I thought I had three outlets that did not work; it turned out to be four. I suspect that they had been out for quite a while. I thought the problem was with my blow dryers, so I just let my hair dry on its own. I never expected it could be my wiring. I went to several outlets and decided to call an electrician when none worked. The referral my neighbor gave me for a company he uses could only come out for a few days. I checked Yelp for electricians near me and Jamie's Power was top on the list. He had great reviews, although none from anyone I know. I read the other reviews these people wrote and they seemed like honest reviews.

Jamie came out the next day and replaced a GFCI, outlet and then the others worked. I was excited and I tried all the other formally dead outlets, they worked. but the prongs on the plugs came out hot. I called Jamie back and he came out and replaced them

This company is knowledgeable, reasonably priced, prompt, and friendly. He does not take credit cards, English is not easy for him. Neither of these will keep me from calling him again.

A couple of months after moving into our new home my wife and I had a list of electrical items we needed help with.  We had two ceiling fans to be installed, one where there was existing but damaged wiring and another where new wiring had to be installed altogether.  We had exterior lights that ran 24/7, there was no wall switch to control them and we could not figure out how to adjust the light sensor to turn them off during the day (previous owners said they let them run all the time).  Lastly there was a motion sensor light in the garage that I installed and now it would not turn off.

Jaime showed up on time and was very polite.  We went over the scope of the work and made sure he had access to the attic and everywhere he needed to finish the projects.

Jaime went right to work and completed everything in less than a full day, we are very happy with the work he did.  I was able to install one ceiling fan myself but the other two were beyond my skill (apparently so was the garage motion sensor).  We are grateful for the work Jaime did and now we have a local electrician we will call for all our electrical home projects!

Please read as 2.51 and that's being generous.  I don't like giving poor reviews to small businesses, but my experience was pretty negative.  One of my kitchen lights was flickering, then went out.  It was a relatively new LED bulb and the previous bulb in that fixture had also failed, which made me suspect it was the fixture since the bulbs in the other fixture hadn't failed.  I had recently read Terry T;s review and decided to call Jaime.  He came out to take a look at it and made an appointment to come the next day.  He didn't give me an estimate and I didn't ask him for one.  When he didn't come the following day I contacted him and he said he had forgotten.  We made another appointment for the next day and he did arrive.  He worked on the fixture, replaced the bulb, which still didn't work, then put in a bulb he had, which did work.  He left me that bulb until I could get another bulb, saying he would return to switch them out.  When I asked what I owed him I was astonished when he told me $300.  It was less than an hour's work.  A few days later I texted him that I had a new bulb.  He came over a couple of days later and exchanged the bulbs.  I had assumed the $300 would be covering his return trip, but he asked me for $30 more for gas.  I grudgingly paid him.  I felt ripped off and will definitely not be hiring him again.

We hired Jaime to install our bedroom chandelier. He and his associate were very responsive from the start and I got a great sense of their knowledge and capabilities within the first few minutes of our conversation. In fact, Jaime was available that same afternoon. During the install, Jaime checked in with me at several key points to ensure I was OK with his approach and gave me thoughtful options. I will surely keep Jaime in mind for future projects.

Our florescent light fixture in the kitchen stopped working. Jaime said he could could come by this afternoon after another job and check it out. Approached the job in a systematic way. Then  went to get the part and installed it. He was efficient, focused and took care in doing the installation of the ballast. It was great. I would have had to wait one or two days for others I called and we needed this done today.

I have an ADU that lost power due to outdated equipment. I called Jaime who came over the same day for an estimate. He was quickly able to provide an accurate estimate and plan. Within two days Jaime rewired the ADU, installed a new sub panel, and ran new wiring and conduit from the main panel to the adu. Jaime is upfront, honest, reliable and worth every penny. If you're looking for an electrician look no further.

Jaime installed 2 ceiling fans in our new home. He did great work for a very reasonable rate, and was able to schedule the work fairly quickly. I definitely recommend him!

Five stars is not nearly enough.  I requested estimates from seven electricians on Yelp. I sent pictures and described what I wanted done.  I said I would like the work completed sometime over the next three days and asked for estimates.  

Four electricians wanted to set up appointments to provide an estimate and then schedule the actual work. Two electricians provided tentative rates or estimates that to my mind seemed excessive.

