I am a Sacramento area Realtor with a buyer in the Stockton area. After the buyer's home inspection the buyer had concerns about the electrical throughout the house, the inlaw quarters and shed. I looked on Yelp, called Watts Electrical Services and spoke with the owner, Daniel.  He agreed to come out the next day (although he offered to come out that afternoon) I much appreciated his willingness to come sooner rather than later.  Daniel came out and looked at the electrical on the property and determined what was needed, wrote up an estimate/report for the buyer. The property needed an upgraded panel and re-wiring along with a lot of other things that were safety issues. The sellers agent did not agree with the findings and I needed further documentation from Daniel, which he easily provided on over the weekend. Even before I asked for further assistance he had checked in with me to see if I had any questions.

I wish I had somebody like Daniel in the Sacramento area for my team. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Watts Electrical Services. If you need electrical services, please don't hesitate to use him.

While we did not use Watts, I was impressed with the speed and thoughtfulness of their most timely response. They would definitely be on my short list if I needed an electrician in the future. They would be worth a call.

Long story short:
My husband & I were experiencing frustration & difficulty with another electrician who kept ghosting us whenever we asked for an update (They kept us in the dark for nearly 5 months & we lost hope/patience...) . We simply wanted someone to help us upgrade our electrical panel (100 amp to a 200 amp) & install a Tesla wall charger in our garage. After doing some local research, I found Daniel on a few search engine sites and god - are we ever so thankful!  I explained to him our situation & he gave us some helpful insight on what he can do & next thing you know, he executed the services we requested beyond our expectation.  From our first encounter with Daniel & throughout the whole service - Daniel was very professional , courteous, kind, & his overall work performance/work results was phenomenal!

Watt's installed a home EV charger for us recently and we are very satisfied and impressed with their work. They communicated well with us throughout the entire process. Highly recommend their services.

We got an astronomical quote from an electrical company. We turned it down. Lucky me, we then came across Watts Electrical Services.  They installed our car charger. The installation was fast. They didn't add additional costs. Now, I'm enjoying car charging at home. Thank you. My bad, I forgot the name of the electrician.

Lost power Monday when neighbors tree took lines from the weather head on my home,  three days later PGE informs me I needed an electrician. I have a 67-year-old brother on dialysis who lives with me and he needs heat. I pulled up Yelp, closed my eyes, and prayed for God to send the right person. He guided me to Watts. That evening, as it got dark, Daniel stopped by and looked at the job , i knew he was the right person for the job. The next day, he arrived with two young men. How beautiful to see this skill being taught. He said proudly these are my sons. Turns out I needed to upgrade some things to pass inspection. Daniel explained everything, and upgrades are being done.  I highly recommend them they are knowledgeable and respectable, and most of all, honest . I will call them for all my electrical needs and you should too. These are good people.

I called to request an estimate because we received an estimate elsewhere but the homeowner thought it was way too high. I explained to the gentleman I spoke to and he was very helpful. He answered all my questions and was very honest. I will definitely be using them for any future electrical services I may need.

Daniel is very professional. We ask him to help us inspect the electrical panel and wire. On the same day, he was able to come in and do an estimate for us. He helps us find out the problem with our panel and fix it at a reasonable price. I will recommend Daniel to anyone who needs a reliable electrician.

I moved to Central Valley 2 years ago and needed an electrician to install new wiring for my flood light camera above my garage and my doorbell camera. I shopped around with several electricians and Daniel was the one who was able to work with my budget. He installed both my security cameras a few months after we had moved into our new home. We used him again to install NEMA outlet for my Tesla charging station in my garage. I highly recommend him and would use him again for any electrical needs.

In September had an electrical emergency.  Main panel needed to be replaced.  Daniel and Watts Electrical Service were the only company that got back to me - well eventually another business called me a few days after my initial calls.

Watts were professional, prompt and most importantly got the job done and power (and AC) back on in the house.  Will definitely call on then again for my electric needs.

