Best Water Heater Repair in Phoenix AZ

After receiving a quote from a Costco distributor for a water softer and water heater, we thought it was best to get a second opinion. The cost to install a new Eco Water system was $6500 plus $700 for water heater. The sales person is very good, before he leaves he has you thinking you can't live without it and should have it installed ASAP.  

Luckily, once the dust settled the Kool aid wore off you realize that's a lot of money!!!
Started searching for other companies and I found and decided on American Home Water & Air based solely from the reviews from Yelp.

When I called Tom Atkinson he was willing to give me a quote over the phone, but offer to have his partner Tom Knapp come out to speak with us since he was going out of town for the Memorial Day weekend.  Tom Knapp was able to come over that morning, spend time explaining the different systems the company had to offer, the price point of each and other type systems from other companies
We never mention Eco Water but when he touch on the brand we ask questions.  
Based on what we heard, the reviews from Yelp and the warranty on the product we decided to work with Tom and American Home Water and Air.

Angel Junior install our water heater today. I couldn't be more pleased.  
They arrive when they said they would, were friendly, courteous, and informative.  Clean up any mess that may have been there, hauled the old water softer unit and water heater away!

As soon as we have the garage floors done we will have them back to install the water softer unit.

Highly recommended for AC work. Needed a new AC unit to replace a 20yr old one that came with the house. Shout-out to Jerry for doing the initial quote/inspection and following up after the install. Manny, Beto, and Danny did a great job removing the old unit. It took a bit of time getting the old heat pump out of the attic, but they were able to take it down piece by piece. The new AC has been working great with no issues.

We were planning on replacing our heat pump this year but a mid-summer air conditioning failure moved it up on our priority list.

As snowbirds we had anticipated waiting until we were in AZ for the winter but Tyler and Michael were so easy to deal with that we did most of the up-front work via e-mail and phone.  Tyler was very patient with my evolving requirements and never ending questions. The day came a week ago and the crew arrived on time and ready to work. Despite a few unforeseen challenges, including having to relocate the new water heater as it wouldn't fit in the original space,  the job was done professionally, on time, and on budget. We even had them replace our toilets with great new Toto units!

I would highly recommend than to anyone needing repair or replacement of plumbing or HVAC. Their work is great and their prices are reasonable.

This is long over due since he fixed our AC three weeks ago! We got a quote from Yelp for help when it was slowly getting warm and he came and fixed it that day. Also he was fair priced and on top of that he only fixed what was necessary and didn't pressure us to buy a new AC. He gave his opinion and said we should save for a new AC since it will last maybe another year. I appreciate the honesty and straightforwardness.

What I thought was a problem in my shower turned out to be nothing but they were very polite and put my fears at ease. I can definitely recommend them due to their honesty and efficiency.

Paul was the technician that serviced our A/C for routine maintenance. He was prompt and I also received a courtesy phone call with ETA before he made his way over to our house which I GREATLY appreciated. He was very professional and explained the work he had completed and also the proposed preventative work he recommends we get done to ensure our unit lasts as long as possible before having to replace it. I recommend Northern Air Mechanical Services and will continue to use them for maintenance services and repairs if ever needed.

This company is by far the best I've dealt with regarding my A/C system. I wished I would of contacted them first which would of saved me a lot of money. I had another company redo my duct work because of poor air flow out my vents. After the other company completed the work I still had poor air flow. I paid the other company 3k to do it and they never came back to re-evaluate the system. Well during the summer my A/C unit stopped working. I called Day and Night and they came out right away. They said my unit over heated and shut itself off. The reason why it over heated is because my duct work and return line was under sized for my A/C which was supposed to be fixed by the other company I paid. Peter from Day and Night came out and evaluated every aspect of my system. He took good notes and told me what needed to be done. It sucks that I had to pay another 3k to get it done but they did it right like it was supposed to be. The two technicians that came out, Kevin and Johnny did an amazing job!! They were very polite, detailed oriented, cleaned up any mess/dust that was made, very knowledgeable and experienced with the work they were doing. I am so happy with this company and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they deserve it. I highly recommend this company. The difference is truly Day and Night with this company!!!

