Three professional plumber's came and diagnosed our issue in a matter of minutes even though it was a big job. Our main sewer line was not only backed up but broken. These guys took care of it in a short period of time and I didn't have to be there. They were so professional and courteous I was very surprised they didn't try to rip us off like other companies. I have already lined them up for another job and have them on speed dial for any other future issues. I would give this company 10 stars

I am so impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail on the installation of my storm door. Extremely professional and bar none the best phone call I've made for service in MANY years. I will always recommend this company and will continue to use them for years! Polite, reliable, professional - can't beat that.

Contacted Ray to replace my kitchen faucet since the original one was still in there. The house was built in the 60s. It took a lot of work since original valves were pretty rusted. Ray did an awesome job replacing the faucet and the garbage disposal. I definitely recommend him. He's professional and was wonderful work with. He's my new plumber!!

I have contacted West Austin Handyman twice now for a couple of pool issues related to damage that resulted from the freeze that happened a while ago. He responded quickly and did not waste any time to order the part I needed and have it installed.
The second time I was not in town, but he was willing and able to go to the house and diagnose the issue and again ordered and installed the part quickly.
I am looking to use him as my go to handyman for my rental properties due to his great communication and efficiency. I recommend others use him too.

Over the summer, Steve's really helped us out in a pinch when water started bubbling up from under our driveway. The tricky part is that it happened just after we left for a week's vacation, and I found out about it when a neighbor left me a phone message I picked up when the plane landed in our vacation destination city. (Talk about panic.) I called Steve's, and they very helpfully coordinated with my neighbor (who had a key) to get water leak fixed, have the repair checked out by the City (since it involved a City water main connection), and patched up. It was all taken care of by the time we got home from vacation. SO happy. Now, a great deal of the credit for all this goes to my wonderful neighbor, but big thanks also to Steve's for going with the flow and being flexible in working with my neighbor (at my request) to get things fixed. (I'm thinking it helped that we were established customers rather than someone they had never worked with before.)
Thanks, Steve's!

Eddie and Mike did a great job for us in fixing a leak in our upstairs bathroom. Communication was good and work was solidly done.

No complaints here. We were scheduled with this service by Lowe's, upon purchasing a dishwasher. We did have to wait 3 weeks from the day of purchasing until the actual installation, but the scheduled call went smoothly. Our technician was John K. He was very polite, explained all he did, and gave us a brief overview about the unit. Thank you John!

OK. We are a member with this company by paying for 3 years of on call service. Recently we called them to help with a clogged drain in a sink. They scheduled us 5 days out. OK not really helpful.
But then when the guy showed up, he said that the drain is clogged. He will have to diagnose and fix and it will cost me $139. Hello! I called them to look into the clogged drain. He did not provide me with any new information. When I protested, he just left!
Never going with this company again.

Jason Hunter @ South By Plumbing A+++++
I had a leak in my water main and spent days trying to even find someone to answer the phone or return my call. I saw Jason at a job he was doing and I spoke with him and told him of my trouble and made an appointment for him to stop by my house and assess the issue. He quoted me a flat rate and I hired him on the stop. He and a helper were here in the morning and dug it out and made the repair in a few hours time. Professional, Prompt, Courteous and Reliable. I found my Plumber!

We were forced to use these people by Texas farm bureau. They refused to share a copy of their findings. When we were forced to use them to replace a valve in our home they damaged the plumbing system and caused a reduction in pressure of 25 psi. It has been over a month and they have not even attempted to rectify it. They are also causing the possibility of TOXIC mold in our home by not being honest all because Texas Farm Bureau is pulling their strings. As a Master Plumber myself, this is the most unethical company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

A story regarding a simple water leak in the kitchen. Water bubbled up in area in front of the sink and dishwasher. Elmer sent a plumber who rang the doorbell, listened to my description of water on the floor, then retreated to his truck for a phone consultation with his boss. He returned to my porch and quoted a price near $900 to continue with leak detection services. I declined his offer and called Elmers. The service manager said the price was justified because the leak could be caused by a cold water pipe, or a hot water pipe, or caused by a leak in the concrete foundation. True enough. But it could have been caused by tunneling burglars or an earthquake, but it wasn't. I said I didn't think I should have to pay the $59 service fee, since the plumber never entered the kitchen to take a look at the wet floor. The manager explained that the service fee was for showing up, but looking at the kitchen was leak detection and he wouldn't do that until I agreed to the nearly $1000 starting charge. I protested, pointing out that the only property of mine touched by his employee was my doorbell and my credit card. Anyway, my wife wiggled the dishwasher out and we saw a corroded copper pipe spraying a nice little stream. Eventually cost about $185 to have repaired.
