Little over due. I contacted Joseph for a garbage disposal that needed replacement. Many companies said they needed to send a guy out for an estimate. I had included the picture on my job request. Joseph gave me a quote that was fair over the messages and included the garage disposal and the labor. Many other companies wanted to charge more when they came to see the job or give me rates for labor and I would purchase the garage disposal. This day and age, something like a garage disposal does not require a in person quote. I really appreciated Joseph and he did a great job. Highly recommend.

This plumbing company was everything they should be: prompt, highly competent, professional and courteous. What more can you say?

I cannot say enough positive things about Mark and his team! I originally called them to snake our main line because it had backed up. Cesar came out and cleared it but then it backed up a week later and even though root issues don't typically come with a warranty, they came out again free of charge. After Vince used the camera to look at the problems underground, he recommended some permanent solutions but in the meantime suggested we hydro jet the main line. I called Beach Plumbing and Jetting to discuss other options and they basically convinced me over the phone that I don't need hydro jetting and that they can fix the problem by snaking but left me high and dry when they came out. Richard, the owner, even said he was going to call Prodigy to tell them about what's going on here (maybe to convince them to not work here?) I told Prodigy everything that happened, they were able to come out the next day and it's been nothing but great working with them. Don't waste your time or money going with another company. My experience with Prodigy and Beach Plumbing has been night and day. Mark is professional, thoughtful and cares about customer satisfaction. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the other company. There's a reason Prodigy is the highest/most rated plumbing service in Long Beach on Yelp!

I have used Biard and Crockett for years. Their plumbers are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Their dispatchers are considerate and respectful of your  time. If, on the off chance they need to reshape , THEY CALL ahead of time and don't just let you stand around waiting for a plumber or technician that cannot come. I've recently also started using Biard and Crockett for my heater and air conditioner. I've been very happy. They are reasonably priced, arrive within their appointment window, do a great job and are friendly and respectful. I will continue to use Biard and Crockett and would recommend them to anyone.

In 27 years I've not found a septic service that was reasonable, respectful and on time. These guys are the best! I recommend them hands-down. They are my go to septic service from now on.

Charged 10k to repipe gas's pipe didn't even bury it just strapped it to side of house is that even up to code? Did everything in 1 day and a few hours next day that's highway robbery thieves stay away !!!! Took advantage of gas leak and overcharged me

We needed a new water heater installed and got a quote over the phone and an appointment the very next day.  Petar was very professional and worked very efficiently.  The new water heater was installed, strapped in, and he even hauled away our old one.  The complete job didn't even take 2 hours even with our slow draining old tank!  Thank you for your efficient and prompt service!

Got a call from my wife saying that our sewer line is backed up went ahead called around yet the last sewer solutions gave me a call back within matter of minutes they came out to my property took a look at my issue fixed it within 30 to 60 minutes like they promised I have a broken sewer line found roots in my sewer line gave me a reasonable price to dig it up and replace it and even give me an extended warranty with a 10% first-time customer discount I will keep these people in my phone from now on I do recommend them to anybody looking for a good reasonable plumber thank you

David and Andrew fixed my toilet when my bathroom started flooding.  I had called around and got estimates from three other plumbers that wanted more than $1000 to replace it!  David arrived on scene and was like it's just a part and gave me a really good price.  I don't write too many reviews but it's hard to find such honest plumbers.  

I told my grandma about them because her old house is breaking all over the place.  They've taken good care of my little ol' sweet grandma.  They've been in the process of doing massive amounts of repairs like digging enormous trenches in her front yard.  They are my official family plumber :)

HIRE A LAWYER before you do business with Downey Plumbing. Just like Stephanie B noted here (3/1/23), as well as several others that were Force-fed this company by the insurance company... I would never call Downey Plumbing for a plumbing issue. However, HomeServe (insurance through So Cal Gas & California Water Company) uses them for claims. It was like dealing with the mob.... First of all they REFUSE to do any Claims work on weekends... in my case FOUR WEEKENDS IN A ROW... (And YES I have the documentation to prove it)  My hot water was not working for a MONTH... Then they tried to charge me over $1200 for a 1-foot x 4-foot piece of concrete that they had to fill -in, it's LITERALLY 4-SQUARE FEET of cement - SEE THE PICTURES... AND they made NO attempt to match the color)  as I tried to reason with them about the EXTREME BS charges - THEY SENT IT TO A COLLECTION AGENCY, and I will be hiring a lawyer... Who would have thought that HIRING A LAWYER WOULD BE CHEAPER THAN HIRING DOWNEY PLUMBING?  Secondly - their work is ALREADY RUSTING.... (See picture of rusted pipes they installed & the $1200 cement job)

***ALSO - They VIOLATED CAL STATE LAW by NOT providing a WRITTEN ESTIMATE, and told me Not to worry about it as the Insurance company is paying for it  & then try to STICK ME WITH A RIDICULOUS EXTORTION for OVERAGES that I never was given a written estimate for...  so then they sent it to COLLECTION AGENCY...

Fast, efficient and overall v good. Recommend them highly. Took care of my problem quickly and reasonable price.

Plumbers (Jesus) was dispatched a day earlier than originally scheduled (with our OK)!  It was a simple job but they did exactly what we asked for.  They were neat and cleaned up the area (new valve) on outdoor hose connection.
Very satisfied.  This is the 3rd time we have used First Option.

These guys are absolutely fantastic.  They took the time to explain everything very clearly, knocked out the work and provided a quote for another job at the same time.  Also, they were extremely professional and polite.  Not only will I use them for work with my ducting, anytime I have an issue going forward, I will be using BHI.

I don't usually write reviews, but I want to take the time to write one for Jose Pineda because he deserves it. We had a water pipe burst over the weekend, and after two days without water and multiple attempts to fix it ourselves unsuccessfully, we decided to call a plumber.

Jose Pineda showed up at our home less than an hour after I made the call and was polite, friendly, and professional the entire time. Thankfully, he's bilingual and didn't mind explaining everything to my grandmother in Spanish. He went over our options, weighed the pros and cons with us, and was patient and thorough when answering our questions before we made a decision.

Overall, Pineda's work was exceptional. I can tell he has lots of experience and is passionate about what he does due to the quality of work he did for us and the fact that he worked on our home till about 1:00 AM without taking a break. I am forever grateful for Pineda, his wisdom, and his talent, and I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs quality plumbing work done.

Brian is one of the best plumbers I've come across. He's very knowledgeable and cares about making the job right. I contacted several plumbers but he's the only one who explained things clearly.  I would highly recommend.

Wow! So impressed. Jose and team were friendly, straightforward, honest, and respectful.
My kitchen sink was clogged and he was able to clear it out and explain what next steps would be, if needed.
