Honestly they messaged me because i put in a request to get my pipe fixed thats leading to my washer and the garbage disposal.

They messaged me saying they can come out and look and asked for my number to call.

They called and we set up a time for them to come over.

When they came over they didnt even know what they were talking about let alone an inspection fee that they did NOT disclose over the phone of $65.

Be up front with your customers. Dont hide hidden fees.

*update. Now they are calling me because i left a bad review asking me to remove it. Also we did pay the $65 and asked them to leave.
Were not mad about the $65, its just we like when people are upfront, And this business is not!
The only thing they disclosed was that there service to fix anything costs $125*

Spreading misinformation is not what is needed for this business.
This business Is doing what it has to do and i understand that. The things about the price is not an issue. I own two businesses myself so money is NOT an issue, the issue was that things that are being stated in this reply we not disclosed at the time of evaluation of the repairs needed, Nothing was brought up except copper piping. I appreciate the fact that you are concerned about your business and the reviews, but in order to get good reviews there has to be a line of professionalism.

I'm sorry to have changed my opinion on this company.  I've had them to the house in the past, and both services of cleaning out my main sewer line were done well.  One time, the tech arrived 45 minutes beyond the given timeframe.  He was good about it and discounted the service for me.  However my latest experience with their untimeliness, was bad.  When I called them after the no show in the given hour, I was told they goofed and put in another appnt without the appnt gal knowing.  When I called again because of still no show, they were pushing the time back another 2 hours.  I understand things come up, however given I had troubles in the  past with late arrival, this one being quite off & rude, and the availability of so many other companies, I'm moving on.  If you have a long timeframe to hang out and wait for them to arrive, they do a good job with the service.

I can't figure out how to revise what I posted already.  Allied had a guy plumbing for them who is new and they have rectified the situation with a full refund.  Steve offered to come and do the work hisself to fix, but I declined as I've got it set up with another company already.  I was about certain that I would not hear back from Steve and very surprised that I did.  It tells me he does care a lot and want's to stand behind the work.  I believe the kid was let go which is good because his quality of work would not do Allied any favors and other customers would suffer the anxiety I had today.  Steve got back to me late today, a family member was in a motorcycle accident some recent time ago and he was with him all day today.  Understandable.  I'm no longer raging with anger and we can move on from this.  I may use them again, but will ask for Steve to come direct!

Tried to price gouge me last Saturday on a water heater malfunction that they installed 7 months ago. Said I needed a thermocoupler but the pilot tube was actually cracked. I needed a whole new water heater which was warrantied by the manufacturer but I had to have another plumber come out because this plumber left because I wouldn't pay him 400 dollars to install a new thermocoupler. Not professional, safe, or customer service oriented. Note the plumber just called concerning this review. He called my husband a liar and threatened to come over to our house because he only lives a couple blocks away to kick my b@@ch a$$ husband's butt. Very unprofessional and threatening

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Mike went the same day, got his equipment down there and worked on the drain until he got it freed up. excellent communication. great pricing and incredible service. thanks Mike. I appreciate the excellent service.

I have had to call on Nelson Bros for a couple of things around my house and each time I have been more than impressed. Not only did the person that they sent out came with-in the time frame that they gave me, the job(s) were done in a timely fashion and well explained during the process. There was no nonsense and I was lucky to have someone explain the problems that I was facing, along with taking the time to show me preventative actions for any future problems that could arise from certain situations. I am very thankful to have this number handy and I have recommended them to multiple friends and they all have said the same thing.

In my case, same-day service. On-time, respectful and responsive. Can pay via debit/credit cards. Wants to beat the competition! I needed a diagnosis before they started work. Estimate price was lowest given through Yelp!

Called Doug Brock to come take a look at my water heater that wouldn't power on.  He was booked for the next 3 days so instead offered to help trouble shoot over the phone! He asked us to text him photos of the model and walked us through some basic trouble shooting and was able to help us fix the problem!   His helpfulness, honesty and great customer service not only saved us money but earned our trust for all future plumbing needs!  Thanks so much!!

Looks like these folks have two listings on YELP -- I won't repeat myself but these guys are top-notch and a pleasure to work with AND we're super professional and very, very nice!

Sump Pump issues, called and made an appointment and PP was here the next day.  We do have a water-driven sump pump, but our initial pump failed.  We also have a sealed sump pump as the pump pit always had an odor.  I was worried that they would seal it properly, but the plumbers knew exactly how important this solution was and took great pains to test the results, then seal the unit and leave it all working and sealed properly.  Totally satisfied!!!

Birmingham Plumbing did an excellent job!!  Brendan and Sean were the best at installing our hot water tank.  They were efficient, polite and very knowledgeable.  We would highly recommend this company who needs any work.

Never use this company. They're here to scam you. I had a leak in the faucet that was attached to the wall. They told my tenants while I was out of town that they needed to replace the faucet and the pipe in the wall. I came back and assessed it and got it fixed for $60 parts and $80 for labor.

This is the second time this has happened to me. I own multiple rentals and this company does this crap all the time. Somebody gotta put them out of business.

Don't be fooled by his low prices and the promise that he won't charge if he can't do anything.  He charged me $40 and claimed he opened the sewer 'half-way'.  I was too sick to double-check.  The truth is, he left the back door to my house unlocked, the cap is missing from the clean-out drain, and the clean-out drain has been moved to the center of the room.  I can no longer use any part of my plumbing.  IT'S MUCH WORSE!
Oh, and he was very, very rude.

I waited 2 weeks for someone to come to my house, I explained I had a specific time frame that I needed my furnace replaced and central air installed as well as duct work fixed and they agreed to come out. I explained how difficult the work was going to be and they still agreed to come out. The appointment went well, the contractor told us he would be discussing the project with his boss and get us a quote in 3 business days. Well - three days came and went. I called the office because I have a specific timeframe to get work done. I was told someone would call me right back, I left my cell number since I was at work.  The sales person called my home phone and left a message and said they are too busy to take on this project at this time. Now why would they agree to come give us a quote if they were too busy? Waiting for this company has cost me 3 weeks of my timeline. I am sooooo disappointed.

Terrible service, over priced, owner is unprofessional. There are plenty of companies, go elsewhere!
