressed with this company. Their office person (Angie) is extremely professional and efficient in responding to calls and emails. My original appointment was to service our tankless water heater. Unfortunately the prior owners of our townhouse had not done adequate servicing and we neglected it ourselves for 2 years. The end result was that instead of servicing we needed a new water heater. The plumbers who installed our new water heater were super nice and once again very professional and efficient. My husband and I strongly recommend Tony's Plumbing.

Tony's Plumbing and specifically, Kevin, were highly recommended by a friend.  Kevin and Paul came out a few weeks ago to fix our first issue and their work was meticulous! They fixed the problem and did a great job with cleaning up afterward!   Kevin came back today to work on some other issues and he is just great at what he does...from diagnosing the actual problem to doing the repair work to replacing what needs to be replaced.  We had a long list and he was able to fix everything!  He's a great problem solver and also does a great job of explaining issues so we can prevent problems in the future.  :)

Our old garbage disposal went down and we bought a replacement. But, I didn't feel like taking the old one out and installing the new one.  We used to own and manage some income property and I've done my share of that! After all, I'm retired now!  So, my Real Estate agent, Patricia Hedstrom, recommended Tony's Plumbing.  We called and Kevin came out and he was pleasant and did the job with no fuss or mess.  We'll call them again, probably when our water heater goes.

Called last minute and they squeezed us in. Kevin showed up just as quoted and considering we were a last minute booking that was fantastic as we had another obligation which really impacted our availability. Kevin asked the problem and the went right to work diagnosing the problem then got right to work fixing it. In and out in around 30-40 minutes and the cost was not what you might expect from some other plumbers. We can always count on Tony's plumbing for prompt response and quality service. I have used Tony's Plumbing for a long time.  This company never disappoints.  We just had major drainage issues, Tony from Tony's Plumbing gave me an affordable estimate and took care of the issues quickly and professionally.  I will continue using Tony's Plumbing and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I contacted Tony's Plumbing back in July to get estimates for repairs for a home we were purchasing. Tony came out, was efficient, knowledgeable and offered competitive estimates for repairs needed. Several months later, after we moved into our new home, we contacted Tony again to get an updated estimate (some things were fixed and there were some new concerns) and get the work started. Again, Tony came out to offer fair prices and we got the job scheduled.
The day the work started, Kevin H. and Juan arrived exactly on time. They were thorough, friendly, and honest as they went through the MANY repairs. They worked quickly and had all the various repairs done faster than expected.

I had a pipe leaking and they came very promptly the very same day. Mark was friendly and found the problem right away and was able to fix it quickly. Very reasonable rates.

We had a gas leak under the house near the fireplace. Called Tony's (Angie who answered was super nice and polite) they were able to send someone that day which is great. Tony's sent Kevin and a colleague (who's name I cannot remember). They fixed the leak, ensured water heater pilot was re-lit and verified all other appliances FAU's worked. Thank you Tony's, nice work!

Horrible experience. If you care about your house, do not hire this company. Plumber came in, asked to use bathroom, asked for toilet paper, and made the house smell. I asked both plumbers repeatedly to wear booties which they kept taking off because they are a safety hazard.  I asked both plumbers to change their gloves as they had grease on them. This was their third visit to my house and each time resulted in shoe scuff marks on the tile, dented and scuffed paint, a chip in the tile, a shower installation that caused water to go into the wall and dampen the other room (my kitchen floor), resulting in a chair getting wet. They were arrogant, could have cared less about my requests to maintain a clean house, and just very disrespectful. One mentioned that he had 21 years with the company and that I better watch out because I didn't know just who I was dealing with. When they weren't making repeated trips to the van to get needed parts (4 times), they were on the phone with personal calls. All of this while I am getting billed hourly. Honestly, considering small claims to recoup today's plumbing cost to replace chipped tile. Further edition: went to use the toilet they installed and it is loose. Called the company twice now and texted them to fix it ASAP or fully refund money or this will get escalated to small claims for construction defects.

I recently required a RE-pipe/ re-route following a slab leak for my property in Redondo beach. After meeting with a number of local plumbers I settled on Tony's plumbing and I couldn't be happier with their performance. They did a great job, on time, professional, and solid work. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

I got multiple quotes for this job and Tony's was the best off the bat. The others I would describe as I don't really want this job quotes, likely because it was relocating a water heater ~4 feet and not just a remove and replace (laziness). Tony's estimator and crew were both old school. I did not hesitate to ask for their business card for the next time I have any plumbing needs.