I am writing a review about Watts Electrical. I give Danial and Watts Electrical 5 stars and here's why:

I recently purchased a Tesla and needed to install the Tesla wall charger in my garage. I did my due diligence and called almost a dozen electricians in the Stockton/Lodi area and got quotes from each. Watts Electrical was the one chosen to do the work. I applied for the EVGrid grant to have my charger and electrician installation cost reimbursed. One of the requirements was to have a load calculation completed by the electrician, as part of the application process. All of the electricians I called did not want to help me do a load calculation because I am assuming it would take extra time for them. In reality, it's like 10 minutes of math. The only person that went out of their way to help me was Daniel from Watts Electrical. He came to my house to do an initial inspection on the electrical box. I also have solar panels. He also provided me the load calculations and I submitted his quote and the load calculations to the grant folks and they were good with it. They told me it would take 60 days for me to have my reimbursement approved, and so I told Daniel I'd have to wait 2 months. He was cool with it and did not pressure me in any way. Fast forward 2 months, and I have my Tesla wall charger. He comes and install it and it looks great and works excellent. He submits the paperwork to the city, so that it can be permitted. 3 weeks later, the city inspector and Daniel shows up to meet him, and the inspector inspects the work. Everything passes of course, and I receive my permit card on the spot. Long story short, out of all of the electricians I called, only Daniel gave me the time of day and helped me with my load calculations. The others told me to do it myself. I think that is very telling of the kind of person he is and the company itself. So if you need an EV charger installed and do not want to worry and stress about working with a contractor, I think Watts is the business to go with. = )

Requested a service call ($125) and they came out same day and were even early. Guys were friendly and fixed it quickly. They however did not present me with a quote first which may have been partially my fault for not making myself clear when they were there - instead went ahead and fixed the issue immediately- usually a great thing but not if they charge way above market rate - they  were about to charge me $250 just to replace the gfci - but when I was surprised as went to get the money I came back to them to find that they checked with the office and confirmed it was only $185 - after they left I called a couple of other electricians and they all quoted me between 110 -140 for doing the same work. So in my opinion they are way too expensive other than that good and friendly service.

Installed an EV charger for me and was responsive, reliable and easy to work with. Also did a fantastic job on the install.

We contracted Daniel at Watts Electrical Services to properly install 4 lights (one in each bedroom) and 2 vents/fans for the restrooms. They arrived on time and stayed late. After a run in with an unlicensed contractor it's really nice to have someone we trust. They will be back next week to finish the job but we think we found our electrical guy for life! We are excited to continue working with them!

Very happy with the service provided by Daniel. He showed up on time and was friendly and courteous. Would definitely hire him again for more electrical work and would definitely recommend.

We needed to have a main panel swap and add an NEMA 14-50 outlet for an EV charger in our garage.  Daniel was prompt in responding, came out to see what needed to be done, and gave us a competitive estimate.  He was very good at listening to what we needed and answering all our questions.  He got the necessary permits and coordinated with PG&E and the city inspectors so our power was shut off only a short period of time.  We also appreciated that Daniel followed Covid-19 guidelines with social distancing and always wearing a mask.  We wouldn't hesitate to call on him again.

Daniel was awesome! I was looking for an electrician to install my new Tesla Wall charger for a reasonable price. I also wanted to have a city permit availed since its the right thing to do. Compared to other electricians that yelp recommended, Daniel was able to get the permit and not try to pass on the responsibility to me. Like what do I know about getting the a permit from the city. The other electricians told us that we had to get the permit ourselves.

Daniel was very professional and honest. He showed up on time and was able to do the job nicely. He's always prompt in responding to my messages. I would definitely not think twice about hiring him again for another project if needed.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would give Daniel 10 stars! My old electrical panel had a breaker out due to a PGE shutoff. I called Daniel and he came out the same day to identify the issue. Once we found out the problem, we decided to fully upgrade our electrical panel. Daniel kept us in the loop during his communication with the city and PGE on our project. He answered our questions and gave suggestions. He was always easy to reach by phone call. He finished putting up our electrical panel in 2 days. PGE gave us a bit of hard time and we appreciated Daniel communicating with them on our behalf. Daniel cares about his customers and is very passionate about what he does. His prices were reasonable and I will continue to work with Daniel for future electrical projects.

I messaged them and they were out the next day to install a new 220 outlet so that we could change our Tesla. After looking at the outlet that we had, he showed how to just lower the amperage on the Tesla app and explained that I didn't need a new outlet. I appreciate their honesty and not charging me for something that I didn't need and they said no charge. I appreciated them saving money and bought them some lunch. Thank you!!

