Best Faucet Installation in Detroit MI
We had a small leak under our kitchen sink. Andre of East Plumbing came out the same day to replace the faucet. He does honest work and we would definitely use his service again. I will share his card with my neighbors too!

My tech Steven was very polite and professional. He explained what was wrong and fixed it quickly. They are a little more expensive but I found both the company and Steven to be very easy to work with. I sent a request by email on Sunday and by 8:30 the next morning they called to tell me someone would be out by noon. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Actually the second time I've had them out (2 separate issues) -- both times they were prompt, polite, cleaned up so nicely, great work and reasonably priced.

Great work on an emergency service call. Called their number and reached their answering service at 9:10 PM on a Sunday. A plumber returned my call at 9:13. At 9:25 they arrived. They were done with my routine sewer line cleaning at 9:35.
The plumber was friendly, polite and knowledgeable
I ended up spending $250. Another company had quoted $185-$225 but after 8 hours of failed promises of service, I called Nelson. I am familiar that they're pretty good but not by any means the lowest price, but I've never been disappointed with the quality of their work.

Steve and his son came the same day I contacted them to fix some plumbing in my basement. Great job!

Tried to price gouge me last Saturday on a water heater malfunction that they installed 7 months ago. Said I needed a thermocoupler but the pilot tube was actually cracked. I needed a whole new water heater which was warrantied by the manufacturer but I had to have another plumber come out because this plumber left because I wouldn't pay him 400 dollars to install a new thermocoupler. Not professional, safe, or customer service oriented. Note the plumber just called concerning this review. He called my husband a liar and threatened to come over to our house because he only lives a couple blocks away to kick my b@@ch a$$ husband's butt. Very unprofessional and threatening

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Mike went the same day, got his equipment down there and worked on the drain until he got it freed up. excellent communication. great pricing and incredible service. thanks Mike. I appreciate the excellent service.

In my case, same-day service. On-time, respectful and responsive. Can pay via debit/credit cards. Wants to beat the competition! I needed a diagnosis before they started work. Estimate price was lowest given through Yelp!

I called about my clogged toilet on a Thursday afternoon, the next morning Ken came out to take a look at it. He was very friendly and very professional. He fixed my toilet with no problem. Told me to look at it, and kept flushing it to make sure the pipes and toilet was clear of any foreign objects, and working properly. The price was very reasonable. Thank you so much for all of your help. I will definitely use this company again, and refer to my neighbors and friends.

You think Thornton and Grooms are bad, wait until you read this review. Their goal is to sell you a part off their truck whether it fixes the issue or not. They have a business manager who is busy dealing with customer complaints, and she will be busy with this one.
A few months ago, I called to have a water heater replaced and a boiler fixed. The cost was on the high side, but hey, if I get good service and all fixed with no issues, then maybe I got what I paid for. I was wrong. The 40 gallon heater was replaced for $1400 and the boiler was fixed for around $450 (At least I thought it was fixed). I signed up for A/C preventive maintenance and cleaning as well. When I called in to schedule A/C preventive maintenance, I got a month out appointment. The dude came and checked 3 A/C units in less than 2 hours. That is fine if he did what they are supposed to do. They wanted to put one capacitor in for $217 and charge one unit for $300+. I declined the extra charges since the unit works fine. After he left, I found out that he didn't clean out the condensers which were listed on their checklist. Also per their supervisor, they don't and didn't clean out or check the evaporator coils, drip pans or drain lines . It is the owner's job to pour bleach every month in the drain line but not part of their preventive maintenance per their manager Steve who stopped by to check per my request. He rescheduled a complete repeat and they sent the same dude with another person with an attitude to redo the maintenance. They finally cleaned the condensers after I heard one saying look clean to me although the supervisor agreed with me on repeating the service. The other tech tried to fix the boiler again and spent a couple hours fooling around until he suspected a part that needed to be replaced for $180 which didn't fix the problem. But hey, he got his wish to sell me a part from his truck. I called the office to reschedule a third trip to look at the boiler, the same supervisor came and suggested replacing a third part, when I asked if this would solve the issue, he replied maybe you should go hire another service company. So after almost $700 and three trips, I got it fixed after replacing the expansion tank which was supposed to be checked the first time. I guess the tank was not a part they carry on the truck. What a mess.. When you see many advertisements and postcards in your mailbox every week, you know they need new customers because they can't retain them.
I read their reply, and adding this. Charging customer $700 and not fixing the issue won't make customer happier. It is either the issue was fixed or not. it is that simple. No excuse. Whatever company is. I got refunded the winter checkup, so I did pay for the AC checkup although wasn't done to my satisfaction.

