I tried to install a new brace and box to support a fan.  During the process I messed up the wiring and killed power in the room and half my garage.  Vlad and one other guy came and had it fixed in an hour.  They brought some issues up to code from the legacy wiring job and did the job that I could not.  They were responsive via phone and text, arrived when they said they would, fixed my issue and cleaned up after themselves.  Pricing was reasonable. Neither high nor low based on others I talked to.  I believe it was reasonable and would use them again.

Sean came out and quickly assessed our needs. He's very pleasant to work with. He followed his plan and worked efficiently. I have a lot of confidence in his knowledge and his approach. We would definitely use Optimum again.

My families business is located in Glendale, CA & is negatively impacted due to being a none essential business that falls under the stay home order. We were notified through our alarm company that they were not getting a signal, & that is how we learned that there is an issues with our electricity. Our stress & panic level was rising as hours were passing because we were being turned down over & over by electricians due to the shutdown. The thought of the business possibly being broken into would leave us to suffer even more than we already are. For my family & I the light at the end of the tunnel was when Zenith Electrics Inc. responded back to us & scheduled a visit within the next hour. I was in shock & disbelief that I was actually able to find an electrician after being rejected so many times. The second the electricity was restored by the great technicians with lights being back on & the alarm company confirmed that they received the signal is when I knew that my family & I can go to sleep without being worried.  
As I am wrapping up this review I have tears rolling down my face due to Zenith Electric Inc. for being there for us during the most difficult time of our lives, & for restoring my faith in humanity during this virus pandemic that has left the world hopeless, & in fear.

Happy customer here. I had Madison come out for the first of 3 jobs I need electrical work for. Their team was prompt, fast, and professional. They did the work beautifully and cleaned up after themselves. For this job I had them remove a fan on my patio and replace it with a wall mount light fixture - next it will be doing all the electrical for my kitchen remodel.

I was having trouble with a new ceiling fan.  The power to it wasn't working.  MH Electric and went into my attic and re-attached the wiring.  But the fan still didn't work.  There was a problem with the remote.  Serj went to Lowes and got a replacement remote.  He only charged me for the remote and not the time it took him to go to Lowes.  

The fan now works great and my wife and I are happy.

Before having my family room repainted, we wanted to move the ceiling fan to a more aesthetically-pleasing location in the room and wanted to replace a semi-flush mount ceiling light in the hallway with a recessed light.

I called AP Electrics, and surprisingly Jose answered the phone (no need to leave a message and wait for a call back).  He scheduled the work for the following week.  He and his fellow electrician arrived on time.  They installed  the ceiling fan box in its new location and took down the ceiling fan.  Jose informed me they could not convert the hallway light to a recessed light, but would put in a flush mount light when he returned to re-install the ceiling fan once the painters were done.

One month later, when the painting was finally completed, I called Jose again and set up another appointment to re-install the ceiling fan, install the flush mount hallway light fixture, install a dimmer switch, and disconnect power to some of the outdoor lighting.  Again, the two electricians arrived on time and completed the work efficiently and competently.

Jose is wonderfully responsive and he and his fellow electricians are professional, leaving us feeling secure about their competence and knowledge.  We highly recommend this company and will certainly call them again for any electrical work when needed.

Phil showed up in time and was swift in his assessment of the issues with my electrical panel. He called in 2 more guys to bring the supplies to fix the problem right then, changed out 6 breakers and we tested the issue and it now works great with no more shorts. Such a pleasure to deal with and they are extremely reasonable in pricing. Will be using them for all my electrical needs and will refer them to friends and neighbors!

These guys are awesome!  I found them on Craigslist several years ago and was a bit skeptical since there were not referred to me by anyone (which is how I usually do business).  I remodel homes for a living and my go to electrician at the time was injured and could not assist me.  BK services came out exactly when they said they would, were very familiar with dealing with all of the compliance, permits, and meeting the inspector when needed with LA Dept of Building and Safety, finished on time, and were very reasonable.  Both Alexis and Liron who run the company are very friendly.  I have recommended them to other people in my industry and several friends in need of an electrician. I never think of using anyone else.

Scott is a licensed electrical contractor and definitely knows what he's doing when it comes to all things electricity. He is also very professional and seems very genuine.

He does charge a minimum / service call fee, so there wasn't really a free estimate, but sometimes that's the way it is I think when you don't know exactly what's wrong -- he has to start working to figure out what's going on. It does include the first hour, though, and it could be that's all he needs. After that it's an hourly rate.

So, if you definitely know what needs to be done and it's very minor, you might be able to manage yourself or use a handyman. But if you have a more complicated issue, or don't know exactly what's wrong, or just want to make sure everything will be done properly and to code -- and who doesn't when it comes to electricity? -- call Scott first.

