Best Heater Installation in San Francisco CA
I called Eleney Electric over the weekend with a small project at my home. Fearghal answered the call and came over personally to take care of my issue, and even scheduled a follow-up after the weekend with one of his crew. Clean and quick work and nice people to do business with. I highly recommend this local SF business and would happily use them again!

Jothi recently completed some work for me and did a great job. He had never installed this particular piece of equipment before, but was very diligent about checking the installation manual to make sure he was following its directions. He was also very responsive to my communications and showed great professionalism on the job. I found his rates to be quite reasonable, and Jothi himself to be very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend.

Guy was very quick, helpful, polite, actually was able to help me over the phone, charged a fair price for a quick bit of help from a pro which he let me know upfront. Will call again next time I need an electrician.

It always feels good to support local businesses, but it's especially rewarding to support ones that are just getting started. When I went on Yelp looking for an electrician, Estiben and Brains Automation Homes didn't even have any reviews yet! It's always a little risky to go with a business with no reviews, but something told me Estiben knew what he was doing, and I can definitely say I made a good choice in selecting him for my home project.
I had been wanting to replace the old and ugly outlets and switches in my home, and decided to get a few quotes just to see what I would be getting myself into. Brains Automation Homes offered a competitive estimate and got the job done exactly as I had requested and quickly (I was able to schedule an appointment the same week I started looking for an electrician). It turns out Estiben is a one-man show breaking out on his own and trying to build up his business (hence, not many reviews). He's licensed, competent, and friendly. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned I might want to replace an outlet with one that had USB ports. As the business name indicates, Brains Automation Homes has experience with hooking up smart homes, so you know Estiben is knowledgeable about some of the latest tech.
For my project, Estiben arrived on time, was very polite, got the job done well, and cleaned up after himself. In all, he replaced two regular outlets, two outlet-switch combinations with GFCI, two double light switches, two single light switches, and a three-switch contraption in the bathroom that connects to the light, the fan, and a heater. The bathroom switch was a late add-on (I thought it might be too complicated), but Estiben had all the necessary parts, so he was able to take care of it then and there.
I have a few more electrical projects in mind, and I won't hesitate to contact Brains Automation Homes when the time comes.

At first the price seemed unusually cheap, which I was happy about, but the job ultimately proved more complicated -- and the price was still perfectly fair.
The job was a lot of work, but Jaime kept at it. When it proved more difficult than it had first appeared to him, he came back the next day and fired away at it.
I don't know much about wiring so I was partly relying on his solid YELP reviews, but given what had to be accomplished (and he was by himself both days) he did a really solid job.

Ron, Gilbert, and Pablo were extremely professional. They worked all day, keeping me informed every step of the way. They replaced both furnace and ac, all with a sleeping baby in the house. I would definitely recommend Service Champions again, solely based on the service I received from these gentlemen.

I contacted Reyff for a list of improvements and repairs. From the simple receptacle rewire, and new wall sconces installed to the more involved new service for the garage and a new whole house fan in the attic. The workers were clean and meticulous and always available to discuss options when questions came up. Kudos also to their front office who seemed to know exactly who we were when we called. The work turned out perfect and the cost was reasonable. I already plan to have them back in the future for other jobs.

Look no further for an electrician. Miro is as honest and trustworthy as they come. He quickly resolved my tenant's electrical problem and put my mind at ease. I will call him again for any future electrical problems.

Eric has done several projects for us, we've been happy with the results, and we'll keep calling him for electrical needs. He's rewired our bathroom, put in lights in our basement hall and garden, installed a level 2 EV charger for our new electric car in our garage, and done all the work for a garden office room we built (on a tight budget). Our tenants also had some problems with their hall light and he repaired it right away. We've got an old building. He's very future-oriented, so I trust him to do work that doesn't get in the way of future projects we have to do on our house

The business is organized well. It was first to respond. Fee structure was best offered. Communication was consistently good throughout. Michael, the actual technician, was thoughtful and a pleasure to have at the house. I already have a plan to call them again for a different problem.

Breaker/Fuse panel door wasn't shut properly after a PG&E employee asked to look at something because of construction going on next door. I woke up at 3 am Friday to find most of the power to the house off and when I checked the breakers, the panel door was wide open in the rain storm. 4 breakers went bad due to the water damage. Called Josue at RD Handyman at 8a.m. and they arrived within an hour or so and had the breakers replaced and working again by 11am. Great service and communication. Would definitely use them again for any electrical issues.