Terrible service and unprofessional. I recommend you check the owners (David Pfalz) history of this company before hiring them.

Update to past review. Different employee came and we did decide to replace the unit. New employee was very respectful and did a good job. Still I would say that follow up from office (no calls ever responded) is poor. Good technician on site though.

Never use this company. They're here to scam you. I had a leak in the faucet that was attached to the wall. They told my tenants while I was out of town that they needed to replace the faucet and the pipe in the wall. I came back and assessed it and got it fixed for $60 parts and $80 for labor.
This is the second time this has happened to me. I own multiple rentals and this company does this crap all the time. Somebody gotta put them out of business.

Skip this guy. He is a rip off artist. Oh, he seems nice and friendly at first but he'll take you for what you have and do a bad job. He put in new pipes in the basement because sewage was flowing into the basement and he said new pipes would stop that. They didn't. He didn't finish the job properly. After tearing up the cement, putting in new pipes, he screwed up laying the fresh concrete down. He didn't have enough cement to contour the slope of the floor to direct water into the drain so he said he would be back in a few days to finish the floor. He never came back. And when sewage started seeping back into the basement, I called him, NO ANSWER. I text messaged him, NO RESPONSE. I emailed him, NO REPLY. So now he has my money and I have the same problem as I did before but now the sewage is flowing into the basement through brand new pipes.

Had used T&G on several previous occasions. The work seemed well done, so I overlooked their fairly higher prices and sometimes inconvenient scheduling issues that creep up occasionally on their end.
Had water dripping from the laundry room into a basement storage room. Two T&G service techs came out and could not specifically nail down or diagnose the issue. Their best guess at finding the problem was to make as many cuts into the laundry room and office drywall from floor to ceiling as was necessary to find the source of the leak. We were looking at more than $1000 not including drywall repair. I paid them $150+ for their inspection time and stated I would think about the proposal. Before accepting T&G or getting another service company's opinion, I contacted my friend who built my house who in turn contacted the plumber he used. The plumber believed T&G's proposal was woefully unnecessary and relayed his thoughts back as to the likely issue. The problem ended up being nothing more than a faulty cold water valve which was fixed for the price of dinner. Did I ever skirt a majorly expensive yet unnecessary repair job. It's unfortunate that an experience such as this causes such a massive loss of trust.

I needed the pipe from my sump pump replaced. Pretty straightforward job. Maybe 1 to 2 hours of labor and approx. $20 to $30 in materials.I was happy with the professionalism of how they set up their appointments and notified me by text that Kevin the plumber was on his way. He looked things over and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He was very pleasant and courteous. He told me that he would go out to his truck and formulate a quote for me. I had a figure of about $400 in my head. Kevin came back with a quote for $600.
I was a a little taken aback by this quote, but decided that I wanted to get the repair over with, because I had sold the house and needed to get the repair done before closing. I told Kevin to go ahead with the work, and he told me that he would be back in two days to get it done. This gave me time to think, and I decided that I was being ripped off.
I called another plumber. He gave me the same diagnosis as Kevin, however his quote was $400 less than the quote from Kevin at Hoover.
Needless to say I cancelled my appointment with Hoover.
This is really unbelievable, because I am a returning customer. I've worked with Hoover twice before. Apparently Hoover doesn't understand the the cost of customer acquisition or the 80-20 rule that I teach in my marketing classes. 80% of your business comes from 20% of your customers, and those 20% are your returning customers. Hoover just lost one member of their 20%.

Hot water line on our rented Reliance tank developed leak. It was right on the elbow on the pipe coming out of the Reliance installed tank for which we generously pay almost $100 every quarter. The leak was enough to cause flooding in our basement, entire floor will have to be replaced.
But that is not the reason for the review. The real reason is trying to reach Reliance for help. Tried to reach them whole Saturday, whole Sunday to get the elbow replaced so we could have water in the house (had to close main valve to stop leak). No answer at all from any number called, tried the sales line, billing line, they are all useless. Finally decided to call different plumber who fixed the leak. Thank you Reliance for absolutely nothing. That tank of yours is coming out and you can keep your crappy service for yourself.
