Best Commercial Services in Durham NC
Very efficient, cost-effective, and wonderful service! Dylan was quick to respond to our initial question, took the time to explain things to us and did a great job replacing our water heater.

I've called on Legacy Plumbing on two separate occasions and I've been very pleased. They charge by the hour which made me a little nervous. However, after obtaining two other quotes to install a kitchen faucet, they were the most economical. They are knowledgeable, respectful, and economical. I honestly can't say enough kind things about them.

Best plumbing service in the area! Jeff and Richard did an excellent job fixing our Delta faucet. I have never been disappointed with services provided over the years.

Our heat randomly stopped working at one of our rental properties so we reached out to Piedmont Metro for help! They had someone out the same day to not only diagnose but also fix the issue super quick! Very affordable & reliable! We'll definitely be using them again in the future!

Would never use him if he were the last plumber in Durham!
Came to my home twice; was fine the first visit-----on the second he had the nerve to ask me for a HUG!!! He's extremely unprofessional

Tl;dr: Experienced, easy to schedule with, efficient, and clean. This company works hard to keep your house running at tip top shape.
We had polybutylene piping in our house and suffered from dealing with two leaks within the first year of living there. We even had to change out our flooring because there was probably a leak in the past that wasn't handled in an appropriate amount of time. We called Jordan plumbing because after dealing with the second leak, we were advised to change out the piping in our house so that we don't have to worry about spontaneous leaking.
We called Jordan plumbing and scheduled someone to come out ON THE SAME DAY. That was unheard of unless in an emergency situation. The workers came and looked around at our water heater and the piping from it and they also recommended changing out the pipes on top of changing out our water heater since it was rusted and it was about time to change anyway. They also wore booties to keep our house clean while they walked through it so I thought that was a great consideration towards us. Mr. Jordan came out later that afternoon to verify the report that was given to him and he gave us a quote for the work and materials. From what we understood of the pricing based on our other repairs, that was appropriate if not cheaper than what other companies were asking.
Due to the extensive work, they needed an entire day with a decent amount of crew so they scheduled us for Saturday of the same week (actually, about 4 days after our initial consult. We had plans throughout the day so we left them to it. Mr. Jordan himself oversaw the whole operation and was working with his team. He gave us appropriate check ins to make sure we knew what they were doing. They were done around 7pm and cleaned up after themselves. Mr. Jordan connected us with a sheet rock person to come and repair the drywall who offered us a competitive quote -- we ended up going with him.
If you're needing work done in the Durham area, Mr. Jordan and his team will take care of you with no surprises.

I had a weird leak that ended up being from my dryer vent tube. Bradly was awesome, helped me be confident in ensuring the issue wasn't related to any nearby plumbing, and helped me fix the issue. He was friendly, progressional, and my pup liked him :)

Had a leak that went through my kitchen floor into the basement. Aka the stuff of homeowner nightmares.
Pipetechs helped quickly schedule an appointment to find the leak. Anthony arrived in the stated window (a small victory in and of itself!), put covers on his boots to protect my floors and patiently listened while I shared the situation. Once he knew what I knew he got right to work and found the leak (busted seal on the dishwasher). If he had just done that this would be a solid 4 star review. I'm giving Pipetechs and Anthony specifically a 5 because he went above and beyond to explain what he was doing, mention some easy (read: cheap) things I could do to maintain my system and then, just for good measure, pulled out an obnoxious clog in my bathroom sink. How's that for great service! I will always go to this team for my plumbing needs from now on. Thank you for restoring my faith in home repair!

I requested quotes through Yelp to repair a leak and I got 2 responses. One company had a 2 stars and the other one one was Bull City with over 4 stars so I definitely opted by contacting the safest option. They were very prompt to set an appointment. They charge $45 for the diagnostics but As long as you proceed with the work then they will make that part of the fee.
He was able to diagnose the issue very quickly and he immediately went to get the parts he needed. It's not a large company so the owner is also the plumber, he was a really nice guy ( too bad I can't remember his name ). When he left to get the parts he even offered to bring back donuts if I wanted !! (. Too bad I was on a diet !! ). Anyhow he came back and repaired my tub fairly quickly to stop the leak. In addition to the leak I told him that the water was running really slow in the master bathroom's faucet and he just went ahead and fixed it for free. I am very satisfied with the service and will call them again for any future needs.