Called To get somebody to fix an emergency ... no one ever officially answered the phone ...Just ringing than a pick up and silence...no hello or nothing..really awkward. I never figured out the guys name. Told him the  problem...he  said they were busy, which I understood. However he promised that he would call me back within a half hour to let me know if they could get somebody out or if it wasn't going to happen. He promised a couple times and took my number down...never heard back. It's a good thing I tried someone else because I'd still be waiting with no electricity. I'd recommend using a different company.

Everyone recommended a breaker panel replacement. He was able to fix the problem with just replacing a few breakers. It was temporary but will last me a good long while till I can come up with 11000 - 12000 dollars worth of replacing the panel. He is heaven sent

I needed a Tesla wall charger installed with a new 60a circuit. These folks gave an excellent price out of all the quotes I got, and the service was top notch. They were very patient with my many questions and explained everything they were doing in an easy to understand manner. They were also always punctual and friendly. I could not have had a better experience.

Daniel went above and beyond to help put in all the wiring, conduit, outlet boxes on our backyard pergola, landscape lighting and timer control box for our front landscape lighting.  We appreciate all his hard work and will call him for our next project!

We needed 5 new smoke detectors installed, normal ceiling height, we already had the detectors. They quoted $65 per unit. Which we were okay with, assuming it was complicated.  He arrived on time, practiced proper Covid protocols, and installed the smoke detectors. However, he completed all 5 in 15 minutes. $390. We felt ripped off, $390 for 15 minutes work? Even if you account for driving time, that's outrageous. I just had some other work done by Allen's, they charged me $95 an hour.

Daniel is professional, respectful and quick to respond. I had him install a new Tesla charger in my garage. The scheduling process was easy and straightforward. He came out to my place and provided free estimate. He completed the work In a timely manner. I would highly recommend him.

Great experience from initial contact to job completion. I had them run a long line through some conduit and install an exterior GFI outlet and install two new exterior boxes for floodlights. The work was done professionally and looks great and works perfectly. The price was super competitive. When I have new electrical needs, I now know who to call.

I wanted to have a Tesla wall charger installed. It was easy to schedule with them and fast in responding. They came by the same day I called them. They came earlier than they said they would and that was convenient for me. Finished the work and it was a clean install. I was happy with their service.

I contracted with Daniel to take care of a fairly complicated issue and I am very happy with the results. He was the second electrician to give an opinion and he was able to provide a much more detailed explanation of the issue as well as suggest multiple possible solutions. Made an appointment for an estimate.  Never showed up.  I get that it's a busy time, but it doesn't show professionalism or reliability when a business doesn't show up or call to apologize and reschedule.  I guess they didn't want my business!

Showed up at scheduled time! Professional with quick responses. Found my problem which was an easy fix... instead of charging me more to fix it told me how to do it myself. I will definitely be using watts electrical services in the future.

Excellent customer service from the time I contacted them on Yelp until they came and pinpointed the problem with my fire detectors. They were ultra careful with cleanliness and COVID-19 compliant. I was so thankful they came within 24 hours because the beeping noise was driving me mad. Highly recommended.

He is such a nice guy and so professional!  Our electrical issue was not an easy fix but he was able to get the job done and we were so pleased with his services. We will definitely call him again!

I received a quick response from the business and he communicated well about timeframes and what was going on. I feel like the price was a little high for the 10-15 min job it was but I had little choice as we are in the process of selling our house. It could very well be the going price so I don't want to hang up too much on that. Otherwise everything went smoothly.

These guys really helped out when I needed it. Dan came out and looked at my system at the end of his workday even though he could've pushed it out to another day. Our 1st meeting was fantastic. Electrician, Daniel Watts did a walk through, brought ideas and estimated quotes for our guest shed project. He was very friendly and left a positive impression.  Our 2nd meeting was also good....he started project but could not finish as he stated he was unaware sheetrock had to be installed. So, he had to wait until our sheetrock contractor could start/finish before he could finish. I kept him posted on progress of sheetrock contractor, but then he wanted to charge me an inconvenience fee, all of a sudden, to finish his part as he had other projects on the calendar. After review of terms of contract, there was never a mention of this type of fee and I also found emails and Yelp messages that he was made aware of sheetrock needing to be done, so we straightened everything out. But during our final visit, there was definitely a change of attitude, and my positive impression from our initial visit turned into an okay impression as his positive energy somehow disappeared. Lesson learned: Constant communication is always key when dealing with any contractors.
