The Beginning

Builders Depot Arizona, LLC. was founded by Mark Stephenson. The founders' vision of one-stop shopping for the contractor or owner/builder came to fruition when he opened the first Showroom a 5,000 sq.ft. Design Center, in Scottsdale, Arizona. From the very beginning Sales Associates were able to offer the best customer service in the industry while guiding customers through products such as cabinets, doors, windows and flooring. Every sales associate undergoes rigorous product knowledge training. Builders Depot Arizona, LLC. is revolutionizing the contracting industry by bringing the contractor know-how and wholesale pricing to the consumer while saving them money.

According to Mark's philosophy of customer service - whatever it takes - means cultivating a relationship with customers rather than merely completing a transaction.

I recently had an old ugly wood floor replaced with porcelain tile / wood lookalike. Juliet Pekaar, an interior designer at Builders Depot provided a very reasonable bid and then took over every aspect of the job including scheduling and inspecting each phase. I was very impressed with Juliet's attention to detail, creativity and ability to keep activities flowing smoothly. The job was completed on time as promised and I am thrilled with the results. I can't wait for Juliet to tackle the next project here -my windows! Thank you Builders Depot, thank you Juliet.

Beware!! I had a condo remodel that should have taken 1 month. Due to mismanagement of subs, poor quality of work it was left unfinished at 6 months. I had to hire other subs later to finish job. Please go elsewhere. Nightmare!!

This company has horrible customer service and employee training. I stopped in to get a quote on my kitchen remodel I was working on. Set up an appointment with Chris who met me at the project (he was 10 minutes late for his appointment) took an hour of my time measuring and talking about layout and placement of every cabinet and appliance. We chatted about blue island and white cabinets in a shaker style by Highland. Over a week goes by and still no quote via email so I call thinking he must of misspelled my email. Spoke with a man who advised Chris was out of the office ill and he had no paperwork of my job that I needed quoted. I asked for Chris to call me when he got back into the office. Received a call quickly back advising that Chris had no recollection of EVER COMING TO MY HOUSE. I said this is what occurred and transpired. The man said Highland doesn't even make a blue cabinet. I said wow so your employee lost my layout, wasted my time and doesn't even have the proper training about what products they have in their showroom. Don't waste your time here. With so many places that actually want your business and don't lose projects that need to be quoted this company obviously doesn't want my business even though I remodel in upwards of 8-10 homes a year.

This is a wonderful group of designers and builders. We are new in AZ and our realtor recommended them. The designers Elaine and Patti are super. They guide with great expertise and such good taste. Mark and Tom manage the projects and keep things moving. The crew working in our house, Scott and Kurt, are professional and courteous. The work is top quality. We couldn't be more pleased.
