My tubs were starting to back up when I used the washing machine, and I quickly realized that I had a problem with my sewer line. Instead of snaking the line and wasting his time/my money, he ran a camera first. Turns out my pipes were full of roots. He got to work right away and replaced about 4ft of my sewer line for a price that beat everyone else. Jose had excellent communication, kept me updated throughout the process, and was very open and honest. Thanks Jose!

Jose was very prompt with his reply to my request. VIP provided a very competitive quote for the work. He responded quickly to my questions and committed to getting the work done after we received the parts.

We called Jose when the parts arrived the next day and scheduled time to do the work (installing a toilet). Jose called to confirm that they were on their way to the house, arrived early, completed the installation quickly, cleaned up, and charged as expected.

We are pleased with the professionalism, cleanliness, and work. While I hope not to need then again any time soon, we will call them first!

I needed 4 new 8in faucets installed and Jose and Carlos did an excellent job!!! Due to Covid, they wore the proper protection gear on site. They removed the old faucets, replaced them with the new faucets, pop-up and new flex hose. They also replaced the shut off valves for all bathrooms. It took time to do it right, and I'm very happy with the results.

I would definitely hire these guys in the future and recommend them if you are looking for professional plumbing services. Thanks José and Carlos for your hard work!

Called on Jose to fix a clogged shower drain and he came out within a few hours to check it out. However, the diagnosis was not good as my pipes are old and a full section of the plumbing had to be replaced. They did what they said they woud - but I found out after the fact that they charged me DOUBLE what anyone else would have. Then, they gave me a fair price I thought for the actual repair needed after initial assessment but failed to show up to that second appt. as scheduled (not even a courtesy call). On top of all that, his guy in our bathroom left water on the floor and they left one of their tools behind. VERY shady outfit if you ask me. They seem to care ONLY about the $$ and not you the customer!!

I was planning on giving them 5 stars, but after asking around I realize I was overcharged and I did not get a formal 50 year warranty. They are professional, clean and they know what they're doing. They did not dig up the whole lawn to find the problem because they used a camera (Technology!). For the past 3 years, I have been calling plumbers every 3 months to clear our drains and snake until a huge sewer backup caused me to call VIP Plumbing and Drain Specialist. I needed to see for myself where the problem was. They came in with cameras and within 20 minutes they discovered there was big opening in the main sewer line in the front lawn. The cost of a $79 inspection turned to a $2K repair turned into a $14,000 repair because we had over 70 feet of pipe on the front lawn and 3 additional cracks. After a full day, they provided me with a video of the clean pipes but my initial request was to see a video of where damage was located. I really wanted to see sewage from those 3 cracks. Any case, no more sewage backups, but I talked to my friends and neighbors and they say I have been overcharged and the 50 year guarantee looks flimsy. I really want to give them 5 stars but I also want to keep it real.

I am not sure what happened to my review. But it was lost. My drains from the back yard were both cleared within about a 1/2 hour. The people that performed the task were friendly and very knowledgeable. The cost was very reasonable, and I was very happy with the cost and the outcome. I would definitely hire them again. In fact, I will probably have them come out every 6 months and get my drains cleaned out, before they get clogged again.

Jose and his colleagues are the best. So nice, kind, and very considerate. I never write reviews, but I felt such a need to do so because of the great service that was provided. My shower was flooding and everything was basically backed up. My family and I were seeing things that were coming from the upstairs toilet...disgusting...Thankfully, Jose and his colleagues were able to come right away and fix the problem. OMG!!! VIP PLUMBING is the BEST.
I had a main drain backed up and need help FAST.
Went on Yelp for help and after calling 5 plumbers and only getting answering services I finally called
VIP Plumbers and the owner Jose personally answered the phone. He came out right away and unclogged the drain and then ran a camera and found my entire main drain all the way to the city hookup was blocked with roots. Had to have the entire drain replaced. Jose quoted me a very fair price and immediately replaced the entire drain. When he was done you would never know he was there. I saw my kitchen sink begin to drain slowly. I've seen that before, and it without immediate attention, can wind up to be a mess! From past experience, I knew I needed Hydro-jetting and not simply a rooter. I called around to get some hydro-jetting prices and found VIP to be the lowest cost. Jose came out and found the stoppage, did the hydrojetting and cleaned everything up in a jiffy. He even wrote us a 5 year guarantee for the line (I likely will be calling him back in the future). Everything went smoothly with no fusses. and great prices.