This is the third time Paul has been out to our house: once to install a toilet, once to clear a drain and install a drinking water faucet,  and once to replace a shut-off valve for our garden's sprinkler system. In each instance, he has been efficient and professional. I would recommend Tony's Plumbing and Paul in particular to anyone who needs a repair or installation done in a timely manner and at a reasonable price.

The plumber was supposed to arrive at my place between 10 am and 12 pm.  That means I made myself available from 10 am.  So I wanted 2 hrs.  He arrives at 12:07. No apology.  As I opened the door, I told him hi, you're late.  He said only 2 minutes.  I corrected him no, it's 12:07 now.  Your arrival was scheduled between 10 and 12.  I'm having a telephone meeting and can't have you around.  He left.   He could have given me a call beforehand telling me he was running late.  Or he could have said sorry I was late.  I just can't deal with people who's late and doesn't think it's a big deal.  Time is valuable. Let's respect each other's time.

I am writing this review I called several plumbers they had the best price they came the next day Paul was amazing he was professional and kind in and out let me know ahead of time everything that was going to happen! I think we have found a new plumber! Thank you so much for your business.

Kevin and Paul came out to do a Cold Water reroute for us after springing a slab leak. They were super professional and fast! Prices are fair and work is top notch. Would definitely call them for future needs.

Today I had another project to replace drainage piping under the house following a previous days job well done. Mark and Paul came out today and were very helpful. I needed my laundry washer valves replaced to accommodate my new washer/dryer install. The office receptionist was very polite and professional when booking the appointment. She explained their pricing and gave an estimate. She told me which plumber would be coming. On my appointment date they called to tell me the plumber would arrive shortly and he did. Paul did a great job and was very professional and respectful of my property. He was probably the most polite repair person I've ever worked with. Very happy with every aspect of this interaction.

Got a quote from a different company to dig up the back yard and replace our sewer line. Called Tony's Plumbing for a second opinion and they sleeved my sewer line instead of digging up the yard for half the price. I am so glad I found them on Yelp. John came out for the initial inspection and to perform the work and was very professional. Working with Angie in the office for information and scheduling was a breeze and I am extremely pleased with the whole process. I will surely contact them for all my plumbing needs! Thanks again and don't hesitate to call them for help.

Kevin and Paul did a wonderful job  replacing a leaking trap behind our Washing machine... Very quick, courteous... Went out of their way to keep the Dry Wall intact (so my final repair of the Drywall wont be a disaster!)

We had to get a new valve installed. We called Tony's and they could get a plumber out to take a look the next day. Jose showed up and was so nice, polite and courteous. He told us exactly what he was doing and what the issue was and gave us an estimated time to finish which was spot on. Would definitely recommend them and use them again if we need a plumber. They were also reasonably priced unlike some other plumbers we contacted. Thank you for all your help Jose!

Customer service was topnotch. I called and they came out the same day in a few hours. Price was beyond reasonable and they accept venmo or zelle which make transactions very easy. Angie who answered the phone was really sweet and pleasant. I will definitely use them in the future.

I have Tony's Plumbing on speed dial.  This time I had a complete kitchen sink blockage.  I requested Paul who laughingly told me when his dispatch told him my address he knew exactly what he was in for.  Little did he know just HOW MUCH he was in for.  He was out here for 2 hours on Tuesday trying to diagnose the problem so he ended up coming back today with another associate. His associate was Paul #2 although #2 told me he was really #1 due to seniority.  HOWEVER.  My Paul #1, after crawling under my house and pounding and sawing and drilling for over an hour, unfortunately got an entire face/hair/earful of the most God-awful black, sludgy stinky sludge that poured out on top of him.  Oh my gosh.... he was covered in this slimy stinky stuff!! God bless his tenacity in solving my problem.  I have used Tony's (and Paul) for many many years and would never think of using anyone else

Had a hot water heater replaced in my garage. Tony came out, was cordial and quickly got me a quote. Work was done on a Friday and thought the work was done well until I closed up the garage and suddenly it smelled like gas. Thought it was just the system burning off some gas. Saturday it was bad as was Sunday. Monday comes around and Tony's sends someone out to check what's up. Turns out, something was not tightened completely (which would explain why I couldn't hear a hiss like a pipe leak). It was fixed, and I was compensated $100 for the hassle.

Our home needed a new regulator and pressure release valve for our main water line. Tony visited our home to inspect and quote the work. He explained what was needed and how the work was to be completed. The following day, Kevin came to perform the work. He had all the details of the project, and completed the work swiftly, with a clean finish. The project was quick and painless, something rarely heard of with home maintenance. Thanks!

Tony's Plumbing installed a new tankless system at my house.  They worked with the city, and the system passed inspection without any issues.  They do quality work, and I would highly recommend them.

