Best Wiring Installation in Austin TX
Two months wasted. I assume this company does good work because I had to make an appointment a whole month out. Which made it even more frustrating when my appointment got cancelled. I've called back several times, to only get the run around and to never have my appointment rescheduled. Very dissapointed.

Showed up for quote, provided good estimate and completed the job - all in one visit. Clean install of new fixture - no fuss - all in all great experience. This is our second time working with Texas Electrical and both times we were very happy with their work. If I have to be hyper critical, wish they had wore shoe covers inside the home during the install

Called Grayzer Electric when our water pump was throwing a breaker. (We had a well guy come out previously that determined there was some short in the electric line between the well itself and the house breaker that would require extensive excavation since is currently is many feet under concrete decking). The owner came out himself the next day from Grayzer and not only did he figure out a very cheap and easy alternative to the excavation but completed the job in record time and we haven't had any problems since his visit over a month ago. He was very articulate and demonstrated a vast knowledge of our system in general which is very complicated since we run both well and rain water pumps. Very impressive and I would recommend him again in a heartbeat!!! Great job!

This company is awesome! They came in, didn't screw around, figured out the issue, didn't waste my time nor my money and fix the problem within a half an hour.
These guys are Very friendly and in today's climate of crappy service companies, why go anywhere else.
SHOP LOCAL, SHOP FRIENDLY.

Thomas was fast to respond to my request for a quote, available to work right away, willing to do outdoor work despite freezing temperatures, and performed the work quickly for a fair price. He was even super nice about my puppy jumping all over him. Next time I need an electrician, I'll definitely call him again.

These guys are pros and my go-to for any electrical needs. They've done several jobs for me over the years and I've been happy with their work and prices every time. 100% recommended.

We couldn't be more grateful for the work Dustin and his crew did. They said they would arrive at 7:30 and the doorbell rang exactly on time. They not only did the work they planned to do, but fixed terrible wiring from a previous electrician. They were so professional and knew what they were doing!

Quick and fast. Got the job done correctly, and paying was easy.

We had to remove some outdoor lighting fixtures when our cedar fence was replaced. I wanted an improved installation over what was there before and emphasized the esthetics. Scott communicates well and listened to my ideas and preferences. He finished the job in one day and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely call him again for electrical work. Give him a try!

Todd and Keane just finished a pretty substantial job here at our home: replacing almost all of our original light switches and receptacles with updated Decora-style switches and receptacles. It was, without a doubt, the most pleasant experience I have had with a contractor in as long as I can remember. Todd replied to my original contact email within hours, with not just a quote but also a great deal of information and food for thought as to what we might want to do with this particular project. We set up a time for them to come over - at 5:45 pm on a Friday night, with no extra charge for evening work! They worked till almost 9 pm and came back the next day (yes, a Saturday) at 1:15 and stayed till almost 6 to finish the job. There was no weekend up-charge, nor any up-charge for materials.
Todd and Keane are a father-son team who work really well together. Todd is a certified Master Electrician and it shows: everything he did was first-rate and extremely professional. Keane is moving through the ranks of electrical apprenticeship and is destined to be a true pro as well - it's clear that he loves what he does and it shows in his work. Both Todd and Keane are the most pleasant people I've interacted with in a home remodel scenario in a very long time, and while I tried to stay out of the way as much as possible, sometimes I just tagged along to learn a bit more about how our house was wired (or mis-wired, in some cases). Todd was never put out by explaining what he was doing at any given time, and when an electrical mystery arose with a dead GFI outlet, he methodically worked through the issue until it was resolved, putting us all at ease that the house is (finally) wired correctly.
I really can't say enough good things about Tomei Electric. Their work is outstanding, and their rates are completely reasonable and fair. Their personalities make the work they're doing in your house more like that of friends than contractors, and that's a great feeling. If you have any doubt as to whether there are still honest, upstanding professionals in the electrical trade, Todd and Keane will put those doubts to rest. I have deleted all my other electrician contacts and will only use Tomei Electric from here on out.

I've used this family company twice now. They are reliable, professional, friendly, and very reasonably priced. What amazes me most, though, is a human being answered the phone at 7 am (weekday) when I expected to leave voicemail, and I had someone at my house by noon the same day. They do emergency work on weekends.

Alejandro was able to diagnose my issue in a few minutes by phone, which saved an expensive service visit. We really appreciate the help, and will go back to Raptor when we have issues in the future.

Twin Oaks was great. I needed to an an outlet to change an elec car. TO had me take a pic of the breaker box, answer a few questions via email and responded with firm price. Easy, fast, pleasant in person experience with Dylan on the installation. I would highly recommend.

Travis and his team were very responsive, personable, and able to resolve my electrical issue very quickly. I'd highly recommend their service!

Good experience with Shine On. Diagnosed an issue that was causing some problems with outlets. Fair price and showed up on time!

We sold our large backyard playset and needed it moved. Dan arrived on time, was friendly and professional and completed the disassembly in record time! Would definitely recommend him!

David is awesome - he came to fix our outlets in our kitchen with no power and he quickly diagnosed it as a bad GFCI outlet, which he quickly replaced. Because it was such a quick fix, he asked if he could do anything else to fill up the hour (super nice!).
He ended up fixing a smart switch I couldn't figure out, ordered me a new part for my outside electrical box, and gave me a tip on my pool pump wiring.
On top of that, he was on time, great with communications, and had very fair prices. Thanks!

First off let me say that their technicians are super professional and courteous. Probably the best interaction with service techs you'll ever have. No issues there.
The problem is they use a pricing sheet for their services regardless of how hard or easy the work is. And it rarely works to the customer's advantage. I had a couple of outside outlets that were out and a outside light that was out. I suspected a breaker issue. It was a gfci breaker and I know those can cost a little more than a basic breaker, but they take a split second to install. So I expected 2-300 for that repair. I had a Salt technician come out look at the outlets for a second, plug a tester in that showed no power to the outlets and then quote me 550ish for the repair. Didn't check power at the breaker box or anything. So it wasn't really a diagnosis of what was really going on since they didn't trace back where in the circuit the power was still working. It would've take another couple of seconds to do that, but I wasn't done.
So it could've been a bad breaker, a bad outlet in the circuit, bad wiring, etc. But they just priced it as the most expensive possible fix and would've charged me that much regardless of how hard or easy the fix truly was.
Since I wasn't ready to drop that much without knowing what was really wrong, I went out and bought an outlet tester and a voltage tester and checked the outlet, which of course didn't have power. But the breaker that I thought was the culprit was hot. I pulled off the outlet and the wires were hot, so I knew it was either a bad outlet or a miswired outlet.
It ended up being an incorrectly wired outlet that was affecting the rest of the circuit, so that's why the other outlets weren't working. It ended up taking me about 30 minutes of diagnostic time and 10 minutes to fix. No cost in materials. Not exactly what I would call an over $500 job like they were planning on charging me...
Again, the techs are super friendly and the service is professional. But the flat rate charging they do is a complete rip off and they definitely lost a customer. Which is unfortunate for them because I used them previously for a hot tub job that got them over $1,000 in business, and had planned on using them for other things in the future.
If you have money to burn and care mainly about customer service and a good quality job, then they're great. But if your like me and you live paycheck to paycheck and care about service, but also care about not being overcharged, then find another service provider.