We had this plumbing problem caused by historical residue of aged pipe, and had to flush it many times with over $1000 each time. Some companies provided us with alternative solution by cutting the concrete and replace the old pipes with over 10k costs. VIP plumbering was able to cut the cost by more than half with an alternatve solution, they did like a cardiac frame surgery, cleaned up all the old residual iron rust, expand the diameter of our old piple, and it appears to have eradicate our continously returned crogging problem.

We had a section of our main drain that was made out of cast iron that had root intrusion. As a result we had frequent blockages. We were then left with two choices. 1) Do periodic hydro jet service to keep the pathway clear or 2) replace the cast iron pipe with ABS.

We chose #2 as we wanted to solve the problem once and for all.

Then we had to settle on a provider. My wife went to work and contacted several potential service providers. Ultimately, we selected VIP because they specialized in drain type problems, were responsive and offered a fair price.

But the end result is that they out performed and truly exceeded our expectations. They finished the job in one day vs the two that was originally quoted. The quality of the work was very high and the guys on the job were great!

Bottom line...this is an excellent company. They know their business and treat their customers with respect. Can't ask for more than that.

I just had such a great experience with Jose and his staff. They are very professional and trustworthy. I texted Jose at 6.30 morning for my kitchen sewer problem and to my surprise he got back to me within 10 minutes, gave me all of the detail of how he would fix it with a very reasonable price. My tenant calls me and the Mixit valves are completely off the wall, water is running like crazy, I'm in another state across country and it's late like 10pm pst. I call the HOA plumber....can't get a hold of anyone...then I call at least 6 other plumbers who list emergency services. Jose at VIP was the ONLY responsive plumber, who came at moments notice, shut the water off and even went above and beyond to solder a makeshift valve. Would highly recommend VIP; professional, reliable and responsive plumbers are few and far between but VIP makes you feel like a VIP. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Jose and his assistant Jimmy were the best. Jose came out and gave me a fair assessment of my clogged kitchen line situation and we scheduled the work for the following day. Unfortunately I was going back and forth with my association and wound up canceling and then rescheduling him at the last minute when my HOA plumber couldn't make it.

Jose was courteous, professional and flexible even through all the back and forth and really saved me by coming out at the last minute (before my party) and clearing my line. It was a big job and took longer than he even thought but he gave me a very fair price and guaranteed the work.

HOMEOWNERS! CONTRACTORS! BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH JOSE ROMERA AND VIP PLUMBING AND DRAINS! NOT A LICENSED CONTRACTOR!
Our company was deceived by the Yelp reviews for VIP Plumbing and Drain Specialist ,and agreed to sub contract when Jose Romero, Owner, asked us to do a complete whole house repipe for a customer of his.
It was only after our work was completed and accepted by the homeowner that we found out that Jose Romero, owner and operator of VIP Plumbing and Drains, was not a licensed plumber with the California State Contractors Board (CSLB), that he will not issue a work order or contract to his subs, and fails to pay his subcontractors.
After the job was completed and the customer was satisfied, Jose Romero issued a check to us in the amount of $4,900. The check was returned by our bank because of insufficient funds - a bounced check for work that we had completed for his customer.
When we contacted Jose Romero regarding the bounced check, he made excuses, and in subsequent phone calls, became abusive and used profanity with myself and our bookkeeper.
At first we were willing to wait, but each deadline for payment became a shouting match or texts and messages ignored. Jose Romero has not made any attempts to pay us, even a partial payment, and has not returned the funds to his customer so that the lien will be lifted from the property.
The customer paid Jose Romera in full when we finished the project. We filed a Mechanic's Lien on Jose Romera and the property that we repiped to try and put Jose Romero on notice that he needs to abide by the law and not leave his customer owing twice for one plumbing job - he needs to do the right thing and have integrity.
It has been over two months now, and we are reconciled to the fact that we will not receive any payment for this work.
We have reported Jose Romero and VIP Plumbing and Drains to the CSLB, since it is illegal to work outside of the licensing guidelines in California.
A valid CSLB Plumbing License (C36) protects customers since the company has to be bonded and have current Workers Compensation insurance.
JOSE ROMERO DOES NOT HAVE A CONTRACTORS LICENSE to even operate his business.
YES - he is operating ILLEGALLY.
HOMEOWNERS - HIRE HIM AT YOUR OWN RISK !! Your property could be liened for unpaid laborers/workers and/or any materials bought and delivered to the job site.
BEWARE - if Jose Romero or any of his crew members working on your job site get hurt or claim to be injured, they can sue you since he DOES NOT HAVE ANY WORKERS COMP insurance.
YELP - should post this review to let other people be aware of shady contractors like JOSE ROMERO.