We found mold under some crumbling paint while prepping to paint a bedroom. Wanted to have someone come out and fix as we know how dangerous mold can be. Kyle came out, was extremely informative and alleviated our worries in terms of what needed to be done. Did not try to oversell or do unnecessary work. I would definitely use this company in the future and recommend to others.

Derek was on it! My A/C went out in the middle of night,  and he was the 1st one to respond and able to get here the fastest! Total life saver! Definitely recommend this company if you need any service!

I can't begin to say how grateful I am to have Hansen Family Plumbing as our go to plumbing service!    We dont have many issues but when we need something installed, fixed or repaired, Erik and his team have ALWAYS been OUTSTANDING!   Today we had the pleasure to meet Zack!    Zack and his working partner went above and beyond.   I wasn't home but he communicated very well with me.   I trust not only Zack, but any of Erik's team members to be in my home when i cant be there.  
When it comes to supporting the local businesses, this is one service i am 100% proud to say i use when needed.

Wow! Michael was on-time, so knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. I will definitely hire him again in the future for our business.

First, I called Parker & Sons because my solar water heater was leaking badly and I needed a replacement heating element for it.  It is a Solahart and my previous repairs have been done by a man who has to travel about an hour to get to my house.  He has to schedule a visit a week in advance.  Since I had to turn the water off, I needed repairs as soon as convenient.  On the phone, I asked the Parker representative if they worked on Solar Heaters--answer was yes.  Do you work on Solaharts--answer yes.  Do you have a heating element for my unit--answer yes.  Will the repairman have the proper heating element on his truck--answer yes.  When the repairman came, he looked at the unit and said we don't have parts for Solahart, we have never had parts for them, and we don't know where to get them--and even though I told him I was told they did have them.  He said, they know we can't work on them. He then wanted to put a complete new solar unit of theirs.  Since I was not going to be in this house more than a couple of years and a credit on my state taxes did nothing for me, I had to pay Parker $1200 to disconnect my solar unit and install a regular water heater.  

Other people I have talked with who have had experience with Parker expressed similar opinions.  Unnecessary repairs, excessive charges, and generally an unsatisfactory result.  They would never call them again.  They tout an Ethics award from the BBB presented 8 years ago.  They would never get such an award today and as I understand it, it was given when a different management was operating the company.

Jacob recently visited our home for an inspection of the A/C unit. The service he provided was great and he provided us with a detailed explanation of our unit and what services would best be fitted for our home and unit. He was right on time as we requested and was very quick to get to work and diagnose any issues. I would recommend precision to anyone.

I was having a tough time finding someone to fix my Midea Air-handler, as it is not a common brand of A/C.  When I called 1800Plumber+Air, Ben answered the phone and listened to exactly what the issue was- he took down the model of my unit and actually talked through the repairs with his tech before sending him out.  The other companies I called (Goettl and George Brazil)just have an answering service and they do not relay any important info to their techs, thus having them show up only to say they could not fix it or find parts.  
Ben listened to my issues and the awful experiences i had at the other places and said he would take care of it for me and that the tech he was sending, Travis - was the best.  Travis showed up and quickly fixed my A/C (needed a new control board) and only charged me half of what the others said a new board would cost if they could find one to fit my unit.  I will never call anyone else again but these guys for plumbing and A/C!!!

I have had Canyon State for six years now. They really do a good job keeping our units in top preforming condition.

This company is complete shit!  Waited a MONTH for someone to inspect my AC for their bullshit watchdog protection and they cancel, now they want me to wait another 12 days for someone?? SUMMERS almost over!!! If your relying on these idiots for any emergency services you'll be waiting months for help!
