Best Electric Water Heater Repair in Phoenix AZ

My outside motor on my ac went out last year at the beginning of summer. They came out promptly and replaced it. I even spurge and got the bigger and better fit cause it would last me longer. *caugh* Apparently I had a slightly smaller motor, which caused my ac to stop working due to it being over worked. This year my ac went out with what seemed to be the same issue.  Call them,  but they were too busy.  Arr... Fine.   Called boldt havac (#2 on my Yelp list).. was advised that the new motor that was replaced last year had the bearing damaged. Um.. you sure it's not a loose wire, I just replaced the same motor last year with American home, sadly he was sure. My fan blade is off balance and caused the motor damage. May need to replace that too (quote still out on that) It cost me $150 less for the replacement of the motor this year during prime summertime. Ps from start to finish boldt was slightly quicker on the repair, and cheaper. Ac is now working. Too hot for a broken ac. Glad I was impatient.

Today I had my second encounter with Arizona's Dukes of Air.   The first time, I found them to be extremely fast, friendly, and competent - and also concerned that they were delivering the right service for me. Dustin fixed my system without pushing me to replace it.
This time, after a quick call, the service was scheduled. The technician, Tom, called me to let me know he was on his way with a 15-minute ETA.  He arrived exactly on time.
We had a pretty good idea, going in, what the issue was. It took Tom about 10 minutes to set up and confirm the trouble with diagnostic tools.
Tom presented my options, complete with the pros and cons and pricing. Within 40 minutes and minimal out of pocket expense, my house was cooling down.  Again, they provided the service that was best for me.
I have had dealings with other air-conditioning service providers, but none of them compare to Arizona's Dukes of Air. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I've dealt with lots of decent AC repair companies in the past.  This one beats anyone else by a long shot. Took the time to check everything and not just the issue.  If you need an AC tech, call this place cuz you're done looking.  Amazing value.

I called based on all the good reviews. The receptionist was super friendly, fast and gave excellent service. Our tenant called because her sink was clogged up and leaking. They were quick to get out there. I asked how much it would be. She said $149 or $209 for one sink to be unclogged, just depends on if they can get to the clean out. Very reasonable..plumber went out right away. Then he calls to let us know he can't do anything because the pipe in the wall is corroded and he needed access to the condo on the other side and that it might be anywhere from $500-1000 to fix. The neighbor wasn't home at the time, thank goodness. He left and we got a $149 bill which we paid. We called the HOA to see if they would cover the pipe in the wall since it was for both units. They sent out their plumber and he said the sink basket was broke and that was the problem and that he could fix it but would charge us as well. My husband, at this point, was upset, went and bought the $16 part and fixed it himself.
He called the owner to let him know what happened hoping they would refund something since their plumber did nothing and he said no...that was their service fee. I think they could have been more fair on this part...$149 is pretty high considering the plumber was there for about 10 mins and did not even diagnose the problem.

Sold our house, and the buyers inspection revealed a couple of issues we didn't know about. A/C drip pan in the attic rusty, and drain line possibly plugged.
Since I had such a good experience with this company a couple of years ago, gave them a call.
Efficiently scheduled appointment. Technician showed up on time. Thoroughly professional gent fixed the problems for the price I was originally quoted. I highly recommend this Company. Their standards and behavior have been exceptional!

I've known the folks at Hobaica for a few years through my business, so when we needed a new roof-top HVAC unit, we called them. They did an excellent job and we're very happy with the results. They checked the unit after a month to make sure it was working perfectly, and they're always available for questions or concerns. I'd recommend them for any heat, AC or plumbing needs.

Great experience. They were able to come out within a day of my phone call, right on time, and the problem was fixed on the spot for a very reasonable price. $140 to change out both leaky shower valves in the bathroom. Sure, I could have done it myself, but I know it would have taken me forever to get around to it and it would have been a big pain for me. So I was happy to pay someone else who could do it in 30 minutes while I baked a birthday cake for my kid.

I can't say enough about the customer service from King Plumbing & AC.  Just as luck would have it the AC in my home stopped cooling on a weekend in July, it was just running constantly.  I posted a message on Yelp that following Monday morning. King Plumbing was THE ONLY company who could come out that morning.  Luis and James arrived right on time. Both were very polite, professional and honest. They noticed the unit was low on coolant, recharged it and cool air had returned.  Next step was to reach out to Old Republic, the home warranty company, to get the AC repaired or replaced.  They sent out some shotty company who charged me 75.00 just to tell me nothing was wrong, didn't even check anything except to tell me the unit had plenty of coolant. No duh  since King had just been out a day prior.  This company then closed out the service ticket with no problem found. I called Old Republic back and stated there was a reason why the unit was so low on coolant and insisted either they repair or replace the unit.  Since King Plumbing & AC is also a contractor for Old Republic, I demanded that they open a new ticket to King.  Luis and James came out again, went up in the attic and found multiple leaks in the coil. Luis worked with the manufacturer to locate a replacement part which was so nice of him. A part was found and the insurance company approved the repair with no cost to me.  Luis and James came back out once the part arrived, replaced it and now the AC works great.  I even signed up for the maintenance plan offered by King so now twice a year the unit can be inspected so no more summer without AC.  There are so many AC companies in Maricopa County but if you are looking for a company with honesty, integrity, that goes above and beyond, by all means, look no further than King Plumbing & AC. We found mold under some crumbling paint while prepping to paint a bedroom. Wanted to have someone come out and fix as we know how dangerous mold can be. Kyle came out, was extremely informative and alleviated our worries in terms of what needed to be done. Did not try to oversell or do unnecessary work. I would definitely use this company in the future and recommend to others.