If you would like any proof or verification, please contact me through YELP, and I will be happy to give you more info . The more people know about this unlicensed business, the less chance anyone else will be out thousands of dollars, have a lien on their property, or be sued in court for damages suffered by crew members on your job site.
It is very sad that there are a few unprofessional plumbing companies purporting to be insured and licensed, and not following the professional standards set by the CSLB.
Always verify a license before you hire any contractor.

And to Mr Jose Romero please save of what's left of your face and reputation and not try to defend yourselves from this review as we enough proof and evidence to make it look worse for you .

Just want to thank you guys for getting back to me real quick about my my issue. I simple gave them a call, made an appoint, and they were here in no time to fix my problem. Had a plastic pipe brake off the drain in the wall, they notified me that they were going to have to get into the wall to fix my issue. Had an AWESOME experience working with the owner Jose and his crew at VIP Plumbing and Drain Specialist. 10/10!!!!

For years and years our old post WW2 house has been having consistent plumbing issues where I would have to call my plumber on speed dial every 3-5 months for a clogged kitchen or bathroom sink, shower drain or toilet.

Recently both my bathroom sinks were clogged and leaking at the same time and my regular plumber was unavailable. Fortunately, I found VIP Plumbing on Yelp and spoke to Jose about the sinks and he was at my property in just a couple of hours same day.

He assessed the situation and gave me 2 options: a band-aid quick fix to unclog the sinks (like I usually do every few months) or actually fix the underlying problem, which was to replace the old, deteriorating and backed up main sewer line made from clay pipes that had years of root damage and blockage.

He will even show you the blockage and roots live with his cool colored cable camera. It was like watching a colonoscopy and just as gross!!!! But actually seeing the state of the pipes live made me understand better why we had been having such chronic plumbing issues and the urgency to fix it sooner than later and so I chose option #2.

Jose was always professional, very articulate at explaining plumbing jargon so I could understand and never made me feel pressured. His pricing was very fair and he even gave bundle discounts since he did work inside and outside the house. He was great at keeping me updated via text or phone call to explain the process along the way. As the job took a few days, I appreciated that he cleaned up and secured the area after each day. He also gave me a 10 year warranty for his work, which no other plumber has ever given me and I have worked with a lot of plumbers in the past.

It is very refreshing to work with a business with integrity who stands behind their work and I highly recommend VIP Plumbing and Drain Specialist for all your plumbing needs!

Called Jose from VIP plumbing this morning at 6:45 a.m. and he texted me back within 5 minutes. He asked me to give him a few details of what the problem was and agreed to come out and see me between 11:00 and 12:00 that afternoon. In addition, he gave me a price in advance, before coming out to clean out a main sewer line. Jose and his coworker showed up on time. They took one look at the drain and knew exactly what the problem was. Within 20 minutes Jose corrected the problem. Jose and Carlos just left . The service and professionalism of this crew is outstanding. I had a clogged kitchen sink , they cleared the clog in 10 minutes. Jose also informed of the reason for the frequent clogging of this particular sink. I highly recommend this company. I will be using them in the near future to Hydo- jet my kitchen drains .

Jose returned and Hydro -jetted my kitchen drain as it had continued to be clogged intermittently after the initial snaking thru the under sink piping . The Hydro jetting was done thru the pipe/ drain on my roof. It took about 30 minutes and the cost was reasonable, the service of Jose and his assistant is great. We have had an awful experience working with Jose. He jackhammered our floor for a job and said they could replace the floorboards after the plumbing issue was fixed. They replaced the floorboards but it was done very poorly. Jose promised to fix it but then made every excuse in the book not to come back out. Weeks later he sent Carlos to redo the floor. It doesn't look any better the second time so we hid the problem area with a bed. We then asked him for a rewritten invoice for the work he completed since the original wasn't legible. He is nice on the phone, super apologetic and has promised it to us at least ten times but doesn't follow through. He's exhausting to work with and it's been a disappointing experience all around.

