Best Faucet Repair in Chicago IL

I've hired thru Fixer twice already, each time involving multiple jobs (including light electrical). In both instances, Fixer was very responsive to my online requests for quotes and schedules. The handy persons sent were extremely professional, friendly and honest. Great work results both times. They skew towards the higher end of rates, but both handy people spoke well of the Company, which says a lot these days. I definitely will use them again and recommend them to others.

We tried Fixer for the first time to re-caulk our shower and sinks. Their customer service is fantastic - responsive, helpful, respectful. They initially sent a fixer who didn't do a great job but quickly remediated the issue with a highly experienced one. Gwen was awesome!! She came on time, kept us informed, and was thoughtful and meticulous in her work. It was also really refreshing to see a woman trained in handy work. The 4 star rating is for the initial snafu - we have a baby so it was tough to make time and clean before/after the first fixer during COVID, only to have to repeat the process again on a weekend.

These guys are real PROS.   Robert and his team are nothing short of amazing.  I recently put in a pool and I needed electric and gas run from the house to the pool.  I had troubles securing a permit for the pool because I didn't really understand what the Village needed in regards to detailed information.  After a few talks with Robert and a really thorough quote of what was to be completed, I was able to get my permit.  It doesn't end there.  Once the job started, Robert was always on time and always thorough and to the point.  No fluff and mirrors... A real Pro.  Robert was able to give me guidance and good advise, all while completing every bit of what he promised to do for me.   I have had many contractors come through my home over the years.  Some great and some not.  Robert and his crew are the best of that bunch.  Top notch in every way.  100% The best.  Glad I found them.  Thanks again Robert.  My Electric/Plumber for Life!!!!!!!

We have hired ABI a couple of times since we moved into our new home and have been nothing but pleased.  Billy first came out to mount our new TV and wire it behind the wall. His brother Hani then came out to patch and paint a majority of our home including the two story walls in the common areas. Looks fantastic! Billy came out a second time and installed a ceiling light fixture to connect with the wall switches and dimmer. Was in and out in less than 20 minutes. We won't go anywhere else for work needed around the house! Both Billy and Hani go above and beyond the line of duty, are extremely professional and do excellent work.  Highly recommend!

The pricing is confusing. I was charged an $89 fee to show up which I understood as what would typically be the diagnostic fee and then $125/hr. The guy was here for 20 min, could not actually do the repair, and needed to go do research to see if the parts were available to do the work and I am left with a $214 bill. As an architect who works with construction people on a daily bases, this is not how I have ever seen someone do business. I would say to make sure that they have the capability to do the job and get everything in writing beforehand.

I've used this service twice for minor home repairs for my elderly mother and have been very pleased with their responsiveness, professionalism and quality of work. I would definitely recommend this company for home repair needs.

I can not recommend Kevin at Enigma Electrical more highly!  He is a consummate professional, a kind person and a very talented electrician.  I had an urgent project in my vintage condo with VERY old wiring, as my condo was going on the market and the electrical needed to be fixed on a Sunday.  Kevin doesn't normally work Sundays, but he understood my dilemma and urgency and he rearranged his schedule to come and help me on his day off.  He was not only comfortable dealing with a tricky electrical situation, but he was delightful to talk and laugh with.  I couldn't be more grateful!

Joe swapped out light switches on a very complicated job that we could not figure out. He gave a call about 15 minutes out to confirm his arrival time, showed up on time and hustled to get the job done. He was also super pleasant to speak with, I enjoyed having him in our home and will absolutely bring him out for additional jobs.

I contacted Adam Hadib with A1-Services.  He answered his phone, no voicemail. He asked for photos of the work we needed done, then he sent me back his reasonable quote.

He was able to come out the next day to install our shower door. (He was booked up all week after Sunday).

He did a wonderful job! He was very personable; kind;considerate, & honest.

We will definitely call him again if needed.

Loved working with Don and his son! I had a broken dishwasher, and I thought I would have to spend almost $1k to replace it. But Don & son saved the day! They were fast, efficient, and price was very reasonable. I'd recommend them to anyone who is in need of repairs.

We utilized Alex and Loren for our large basement finishing project and couldn't be happier. We had approx 1,000 sq feet of unfinished basement space and needed framing, plumbing (added a new bathroom with shower), electrical, hvac, doors hung, and drywall with finishing. He showed up on time every day and maintained excellent communication throughout our project duration. He was friendly, professional, and courteous. It seems he is a perfectionist by nature, always looking at the little details. He cleaned up after himself and was very cooperative on last minute job requests.