We've used Tony's twice. Once for a large job relocating a sump, pump and a bit of new plumbing pipe to connect it all. The second to repair a leak at our main. They are fast, professional and fairly priced. They've always cleaned up and left the area they work in near and tidy. We've recommended them to friends and neighbors many times with the same results.

Called Tony's Plumbing last week and Mark showed up on time.  He moved our gas range line quick, effective and very professional.  Highly recommend!

Had a water main leak that grew into a huge water bill. Got a very competitive estimate from Tony's Plumbing and scheduled the job. The crew arrived on time (9am) and got started immediately. Sod pulled back, trenched, and cut tree roots that would block an alternate routing for the main. Main was repaired, sod replaced and yard cleaned up by 3pm. Edwin, Jose, Jimmy, and Robert provided great service quickly, cleanly, and a fair rate.

Tony and his team go above and beyond. They came and fixed my drain pipes, which was underneath the house, in the small, tiny, micro crawl space. A few days later, after the water from the broken pipes had been absorbed ,  his team came back to lay out one hundred pounds of dry sand and a whole bunch of lime to kill off anything that might be contaminated from the broken pipe.
Now everything is fixed, no smell, and no drain flies to be seen from the sewage!

That was tough work!!!!

After more than enough pin hole leaks I decided to get my house re-piped.  I invited 8 firms to submit bids.  Out of 8 plumbing companies only 5 responded, then only 3 submitted quotes.

Tony's quote was in the middle of the pack but a few things stood out.  

First, Tony himself came out to look at the house before submitting a quote (the only owner that did).

Second, I was absolutely sure he was being honest and upfront about the work he proposed in the bid.  

Third, he said the job would take two days (as did everyone else) but that the water would only be off during the second day (in fact the water was only off about 2/3rds of the second day).

Lastly, he offered to pull the required permits from the city said he would be present when the city inspector came by to sign off the work.

ALL of the guys he sent over (5 on day 1 and 4 on day 2) were polite and all business.  As long as Tony owns the company I'll be a customer.

Kevin should up on time and we are very satisfied with his service.  He inspected extensively under our house for what we suspected was a leaking pipe.  Fortunately, there was no leak and everything was dry.  While he was here, he installed a kitchen sink filter and gave some great cost-saving recommendations for a few small plumbing projects we are considering.

Mark and Danny came out and fixed my kitchen drain and garbage disposal in no time. I was annoyed because my husband had been traveling, I'd been using a bunch of home remedies that didn't work and i wanted him to come home to a clean and comfy home. After i called and told them what was going on, they came out, snaked the drain, helped me understand the issue, made recommendations on what to do better in the future and everything was fixed in no time. I was worried that as a woman, any plumber I called would try to hustle me but this was not the case with Mark and Danny.

I will definitely save their contact info. I feel very comfortable using their services again and referring them to anyone. It's such a relief to find a good company, with quality and respectful people. When Mark was showing me the issue, he didn't talk down to me or over charge me because I'm a woman; which a previous plumber did the day before so I had to ask him to leave without even touching the sink.

We were having some plumbing issues with our toilet one morning and I called Tony's, they told me they would send someone at around 1pm. About an hour later they called me again and said they had someone in the area so I rescheduled and they arrived right on time! Both Jimmy and Paul were so kind and courteous, they took the time to show me what the problem was and what they were going to do. We live close to the area so it's refreshing to find someone local and fair! Definitely will be calling for all our plumbing needs.

Earlier in 2018, Tony and his crew came out to repipe my house. They did a great job, arriving on time, identifying and fixing the problems that surfaced during the repipe, cleaning up after job was done. I appreciated
that he had the right amount of plumbers doing the work to complete in a timely manner.

This month, Sept 2019, Mark and Jimmy came out to install a new toilet and washlet. Again, arrived on time, had to do some extra work under the house to remove an old pipe and replaced new flanges, and cleaned up when they were done.  Thank you, Tony. Came home from a weekend away to find the hot water heater had stopped working. The plumber we'd been using for 10 years couldn't help us for two days. Found Tony's based on NextDoor recommendations. Checked the Yelp reviews & gave them a call. Within 2 hours of calling Tony's, Paul was at my door. He looked at the 21yo unit, and suggested trying the most inexpensive repair first to see if that was the problem instead of jumping to you need a new hot water heater. Paul replaced the thermocouple and the hot water heater is fixed! Paul has earned Tony a new customer!

Tony's plumbing is excellent and reliable. Needed a last minute sewage line inspection and they responded quickly to schedule the appointment. Angie communicated with me throughout and was very helpful. I find them to be honest and their pricing is also competitive.