Please read my review in its entirety.

First of all, Jose and Carlos took care of us. They gave us options from best case scenario to worst case scenario. This way, there weren't any surprises and considering how old the house is, we expected the worst with no crazy surprise.

They were nice and answered a ton of questions as this was our first time dealing with re-piping. Come to find out, the galvanized piping from the home (garden hose bib down to the ground) was entirely rusted and had holes. It was very bad. Because of this, the dirt under the ground was very moist. This should be something each homeowner should know about because the water bill could be lowered and you won't get hit with a notice from the city (especially in California).

They were able to dig up the galvanized piping to the ground and showed the rusted piping. As they cut into the cement to locate the rest of the piping to the main source, the previous builder used PVC piping with galvanized piping! While the work was being done, they were able to work late into the evening on day one, and even made sure they provided a temporary solution to keep running water for the entire house overnight. They literally hooked us up lol. They were very thoughtful of us and especially my mother-in-law so they made sure we had running water. I am very thankful for that consideration.

The next day, they got all the new copper piping with only 3 couplings and a nice industrial grade bib. Much easier to work with than turning a round or butterfly style handle. This is a nice lever style bib. This is great for the mother-in-law to access water.

They were able to refill the dirt underground and pour in cement in our driveway and even gave us a choice to put back in bricks or cement. We opted for the cement.

After letting the cement cure for about 48 hours (even though we needed 24 hours), the garden hose produced a great flow of water without any leaks. We are happy with the result and I'm confident my upcoming water bill will look better!

To emphasize, before each step of the way, they checked in with us and gave us all the details to let us know of the progress. For those of you who don't like following up because it might seem like a bother, they literally gave us the details step by step of the entire process. Super cool of them. Jose even mentioned plenty of times don't feel like we bother him and ask him all the questions you have. So, don't hesitate and ask away!

Our kitchen sink backed up tonight at 8:15pm while washing dishes. It was quickly clear this was beyond my scope of expertise. I called my usual plumber and then a referral from a friend. Neither able to help. I then tried a company on YELP, but their prices were sky high. Next I called VIP Plumbing and Drain and Jose was very helpful. He quoted me a very reasonable fee and sent his partner Charlie to clear the blockage. Sent out a request via yelp. Have 7 companies contact me. This was the 2nd company however the one that was consistent.

I noticed that other people have made mention that this place is pricey. You get what you pay for. I had a total of 5 places provide a quote. Almost all provided a warranty on the work ranging from 90 days to 1 yr.

They gave me a 5 yr warranty on the work. Why this made such a difference is that this is the 2nd time this year I had to address a leaking outdoor he prior person that came out obviously did not do a good job. I recently had a 2nd contarctor look at it and tell me that due to the age of my pipelines (1971ish) he would pass on the work. It would be too complicated. The difference in cost was about $100. Not that big of a deal to me. The guarantee on the work is what sealed the deal.

Our communication was prompt. Next day I had the crew arrive within the 1/2 window they said they would. Not 3- 4 window most places give.

They were quick, efficent & clean. Less than half and hour the work was done.

We used VIP for a water heater replacement and was blown away by their professionalism. The entire process was incredible from estimate to inspection. They provided both email communication as well as texts to let us know who was coming and when they would arrive. It was literally a 15 minute window vs some companies that give you a 4hr window. We had an angle valve replaced for our toilet and were charged over $470 for a simple fix. We felt taken advantage of because the valve needed to be fixed and we were told the high price after the job was finished. The piece costs $8 for a replacement. This was a terrible experience with Jose from VIP Plumbing and Drain Specialist and we would not recommend. We checked the receipts and it's the same guy as who's responding.

Unfortunately, what started out as a positive experience turned incredibly ugly quickly. I spoke with Jose the owner who quoted me a cash price to complete the work for an emergency plumbing issue which included the use of a camera to diagnose the cause of the issue. We asked for a link to what the camera saw (as is standard) and he became defensive. Saying either we're going to get the work done or not. We asked for an invoice for the work that was already completed and paid for the night before as agreed via a phone conversation and he again began to back track and become defensive. He never gave a real answer as to why we couldn't have an invoice. The coronavirus pandemic is not an excuse as I've had various services completed that required an invoice and business owners happily provided both paper and emailed versions. Long story short, we attempted to pay him the remaining due in cash on the spot and he refused stating that he didn't appreciate me saying that it was odd that he wanted to argue with customers. BEWARE! This is not a reputable business.