They did a great job for me. He was so nice and walked me through everything. He even took video to show me what was happening in my attic.

I can't begin to say how grateful I am to have Hansen Family Plumbing as our go to plumbing service!    We dont have many issues but when we need something installed, fixed or repaired, Erik and his team have ALWAYS been OUTSTANDING!   Today we had the pleasure to meet Zack!    Zack and his working partner went above and beyond.   I wasn't home but he communicated very well with me.   I trust not only Zack, but any of Erik's team members to be in my home when i cant be there.  
When it comes to supporting the local businesses, this is one service i am 100% proud to say i use when needed.

I was having a tough time finding someone to fix my Midea Air-handler, as it is not a common brand of A/C.  When I called 1800Plumber+Air, Ben answered the phone and listened to exactly what the issue was- he took down the model of my unit and actually talked through the repairs with his tech before sending him out.  The other companies I called (Goettl and George Brazil)just have an answering service and they do not relay any important info to their techs, thus having them show up only to say they could not fix it or find parts.  
Ben listened to my issues and the awful experiences i had at the other places and said he would take care of it for me and that the tech he was sending, Travis - was the best.  Travis showed up and quickly fixed my A/C (needed a new control board) and only charged me half of what the others said a new board would cost if they could find one to fit my unit.  I will never call anyone else again but these guys for plumbing and A/C!!!

Rip-off report:
I was desperate in 105 heat and was charged $269 for a $15 capacitor ($344 total) with service call. He stayed to check the system for about a half hour.
I ran a electrical business for 30+ years a never charged anyone that much for an hours work. DO NOT USE THEM.

My AC broke in the middle of summer and it was miserable, called them and they were so quick to help me.. definitely gonna save their number in case this heat kills my AC again!! Thanks guys

We had a toilet that went bad, leaking from the tank, and hissing.  It was old and needed to be replaced, but we had a problem.  One of the household works from home for a call center, and we couldn't have them come out during the week.  Goettl had no problem in scheduling a Saturday appointment, the guys they sent out, Kevin and Caden came out.  They were both friendly, professional, and efficient.  They got the toilet fixed, and we no longer have a problem.  I recommend Goettl plumbing, and Kevin and Caden most highly.

We went to Home Depot to buy a water heater. No one in the store could answer the most basic questions about water heaters. The clerk filled out a form with our two tentative choices and referred us to their  installation  people, who happened to be Parker and Sons. The scheduler called, we had hoped to ask a question about which to buy for installation but she told us she was just a scheduler. On the appointed day we waited a good two hours past the window start time. Reschedule or wait longer. We had already wasted time so we chose to wait. Two or three hours later they called and said no oNe was coming and they could just do it on the phone. We expected to have it looked at for a proper recommendation since that is what was scheduled. He explained that if we bought  it from Home Depot ourselves we would have lots of problems with the warranty. Also, he said it will  cost us removal fees (Home Depot advertises free removal) AND it will cost us an extra  $350 having them buy it (we pick it up, deliver it, and your warranty runs through us). He emphasized SIMPLE INSTALLATION would cost $595, we assume they would never claim anything was simple. Just to be clear the approximate amount he quoted was $1750, ($700 of that was the cost of the water heater!) That adds up to YOU WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS!

I had purchased an air conditioner from Precision Air and Plumbing about 2 years ago, with the idea that I was making a well-informed decision from a trusty salesman from a reputable company. I was even upsold to a better unit that was more efficient and more reliable.
So, fast forward 2 years and my AC was no longer cooling my home but still blowing slightly cold air. I called Precision on a Saturday and scheduled a non-emergency appointment for Tues. morning. On Sunday, the following day, my AC stopped working altogether. I contacted Precision again and made an appt. for first thing Monday morning, which unfortunately was the soonest they could come out, even for an emergency call. The following morning, I received a call 15 mins after the time the technician was supposed to arrive with the news that the technician had fallen ill and would not be able to make it. I proceeded to ask if my Tuesday appt. was still somehow scheduled only to be told I wasn't on the schedule at all. I was told that now Wed AFTERNOON would be the soonest anyone could come out. When I asked why so late, I was told that customers who had PURCHASED service agreements through Precision would be placed as priorities and unfortunately I would have to wait, even without a working AC.
In the meantime, I hired a couple of other companies to come out and diagnose the issue. Both companies identified the issue as a leaking condenser coil and, coincidentally, both advised me to check with Precision on covering the work since that type of issue was far too premature for a unit that new and that their companies would honor the repair in the same situation.
Well, I called Precision in hopes of them working with me as a sign of good faith but was quickly shot down, being told that if we did that for you, we'd have to do it for everyone. The real kicker was that they asked me if I still wanted to keep my appt. for Wed. WITH a $59.95 diagnostic fee! Steer clear of Precision if you don't want to get swindled and go with someone like Mechanical Brothers or Viking.