Okay, so Tony is like the Vince Lombardi of plumbing professionals. If you ever read When Pride Mattered you'll get the analogy. Suffice it to say that this is the company you want to handle your gravity flow challenges. I had some fairly beguiling Golem in the Gears stuff going on with my plumbing. Not the easy slow drain leaking faucet stuff. I mean like just weird annoying noisy funky stuff like what the heck is that ...?. Well Tony's sent over their in house McGyver guy, John. It took him a few minutes but I have say; problem solved.

Mark came and installed my new touch kitchen faucet and disposed of the old one.  This was his second visit here.  Snaked my drain before.  Very professional and did a great job!

We have used Tony's Plumbing three times in the past year. He came highly recommended, but we are tough customers and it takes a lot to impress us.... Tony was prompt, honest, very knowledgeable and personable. He took time to listen to our concerns and explain in detail what needed to be done. He payed close attention to your needs and made sure we understood the necessary steps in the service. Things were finished in a timely manner, with expertise and care. Had a swimming pool built and needed to have earthquake shutoff valve installed on gas meter. Mark came out this morning within the time window and did a great job. He completed the installation in less that 1 1/2 hours then checked all the gas appliances to make sure everything was working properly before he left. Plus he was a very pleasant guy.

I had a pin hole leak in my copper water line and called Tony's Plumbing at 8am. They estimated Mark would be at my house between 10am-12 noon.  Mark showed up at exactly 10am and got right to work replacing a section of copper pipe.  Mark worked quickly even though he had to crawl under the house into a very tight space.  Even though Mark was covered in mud and dirt when he came out from under the house, he had always had a smile on his face.  I would highly recommend Tony's Plumbing.

Paul is the best!  Had a slow leak from around the base of the toilet.  He arrived early (how great is that for a service call) explained the problem, fixed the problem and charged a reasonable rate.  The bathroom was spotless when he left.

Yesterday, I developed a copper exterior pipe leak. Since it was a Saturday, it was damn near impossible finding a plumber.

Finally, I spoke to a young lady by the name of Ana, affiliated with Tony's Plumbing. I have no idea her age or business background but Anna could not have been more helpful. She was empathetic, professional and ethical. She also had a tremendous sense of humor which was completely relevant to the situation. Exactly what I needed at the moment. Two plumbers, Mark and a younger trainee were dispatched and repairs were made immediately and expertly.

Thank you Miss Ana for your politeness, professionalism and more importantly, your sense of humor. I'd hire you in my business in a heartbeat.  As to the plumbers, those two guys were the best!!!

I had two items that needed repair, one of which was an emergency under-the-house water leak (in the crawlspace) and the other was a stopped drain for the water softener (and not an emergency).

I called at 8AM and spoke to Karen. She and Tony's Plumbing had a plumber at my door by 9AM...THE SAME DAY! Awesome!

Our plumber was Anthony (apparently not the same Tony as the business name might imply). He was very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. When he told me that he enjoyed this line of work because he treated it as art, I was impressed with his attitude and work ethic.

He diagnosed the leak very promptly (a large pinhole leak in a 3/4 copper line) and suggested a simple replacement of the bad section of copper piping. He had that successfully fixed in about 30 minutes.

Next, Anthony went after the drain problem. That was also solved in about 30 minutes, however, he needed to attack the problem from two different directions. Fixed, nonetheless!

Anthony also did a great job of cleaning up after his work.

In the end, no muss, no fuss, exceptional service, professionalism, and efficiency! The price (although priceless!) was also exceptionally reasonable.

I requested a quote on a small job regarding the water heater vent pipe.  A gentleman stopped by and talked to my wife.  She said he was right on time and very cordial. She also indicated that he fixed my problem with the vent pipe within a few minutes and made a suggestion to get some plumber's duct tape to make it secure.  My wife was very grateful and asked how much and he indicated no charge!!!  I asked who it was and she said she didn't get his name, but believes it was the boss, Tony.  Tony, if you're reading this, I really appreciate what you did and you are my plumber from now on.

Found Tony's through a special deal on a camera inspection.  In the middle of a water damage rebuild and wanted to check that the sewer pipes were okay.  Prompt, friendly, efficient.  Suggested options for the sewer line, from very simple and inexpensive up to major work.  Simple will work for now.

Pointed out a couple of other things that could be fixed, but not pushy (couldn't do it right then).  Made arrangements for another day.

I just had Mark from Tony's Plumbing service my hot water dispenser that is leaking. He was early for my appointment and quickly diagnosed the problem. Mark showed me how to replace the tiny part I need to order from the manufacturer. I recommend Tony's!! They also installed the Nuvo water filtration system on the main line of my house four years ago.

