We inquired Frank for assistance based on excellent prior reviews to install a 240v outlet and a fan/light combo vent for our bathroom. Frank was professional and courteous during the initial estimate and remained so through the rest of the process after accepting his service. He was prompt with negotiated times and always responsive. The installation of the 240v proved elaborate, necessitating fishing wiring through 4 floors of our townhome, but he did an excellent job. He limited the amount of texture and painting that would be required for us to complete after the work was done, which was sincerely appreciated. The installation of the bathroom vent also went smoothly, and we no longer have to rely on a constant open window to achieve the same effect. We are grateful for Frank's consideration to keep our costs down where possible. Frank is a genuine person and possesses a notable integrity that is seemingly rare these days. Without hesitation, we would consider contacting Frank for any future projects.

Just great! From the estimate to the installation, these guys know their stuff. I had LED lighting installed in my living room and dining room and they did an excellent job. They were clean the installation was perfect. I couldn't have asked more. I put this job off for several years because I did not know who to hire. So glad I hired Point Loma Electric. My service guys were Roland and Michael.

I worked with James from Custom Electric on a breaker/outlet repair. He was extremely responsive when setting up the service repair and very punctual when arriving and resolving it. I will be using them for all my electric repairs and needs going forward.

AEI were responsive, on time, and affordable. We needed to get our kitchen cabinet lights installed and they did a very good job. Roddy was very polite and friendly. We had some questions and he answered them all without hesitation and he did a great job with our cabinet lighting. We definitely recommend them.

So, the day after Christmas, at 6am, my 93 year old Dad's electricity went out and he had no heat. It was in the 40s and freezing in his home. I contacted an electrician we had used before and he advised me that he was on vacation. I looked on Yelp and found Carlsbad Electrical Services who had 5 stars and noted a quick response time. At 9 am I called and Dennis answered on the 2nd ring. He listened to the situation and offered to come for sure by 11 am or sooner if he could reschedule another appointment. He arrived at 10:22 assessed the situation, and had the heat on around 11:00. He reviewed the electrical in the house and made a few, thoughtful recommendations. Dennis provided a detailed estimate before beginning work. They are very professional and they will be my first call in the future for any electrical needs.

These people were fantastic. Scott and two additional team members came. Explained their approach of troubleshooting and it worked. Found and repaired, cleaned, were polite and professional. Making an appointment was easy, the electrician reconfirmed when en route, asked me if there was anything additional he could assist with on the way out.
I will use again. Thank you

I had a problem with a circuit upstairs in my condo. I called and everyone was super professional but the receptionist didn't want to discuss pricing and left it to the tech.
Orlando shows up at my condo at 3:00pm as expected. I tell him the issue, and show him the breakers and all the CFGI outlets I have and have already reset. He resets the one in my bathroom and repairs my problem with one finger push. I told him that I did that earlier and nothing changed.
He then starts to tell me the itemized total $165.00. This is why I wanted to discuss pricing for everything before he came out. $90 for 30 min of troubleshooting, which he did not need to do because I told him the issue. Also he was not even here for that duration of time. Then I was charged the service fee of 75 dollars, which I was content on paying because ultimately he was able to fix my issue. For some reason everyone dodges the question so that the tech can bend you over later.
Not only did I tell him the problem that I had exactly, I also showed him how to fix it. I'm upset because he was here for less than 5 min of work and didn't need to use any of his tools, yet I was charged a crazy amount.
Then we had an argument about how much it should be, The tech goes on to lecture me in my own home comparing his service to a car locked door situation and it costing 90 dollars for a 5 min job to unlock his car. I'd gladly pay $90 for him to come out and press a button. I had already paid the man. At this point I just wanted him out the house but he just stood there. I had to walk him out. So it is 3:10pm, I thanked him for the fix but expressed that the 90 dollar fee on top of their service charge is unnecessary in this situation and I can be mad about it. I will not be using this company again.
In response to Jerry's reply. If you read the review, he did fix my issue. So i still needed him to come out. And you may want to check you order of operations. The woman on the phone clearly states that the technician will go over pricing with you when he arrives. May want to go back to your recording. Also, if I knew speaking to you was even an option, I would have. The technician stated he can't do anything else for me as far as the overpriced fee goes. I have no intention of flaming any business. Just sharing my experience. Isn't this what yelp is for? I hope your business still thrives. I have a family to take care of which I am sure you do too. I just won't do it by charging bogus fees. I also won't be lectured in my own living room in front of my family for asking for a more reasonable price. Have a good day Jerry...
Wish I read the yelp reviews before calling you guys. Bait and switch method was totally applied here.

Our Electrical Panel fuses were popping. We decided, since our home is a little old, to have all new Panel with 200 AMP and Solar ready installed. Richard gave us a great quote and took care of every detail one must cover to have such work done on a home. Scheduling City and SDGE and kept us informed and on schedule. He was very reliable and his super crew were just the best ever! I could not tell they had been here other than the new panel on the wall! Very COVID-19 and very considerate as well. We would give them a 10 rating if possible. Honest and very dependable! Everything in writing! We will call them every time we need work done in the future as well. Alex B.

Dayz Electric came through for me again!!! I called Eddie after I noticed that my EV charger was making a weird noise while charging. Since it was already about 6 years old, I decided to just get a new one. I asked Eddie to install my new charger and he did a great job.
I had to reschedule on him twice because Amazon delayed my order. Lucky for me Eddie was very understanding. I'm back on the road thanks to Dayz Electric!
I will refer Eddie to anyone switching over to an Electric Vehicle. l

If there was a six star rating, Carlos would receive it. Carols and his crew (Mike and Luis) spent two days with us completely retexturing our ceilings, installing light fixtures and a bathroom exhaust fan. We also had repair work completed on some walls. Everything was done with delicate orange peel texture that turned out just beautiful. It looks like we have a brand new home. It is no wonder that they are backed up six weeks at a time with work...you couldn't hire a better crew. Danelle was quick to respond to our request for a quote and kept us updated until the day the work was completed. Everything that others have stated on Yelp is completely accurate. They are the best of the best and we would hire them again in a heartbeat. We love our ceilings! I wish they installed interior doors!

We have had several projects done by HB Electric including the entire rewiring of our home after a fire. They did excellent work in every case. We now have several excellent electrical and internet cabling that provides some additional conveniences that we did not have before.

My parent's house in OC went totally crazy when some of the circuit breakers were burned out which knocked out the kitchen. So I called O'Hagan for help. Andrei showed up within like 30 minutes after I got off the phone with the lady, he also texted me before he arrived. Andrei was professional, informative, and courteous. Not only did he fix up everything, but Andrei also found extra problems with the wiring, and he explained to my elderly parents thoroughly with a detailed diagram then proceeded to fix that up as well. We are very happy with the service and work. Five stars, two thumbs up, and totally recommended!
PS: My father is diabetic and he has his insulin medicine in the refrigerator, so he was so happy and grateful that O'Hagan could send Andrei out that fast!!!

Armes replaced a ceiling fan hanging from a 19' ceiling and replaced a light timer in the garage. I called a few weeks back to set up the appointment and get an estimate. I spoke to David who was very helpful answering some additional questions regarding the fan itself to be sure I was buying one that would work in our room. Today, electricians Ty and Scott did the installation. They were very knowledgeable, professional, worked quickly and followed my lead by keeping their anti-COVID masks on the entire time without me having to ask. The entire experience was flawless - great job all around!
