Best Outlet Installation in Austin TX
I just sent Chris and Eliot out the door, and--as usual--they made life better while they were in my home. From Sherry who answers the phone to Chris or whoever comes out in the call, these people are running their business the way I wish everyone would. They have never let me down once in all the years I've used them, in three different homes. It's so unusual to place a service call and start feeling less stressed the minute I dial the number, but that's what happens when I dial Malco. Every time.

I called Texas Electrical Services right before they closed. I had an emergency situation on my hands and explained that I needed someone out ASAP. As promised, someone showed up within one hour despite terrible weather conditions. They inspected and adjusted several things that needed to be addressed. In addition to that, they installed a light fixture that I needed installed. The level of service and professionalism they brought to the table is definitely worth their rate. I am definitely calling these guys the next time I need electrical services.

Well, I guess the 5-star review streak had to end sometime. Just got off the phone with Grayzer. The girl literally talked their company out of a job. Apparently, they don't want to come out and give estimates, so face-to-face is no longer a thing with them. The girl who answered the phone expected me to have all of this expertise about circuits and amperage and distance from the electrical boxes--which depends on BEST recommendations from THEM. I needed to talk to an expert, or I'd just do it myself. Duh, right? Looks like a growing company, so I wonder if you'll be reading more reviews like mine. Not a good experience.
Owner came on and posted damage control, but that just reinforces my negative experience. At least he admitted that face-to-face with the little residential guy is no longer a value they adhere to. The problem remains that I don't have the expertise to know exactly what I need to provide that information over the phone to the girl who answered the phone. I just know I want work done, and I have some money to pay for it.
Ask me about the $700 plumbing quote. I hit the learning curve, did the work myself for $30 and a trip to Home Depot. It's becoming a negative experience trying to get companies today to work for you.

James did some work for us in a condo we purchased that that was built in 1973. He updated some wiring, put in electrical switches, installed several GFI etc.
He also installed two chandeliers, one being high up in a two story hallway. He showed up on time, kept a clean work environment, and left the job site in perfect condition.
His price was also very reasonable. I have refereed him and will continue to do so.

Jonathan the owner did my electrical work this morning. He was early to the work assignment, did an excellent job on trenching, running low voltage wire and installing 4 spot lights for a HOA entrance sign. Worked quickly to complete the job. Excellent communication throughtout the process. He had the lowest bid among the 4 finalist. I am having him doing another job when he has the time. al

Scott was great! He was able to give me an estimate based on photos I sent him of the project area. He showed up on time and prepared with everything needed (and wearing a mask). I needed several outlets on an expanded patio and Scott took care of installing the outlets and conduit in no time at all and for a reasonable price. I won't hesitate to call Scott again for any future electrical needs.

Raymond was available the next day. Arrived when he said he would. Fixed our problem in a timely manner. Reasonably priced. I'll be using this company again and I recommend!

For anyone needing a master electrician, I absolutely recommend Todd S. of Tomei Electric (512 893 9715). He diagnosed and fixed the problem with my fluorescent fixture in under 15 minutes, explained what he had done, and answered a few questions for my future reference. Additionally, it's well worth noting he was right on time, and is hands down the politest electrician (or skilled contractor) I ever met.

I needed an electrician to run & bury wire, about 100' worth, plus add some outlets for pumps, lights & etc.
Yelp asked if I wanted to send the request for bids to multiple firms and I clicked yes.
The bid went to five electrical contractors.
The first to respond was L & R Electric, and they were available the next day, to assess the job and prep a bid.
Out of 5, 1 firm never responded, two more made appointments and came to assess & bid.
One guy was pure upsell, another was not highly experienced.
But L & R showed up on time, was wearing a mask, was courteous, professional. Over the next couple of days, Louis was VERY communicative, sent me a bid, and came in under the other firms large and small.
After awarding them the bid, two men came the next morning, got right after the job, and completed it the same day, cleaning up after themselves. Tino & Jerry were a great pair, friendly and very conscientious.
Tino looked at the electrical panel & determined it was maxed out, & actually over-burdened. We decided it needed to be upgraded. This is not uncommon for a 37 year old house, so we approved the upgrade.
All in all, it could not have gone any smoother, nor could everybody at L&R been any more pleasant to deal with than they were.
I recommend them without any reservations.

When I called for a estimate, I shared what was needed for what I was told from my previous electrical company that was no longer taking new business. The gave me a quote so I'd know what to expect. The price quotes was almost 3x the price and I was told good luck finding the price I was quoted before. Very rude.
*Update* Owner Luis kept repeatedly trying to call me. 3 calls back to back. After the bad experience just trying to get a quote, then to be harassed on the phone is unacceptable. You should never abuse customer information and call without my permission since I didn't sign a co Tracy to work with your company. Glad I didn't use his business. I had to block his number.
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!
Most Unprofessional first impression I've ever had.

Awesome stuff. Electrician came out and had to do some miscellaneous stuff like changing outlets and re-wiring light switches. Thanks!

Worked us in quickly and took us through the repairs that could be completed that day, and those that needed to be completed the next day. Extremely professional, safety-minded, and friendly. Completely happy to recommend to all our family.

Jon was awesome to work with. He showed up right on time when promised both for the estimate appointment and to actually perform work. He installed my light fixture flawlessly, including a trip back to the hardware store to make sure he had the exact outlet box that would fit it without needing to cause damage to my ceiling. Everything was dusted off and swept before he and his helper left, and he was happy to give me advice on another small issue too. I would heartily recommend Shine On Electric to anyone who needs an honest, fair-priced, perfectionist electrician - I'll definitely be calling again next time I need something!

You know the little string that dangles down from the ceiling fan to turn on/off the lights? Well we yanked too hard on it and pulled the chain cord out! There was no way to turn the lights on without it. It is NOT an easy fix for us non-handy folks. You have to mess with the electrical stuff and take apart the central part of the ceiling fan. No thanks. Handy Man Dan came over and fixed it right up!
Super friendly and reasonably priced!
We will definitely use Handy Man Dan for all future handy work! He's actually coming over tomorrow to fix a hole in our wall caused by a door knob. :)

Xiaoyu set me up with an outlet to charge my electric car. He was extremely responsive, very affordable and did a great job. I don't write many reviews but I feel compelled to recommend him highly.

They showed up as scheduled and repaired the problem at a reasonable cost. Electrician was professional.

Working with David was awesome. I recommend him for any electrical work that you need.

Awful and scammy, took advantage of my lack of knowledge with electrical issues. The problem was entirely due to Austin Energy's install of a smart meter, but before the diagnostic was even complete, I was told I would need a full replacement of everything for almost 8k. BEWARE. High pressure sales tactics. Had a feeling a manager at the office was directing the electricians to pump me for more money. Don't fall for their Men of God routine, they're not honest in the slightest.