VIP Plumbing is a prime example of a leading standard in the plumbing industry. I owned a donut shop and had a plumbing drain issue that needed to be remedy the same day. So I contacted many plumbing company and VIP Plumbing was the only one available.

Jose reached out to me within a matter of minutes while the other company either didn't respond or their schedule was full. Jose was able to fit me in his busy schedule and a few hours later Charlie showed up just as promised. Charlie offered many feasible Options that suited my budget. After Charlie diligently remedy my plumbing issue, he was able to give me a discount. Now that is awesome!

In my line of business Plumbing is very crucial when it comes to how the business flows. Without the relentless effort of Jose and Charlie, my donut shop can now remain in business.

Jose is very quick to respond/communicate, which is why there are 2 stars instead of 1. He quoted $279 for wax seal replacement and $875 if flange broken. To put it in perspective, you can get a brand new toilet purchased and installed including flange from Home Depot/Lowe's for less than $875 - my other plumber would love to do that for you and make a hefty profit still. You can also call my other local plumber to do the replacement for $135 weekend price and have him laugh at Jose's quote and defensiveness when he gets called out over text message over his ridiculous pricing.

I'll give him credit for communication he will tell you upfront his crazy prices. He's not shady about it, he tries to get you to agree to them right up front.

This guy is charging 2x the normal rates in the area. Good for him! Bad for customers. He told me if I think he's taking advantage to call other plumbers, so I did and I was right. Shop around to get the best price.

Edit: Jose immediately texted me telling me to remove the review. I told him not to text me or I'd consider it harassment and he still texted again. Nothing in this review is false. I forgot to add that he scheduled Friday but moved it to Saturday, limiting our options for other plumbers and pricing.

I originally got an estimate to have my drains flushed out and decided to try Yelp for another estimate just to see what would happen. Within 3 minutes I had a quote that was under what I was being told and we negotiated a very fair price. Jose was very communicative and prompt. Within 10 minutes I had an appointment set up for that day. He called to let me know when he was 30 minutes out as promised and he showed up on time. This is going to sound like some advertisement, but they were very polite and courteous and went out of their way to show great customer service. It feels like so many people nowadays treat you as if they're doing you a favor by showing up so this was a very refreshing change.
My drain was maintenanced and things were left clean all in a very quick manner. Without hesitation I recommend VIP Plumbing and Drain Specialists.

They did not find the cause of a leak and put misinformation on the report, landlord is slapping us with the bill, they never fixed this persistent problem that happens every few months. I called VIP plumbing again which this company comes and saves the day because I had called a different company and they were so rude and rushed me and on top of all that they didn't even want to come and see my problem they just try to tell me it's going to be 5000 HELL NO!! I said...im calling for a second opinion should of just called VIP plumbing in the first place lesson learned. So when I called Jose he answer and was more than happy to come and look at my problem. Can I just say this company is fast,honest and always there. I just moved into a new house and needed some plumbing tasks done. Reached out to Jose for an estimate and he responded very quickly. Hecame to my house for an estimate and an explanation of what work needed to be done. Jose, Carlos, and team installed a new drain pan for my washing machine. This involved cutting into drywall, and they also patched up the drywall when the work was done. I also needed to fix my shower cartridge, and Jose got this done for me as well.

I recently had a house flood from a collapsed sewer line. I contacted VIP plumbing because of so many excellent Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed. When I called VIP plumbing Jose and his crew came out immediately. They are very thorough and conscientious. They ran a camera, marked the location and started work the same day. By that afternoon the pipe was exposed 7 foot down and by the next day at noon the pipe was repaired and the job was completed.

His prices were very reasonable and his crew is very hard working and professional. My neighbor is using him for a plumbing job and I'm having him back to do another job that I need to have done.

I will be recommending him to anyone who needs a great plumber with very fair prices.