I've used them twice now and both times they provided an experienced worker who was able to handle both electrical and non-electrical fixes. In this last session in under 5 hours he installed THREE ceiling fan light fixtures, installed 2 pendant bar lights, replaced an electrical outlet, fixed the front closet door and installed a new locking handle for a door. Will certainly use again. Plus the company itself is reliable and good at communication.

Definitely recommend! Great service, patient, great value. I'll use Oswaldo for future electric needs.

On Saturday afternoon my husband and I received our annual heater maintenance. Our technician Franco was exceptional in his work ethic, his cleanliness before, during and after the tune-up. His friendliness and knowledge made us feel that we were in good hands. He explained everything that he was doing and even went above and beyond to ensure our unit was in tip top shape. He even took time to remove the intake grate to vacuum the area because he just knew it would be full of dog hair and sure enough--it was. We have a shepherd mix which he just loved.
After talking with him we found that we shared something in common. Because of this connection he was kind and generous and gifted us a hepa air filter. We were so touched and blown away by his service and care for our heater, our home and most especially us. Service Champion's, Franco is a an awesome employee and a keeper! I went to bed knowing that my heater was working excellently and that we were safe! Thank you Franco and Service Champions.

Darwin is very quick in diagnostics and also super fast to buy the parts from the hardware store and fix the issue within 1 hour. When the initial issue was resolved, we found there was another issue. Darwin was quick to find the root cause and fix for us again. Overall super fast fix and the price is also reasonable.

I hired Sattler Electrical in the summer of 2011 to rewire the attic in my 1944 Alameda house and bring it up to code, and to do some rewiring in the detached garage. Sattler said he preferred to work on a time and materials basis rather than quote me a price for the work. It was ungodly expensive.
Since that time I have had have now had two different electricians up in the attic again (in 2012 and in July 2013) to redo work that Sattler Electric was supposed to do in the first place. Sattler's crew cut a lot of corners in the attic where I was unlikely to look, and where as it turns out the city inspector did not bother to look either.
There were six inches of exposed wire near where the service lines come into the house, the junction boxes were not done properly, and wires were stapled hastily to the joists and covered over with insulation to hide what had been done, rather than using stringers or running the line through the joists per code.
I was charged for time on the phone with Sid Sattler discussing the work to be done, charged travel time in both directions for the crew from their Oakland shop to my Alameda home, actually charged for time in Sattler's shop when his crew was restocking their truck after my job, and I observed one member of the crew picking stray bits of wire up with his fingers on the clock one at a time rather than just using a broom to do the task quickly and efficiently. Unbelievable.
When I complained to Sattler about the most absurd of the above charges, he refused to compromise on any of it. I paid him off to be done with it, and have spent another $1,000 since then having work redone properly. Buyer beware.

RB Electric is a wonderful family electrical business - hire them!
My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and we needed all new electrical. Our house is very old, from 1926 so it's cloth and tube.
We spoke with several companies and decided to go with RB Electic. The owner, Rigo, came out and walked us through what we needed. He is a pleasure to work with - clearly an expert at his craft and eager to provide a really good experience for us. We found his prices to be reasonable given the complexity of the work.
Rigo and his crew showed up on time and were ready to get started. Our job took an entire day and he had all of the materials (boxes, switches, etc) ready to go with him. They removed all of the old electrical and replaced it with new wiring and the correct boxes for the oven and fan hood. They worked very hard all day long and ask me a few questions along the way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.
I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. Rigo and his crew are by far the best electricians I've ever worked with and we'll be hiring them again in the future. I highly recommend getting a quote from RB Electric and considering them for your electrical needs.

Roman and Danny have been working on our building in San Francisco to bring us up to fire code. From the moment I met these two guys I knew we were in excellent hands! They're both highly skilled, considerate of our pets and go the extra mile to get the job done right.
Thanks Roman and Danny, we really appreciate you!

The man who was sent out by this company could not tell me what was wrong with my heater, but he told me I needed a new one. When I asked the cost of a new heater, he told me he didn't know, that the bill would come after the work was completed! That's when I knew something was very wrong with this company. I have had many big and small home repair projects done over many years and no one has been unable to give me the cost of the materials. I was desperate for heat and agreed to let him get a heater from his supplier. He took my heater and thermostat, and when he left I checked out these reviews on yelp. I called the company and said I was not wiling to go forward on the project. The woman I spoke with got angry with me! This business has been around for years, but considering their ridiculous policy about not saying upfront what materials will cost and hiring an uninformed worker, maybe it's time to close up shop.
