S & S Cabinets did an excellent job refinishing the kitchen, bath and utility room cabinets in our home.  Sabin and his crew are professional and trustworthy.  The job was completed on time, the work areas were left neat and clean, and there were  no variations from the quoted price.  We changed the color dramatically, from white-washed maple to a hickory color, and we couldn't be happier that we chose S & S.

We've done several kitchen remodels over the years in the Phoenix area and each time it was kind of a pain trying to decide which cabinets to choose.  Our experience with Chris was a welcome change.  He knew immediately which type of cabinets would look right for the house as well as had great advice on how to tie the entire kitchen in with the rest of the house.  He also made some recommendations to save us money throughout the project (i.e. which sizes were standard and which ones would cost more to custom cut).  His installers were very professional as well.  We will be calling him back when it's time for our next project.

Maybe they don't read the messages sent via the inquiry section of their own webpage or they are so busy they don't need any more work. Either way, I shouldn't have to work so hard to be a customer...

We worked with Nathan to do a half kitchen remodel, doubling our cabinet space and moving  appliances to more functional locations.  Nathan was very helpful with design recommendations and worked patiently with us as we changed appliance choices several times.  He went above and beyond to make sure our project was done in a timely manner and to his and our high standards.  We're very happy with Nathan and HG Cabinets Direct and would recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality remodeling professional.

Had a complete kitchen design by C&F to the tune of $15k. It came out beautifully in the end but full installation took over a month due to the cabinets coming damaged from the manufacturer and the handles being installed poorly and falling off. Most annoying though was that the designer from C&F didn't properly build the cabinets to hold the Ceasarstone countertops we had always planned on using. We ended up having to contract out a separate steelmaker to make a custom piece to place underneath the counters for an extra $1000. When we asked C&F if they could help take care of the cost of this unforeseen expense due to their design flaw, the owner of C&F just defended the designer and took no responsibility for the mistake. Very disappointing customer service experience with them overall.

This is a local family owned business. They have multiple locations throughout the valley. I buy and sell a lot of real estate for clients and always refer this company to my clients. What makes them so great is how easy they are to get ahold of and also can ship to you directly from their own warehouse. Additionally they actually have everything in stock!

Our kitchen remodel was a challenge, but they met it head on and worked their magic- it's beautiful. They take pride in the work they do and it shows. Marc is a wood wizard!  My maple cabinets were from 1957 and he beautifully turned them to a luscious, darker color, updating my kitchen and bathrooms to 2020.  It took four samples and a lot of patience on Marc's part, but he hit the nail on the head with the fifth sample.  Part of the problem  was my ignorance on the ways of wood and what I really wanted.  Punctual, professional and meticulously done in four days. No overspray, missing pieces or mess when he left.  I could stay in my home during the process without bad smells.  He went beyond, like closing a 1/4 inch gap between my cabinets, putting scribe where he thought necessary, reinforcing a loose piece, putting cushion spots where necessary, and leaving me with some extra stain for later touch-ups.  Plus, he  traveled cross-town several times to meet with me. Neighbors have labelled  my cabinets with words like stunning, beautiful, amazing, and a simple Wow!.  Marc is easy to work with and considers his work to be part artistry, part chemistry, part instinct. I agree.  He takes pride in the finished product and leaves nothing undone.  Reasonably priced.  Don't hesitate, call for an estimate now!

Just as everything was starting to get weird I decided to get sliding shelves in my kitchen.  Shelf Theory had amazing reviews! I gave them a call and Dawn came out and did all the measuring and talked me through some ideas to meet my needs.  She gave me a quote on the spot!  It was a very fair price!  We had them installed and I cannot tell you how much I love them! They have made my life in the kitchen so much easier.  They are well made and were installed by a very professional two man crew! I could go on and on!

This company has horrible customer service and employee training. I stopped in to get a quote on my kitchen remodel I was working on. Set up an appointment with Chris who met me at the project (he was 10 minutes late for his appointment) took an hour of my time measuring and talking about layout and placement of every cabinet and appliance. We chatted about blue island and white cabinets in a shaker style by Highland. Over a week goes by and still no quote via email so I call thinking he must of misspelled my email. Spoke with a man who advised Chris was out of the office ill and he had no paperwork of my job that I needed quoted. I asked for Chris to call me when he got back into the office. Received a call quickly back advising that Chris had no recollection of EVER COMING TO MY HOUSE. I said this is what occurred and transpired. The man said Highland doesn't even make a blue cabinet. I said wow so your employee lost my layout, wasted my time and doesn't even have the proper training about what products they have in their showroom. Don't waste your time here. With so many places that actually want your business and don't lose projects that need to be quoted this company obviously doesn't want my business even though I remodel in upwards of 8-10 homes a year.

We have used them 4 times, in every case with excellent results.  Let me just say that virtually NO remodeling project I have ever done is without bumps in the road, but this company will work with you to make it right.  I especially want to credit Steve Marx for above and beyond customer service.  My kitchen is gorgeous, I will add pictures when we finish our backsplash and painting as well as get another bump in the remodeling road (dishwasher install) right

If you're looking for cabinets for your own project, save your self the hassle of attempting to deal with these guys. They do not sell direct; only through other dealers. They don't make this clear until you waste time to go there.

Great resource for remodeling a home! Lots of fabulous samples. Friendly and knowledgeable help! Will definitely use them again in the future.