Jaime was the only one who provided a firm and exceedingly reasonable estimate based on the pictures and description of work.  He was available to do the work the next morning.  He showed up and immediately began working.  It took a little over an hour to complete the repair.

The before and after pictures speak for themselves.  He cleaned up a massively out of control set wires in a junction box in the garage and ran a new wire to a new outlet closer to the garage door opener eliminating the need for an extension cord.  

Jaime's English is a bit limited but we were able communicate okay.  He could see exactly what needed to be done so communication really wasn't an issue.

In terms of results, the finished project is above and beyond what I had expected.

Jaime's power came by to give a estimate price is reasonable. He comes by with his assistant give you a quote once you agree on the price they will work on the project ASAP. Very reliable honest hard working person local in San Pablo if you need someone to help with light fixtures. Jaime help me convert my old 4pin CFL lights to new LED can lights. Looks great !

Their team was very responsive in giving an estimate, scheduling the work, and following up with any questions. Arrived on time, did great work, and was a reasonable value for cost. Highly recommend.

Jamie is confident and knowledgeable about how to deal with electrical problems. He's somewhat challenged with his English skills, but he is smart and willing to work with his clients. I needed to make one more change on the electrical work he did, and we agreed to a fair rate, and he's coming back to do that electrical work for me... I would recommend Jamie for your electrical needs.

At first the price seemed unusually cheap, which I was happy about, but the job ultimately proved more complicated -- and the price was still perfectly fair.  

The job was a lot of work, but Jaime kept at it.  When it proved more difficult than it had first appeared to him, he came back the next day and fired away at it.  

I don't know much about wiring so I was partly relying on his solid YELP reviews, but given what had to be accomplished (and he was by himself both days) he did a really solid job.

Jaime did an excellent job on a light fixture repair that was too small to convince professionals to reasonably quote but too complex to do ourselves.  Compared to others that took days to schedule a call, discuss the issue, get pictures, come up with a quote (or even charge to provide an estimate) - Jaime was incredibly responsive and accommodated to visit and repair within a day of getting in touch with him.

Jaime was punctual, communicative, and did a great job swapping our old fam for a new light fixture.

Jaime and his partner responded quickly to our message seeking assistance with our problem circuit breaker. Turned out it was a wiring issue affecting our dishwasher and garbage disposal. The original wiring could well have resulted in a fire- Jaime showed us the scorch marks. He finished the job in a couple of hours and all is well. Highly recommend!

Jaime and his staff were prompt in responding to our request for electrical box issues over the weekend, came out promptly to give a free estimate on the following Monday, diagnosed the problem quickly, and were able to replace our electrical box sub unit that was overheating and had become a fire hazard!  They were so great a communicating the problem, answering questions, and giving pricing explanations. I would not hesitate to hire them for my electrical needs in the future!

Exceptional customer service. We originally called out another contractor who cancelled on us last minute. Luckily Jaime was able to be at our house in under an hour to fix our outdoor electrical outlet. Even though it wasn't the outlet I thought it was over the phone (washing machine as opposed to regular), he only charged me a little more. Breaker work also needed to be done and he was able to do that lickity split. Easy to pay as he accepted both cash and zelle. He even replaced the unit with one that was much much nicer. I felt very good with this service and would highly recommend it.

Asked Jaime to replace  bathroom exhaust fan. Great communication and fast service. Jaime even picked up the fan from Home Depot that I ordered. Work is done on time. Very reasonable price. Professional. Highly recommend.

Such an awesome electrician. I will definitely call him when I need work done again. Jaime came by and cleaned up a very old and not very reliable Electrical panel. He also installed an electric dryer outlet, garage door opener outlet, dishwasher outlet, and did some rewiring and wiring clean up--including putting in new proper circuit breakers. Jaime responded quickly and checked 3 ceiling non-functioning remote controlled ceiling fans and determined that the receivers were the problem, so that I can now decide whether to repair or replace. He also installed a new bathroom exhaust fan I had purchased as a replacement. Reasonable rates.

I highly recommend Jaime for any electrical projects. I received few quotes for a project and Jaime was by far the lowest. He was also very responsive and quickly completed the project.

Jaime installed a ceiling fan and two ceiling light fixtures. Quick, competent and at a much lower cost than other electricians I consulted. I'll use him again.
