I'm writing this review 02/21/21.
Many of us are in terrible situations right now. Broken pipes, no water, no available appointments for plumbing and many other unfortunate things.
Lewis just repaired my water pipe. Our family was without water for many days. When water was on my water pipe showed a bad leak. I was frantically looking for a plumber. Lewis has taken my phone call at once.
I believe he was sent for my family's rescue by  an angel.
My family is so grateful for repairs done by him. I would give 10 stars for his plumbing service, care and help. He has not hesitated to take my job request
at difficult times when plumbing companies are overwhelmed by requests and telephone calls for help. God bless him for his big heart, knowledge of his job and willingness to help.

On March 16, 2002 I called for a kitchen drain to be cleaned out. They could come the next day.

When the guy got here and heard us tell the history of drain clean outs he was immediately saying the drain may not be able to be cleaned out. My husband told him that the last time they had to get a smaller snake to get around the bend in the drain. Apparently he didn't think my husband knew what he was talking about. As the guy would go outside to his truck (for equipment?) he would sigh heavily as he went to the door. I suppose the sighs were to tell me what a lost cause my drain was or how hard he was working. He tried a couple of times to get his too big equipment through the drain and then said I had a broken pipe.

$247 later he left without clearing the drain. The reason for the 2 stars is because he took some money off the bill.

I am happy to say that we did not have a broken pipe and my drain is now cleaned out since our plumber used the correct sized equipment. He actually tried a different size when the first snake would not go through. What a concept, when one thing doesn't work try another!

I am editing this review after I received a call from Kendal about my review of my service call. After explaining what happened during the service call and how the drain was successfully cleaned out by another plumber he said he wished I had called him, they would have sent another technician out to try again. He is refunding $150 of what I paid and asked that we give them another try in the future. I appreciated his call and of course the partial refund. I amended my 2 star rating to a 4 just on his customer service phone call.

I only used him once, but he came the day after I called. I had lost my remote, bought one at Home Depot, got home and realized the receiver in the fan housing had to be changed out. I had called several places who were very expensive or would come in a couple of weeks. Repalo was quick, reasonably priced and efficient. I definitely recommend them.

The moment the phone call was answered I could tell that 1st Home & Commercial Services was a professionally run business. They told me who to expect for my service technician and sent me a photo of him and I was able to track his route to my home with GPS! Chris came to my home in a timely fashion and diagnosed the problem and gave me a very reasonable quote. I agreed and he and his assistant were done within an hour. The technicians even wore booties to keep my floors dry from all this rain! What a relief it is to find a company that actually does what it is in business to do. Serve the customer and do a good job! Thanks!

Do your homework BEFORE they do any work.  The markup was 900% for some straightforward lighting that was done recently.  I believe the technician took advantage of the fact that I was on phone meetings while the deal was being set up.

If you want electrical work done go elsewhere!

I did not use this company for service. Scheduled appointment for following day then was called back stating they had an opening for day of. Great! About 4pm was texted stating cannot see me today after all. Whoever was texting had an attitude stating well you were originally scheduled for tomorrow. I shared I didn't appreciate the attitude and asked to cancel. They apologized, but I was still no longer wanting to do business with them.
