This is the worst company I have ever interacted with. After a visit from a man named Ira, I lost heat to my water in the bathroom. A few days pass and they came to fix the problem that they had caused and nothing was fixed. After talking to the 'Boss' for over 40 minutes on the phone nothing was still resolved. They didn't take responsibility for the problem and spoke to me in a very condescending tone. If your a woman who doesn't have a handy man around I strongly suggest you do not call this company.

My air conditioning stopped running and, although they were booked, Long Electric made an after hours appointment for me.  When they had a cancellation they called and the repair work was done quickly and efficiently.  They are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.  I highly recommend Long Electric. Grateful for their care and concern.

Called Kevin to see if he could help me fix my unit at home. Told him someone had checked it out but never returned and his only response was why can't he come back and fix it. Don't you got his number? Never heard of someone turning down business. What a shame!

Our 11 yr old unit went out.  1st AC guy came and after many tries to diagnose the problem said it was a $5k repair.  So naturally I said I need a 2nd opinion.  Well next guy said we need a new unit: another $5000 bid.  So after some research we found Big Bear:  wow turns out we just needed a new capacitor a $186 part.  It went out and caused the compressor to overheat.... The compressor is fine.  He was here less than 45 min and did the repair.  Wow!!  After having it explained to me it seemed pretty basic.  When the capacitor goes out the compressor has to overcompensate and do more work.  So it overheated!!!  Anyhoo... I expect to have to replace these units one day but seriously a $5k bid for a $200 job is just plain robbery. #ibigbear

If you live in the Arlington area and need help same or next day help, call Hightower. Deno came when my breakers went out. It was just a simple reset but he took the time to teach this first time homeowner (me) how the breaker works, why it tripped, and what to do the next time it happened. Plus he didnt even charge me the full first hour. Deno was very responsive, respected my home, and was straight up honest.

A few days later my AC went out. I called at 2pm and the call taker said, I can have someone out first thing in the morning or this afternoon. Which do you prefer? I chose same day and Justin came to the rescue. He found the problem, recommended I did a leak search. To hold me over, he topped off my unit with refrigerant even though it was leaking. He came back 2 days later for the search. He found the leak and invited me up to see. He took the time to inform me about what went wrong, the most likely reason it happened, how to fix the problem, and here is the kicker recommended the upgrade needed to prevent it from happening again.  Justin kept me in the loop every step of the way. He was honest, respected me and my house, and I can tell he truly cares that I am comfortable in my home.

Mr. Hightower, your company has earned my business because of Deno and Justin. Those two are keepers sir. Dont lose them!

I had a faucet that needed to be installed in my kitchen sink. I purchased the high-end faucet, soap dispenser and hole covers (I have a 4 hole sink but just 2 appliances to install). James came out and gave me a quote - he was very professional and friendly. The staff at the office was very communicative and friendly as well. I hired James to do the job and couldn't be happier. The price was competitive, the work was completed in a timely manner and looks great! He cleaned up all the mess (some that wasn't even his!) and left my kitchen looking great. Just had them come out on a Saturday because I have a 17 month old and in the Texas heat I had to pay the 200.00 dollar fee. Spent another 345.00 on a new capacitor. And was told Im going to need to spend 10,000 dollars or else we will burn in our house along with my little kiddo. Well turns out my neighbor has been working on AC and Heating for over 30 and asked me how much I paid told him 543.00. He started laughing and showed me what was the short term issue a wired was not even clamped to the connector. Was causing it to over heat. He said you will be good for a couple weeks but the capacitor, he apparently just replaced and spent 345 dollars on is going to need to be replaced. Well he said he can get the part for 50 and just throw him 20 for hooking it up which he said will take him less then 10 minutes. This company has no value or honesty. I almost had to pull out money out of my kids college fund. When he said 10k to fix. Neighbor said you literally just got had in the worst way. I was going to give the Tech 3 stars but cant do it. He was going to watch me go broke on dropping 10k and would have laughed about it to everyone. Oh and beware of there site you cant write a review directly on their site so they only put high star reviews. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!  Please if you do call 3 or 4 diffrent opinions.

Another review echoing earlier ones...Milestone's prices are far too high. I feel sorry for the people who pay it with no questions asked.

I needed one bathroom faucet replaced and one simple bathtub faucet handle. The technician (who was friendly) presented me with a price of $882 ($759 for Advantage members). This much for a job the technician said would take about an hour! Mind you, I already have the faucet parts so this was for labor only. Really unbelievable.

I've had faucets replaced before and have paid less than a third of that for the exact same repair. After I said I wouldn't be having him do the work, the technician went outside to write up my service call invoice. When he returned he magically presented me with the Managers Special price of $396. That price is definitely more in line with what it should've been to begin with, but by then I knew I didn't want to give them another dime. It was like being at a car dealership haggling over some ever-moving target of a price! I don't want to pay higher prices to support their bloated overhead when I can get the same job done for $150-200 hr. plus parts from smaller shops with less overhead.

The only reason I called Milestone to begin with was because a friend had suggested it and they were available the next day. I'll definitely be telling her that she's being overcharged and for future reference, give her the name of the plumber who's on their way to do the job for less than $300.

I purchased an AC unit in 2015. Every year my unit freezes and every year I have to pay hundreds of dollars in repairs and freon. Some years it takes several trips from different service technicians to diagnose the problem. Today we spent over 700.00. With the money that I have spent in repairs over the years plus the money we pay for their membership we could have purchased a quality unit from a reputable company that stands by their product and provides a warranty with actual coverage. I have never been so disappointed in a product, a company and the service provided. What a waste of money. Don't be duped by their advertising.  Guaranteed right day or night and 100% satisfaction guarantee are words this company does not stand behind.