I had a couple of things that weren't working and we didn't know the cause, whether it was the sockets, switches, wiring, etc.). I was also considering installing a new CO/smoke alarm myself, but then figured it was worth it to just have a professional do everything at once. Scott worked with me by showing up bright and early in the morning and managed to get everything done in 1.5 hrs so I still made it to work only a little later than usual. My bathroom fan/heater turned out to be broken, but Scott check to make sure the power going to the unit was working and then even showed me how I could order a replacement part and install it myself. So I saved a little money AND got to feel all handy! Great guy!!

They do excellent work at a reasonable price and at a good pace. They are also kind and thoughtful. They don't push anything, but are willing to give quotes for potential work. We highly recommend East West Electric. They installed a plug for an external washer dryer unit, two light fixtures, and changed three breakers for us. Call them if you need electrical work done well.

Penna electric is the best!

I just moved into my new townhouse and my wife hates chandeliers (she's from Japan where earthquakes happen all the time and they don't have anything hanging from the ceiling). I decided I might as well upgrade all my lights to recessed lighting and install smart dimmers to control my lights using Google Home and Amazon Echo. I went on yelp and saw the great reviews for Penna Electric and decided to give them a call for a quote.

Todd came out to do an estimate and was very thorough at explaining every detail of the install and what I can expect. He even recommended a brand that he likes and let me tell you, they light up my house like the sun is out even during the evenings! Of course they're dimmable so that's a plus.

His team arrived on time and were very careful during the install. They asked for our input before doing anything permanent and were very tidy the whole time. They worked hard all day and the install time took less than I thought (just 1 1/2 days! ) including my vaulted ceilings in the living room!

Excellent job J Powers Electric!  Very happy with the work done and for the impressive effort at a reasonable price.  Smart diagnostic team found the needle in the haystack (the damage that caused the interruption) and had it complete before I could finish my Zoom call!  Masks and social distancing during COVID no problem for this crew.  I would definitely use again and recommend.

Called Powell electric and they just were not helping me at all!! Called b and k, literally an hour later our power to our business was back on! They saved the day! Thanks a lot you guys!!

After reaching the limit of my capabilities (and shocking myself a few times in the process), I reached out to Kings Electric last-minute to finish some installations and to fix some shoddy work at my in-laws place during a remodel. Celso was quick to respond and came out the same day! His pricing was reasonable and he got the job done quickly. I would recommend him and I would call him again.

Our newly installed LED ceiling light started making some noise and sometimes will turn off by itself. We requested the lighting company to send a new one and they did. But somehow we have trouble to install successfully. We called Got Light Electric because they have excellent review in Yelp. The owner gave me an estimate on the phone after he patiently heard my lighting problem and had scheduled a time for the repair. Unexpectedly, Alex came earlier than the scheduled time and he immediately worked on our light. He put a plastic cover on our hardwood floor to protect our floor before he started to work.  He not only reinstalled our light in a very short time he also repaired our broken switch as we mentioned to him.  Our light came back without any noise. We highly recommend this company if you have any electrical  lighting problem. The electrician's work is professional and efficient and the price is friendly.

My husband and I have been dealing with a flickering lights issue in our condo for a while.  Yesterday it finally got to the point that something had to be done--I was starting to fear for our safety.

I found Belco on Yelp and gave them a call because they offered the free estimate.  Yuri came the next day and immediately diagnosed the problem.  

When he told me what it was I was like, So what kind of time frame are we looking at here?  And he was like, Well, I've gotta get the part and make a custom fit for you, so...about 3 hours?

Three hours!?!?  I thought he was going to say three days!!  I was beyond pleased with how quickly he took care of the problem.  He also gave us a discount on the service and a free breaker.  Most importantly, the lights are working perfectly!  Thanks Yuri!!!!!

Give them a call--you won't be sorry.  Unless you don't have an electrical problem--then you might be sorry.  But otherwise...  ;-)

I gave Rocco Construction a call when I was having issues with power at my house, using appliances or starting the AC would cause my lights to dim. I was advised to give the utility company a call first to ensure that it wasn't an issue from the power pole, which turned out to be the case. I really appreciated the honest advice, and would be my first call if I had any electrical issues in the future.

Heny is reliable and honest. He doesn't just fix electrical problem but also guarantees his work. I have had other electricians (no names) and they misdiagnosed the issue. I had a dish washer malfunction issue but turned out that the machine just needs a hard reset. The other company that misdiagnosed the problem even charged me and recommended to either replace my dishwasher or replace the mother board. GUESS WHAT? None of those are necessary. So by going with Heny or HDJ, I saved $400 - $500 in replacement fees.

Can't wait to have HDJ work on my lighting fixtures and upgrading my home.

I just found a great electrician! Manny was very knowledgeable, quoted a fair price over the phone, and that's what was charged when the work was performed. Came out to troubleshoot the inside wiring outlets not working, and found and fixed the problem quickly. Recommended! Will use again.
