Best Sconce Light Repair in San Jose CA

When we purchased out new house, one of the first things my husband wanted done was to get low voltage cable (Cat6 and RG-6) installed in every room so that we could have data ports in every room.  While shopping for electricians we only found a few who also did cable runs.  With that said, we decided to go with Voltz because in pricing the cable runs they charged for the number of drops we needed, not the number of lines we were running, which significantly dropped down the price.  My husband and I were even concerned about this and emailed and called Matt multiple times to ensure he knew exactly what we were being priced with and he still stuck with the original quote, which was awesome.

We also got our panel upgraded, had recessed lighting put in the living room, had three ceiling lights installed in three of the bed rooms, had additional circuits run, as well as have various misc electrical work done, which included fixing the doorbell which didn't work.  The guys did a great job installing and fixing everything, especially when it came to the doorbell.  It seems like such a small and silly thing, but when they finally got the doorbell wired up, the chime was off and would only ding once when you pressed the doorbell.  Since the doorbell has been broken for a while, I was happy just hearing it ring, even if it was once, but Mike (the foreman I believe) insisted that since they were there working on it anyway, that it should at least have the dong too.  So he and one other guy stay behind after everything was finished just to finish up the doorbell and make sure it worked the way it should.

All in all I have to say the crew that came out was awesome, and that they did an amazing job.  

The only one minor complaint I have is that they did not label the cable runs, which would have been a relatively easy thing to do while they were running the lines.  It is rather inconvenient that we now have to tone every line to figure out which line goes to which room, but given everything else, I don't think it detracts too much from the quality of their work.

Job quality is ok (that's the extra star comes from), but customer service is horrible.
1. He always tries to squeeze you for more money, for example: he will charge you labor and gas for the parts he got. Hilarious, we are working with lots of contractors, all licensed btw, and none of them do that except him.
2. He is not honest. We asked him to replace a GFCI, simple job, right? But he kept blaming our previous GC, which is funny because the thing he blame to are on different circuit, and finding excuses not to do it, also saying something wrong and he needed more time in next visit (cost more of course). Even though we had already paid him for that. Finally, my wife find the trapped GFCI in garage on the same circuit and he was saying: I am about to tell you that. No wonder he planed to do diagnosis next time and charge for that. Poor acting.
3. He left bathroom switch cover open when he left, but power was still there! Horrible and extremely dangerous!
4. He didn't show respect to our home, using bathroom w/o asking, throw away trash in the toilet, shoes on the carpet. Horrible.

Overall, I won't recommend him.

Dan is so great!!  Very thorough, detailed, knowledgeable!  We have had him install TV's, ceiling fans and even a doggie door in our back door!  I would recommend him for any job!

Hormoz and his associate arrived as scheduled. They prepped the area for debris and installed my light fixture in one room, and a fan in my patio.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

This company is VERY hard working and respectful, he makes the job right and he is super nice!

Larry Strum responded immediately for a request to repair the outdoor outlet for our sprinkler system. He quickly diagnoised the problem and repaired the outlet with a superior part. He was efficient and pleasant . I highly recommend him for electrical repairs.

Had an issue at my house and it turned out to be a problem with PG&E but the owner Lucas was very helpful and able to troubleshoot with me on FaceTime the day after Christmas so that is much appreciated. If you need electrical work done at your home (planned or unplanned), your first and only call should be to Brian Hanson at BMH Electric. He came out to my mom's house for an unplanned electrical repair due to a blown fuse that impacted the Kitchen, Living Room, and Bedroom. Scheduling a service with him was super easy via email and he was also super reachable via text. He did a routine inspection, found the main issue and efficiently fixed the burnt wire connection/outlet. Brian's customer service and expertise is top notch and he even made some recommendations that I plan to use in my mom's future remodeling plans. He was super thorough in making sure everything was safe and double checked that the final result of his work was executed to the highest standard. After reading the reviews and I decided to contact Odom Electric earlier this month. I needed to service some electrical issues with my home.

Some of the issues I was having is shorts happening with a few light switch, missing fuse in electrical box and basic hardware install (ceiling fan, chandelier, running cable behind the wall for tv, etc.).

These guys are absolutely awesome and professional. As all the other review states, they come on-time, clean-up during and after projects. Most of all they are super friendly.

I just finished having Charles Electric  in Half Moon bay come to restore my outside power, garage door and plugs. I was impressed with Dan and his response, expertise and efficiency. Please, call BV Electric & ask for Rigo & Jose! I called on Monday & got my desired appointment time on Wednesday afternoon. I had a short list of issues & they repaired everything I asked them to within two hours! Punctual. Polite. Pet friendly. Fair price. I will definitely call on Rigo & Jose to come back in the future when need electrical work.

I needed additional outlets added to my garage and Khalif was responsive and accommodating.  He gave me a revised estimate after I clarified what I needed and he got the job done quick and clean.

Problem: some outlets inoperable on the same circuit.
Analysis: did basic troubleshooting such as:
Resetting circuit breaker; checked GFI plug; validated wire continuity in case of an open. Sent Yelp request for assistance.
Resolution:
Ron took time from his busy schedule to call and stopped by the house to troubleshootNTF and provided a couple of suggestions based on his extensive experience. For safety, I replaced the GFI and manually checked all the plugs and mapped to the circuit breaker box.
Thank again Ron. I validated that the kitchen plugs are in a different circuit hence the remap of the CB.
Root cause: User error. Unable for provide a cost value because the lessons I learned from Ron are invaluable. However if cost must be a factor, price is reasonable. I would call on him again should I have electrical issues that need resolution.