I borrowed my friend's Angie's list subscription to find someone to repair my water heater.  I chose to call Tony's because they were local and had an excellent rating.  The lady on the phone was polite and helpful and said someone would be available in the afternoon.  I was in touch a couple times throughout the day and she said she'd call when she had someone on the way. However, by 3:30, I had heard nothing.  I called the company and she said I was out of luck because her technicians had gone home for the day.  I guess I missed a text message from her earlier, but I had asked for a phone call because I don't have access to my cell at work to check texts.  She wasn't apologetic for leaving me hanging and they will never get a second chance from me.

Very efficient and easy to work with. I called Tony's several times in the past 4 years for plumbing work at an old fourplex I have in San Pedro, and they have always been great!

We purchased the $99 voucher off of another site for a tune-up for our tankless water heater (which was a few years overdue for this service...), and we were contacted the next day by their scheduler to confirm out first choice of the time slot we had indicated. Their guy (forgot his name) was professional and friendly. He explained the process of how they performed this procedure, and the process went off without any hitches. Will use Tony's again in the future.

If you don't pay in 9 days, this could happen to you!  I first saw Tony's Plumbing on Angie's List with a few good reviews so I decided to let the pros work on my new house since plumbing is not my strong suit.  Tony came out after I called and looked around the place and said his guys would switch out some faucets and install my washer and dryer.  I thought it would be an easy job but I figured since this house was older there might be some issues.  The guys who came were very polite.  My only complaint was that they installed a new faucet that I purchased into the bathroom and the lever to close the drain didn't work.  After they finished the first day, they got two of the broken showers functioning and had finished with the washer/dryer install.  My girlfriend was so excited to finally shower in our bathroom (as only one shower was functioning when we moved in).  When she was done, my son came running out of another bathroom to tell me that the toilet wouldn't flush and was about to overflow.  When I checked that bathroom and the others, they had all backed up into the toilets and showers!  I called Tony immediately to tell him what was going on and he was immediately defensive, telling me how that wasn't THEIR fault.  I told him that I called to ask for help, not to accuse them of any wrong-doing!?  He said that he'd be able to possibly send guys in the morning.  I told him that my kids and I needed to shower and use the toilet (as it was only 6pm) and he said there was nothing he could do.  So I said can you at least refer me to SOMEONE that CAN help?? and he said I don't know??  Try Roto-Rooter or someone like that BUT they're gonna charge you a lot... OR you can wait until the morning.  The advice wasn't very helpful so with the help of a friend I was snaking my line with a Home Depot rental until 10:30pm.  Ugh.  A couple days later the guys showed up to finish the work (installing the kitchen faucet and checking up on the washer).  They had asked us to test the washer/dryer after they left last time and we told them it flooded the entire wash room and drained into my pool.  They said that the drain was probably sealed shut and that I may have to dig up my bedroom to get a new line in.  However there was an old drain for a sink in the wash room and they tapped into that line to get the washer hooked up to drain properly.  (However, if they had checked the two drains prior to installing the first one it would have saved me a boatload of money in labor).  Anyway, when they installed my kitchen faucet I asked the guys to throw a bead of caulk around the faucet and sink (since they're the pros) and they said no problem.  When they left, the washer was working great and the kitchen was done but they didn't throw the caulk in.  So my realtor had asked me how things were going and he mentioned that he knew someone at Tony's Plumbing.  I mentioned the few issues and he called his buddy John and John called me back.  He came out and corrected bathroom faucet by telling me that the old sink needed to be drilled out in order to make the latch work.  Shouldn't that have been done initially anyway??  He also said that they don't caulk around the kitchen sink anymore because there's a gasket underneath.  I said that's fine but I asked for caulk and didn't get it.  He said they don't do that.  Why wouldn't they simply caulk around my sink if I ask?
So anyway, he drops off an envelope with the invoice which sat on my counter for a couple days until I opened it and was shocked at the $3200+ bill!  The guys were nice and all but I thought it was a big excessive.  Almost $900 in parts and it wasn't itemized?  (I purchased all of the faucets myself at Home Depot?!)  So I have been busy at work and I decided to wait until my next paycheck to send them a check.  No biggie right??  WRONG.  Mandy from Tony's Plumbing started calling my cell phone and work number the following week looking for payment.  I was in a meeting when Walter, Tony's Plumbing is on line 3 was announced over the intercom.  That was odd.  Anyway I was going to call her back the following day when I had a chance to give her a credit card instead to be done with this.  Later that afternoon/evening there's a knock at my door and THERE'S TONY.  I said hi and we shook hands and he said he was there to pick up a check for the job.  I couldn't believe he was at my door to collect?!  I said I had heard from Mandy and was going to call back.  I asked if he took credit cards and he said that was would charge me an additional 3+%.  I said fine then I'll send a check and he said he wasn't leaving without payment.  (I had the strange feeling that my kneecaps would be broken if I didn't write a check.)  So I told him I'd pay him but I wasn't entirely pleased with the work and price.  He pointed out how John came out and didn't charge me for looking down my drain with a camera to show me roots.  Somehow I feel that was covered in this $3200 invoice.