They came out the same day to help fix a broken spigot. We had tried to fix it but made it worse and couldn't turn the water on until it was fixed. It took two guys to twist off the old corroded probably 40 year old spigot, one twisting the spigot the other holding the pipe on the back of the spigot. Well worth the money.

Not many reviews yet but I took a chance! Jose is extremely prompt and courteous. He was able to come out in under 2 hours and didn't leave a huge open window of time. He texted when he was on his way with great communication. He made a shitty plumbing situation a little easier to handle...to pun intended hah. Plumbing is expensive all around so I can't say it was the cheapest or the best price, that I'm unsure of. But I didn't mind paying someone who was kind, polite and understanding of our situation.

I requested a quote on Yelp and VIP Plumbing was one of several that responded. They were also the one that was able to come soonest. I was very pleased on how responsive Jose was. He kept me posted on the exact time he was coming which I might say not only was on time, but also early. I suspected water leak and as soon as Jose came he knew right away I had a slab leak just by the sound. He tried to pinpoint where the leak was but he said there were probably multiple leaks. He said having multiple leaks would be costly to fix and would not guarantee I wouldn't have more leaks in the future. He said repiping would be his suggestion. Jose appears to be a very honest person. He said he can do the repipe and made me a quote. I told him I wanted to get some other quotes because its just the way that I am. He said no problem at all and he told me to contact him if I wanted his services. Later that Saturday I called him up and said there was some issue with my cold water. He came Sunday morning and fixed the problem (at no charge) when most people are taking the day off. I dont really put reviews on Yelp, but I think Jose deserves one. What stood out to me was how honest he was, which is hard to say for many people. He was very professional and easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone. FYI. It looks like he doesnt have a lot of reviews , but scroll down to the bottom of his Yelp page and you will see other reviews from satisfied customers.

Jose and Charlie from VIP are wonderful. They came out right away after I called them - they were here within an hour to check out my problem and diagnose it. They are very trustworthy, reliable, honest and friendly. Jose is a very compassionate person as well. I became very ill from hidden water damage in my home (undetected for several years) and Jose even used to be a nurse and he knew about some related medical issues I've been dealing with because of long term water damage in my home. They can get to the bottom of any plumbing issue and I will definitely be calling them again for future plumbing needs. Jose responded right away and I felt hopeful that he would be able to help us with some plumbing.

We made an appointment for the next day and he gave us a 2 hour window for which he was a no show. I texted him to find out what happened and he explained he had car trouble and apologized for not letting us know. My husband thought this was a bad sign but I said to give him a chance. I asked Jose to please text the next day so we can set up another appointment. This was last Thursday, and it's now late afternoon Monday, and we still haven't heard from him. Guess my husband was right about the bad sign.

My husband and I were upset to find our hot water heater completely failed us, the day after our vacations were over. Super corroded, leaking and 20 years old, the water heater was in desperate need of replacement. I sent out the SOS to a few businesses on yelp with good reviews early in the morning. I called Jose 2 years ago when I needed my drains in my back yard hydro-jetted. He did a great job, so when I needed a hot water heater I called Jose. My house wad built in 1969 and the pipes in the house were original. After having the new hot water heater for a month. I gound out the pipes were corroded and was putting debris in my hot water heater. Jose had a crew come out to the house and they re-piped my whole house in less than 6 hours. They did an amazing job and the only way I could tell was the access holes the cut. They did a great job of minimizing the access holes needed. He sent 2 guys the next day to repair the holes and re-orange-peel the walls and stucco outside. They did an amazing job of matching the textures. I am so pleased with the quality of their work and their professionalism. It is hard to believe how quickly they re-piped the he house. Repaired the walls inside and out and completed their clean up. I was here and witness their work. Amazing! I would highly recommend VIP Plumbing and Drain Specialists for all you plumbing needs. Small or large jobs. They were great and Jose was a pleasure to work with and I believe his pricing was very fair. He even through in some faucets, pressure regulator and a few other things that would have cost more if I would have needed repair later. I give him and his crew a 5 star rating.

