If you're like me, you have no experience with doing a yard renovation and don't know who to trust. You've heard the nightmare stories and talked with at least 10 different businesses to find the right person to take on your project.

You can stop looking now. From our first interaction with Rafa, his professionalism and understanding was immediately evident. He spent most of the time listening, really listening, to what we were struggling with and what we wanted to see in our yard. He was responsive and provided extremely high-quality modern designs. We were very nervous about the design and materials, and Rafa came over to our house with a bunch of samples to sooth our nerves. Of the 5+ bids we got on the yard renovation, Envision was in the middle, but our relationship/trust with Rafa was one of the most important parts of our decision.

We were prepared to sign the project documents and get started when we received some news that changed our life situation, and had to scale back our budget and timeline significantly. Rafa handled the change with supreme professionalism and we were able to work out a new plan to fit the new budget. Rafa didn't have to do that, and we are very appreciative that he did.

For the project itself, we had the weeds/grass removed from our yard, an drip irrigation system installed, replaced our worn artificial turf, and covered the yard with existing rock. The workers were very professional and respectful of our property. When it came time to finalize the plan for the artificial turf, Alberto came to the property and marked out all the options and talked to us about each one. We had one small incident where our water was off for most of a day when installing the irrigation system, but I reached out to Rafa and he immediately resolved the delay.

Our project finished a few days ahead of time and on budget. Overall it was a great experience and we would recommend Envision Landscape and Design to friends and family looking for these services. I'll try to include some photos, but most of the work (weed/grass removal and irrigation system) can't be seen.

I contacted Greenheart Landscape based on the positive reviews I'd seen for an estimate for our backyard.  Mike came out and was very pleasant to talk with. After talking about what our wishes were, Mike said I would receive a follow up quote within a week or so.  I did not hear anything  so I reached out again and was told by Mike that they were really backed up and Irene hired a new office manager and a rendering and quote would be emailed the following day. That never happened. They are completely unreliable.  Don't waste your time or money on a company who clearly has no interest in prospective clients.

This review is not regarding their product since we made our best efforts to try to have them come in for an on-site estimate. Called the business a couple of times- first time spoke with someone and they immediately asked if I could just text them and basically hanged up. Text the business and no response. Called again and left a voicemail with no response.
Ended up contracting another local business.

I just wanted to write a review about this company and especially Pablo and his brother Carlos and their whole team.  I had been wanting to redo part of my backyard for a long time.  I called several companies, most never called back, 1 came out and gave me an estimate and then never called back.  I got a response from Pablo and he came out the next day.  I told him what I was sort of thinking and he immediately started brainstorming and really got what I was wanting. He sent me a quote and it was reasonable (lower then he other guy).  He started the next week.  It took them 2 1/2 days to finish.  They laid tons of river rock, made an incredible path with crushed gravel.  He made a border all around with metal edging AND added a ton of desert landscaping.  The whole team worked quickly and cleaned up everything.  I can't really put in words how much I love what they did.  I'm sure it has increased the value of my home.  If you want to hire a great team that takes immense pride in their work you don't have to look any farther.

Wonderful experience... we had a huge willow acacia that needed to be removed from our backyard. Paul and team were friendly, responsive, arrived on time, and did an awesome job removing and cleaning up the tree.

I was referred to Montoya's landscaping by a current client of theirs.  I requested a quote for a lawn cleanup of leaves.  I recently moved into a new house and did not have the time to remove leaves with all the unpacking.  I specifically said if it was under $100 to go ahead and anything more to just leave a quote.  

I come home to a yard half cleaned.  The flower beds and ground cover were never touched.  I expected a bill of $100 or less and was disappointed with the half-assed job done.  

To my surprise a couple days later, I received a bill on my door for nearly 4 times the amount I was expecting it to be.  -I was shocked and in disbelief.  I explained the situation to their owner and he insisted I pay him more than the $100 I said was my max and this is on top of the fact he only did half of my yard.  I compromised and agreed to double what I wanted to pay since he did do some of the work.  

I would warn all homeowners to never use them and if you make the mistake, to make sure you have everything in writing.  That still may not be enough as he will just show up and do a subpar job and charge you way more than you were told and then hound you for payment.

Unprofessional and unacceptable.  I will be reporting them to the better business bureau.