My experience was horrible!
First of all, Tony came to do an estimate and emailed us the following day for $495 quote for installing two faucets, 1 kitchen faucet, and bath tub shower head. We were fine with the quote and proceed in booking the appointment the following week. Meanwhile I discovered on yelp that the company is doing a 10% off promotion for services. I called and spoke to the lady about the 10% discount that i saw on Yelp, she said no problem, she will put a note to my account and that they will apply that toward the final bill. I was happy that they are easy to work with and honor the discount that they listed on yelp. However, on the day of service, I called again to reconfirm the total bill as I need to prepare a check for them when they finish the job. The lady told me, oh, that $495 already included the 10% discount. I told her where on the invoice does it say? NOWHERE. I explained to her that i called the week before and they had agreed to provide 10% discount because it is what its listed on yelp. But no, she said the price they quote us was included already and she saw no note on my account regarding this conversation the last week. And minutes later, I received an updated invoice with a line added service was already included 10% discount, and original price would have been $550.
This is an alert! Regardless that 10% discount listed on yelp, they can just price it at whatever and claimed that the quote is already included the discount.
Since i did not want to wait further to get the job done, I said fine, go ahead and do the job and we will pay $495. Guess what, they ended up up charge another $15~30, saying that we are missing a part or whatever. When Tony came do the estimate earlier, we showed him all the parts that we will be installing to our faucets/bath tub. He said they are fine. I feel like the estimate doesn't really count, they just find ways to charge you more.
Also, one of the review said they clean up the area after. DID not happen to me. Our restroom was full of dust and trash after the job is done.
Couple weeks later I had to call them back to fix the stopper on one of the faucet as the stopper does not go completely up/down. I also had to replace another faucet, so I made an appointment for Tony to come by to get estimate on that and also fix the stopper. The appointment was set up to be on Monday, but no show. I called the office and the lady said there was no appointment on there. WHAT!?! I just wasted 2 hours of my morning waiting for him. However I was able to speak to Tony over the phone, he said price would be very similar to the previous job.
So, 2nd time they are in my house, they quickly fix the stopper (which still not working property even they tried to fix it). The guy only spend less than 45 min in replacing the faucet and fixing the stopper, again no clean up at all. AND they charge $150 plus another $25 for some part that needed to be purchased from them. So, basically total of $175 for an less an hour job. My husband paid for it. I was very unsatisfied of the price and also the service received. I called the office, the lady said the job is 1 hour $95 and our job should just be 1 guy coming to the house.
After all these, I hope you understand this company's quality is unknown (leaving mess and faucet not working properly), as well as the estimate they quote you is just to get your business. The end, they always find ways to charge you more. Worst is, they don't keep their promises.
I was very happy to be able to find a reputable plumbing company in the south bay from all the good reviews on yelp and angie's list. But now, I wonder if those reviews are all fake.....

I have finally found a plumber I can trust. We've used Tony's about a half dozen times now and always gotten great honest service from Jimmy and Paul and another Paul too.

Impressed how quickly they came out. Rates are very reasonable. Quick in finding a solution and options. My future go to for plumbing issues

We've used Tony's before and have had the owners son, as well as today, Mark.  So far, each one of them seem to be very knowledgeable about their trade.  Additionally, their staff is very courteous and helpful.  Today we needed a toilet to be reset and sealed and a part that was corroded, replaced.  Luckily, Mark had the part in his truck and was able to do the job in a timely matter.  I've found this family run business to be very reputable and reasonable.   Will definitely continue to use them in the future!

We've used this company twice in the last couple months. Mark came out today and cleared up the issues upstairs and keep me laughing all the while. Paul came out last month and repaired our master bath toilet issue...oh the joy of owning an older home :-). These guys were great; they really know what there doing. I've put Tony's Plumbing on speed dial for any future plumbing needs.

Had a completely blocked kitchen sink. Took off the trap, but it was clear so that meant call an expert. Paul came out today and took care of it no problem. On time, friendly, answered all my questions and charged a reasonable rate, everything explained in advance. Got an invoice I could understand.  Can't ask for more than that. I'll definitely call Tony's the next time I need a plumber and will pass the word!