I was a little skeptical about hiring a company with very few reviews but I am so glad I did. I live in Riverside and own some duplex's in Santa Ana. Jose came out the next day and repaired my first problem he was very honest and provided pictures and updates threw out the day. He then discovered other issues and contacted me right away supplying photos and explaining what he recommended. As a female taking care of this issue I was nervous but he was Not a pushy guy trying to get you for something you don't need and charging you over the top. I felt completely comfortable. I could not get out there on Saturday to see the job completed so he did not cover the holes and trenches he had dug up he waited for me to go on Sunday so that I can see the work he had done. My family found Jose and his company recently to help with our plumbing issue at home. His work is very professional and precise, being able to find the broken pipe underground. Just want to start off saying that Jose and his assistant are very knowledgeable in there craft, i shot them a pic on yelp with my problem, and they got back with me within 10 mins, with a fair price, came out to access the job and found out it was gonna take a lil more work than needed, jose walked me through the entire process of what he has to do to repair my shut off valve, these guys stayed on the job til it was completed, i have to say i was pretty impressed with the skill, workmanship, time, quality of work, and patience it took for this job, i will be using VIP for all my plumbing needs in the future,

We realized we had a plumbing issue on a Friday, called 1 company and they showed up with no tools and told us they were not sure where problem was. Called VIP to get a second opinion. Jose said he would be over within 60 minutes and came in 30. Jose was extremely polite and respectful asking permission to get on the roof. He then showed us what he saw and took the time to explain the issue to us and go over our options. He was able to start work the next day. The whole team is polite and responsive and very respectful of the property. Honest plumbers that do excellent work!

We had to replace a 100' gas line from our meter to our house so we gave Jose a call. He explained he needed $120 to do a gas line estimate and scheduled them to come over in the late afternoon. He wasn't able to make it in time, but let us know he was running late and still stopped by even though it was getting late.

Was able to give us a verbal estimate right away, which was on the higher end, but was able to work with us to get it to a reasonable cost. Ended up charging us $80 for the estimate that only lasted about 5 min, a bit high as none of the other plumbers charged us for an estimate and spent more time coming up with a plan, but he was upfront about it and was willing to apply fee to the job if we used them.

We ended up going with a different plumber who offered a trench less option, but would reach out to Jose again if needed help.

I called many places trying to get my toilet fixed and Jose was the only one who was able to come out in the evening. One place even said they would call me back and never did

Jose was quick to respond, give me a window, and was here within that window. Upon arrival Jose was very courteous, polite, and looked fully equipped to tackle any plumbing problem.

He successfully fixed my toilet quickly and efficiently. My girlfriend was in the living room and he pulled me outside to show me what the issue was as to not embarrass my girlfriend. That was a small gesture but one that speaks volumes on his professionalism.

I had a sewer backup in one of my rentals looked Plumbers in Yelp found Vip plumbing and drain specialist I talked to a gentlemen named Jose I discussed my problem I was having over the phone he said he would be out between 60 to 90 minutes and surely arrived on time he ran a snake on my sewer drain pulled back roots he the. Recommended running a camera and found were the problem was accruing he drugged up broken section of clay pipe and had me up and running but the end of the night why cant all plumbers be professional as he is lol thanks VIP plumbing I will let all my people know bout u guys very satisfied customer guaranteed

Used VIP plumbing and drain and glad that I did. Spoke with Jose who was very nice and personable. I had a clogged kitchen drain. He walked me through with what he was going to do for the job. At first he used the auger to clear my drain the. Then he hit something hard. He tried multiple times but it didn't work. He explained to me why it didnt work and showed me some small pebbles that were coming out. They were chunks of grease. It was like hitting a wall of grease with the auger. He had to switch to using the hydro jet. This did increased my cost but its a specialized tool for the job. See the pictures of what came out when the hydro jet was in use. I was totally amazed of what came out. Now my drain is clear. Im so happy I went with VIP Plumbing and drain. If you want an honest and outstanding person to do your job the then this is your guy.

Just wanted to write a quick review for these guys. They were the first to respond to my request and replaced the cartridge in the shower quickly so our guests could enjoy a hot shower during their visit.

They were very polite and kept us informed on their progress along the way. I was glad I could give them the business rather than dealing with a big company where you have to work around their schedule.

If I need plumbing help in the future I will use them again.

