I cannot say enough positive things about Valentin and Valley Verde Lawn Care. I had gotten a quote from another company and it seemed extremely high. I reached out to Valentin and some other businesses and Valentin set up a time to come out right away to give me a quote. First, he came out on a Saturday, which no one else would. Second, he was on time, super professional, extremely nice and friendly, and very very informative. He assessed my yard and my needs and requests, then he took me around the yard, explaining to me all the things he believed I should do or not do, the reasons why, he turned the sprinklers on to further make it clear why I did or did not need certain things done. It was so great. I had other companies set up to come out the following week for quotes, however, I hired him on the spot. His prices were extremely reasonable. Further, he showed me and explained to me why I did NOT need something done, which the previous company had quoted me for and said I did need done. The team came out two days later, led by Valentin and they did an amazing job. Once again, Valentin explained all the work done to me, turned everything on and let me see it all in action, he gave me a very in depth training on how to set the damn sprinkler timer which always eludes me, and he told me I could just face time him in the future if I had questions about how to work it, or to hit him up and he could swing by and set it for me. I had him and his crew move sprinklers, install new ones, flush out and repair some old ones, and replace one valve. Side note - during the quote he had accounted for having to replace 2 valves, which were the most expensive things on the quote, however, after he came out to the house and really dug in, he only had to replace one, and he let me know and lowered the price. I just cannot express my gratitude to Valentin. I will use him forever, as long as he is in business. He and his crew did an amazing job in all ways possible. HIRE THEM! You will not be disappointed. After meeting with him, we knew right away that he was the man for the job. And his quote was much lower than the rest. LOVE IT! Thank you Valentin!

I have been using these guys for about 5 years. They followed us when we moved, and I'm so glad. They spray for weeds for us about once a year, and it always lasts through the monsoons and we don't have to call again until the following spring. Their pricing is affordable, and they always come when they say they will.

Texted to get a quote, they came Wednesday to look at my home and they were able to get me on schedule for Friday. Joana is really helpful and her guys did an amazing job for a good price. Thank you!

I would definitely recommend spring landscaping. I was looking for a quote I'm getting some large trees trimmed in my yard. They notified me immediately and came out on Sunday to give me a quote. I had already received multiple quotes and theirs was fabulous. We scheduled an appointment to get the work done and they were on time and did a great job. Now, I need to get 4 tons of rocks for my yard and they are going to spread the rocks for me. I am definitely keeping their phone number handy! A

My husband and I had a horrible weed problem in our yard. It was in terrible shape. We were contacted promptly by Alex from Velasco when I inquired about a quote for the job. He came over the same day and gave us a thorough, free consultation. I was impressed by his quick response and the description he gave about exactly what he could do to improve our yard. His quote was very reasonable as well. Today, his team came out and did a wonderful job on clearing the weeds/grass patches in our yard and spraying any stragglers for weed prevention. It looks like a new yard! I was also impressed that they even netted our pool to get rid of the debris from the blower. Excellent customer service! The workers were very polite. I just wanted to write a review about this company and especially Pablo and his brother Carlos and their whole team.  I had been wanting to redo part of my backyard for a long time.  I called several companies, most never called back, 1 came out and gave me an estimate and then never called back.  I got a response from Pablo and he came out the next day.  I told him what I was sort of thinking and he immediately started brainstorming and really got what I was wanting. He sent me a quote and it was reasonable (lower then he other guy).  He started the next week.  It took them 2 1/2 days to finish.  They laid tons of river rock, made an incredible path with crushed gravel.  He made a border all around with metal edging AND added a ton of desert landscaping.  The whole team worked quickly and cleaned up everything.  I can't really put in words how much I love what they did.  I'm sure it has increased the value of my home.  If you want to hire a great team that takes immense pride in their work you don't have to look any farther.

Manny was extremely responsive and remained helpful/responsive during the estimate process and throughout the project. The work the team did on the pavers is beautiful. The team was so detailed from the demo to the final steps.

Very strange -- I can't reconcile all the positive reviews with my own personal experience. Called them up due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback on Yelp.

I had a few sprinkler heads that needed to be replaced/repaired/adjusted before I overseeded. Eli got back to me quickly and set an appointment on a day when I'd be at work, which was fine. On the day of the appointment, I got a call from the service tech telling me that my sprinklers were fine but my controller was broken, and it would be $385 to replace. I told him that the controller isn't broken -- one of the buttons is sticky, but the system is fine. On the other hand, the sprinklers are not fine, that's why I called. He told me the system was old and should be replaced. I gently told him that I would consider that, but I wasn't going to authorize a $385 replacement without getting a competitive bid, but in the meantime, would he please run and repair the sprinkler heads as I requested -- I mentioned the specific ones I had concerns about. He barked at me, but agreed to do so. I still haven't seen any paperwork or notice regarding what he did.

Maybe the service tech was just having a bad day, but I can't recommend these guys.

Appreciate that at least the owner posts productive and rational responses to reviews that show opportunities to improve. Nice to know that someone might be listening.

Very quick to respond :) needed my yard done the following day on a Sunday, because I was moving out on Saturday and couldn't find a landscaper. We were able to arrange a time very easily.
I also couldn't be at the property since I was moving stuff to my new place but they went to the yard, finished quickly and sent me pictures of the yard- absolutely pristine!

I hired Hernandez Landscaping to replace Drip irrigation System, He delivered commercial product, and took care of the maintenance issue.

Requested a quote and didn't even get a common courtesy response bid no bid even if they were busy.

After this review Owner said they replied to my email.  Nope.  Have everyone which comes from Yelp since that's where the request was sent through.  Don't worry you weren't the only company that didn't respond.  Actually the ones with way less stars and worse Yelp reviews way outshined you and others with high ratings.  I might believe a mistake can happen but I reached out to this company a second time asking if they were interested in quoting.  I think I went above and beyond giving you several opportunities that's why you get this poor rating.

Raul and his crew did an EXCELLENT job - he showed up for an estimate exactly on time, once we agreed on work and $ he gave me a day and time, showed up early and did everything perfectly and was meticulous with cleanup, I will be using him for future landscape needs!!

Beautiful work! Also, efficient, prompt and very professional. They worked closely with us to understand what we wanted and delivered a beautiful finished product!

Did a great job with my yard. They were punctual, gave a fair price and got the yard cleaned up beautifully after it had not been taken care of for a while. I would recommend them and use them again.

Richard was able to quickly come out and repair a hole in our foundation. Scheduling was easy and convenient and price was fair. Would definitely use Paseo Hardscapes again in the future.

I initially requested a quote to trim a few trees and overall maintenance to my backyard. Ivan responded right away and was very transparent from the beginning. He provided me with a quote and told me what to expect. He told me he would be at my place Monday morning and was right on time! He and his dad were very genuine and so nice.