I called Tony's to have a galvanized drain replaced with ABS and upsize the diameter to accommodate a quick drain walk in tub. Keven1 came to do the job(with an assistant) and they very expertly completed the work in 5 hours. The tub now drains very well with the new oversized piping. As before I am very pleased with Tony's plumbing!

Called Tony's plumbing and found the phone operator courteous who answered my initial questions easily [had called another company & was put on hold twice during my call & getting questions answered felt hard].  Paul came & handled our work both professionally & efficiently.  Was knowledgeable & courteous. Should I need a plumber, I will call them again. Thanks Paul!

I had a pretty minor issue of a rattling pipe.  Of course the noise didn't present itself when the plumber (Mike) came out.  He still jumped up into the attic which was pretty hot during these warm days, checked everything out and added a few straps as a precaution.  Everything has been fine, the company seemed very professional and someone I'd call again if there were any more plumbing problems.

I contacted Tony's to try to fix a balky kitchen faucet and to install a replacement filter for my hot water dispenser. The people they sent were on time and were clean, neat and polite. I was informed that the faucet could not be fixed and needed to be replaced so I had them install the replacement filter which they did promptly and quickly.  Best of all they did not charge me for the service.  I will definitely call them the next time I need any plumbing work.

Great service and price by this very professional outfit.Had an old toilet and vanity taken out,and new ones put in.Mark was our plumber and was fantastic.I can't recommend this company enough.

I can recommend Tony's without hesitation.  A real person answers their phone.  On the third ring.  I got a next day appointment (Best Buy offered three days away!), with a one-hour window (not the four hours offered by others).  Mark arrived on time - in fact, at the beginning of the one-hour window.  He diagnosed and fixed the problem with my dishwasher and, while still within the one hour minimum, snaked out the kitchen drain, as well.  The charge was as quoted.  He kept me posted on what he was doing at all times, and cleaned up afterward.  We will call them again.

Worked was performed on time and efficiently.  I am a perfectionist and even the smallest details missed can be bothersome. But I can say Tony's plumbing exceeded my expectations especially in an industry that is so difficult to find good work. Definitely will be using them again in the future should I need anymore plumbing work done.

I am writing again within 1 week to sing the praises of Tony's Plumbing who helped us with 2 new problems today.  Paul was very pleasant and very competent, and did a thorough job in a reasonable timeframe.  Also, the price was very reasonable.  This is our first experience with a plumbing company that offers reasonable prices and who are more focused on building customer loyalty than lining their pockets.  What a breath of fresh air.  Thanks Tony's Plumbing!

I could not be more pleased with Tony's Plumbing.  I've utilized their services a few times over the last couple of years.  The most recent was 2/15/18 when I asked them to take fix a slow drain in the bathroom sink and check the sewer line with their camera.  The service has been consistently excellent with each person I've come in contact throughout the process.  They show up on time, perform their work professionally, charge reasonable rates and even offer helpful suggestions.  I also respect their honesty and integrity.  I've never felt pressured to do something that isn't necessary.  Keep up the great work guys.

This was the first time were have used Tony's Plumbing and were very satisfied. Called in the AM and got an appointment that afternoon. Mark was very efficient and thorough in replacing a line that caused a dishwasher backup. Before he left, he ran the dishwasher to make sure the problem was solved. Called this morning about a leaking dishwasher. After describing what we thought was the problem, we were given a two hour window and a generally quote. Mark showed up on time and quickly assessed and fixed the problem. Mark was professional and knowledgeable. We will be calling Tony's Plumbing again when we need a plumber and we will be recommending them to others.

After years of fighting root intrusion into my mainline sewer pipe I decided it was time to replace, reline or pipe burst. I received bids from 4 qualified plumbers with experience in this area. Digging up the old pipe was not an option due to cost and depth of my mainline. Pipe bursting was also an expensive solution because of the depth of holes that were required and the multiple turns that my mainline pipe makes. The normal practice to line the sewer is to blow the liner down the old pipe, but that can cause problems at the turns. Also, the normal liner cannot withstand roto-rooting. John from Tony's Plumbing evaluated my situation and said they could PULL a new liner, without digging up my yard, and his liner is tough enough to withstand roto-rooting. Tony's is the only plumber in the South Bay that uses this type of liner that you pull. They did an excellent job, left the work site clean. Their cost for this better quality liner was the same as for the blown liner from the other 3 plumbers. If you have a mainline sewer problem I totally recommend Tony's Plumbing.

no one wants to call the plumber.  i bet most calls are the result of an emergency and you're just bracing yourself for the damage to your wallet, as well as hoping the damage to your home will revert back to its normal state.