JOSE AND CARLOS ARE NOT ONLY OUT OF BUSINESS, BUT THEY ARE CON ARTISTS, DISHONEST, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND RACISTS PEOPLE. These two people have no respect for people's time and will say anything to make them sound good. When you try to tell them why you're not satisfied, they (JOSE) immediately yell and curse you out like you're nothing. I hired these con artists to install a septic tank. Part of the work was performing annual maintenance, which generally takes place in October. When I tried to call Jose, his phone would go straight to voicemail. He does not respond to calls or texts. I had to write a review on yelp for him to contact me back finally. He has so many excuses about having phone problems or car problems. After expressing my disappointment in their lack of professionalism, he had Carlos contact me to speak very professionally.

You have no idea how many chances I have given them because of Carlos's smooth talking and sincerity. Little did I know THEY ARE BOTH CON ARTISTS. They would schedule a time to come out but will have a bunch of excuses for why they don't show up and don't even give you a courtesy call--NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS TIME. Recently and for the last time, Carlos and Jose swore to come out to make things right ONLY IF I AGREED TO REMOVE MY YELP REVIEW. I'm sorry, but the last time I checked, we lived in America, where freedom of speech, press, and expression are allowed. I should not have to remove my honest review on them just for them to do their job.

JOSE AND CARLOS: I know you are reading this. I understand you are out of business and probably doing all this to scam people for their money. I WILL SEE YOU IN COURT VERY SOON!

ATTENTION EVERYONE ELSE: If you don't believe what I'm saying, I urge you to read the recent reviews from others about Jose and Carlos. I hired this plumbing company to work on a remodel project in Newport Beach. They we're hired to re-pipe and do rough pluming. I paid them a deposit 10K, after the money was paid, they worked a few days and would not return for days at a time. Their work had major defects, they cut load bearing walls, pluming did not have the correct flow/fall for correct drainage, underground plumbing was done completely wrong, and used cheap DIY parts. These guys have no knowledge of code requirements and ultimately the job failed inspection. I was forced to hire a new company to finish the job and repair their shotty plumbing work, and damage created by these guys. The company acknowledged the defects, they agreed to repay the full amount over time where they'd make weekly payments.... I was paid back $1,750 of the 10K and now they don't respond or make repayments as agreed. Beware of these guys!

My clean out was leaking sewage into the backyard and I needed emergency service. I called about 7 different plumbers, but Jose was one of the very few who was able to come on short notice to assess the damage.

He and his partner immediately found the damage stemming from a mainline break in front of the house due to root growth. They were able to schedule an appointment to come the very next day to replace the damaged pipe. It was during one of the randomly hot weeks and it was at least 90 degrees outside, but they worked tirelessly to dig and replace it.

They did a great job replacing the damaged pipe and even cleaning out the sewage that spewed into the side of my backyard. Jose offered a very fair price for labor, parts, and service.

Moreover, my kitchen faucet started leaking later that week. He came to inspect it and offered to replace it for free! I just bought a replacement and they replaced it within a few hours.

I really appreciated their work and time.

I'm very impressed with VIP Plumbing & Repair because the owner was extremely prompt and professional to answer my questions and gave me a very competitive quote to replace my leaking water tank.

He came to my house on time and started work on time. He brought in additional staff to assist in removing the old and installing the new tank.

His price included all new water and gas lines and valves which made me feel much more secure knowing everything is code compliant.

We have a 55 year old split level house that needs pretty much all drains to be snaked every 2 years or so. When our washer stopped draining well I knew it was time so I looked online and found VIP. We got a same day appointment and Alvino came out and snaked our drains for only $69 each. He also did a free camera inspection of our main waste line that showed we were in pretty good shape for the age of our house. He was on time, polite, and explained everything clearly. I needed to get some work done so we could install a new stackable washer and dryer. I got their name through yelp and I am happy to say I was very pleased with this company. Their response was quick and they were able to do the job that same day. They kept me informed on everything they were doing and they did an excellent job. I am very disappointed in the follow up to my repairs. The bathtub faucet was still leaking water (more than it initially did but I think it was due to wrong part). I've been getting the runaround on when to come back to fix it. I will be looking elsewhere to get this fixed by another plumbing company. I just think once a job is done if there's issue a follow up should be treated in same manner as how when they wanted to earned my business. Giving 3 stars due to first visit was on time and did come back right away to fix one of the leaks however dropping 2 stars due to follow up not being done as told so many times and faucet still leaking. Thanks but I'll take my business elsewhere as I was going to have more projects done to my bathrooms but now I'll go elsewhere for this bigger project as this company does not seem fit to service customers who will stay as long term.