I contacted Sublime Handy Work and Seth E. indicated he would come to my home either 6/10 or 6/11. He didn't come and I have not heard from him since.

Cary Plumbing was recommended by neighbors and they didn't disappoint. In fact they even were able to squeeze us in a day early to address our leaky sink. Our plumber installed a new one easily and we're now ready for Thanksgiving! Thank you Cary Plumbing!

Pure-Line Plumbing was great with both their services and fair pricing. I had Dwayne install a stainless-steel residential hot water tank that has a lifetime tank warranty. He first came to the house and did a through assessment of my house's current plumbing situation and we discussed various options for the hot water tank replacement as well as a new pressure relief value and shut off valve. He was especially mindful of the high quality brass pipes that are in my house and the need to use brass to complete this new job. The Pure-Line office prepared and sent to me a detailed quote and gave me a generous discount for having registered on their website to receive a new customer discount. Dwayne and his co-worker spent a full day removing the old tank, installing the new tank and the pressure relief value and shut off valve. They did an excellent job. Very high quality work! If you value superior workmanship, then call Pure-Line Plumbing.

We contacted Sparrow and Sons because the toilet in our master bathroom was not flushing properly. They spent about 5 minutes at our house (literally). They walked into the bathroom and then out to our septic tank. They opened the cover to the tank, told my husband that it was full and said that there was nothing they could do for us since they don't do work on septic systems. That was all well and good. At least we found out what the problem was. But they charged us $225 for the visit for doing absolutely no work!!! And they falsified the invoice claiming that they had checked our sewer line. They had done nothing of the sort!! This was outright highway robbery. We did get them to drop the charge to $175. But it was still ridiculous to charge that much to do nothing except tell us that there was nothing that they could do. We will never use them again.

James and Archie do a superior job. I had several items that needed to be addressed all of which were not only acknowledged in advance but also I felt like they listened. You know when you talk to a technician and you get the impression that they are thinking yeah, yeah.yeah...you don't know anything? Well, I got none of that from them. Archie came early the next morning, and, with my prior description of what I thought needed to be done he not only had the equipment ready in advance but also had a second person with him so the work would be completed sooner. They were patient with all my questions, they explained everything very well and did not leave a mess behind like I have seen on other service calls. I can't say enough good things about the level of communication they provided both on the phone and onsite.

Well, a refund would be nice.
Blocked sewer line. Called Mr. Rooter who thankfully could make it out the same day.
Changed $50, non refundable fee (first red flag), technician came early, then the fun began.
What do you know? You need a new sewer line, imagine that, never seen one this bad before. Nearly $1500 quote to install a new sewer and flush line.
Tech couldn't find said line. Rather than call the city (which I did the next day and who promptly found it). He proceeded to snake out my toilet drain, making the problem worse and dicked around for several hours.
In the end, he charged me $360 for making the issue worse, promised to send me a quote the next day (he didn't) and then left us to urinate outside.
Called a local tech, who promptly diagnosed the issue and charged me $360 and, get this, actually fixed the problem! Wow.. amazing.
If you are thinking of using Mr. Rooter's services, I invite you to read their Indeed reviews. Apparently, they pay a commission to their techs, and we all know what that means when it comes to quotes.
Go with a local artisan, with real ties to your community, forget Mr. Rooter.
Never, ever again.

I called this morning due to AC problems not even an hour later Justin showed up , very professional, detailed all the things that were wrong , and gave us financial options. Because we are 1st time homeowners we didn't know what to expect and weren't prepared for the expense. We called another company who were personal friends of friends, that fixed it for almost nothing! We decided to wait another year (Lord willing) to get a new unit. Although we couldn't give JD Plumbing any business today, we will definitely look forward to them when the system needs replaced (as it is old but should make it through the summer), and will definitely recommend them to everyone else who needs a new cooling system.

I need an easy repair to a toilet. Called the number and asked simple questions... do you charge for consultation, what's the earliest availability. I was given so much attitude by the person on the phone I hung up.