I understand why this company has five stars! I am SO PLEASED with my whole experience: start to finish. First, they responded quickly to my inquiry, and Devin came out right away to give me a quote. Having never done landscaping, I was a bit overwhelmed by the quote, so I communicated with Devin and Naji to work within my budget. Once that was taken care of, we set a date for cleaning up the yard (it was AWFUL) and adding the rocks and turf. The whole job was completed in 2 days, and I LOVE MY YARD!! The crew worked so hard in devastating heat; they were really nice, too.

When it was over, both Devin and Naji followed up to ensure I was happy. I am happy, and my dog loves his new yard (you can see by the pic that he's claimed it as his own).

I will always recommend JNK, and I will use them for all future projects.

We have had Sun of the Valley out multiple times and they are always prompt and professional and friendly and most importantly they are really passionate about leaving the yard looking perfect.  When they are done servicing our yard it looks like brand new landscaping that could be featured in photos for a housing development and there is nothing that they don't do. They leave our yard spotless every time even when our weeds are really overgrown and there is torn up trash and droppings from our dog in the back , and they don't even mention it or stress about it because they are just great people that do awesome work!  Worth every penny to hire them.  Thank you Liliana!

Juan and his team were FANTASTIC! Quick reply , good estimate and the work dine was top notch ! He is a great communicator I would strongly recommend him and his crew the quality was terrific !

I have had a lot of experience with landscapers In rental properties as well as primary residences...some good, some meh and more often than not, really bad! Finding an honest landscaper in today's market is hard, finding a reliable AND honest landscaper is winning the lottery! I called Nicos about two months ago and  won the lottery. I spoke to Ruben. He showed up on time and gave me a reasonable estimate on irrigation installation. I called him again to hire him a month later, he showed up on time again! he did a fantastic job installing commercial type PVC irrigation with a FIVE YEAR WARRANTY and he has show up three times after installation on his own merit to tweak sprinklers and quality check the systems.
This guy and his crew are amazing. They knocked out my .30 acre yard in two days and didn't ask for a penny until they broke ground.  My highest recommendation goes to these folks. I even retained them for my regular maintenance and will have them do all my planting in the fall!

We just moved into our house about a month ago, the backyard was not landscaped by the builder... I used Thumbtack, Angi, and several other aps to look for landscapers... I didn't think to you Yelp and I'm so glad that I did... I submitted a request thru Yelp during the Memorial weekend not expecting to get a response till after the weekend... I was pleasantly surprised when I got a response back immediately and he was able to stop by the next day to give us an estimate to have the backyard landscaped... Robert did a superb job; he was always on time, extremely responsive, hardworking and very respectful of our property... The yard is gorgeous!!! Thank you!!!!

They provided a quote for a tree stump removal that was anticipated to be a 1-2 hour job. The stump ended up taking all day to remove. But they kept their original quote even though they had to stay longer. Great guys!

This company scheduled a consult and never showed up or called to cancel. I rushed home from work and missed out on a couple of hours pay for a company that didn't even bother to let me know they weren't coming.

Four Sons is the best, period.  They are a small family owned business that was recommended to me by several others in the area.  From start to finish nicest, friendliest, most professional company I have worked with.  Their work is impeccable.  
Four Sons completely landscaped my backyard beginning with Kristin providing a 3D rendition of what I envisioned and then leaving a finished product that looked exactly like the rendition.  She took a very rough sketch brought it to life and Johnny and his sons and crew, turned it into a backyard oasis.  The stonework is impeccably done, the plants selected to be placed in the garden are perfect and the team placed them beautifully, providing a flowering symmetry that I will enjoy for years to come.  Johnny even thankfully convinced me to change the colored glass for the fire-pit and he was spot-on.  
Knowing I had a large family gathering as a finish target date goal, Kristin and Johnny squeezed me in between other jobs to ensure it was finished in time and I am thankful for it.  Easy to work with, friendly and open to interact with, and meticulous in their work, Johnny's entire team left here more like family than landscapers.  They clearly care about the quality of their work and it felt like they were working on their own backyard - it was that good.
I highly recommend Four Sons.  They are the simply the best.  I am thrilled with the the work they did.  Call them, I promise, you will be too.

We were just serviced by Hernandez Landscaping. They were excellent to work with. We recieved a quote for our backyard quickly. The price was more than fair. They came out the very next day to save our overgrown backyard. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

Scott gave us a good price for the additional driveway, stone work and short retaining wall. The work turned out great would recommend him to others. Sometimes he gets overbooked, cut him some slack. He has a good team working for him.
