I'd definitely recommend John. He reinstalled a bathroom lighting fixture for us this past week. He was prompt in responding to my initial inquiry, got us on his calendar, and was friendly and helpful throughout. Will call him again next time we need an electrician.

Fantastic crew! I needed a Tesla charger installed. I got a fixed quote based on a few photos and layout sketch and was explained everything related to permits and possible issues with capacity. They arranged permits with the city, scheduled installation, got everything installed in a few hours, then came out for the city inspector visit.

I used yelp to get quotes from several electricians to install a west elm chandelier light and David's response was the quickest and had the most reasonable rate. David was also super understanding when I had to reschedule last minute. Most important though, he did SUCH an amazing job! I absolutely love the new light and David even helped me decide the right lengths for the different bulbs. Highly recommend!!!

Amp Electric are super experienced and professional folks. Jaime initially came out to quote the work to install a new exhaust fan and I immediately had good vibes from him. These guys are genuine and care about the work, and gave a very fair price. I never felt like they were trying to pull one on us, and at this point we have met a lot of contractors looking to rip off new homeowners. Also the entire time we worked together they were always respectful of our space and wore masks. As with all old houses there was a bunch of weird stuff hiding behind the walls but they went above and beyond to take care of things the right way per code. We ended up also hiring them to replace our dangerous Federal Pacific electric panel and they took care of the communication with PGE and building permits as well. And most importantly they were AWESOME with communication. Jaime made it clear that we could always reach out to see how things were going (and working with PGE means that there are gonna be months of waiting before work can start) so we never felt abandoned and he would promptly respond with our status whenever we reached out. These guys are a diamond in the rough, I can't recommend them enough!

Lenny is the best electrician my husband and I have come across in the Bay Area. Lenny is professional, smart, efficient, honest, and able to problem solve electrical issues with ease. We needed electrical work to install our HotSpring Spa. We wanted the spa to be installed immediately and Lenny made time for us. I was unaware that the spa would work better if converted to a 230 volt operation from 115 volt. Lenny explained this to me and was able to install with his team without any issues. He took the time to make sure everything was in working order before leaving. We were extremely impressed by his work. His prices are much better than other electricians in the surrounding area. Lenny also took the time to check in the following day to make sure we were happy and everything was still working well. We will definitely be using Lenny and his team for future electrical work. Highly highly recommend.

I contacted Jason for several electrical issues and he called me one morning and said he could come over in about 15 minutes. He came over with several guys and a few of my jobs turned out to be a bit more complicated and it became clear to me that because Jason squeezed me in, he didn't really have enough time to take care of all of my projects, in spite of the fact that I had not indicated that my issues were immediate. He left having handled only 2 issues, but left 2 other issues, half finished. It was clear that they were having trouble figuring out how to fix them, and that they needed to be somewhere else and couldn't give those projects the time they needed.  He told me he would come back, but then I didn't hear back from him. I was really disappointed, because he has good reviews, and maybe had he scheduled me with a regular time slot instead of squeezing me in, I would have gotten full service and he would have had all of my projects completed.

So every once in a while I come across a company that is doing it right.  I can add Regent5 to that very short list.  I had an urgent issue....family coming into town, Savant system unresponsive...URRRRR.  Bestbuy, as usual, slow and unresponsive.  Searched out Regent5 on Yelp and Cham got my entertainment center up an running in about 15min in time for family visit.  I plan to upgrade my Savant and the installation with Regent5.  These guys just get it.......relationship, service, quality, value.

Yevgeny was extremely helpful! I called him about our leaking kitchen sink and after texting him photos of the pipe, he was over within 15 minutes. He found and fixed the problem within another 15 minutes. We'd definitely hire General SF again!

needed some electrical work done around the house & these guys were seriously helpful. They provided some quick & easy work around the place with no problems what so ever. I'm pretty sure I needed some panels replaced & they did it pretty much hassle free for an affordable price. I'm glad I found them when I needed them because I still need work around my house haha.

I have used Brian Archbold as an electrician on many different jobs. He completely wired in my Photovoltaic solar system and is always responsive and knowledgeable. He is honest and has great staff.

We originally contacted Alley Electric and two more electricians earlier this year after moving to our current house.  It is almost 30-year old house and the electric main box has been used since the original owner. Although it is still functioning OK, we wanted to upgrade 100 amp to 125/150 amp service.

Alley's quote was a little bit higher than another one, but the follow-up and response was much better, so we decided to try Alley since we were looking for a reliable electrician for other electrical work planned. We ended up with requesting several smaller-scale electrical work first before the main box upgrade. They were flexible to support our new requests in a timely manner with reasonable price.

Definitely, we'll contact them again for our other electrical work. And I've already recommended Alley Electric to our real estate agent friend.

Victor was wonderful! He was extremely punctual, did excellent work, was a great communicator and did everything he said he would and more. He is also a pleasure to work with and reasonably priced. I highly recommend his services.

We had an electrical problem Saturday night so I called several electricians Sunday morning, when most are unavailable.   This was urgent because a disabled family member needs critical medications stored below 40 degrees and the refrigerator had switched off, along with several ceiling lights.   Geoff Williams responded quickly and offered to do a FaceTime consultation to diagnose the problem.   He then guided me through the process of resetting several circuit breaker switches to determine if any were malfunctioning.  The lights came on, the fridge returned to life, and the smoke detector alarms stopped beeping.  I was very grateful for his competence and kindness!

PJ Erwin is a company that is honest and trustworthy and lives up to their word.  The electrical box in the home in Berkeley dated back to the 40's and needed to be sorely updated.  Peter was extremely helpful and patient in walking me through what needed to be done.  Due to updated codes the electrical box could not be within 15 feet of the gas meter.  With a fireplace next to the meters we had to relocate the electrical panel to the other side of the house.  Peter and Christian were able to arrange for the City of Berkeley to come out for inspections and have PG&E move the electrical power lines to the new panel.  We passed City of Berkeley electrical inspection and are extremely happy with PJ Erwin's work.  They communicated via email and text every step of the way what was going on and what was happening next.  I plan on other major electrical work in the house and PJ Erwin will be the company that I trust and will use again.

As always, we receive excellent service from this company from the office staff to the technicians.  This week, Gerald B.  arrived on time, was very courteous, professional and is just a really nice person.  He also used PPE.  He discovered a major pipe problem, and explained it to us using photographs and a video.  We used this company many times and will continue to do so.
