This electrician Mario is exceptional. He performed a short notice GFCI socket install to code, cleaned up, was super nice and very professional. I will call Mario for all my electrical needs going forward. I gave him a $15 tip above the agreed upon price because he made this whole process so easy!

I have had Mario do a few projects for me over the past year, and in both instances I have been extremely impressed by his responsiveness, professionalism, attention to detail, respect for my property, and trustworthiness. We're doing a house remodel where there was a TON of work to be done. We ended up hiring a different electrician who was just awful. He would come to the house at 8pm when he said he would be there at 8am. He wouldn't even show up a lot of times. Told us the job would take 2 days then 2 weeks go by and only half the job was done and he actually created more problems for us. Needless to say, we had to fire him.

We had moved into the home and needed a reliable and good electrician to come by quickly to get us back on track. We called Mario and told him what happened and he came very quickly and was able to start work that Saturday. He completed the majority of the work that day too. We finally had power to the house!  Once our kitchen was finished he came promptly to finish the job.

We will be using Mata Electric for all future projects. Highly recommend.

Nothing but good words for Mata Electic (Mario). He showed up when he promised to come; he quickly fixed a major issue with our electrical panel (main breaker was literally melting and sparking) and found the necessary part the same afternoon. While OTHER electricians may charge you a special 'emergency rate' of $400+/hr for urgent problems, Mario did NOT and had a very reasonable price. He also installed EV charger, again for very reasonable price and he did an excellent job. Would certainly consider Mata Electric  for any future projects again.

Really great service, knowledgeable, very responsive and so helpful!  We were really in a jam today and needed help urgently because half our house (including fridge and range) had no electricity and we couldn't figure out what was going on...I contacted several other electricians in the area but no one was available. I luckily found Mata on Yelp and called in a a bit of a panic. These guys had a busy schedule today too but they seemed to really care about our predicament and managed to make time to come help us same day...they fixed our electrical issue quickly, expertly, and efficiently and at a reasonable price!  I am beyond grateful and will definitely use them for future electrical needs!  So grateful and we highly recommend!!!

Mario and team worked diligently to provide some much needed lighting for our home.  The home we purchased had very little lighting and what lighting it had was very strangely configured.  Mario recommend an ideal lighting configuration that makes sense for our layout and easily installed our updated recessed lights.

He was never pushy throughout the process and was very easy to work with.  We'll definitely work with Mario in the future.

I had a job that I needed an electrician for and I sent a request on yelp; my request went out to 6 companies,  MATA electric responded immediately. Communication was quick, efficient,  and on time. He was the only one that really communicated and came through with pricing and professionalism.

We hired him to install three ceiling fans and he showed up on time, prepared and did an outstanding job!  They were quick and very professional, they cleaned up after themselves and even took the trash with them.  We were absolutely pleased and will hire them again for other projects!

Hired Mario for our home renovation and he has been outstanding.

Yelp matched my electrical project to Mario and I'm so happy it did! I had 7 light fixtures installed, some pot lights removed, pendant lights added, an LED mirror installed, and new hardwiring for a couple light fixtures.

Mario came by to see the project, gave me a quote that I considered very fair, and started the project 48 hrs. later. His team is knowledgeable, clean, and very safe. They discovered faulty wiring that could've started a fire! They addressed everything I asked and completed the project the same day. I'm so please with me the work they did. My only regret is that he doesn't do more than electrical. Many thanks Mario & team!

The owner called back saying his rate is $150/hour during normal business hours, it's $300 to fix a light switch that wouldn't turn off the bathroom light.. then he hung up on me while I wanted to understand why he knew it would take 2 hours... really weird.

I was very impressed with Mario.  He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable.  He offered me a fair price for the projects I wanted done.  He was on time, laid out plastic sheeting to minimize any mess and cleaned up the areas when the job was completed.  Mario had me take a look at the work he completed before he left, gave me a run through of the ceiling fan controls and made sure I was satisfied with the results of each task. He and his workmate even put screws in switch plates which were missing screws.  
I highly recommend Mata Electric.  I know without hesitation I'll hire Mario to do future projects.

We had a recurring outlet failure in our guest bathroom following construction in the master bath. Frustrated and out of ideas, we found Mario on Yelp. He responded immediately and was able to come over despite his busy schedule. Within thirty minutes the issue was resolved and power restored. Friendly, professional, and reliable in every way! They came out to my house early!  Came in and spent time talking to me and getting to know my needs and expectations. They gave me an extremely reasonable bid and proceeded with the job. They put in 4 receded ceiling lights and a fan. It worked beautifully. The workers were very sweet and worked quickly. We are so happy I am going to have them finish the rest of my home. If you want someone cheap, unlicensed and will burn your house down go right ahead. If you want someone licensed, professional, safe and incredibly reasonable these are your guys. Don't use anyone else!!

I needed GFCIs installed as the last step of my kitchen remodel. I am (gasp!) doing this with a proper building permit and would not pass inspection with the regular outlets installed by the prior electrician.  Not a huge job but one that I wanted to get done ASAP so I can call for the final inspection and finish the project. I contacted Maya thru Yelp hoping to set up an appointment the following week. Instead, he asked for a phone call and after discussing the situation for a few minutes, he said that he would be out the next day.  Sure enough, the 2-man team arrived the next day, gave me a very fair price, and completed the job within the hour.  They made sure that all the details of what the inspector will want to see were in place. What can I say - they exceeded every expectation on commitment, price, and quality of service.  Definitely top of my list for all future electrical work!

I needed an electrician quickly to fix a burnt circuit in the main level of my house. Most of the people I called couldn't fit me in for 2 weeks. Mario answered right away, got me in early next day. Two outlet installs for my mounted tv and the second job for 10 cans of recessed dimmable lighting. The lighting is even smart controlled LEDs. They showed up on time, and were extremely friendly. He is very communicative and thorough. His team are easy to talk to and answer any questions you may have. They are experts at trouble shooting when faced with an issue and clean up after themselves. Highly trained efficient crew that work together. I know that if I ever need ANY electrical work done these guys are my go to. I had a relatively small job (installing some canned lights on a new switch and some new fans and lights in a couple bathrooms) but I needed it done as soon as possible. They got it done and did it right. Plus they fixed a burnt wire I didn't even know was a problem.

A GFCI outlet at my home stopped working and 2 other outlets were off as a result. I bought a good quality new GFCI outlet at Amazon and wanted a licensed electrician to replace the old outlet. We had a long and varied list of items to complete in an older home that needed some renovation and updating.  
This included installation of a large living room ceiling fan mounted to a 19' ceiling, new whole house low voltage coax for cable tv/internet service, new circuit breakers, new outlets and switches, fixing several non-functioning outlets, and installation of both new and retrofitted under-cabinet and can light LED fixtures.