the wife and i had faced two separate incidents of leaking, cheap grade, copper piping (that live in our walls), causing damage to the drywall.  the first time was a week before Thanksgiving; a week before we were expecting family and friends over.  with our saturday morning ruined, we frantically did some research on Angie's List and found Tony's.  grateful they had an employee available to come over right away, our immediate troubles were resolved.

less than a year later, and just a couple feet away from the first pipe burst, another disaster.  this time we noticed the bubbled ceiling and dripping of water on a friday evening.  it was a bit late but i called Tony's, anyway.  well, someone answered the phone!  AND, they would send someone out the very next morning.  thank God.

both times the gentlemen that worked on our home were professional, clean and quick.  they answered all of our questions and gave us advice on when we should patch up the giant, gaping holes in our ceiling, i.e. let the wood beams dry before sealing up the mess.  anyway, if you need an honest plumber w/ reasonable prices, Tony's is the place to call.

I cannot say enough about Tony and his staff. From his office staff to his technicians they were all pleasant to work with. I needed a plumber asap and called several plumbers in the area who said they were too busy. I called Tony's plumbing and spoke with Mandy. She listened to what I needed fixed and said she would talk with the owner Tony. Tony called me back and was honest about how busy they were, but was willing to come out to assess the job. He said he was in our area and stopped by within the hour of my call. He said he needed to go back to his office and check his crews schedule to see if they could fit us in and to write up the estimate. I received an email that evening with his estimate and I called the next morning to let Mandy know I agreed with the estimate. (very fair pricing) Tony made it happen and had his technicians came over! Mark, Jimmy & Drew are professionals and what an awesome team. I was very pleased with the work they performed and while under our house Mark noticed a leak with our main water pipe. Tony was notified, he came over to my house and explained the situation to my husband and I. We again agreed with his quote. Mark replaced the pipe within a reasonable amount of time and could not be happier with their service. I have recommended Tony's Plumbing to others. Matter of fact, my mother in law called Tony's and a plumber came out the same day. He replaced her leaky bathroom sink pipe and while he was there she told him about her toilet. He fixed it too. She was very happy with the service.

My search for a good plumber is over; Tony's plumbing is top notch.

when you have an emergency in your home and you need the support of a service company that can help you, to have someone you know and trust as a resource is invaluable. tony's plumbing is just such a business and when i called, he came. and when i needed some pretty complex and invasive repairs he explained the process with patience and when i needed a great crew to come in and do the repairs, they were there within 24 hours and they were awesome, kind, understanding of my emotional state and so experienced and efficient i can't say enough about them. thank you tony and your amazing team: mark, jimmy and mike. if there were more than five stars to give i would give them more!

Tony's Plumbing was referred to me by my leasing agent for my rental in Torrance. I needed a new shower. Tony himself went to the site, provided me with an estimate and installed our shower. Little did I know that every other job, previously completed by another plumbing company, had to be redone. Mandie and Angie provided me with estimates in a timely manner and scheduling with them was a breeze. This is especially important considering I live in northern Ca and could not oversee any of this work personally. And obviously had been scammed by the above referenced plumbing company. My property manager checked  the work after each job and all jobs were performed correctly and competently THE FIRST TIME.  My home was left in exact condition they found it. Jobs completed by Tony's plumbing include rebuilding of toilets, proper installation of washer and dryer including new hot/cold spigots connected to hoses, water heater secured and brought up to code, dishwasher installation and probably a few more things that I cannot recall. Tony's plumbing is my go to for my rental. I am so grateful I found this company. Excellent work and excellent customer service. Highly recommend this company.

I finally found an honest plumber! Tony's plumbing is an honest company! I only write good reviews if the service is exceptional and Tony's is exceptional.  I want to thank Paul of Tony's plumbing for his outstanding job.  I had 2 slow running drains in my bathroom.  Before I called Tony's I had another plumbing company come out and take a look at the problem.  The other  plumber told me I needed a power wash to flush out the problem because the problem was too severe for a snake.   His estimate was $400.  I told him no and I needed a second opinion.  I then called Tony's plumbing and Paul showed up the same day. He was so nice and pleasant. I could tell he was a good man.  Within a few minutes, Paul said there was just a normal buildup of material in the drains and he cleaned them out without even needed to use a snake.  The bill was ¼ of what the other plumber wanted me to pay and my drains were completely cleaned out. They run perfect now!  Stick with Tony and Paul. They are honest and not rip-off artists.

I used Tony's Plumbing yesterday as my water heater stopped working early in the morning.  Tony's Plumbing had fabulous customer service and had a rep out IMMEDIATELY. I never felt that they were ripping me off.  Quality work and on time!!
