Thank you San Diego Yelpers...If it weren't for your detailed and positive reviews, I would never have found Premo Electric! Over the years, I have assembled a great group of contractors for our home (plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, etc...) but after 17 years I needed to find an electrician to deal with issues regarding our kitchen GFCI outlets. I started my search with Yelp and read about 200 glowing reviews for Premo Electric. Turns out they were quite accurate!  Every exchange I had with Premo Electric was professional and first rate...From my initial contact with Richard to the timely arrival of Christian and Peter who showed up prepared, got right to work and were finished in less than half an hour! If I ever need an electrician again, I know who I'm calling: Premo Electric. Highly recommended!.

I contacted Mike for an estimate on an electrical panel upgrade. We moved into a home that had an old 100 amp panel and I needed to put in a 200 amp panel for the EV and to get the home ready for solar. Mike was very responsive and sent me an estimate based on our conversation and photos I sent.

After agreeing on the estimate and scheduling an installation date, Mike took care of the permit and kept in contact with me up until the installation date. Mike and his employee (also named Mike) showed up on time and explained what was about to take place.  They were both very friendly and professional. During the job, I asked Mike if he can upgrade an existing outlet to a NEMA 14-50 and he did it with no questions asked. He also pointed out numerous issues that the previous owner had done that was not up to code and possibly hazardous within the electrical panel itself. Mike provided a quote on the spot for the outlet and to fix the hazards and took care of it all the same day.

After the panel was installed and the initial inspection was conducted, Mike and Mike returned to button things up and to complete the stucco and painting. After all was said and done, everything turned out perfect as if the panel was always there to begin with.

Really great workmanship.  I had a few dimmer switches and other electrical switches swapped out.  Good price for the work done.  Mark was personable and very experienced.  He actually repaired work done by another electrician - so it was nice that everything looks good and is correctly installed.

Frank put a 20 amp circuit for my mini split and did a great job. He was fast and found the best way to make it as attractive as possible. His quote was fair and he honors his work.

I never write negative reviews but you guys deserve this one.  My carpenters accidentally broke a fresh water valve under my kitchen sink.  Water was spraying all over my kitchen floor.  So I turned off the main water valve in the garage.  I called my friends at PLE&P to come over and replace a couple of water valves.  Your guy quoted $2700.  Twenty Seven Hundred F'in Dollars to do a $100 job.  I bargained him down to $300 but he had to ask his boss for approval.  What a ripoff.  To make matters worse, one of the new valves was leaking the next day.  You guys wanted more money to fix it.  I warned my 95 yr old mother to be careful of plumbers like PLE&P. I'll never call PLE&P to help me with any of my properties again.

James and Kyle did an awesome job diagnosing the issue with several circuits that were out. They were SUPER QUICK to respond, really knowledgeable and came out the same day within hours of my request ON A SATURDAY! They also quoted the same amount for a weekend day versus a regular day which is amazing! Really nice guys and made the process quick and painless. They even repaired the cover to our circuits for us free of charge and had parts on hand! We're back in business with our electricity again. THANKS GUYS!

We had a Tesla charger installed in our garage by another electrician and after 6 months of working it suddenly stopped.  We were told that our subpanel was grounded, but after having Roddy inspect it, we found out that wasn't true.  The job was more than we anticipated, but Roddy made it super easy!  He was extremely transparent and provided us with several options and quotes which we really appreciated since we are first-time homeowners (and don't know what we're doing).  Now our electrical work has been installed correctly thanks to Roddy and his team and we couldn't be happier.

Roddy was not only professional, but personable.  He even helped us lift our power rack into the garage!  We will definitely be working with AEI in the future and I highly recommend their services.

James was referred to us by the builder of our home. He was easy to get ahold of, quick to reply, and very professional. James did excellent work at our place. He installed one exterior outlet and a EV Car Charger outlet at a very reasonable price.

I was having a breaker issue so I contacted HG Electric. Greg communicated quickly and came out the next day to check things out. He did a thorough job and diagnosed the issue. I will be using him for all my electrical needs and would recommend him to anyone.

Ramon did a fantastic job installing an outlet for our dryer and an ev charging outlet. His professionalism, attention to detail and communication were all superb. He will for sure be my go to guy for all of my electrical needs.

Everything was fantastic. We had an intermittent outage in one circuit breaker and all attached to it. The electrician arrived on time and was friendly. He was perfectly knowledgeable and solved the problem quickly. The communication and billing was all very easy. Nice work!

Daniel was great in every respect.  He showed up when he said he would, and he was very quick in diagnosing and repairing a complicated wiring problem with our pool electric.  Communication was excellent; he called to let me know he was on his way and explained everything clearly. I know from having called other companies about the same issue his price was very reasonable. We have found our electrician for the future and someone I'm confident referring to my friends and neighbors.  Highly recommended!

I went out on Yelp looking for an electrician who would install an electrical connection from an existing kitchen outlet, up into a cabinet above where my new range would be installed.  I wanted to install a fan/exhaust hood
above the range, that could be plugged in.  Rick Olinger had excellent reviews and I can see why.  Rick responded immediately, asked for a
general description of the work, gave me a fair estimate as he understood
the project.  To make sure that he understood the scope of the job, he sent one of his guys (also named Rick) out to my house that day and all
aspects were confirmed.   Rick scheduled me within a couple of days so that the electrical and installation of the fan would be completed before the delivery of my new range.  They are professional, friendly, came up
with a better way to support the new hood, cleaned up, were in and out in a timely manner.  I will (and already have) recommend Richard Olinger
Electric to anyone who asks do you know of a good electrician?.  They will be my go-to for any future electrical projects!  As I mentioned above, their estimate was very fair, in fact it matched one other estimate.  Also, out of 14 electricians, Rick was the first one of only two prospects to call me personally.  He called from his truck on the way to a job.  I am a happy camper after this experience!

Also, he messaged me when he was on his way - really appreciate that since I had to wait around for others in the past. And his pricing was more than fair. In a world where gas prices are nuts he still didn't over charge me.  

I had various things but only one that could be taken care of today because I didn't have the items to install. It was super easy for Eddie and his worker to fix my backyard lighting and he gave me an estimate on the other work including some suggestions about the lighting. When I get organized I'll definitely ask them back to upgrade the yard etc. :)

We always try to hire local and independent, so Laurence checks these boxes.  He was able to quickly diagnose a couple of really annoying electrical problems that were above my pay grade.  But what I was really impressed with was the time he took over the phone and via text to help me try to resolve the problems, more than once.  That is truly the definition of service.
