This wasn't a clog or a leak; this was a request for a quote to repipe our galvanized lines and I am not going to pay for a quote. They seem afraid of competition and try to lock the homeowner in because an out-of-pocket investment is made. The valuable time of a tech coming out is baloney. I asked to schedule a quote; then you schedule when a tech is in the area. Better yet, hire salespeople or have management issue quotes if the tech's time is so valuable. I suspected this was an expensive project so we are shopping and Universal just seems unwilling to compete.

We had a leak in our house shortly after we moved in that we couldn't find the source off. Chose Allied based on location and reviews.  Allied was quick to answer even thought it was late in the evening, and had someone to our house the next morning. We will use them again when we need a plumber!

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Mike went the same day, got his equipment down there and worked on the drain until he got it freed up. excellent communication. great pricing and incredible service. thanks Mike. Our hot water tank started to leak on a Tuesday and Brock Mechanical was out on Thursday with a new tank and ready to install. Doug provided an estimate over the phone and Ken did a fantastic job on the install! He explained everything about the install before he started, showed us the sediment that had built up in the old unit and how to prevent it in the new tank to increase its life, and removed the old unit which was extremely heavy. He cleaned up prior to leaving and completing the invoice was a snap. I would highly recommend Brock Mechanical.

We have been using Birmingham Plumbing Heating and Cooling for the past few years and I have never been disappointed. I like that they send out an e-mail letting you know who to expect, which helps me feel confident and comfortable with who I'm letting into my home. The most recent technician quickly deduced what turned out to be an easy fix, and was professional and kind in showing me how to prevent future issues. I've never had an issue with this company and will continue to use them!

Not a good company at all.  They charged us $950 and did NOTHING then wanted over $4000 for the real fix.  I paid someone else $1000 to fix it right.   The only plus was that they actually showed up.

This was the worst experience I had had with a service company in my 50 years. I needed a updated gas fireplace replaced at my home. They sent out 2 techs that were not licensed or certified to do the work. Between the 2 of them they could not figure out how to hook up the unit after 2 hours with instructions.
A third tech came out 2 hours later and looked at it then wanted to see the gas line. He says that it needs rerouted and it will be $1012.00 to put in the gas fireplace. The first 2 techs said the line was perfect and that's the way they would hook it up.
Price gouging because the first techs were not being paid. There's more but I'm done. Do not use this company.

Great communication, responsiveness, and service all around. Andre responded to my request for a quote within 3 minutes and called me promptly to discuss. We appreciated his transparency on pricing throughout the process, especially when troubleshooting unforeseen issues. He was able to install our two faucets, do a valve replacement under our kitchen sink, and more, all within less than a few hours of quoting the work out. Highly recommend and will call him again when we need additional service.

I simply could not be more pleased with the service I receive from Nelson Brothers and the fair prices.  Having had my kitchen sink dismantled for the installation of new solid surface counters, I needed the sink hooked back up and a new facet installed. Mark was not just an immensely skilled plumber, but he was delightful and generously tolerated my 11 mo puppy who insisted on helping after an overly excited welcome.  The existing sink was reinstalled with disposal and dishwasher hookup, new trap, and he swapped out the faucet for $278.      
BTW: Initially, I had T&G from Birmingham came out because Nelson Brothers had a couple day delay. There was no problem to discover--the work was predefined. T&G sends out a very polite professional plumber who takes a look, asks about poor drainage, and writes an estimate for $788. I declined that quote as well as the $69 service fee. A supervisor tried to convince me how fair the price was because they have such a nice truck sitting in my driveway and they have book which defines how the plumber must do each job and the cost.  $510 for T&B's truck and book? No thanks.

Darin was responsive, honest, and fixed my AC unit quickly at a very reasonable price.  I appreciated his candid and friendly demeanor.  He invited me to stay to watch he and his apprentice repair the unit which allowed me to understand the issues that was causing the malfunction.  

I was so impressed with his work that I will be getting my furnace and AC units maintenanced from Burton HVAC every spring and fall.

Brian and John have done a couple jobs for me, neither were anything small! I do most of my own stuff, but sometimes there are problems bigger than my abilities/credentials. I waited 6 months after their last job for me, making sure the settled repairs are bonafide and my review is fair for readers. I will not ever hesitate to call them for that next problem that's coming down my calendar.

In my case, same-day service. On-time, respectful and responsive. Can pay via debit/credit cards. Wants to beat the competition! I needed a diagnosis before they started work. Estimate price was lowest given through Yelp!

I have never had a problem with the work I've had done, they have always been prompt, polite, fun and informative but we just had a big job done that was almost $6000, it was a Friday they were here until almost 7:00 which is fine, they didn't bring a cleanout with them and put a temporary one on and said they would be back on Monday to put the permanent one on and bring some dirt to backfill the trench because they took out more pipe than they put back and was short on dirt, I was fine with that and paid them for a job well done, Monday came.. no one showed up no call, no text, nothing. Tuesday came and went no one showed up no calls or texts, I finally called on Wednesday and demanded they finish my yard and cleanout so I could finish putting in my garden, they scheduled me for Thursday which was unacceptable and I called them and told them that, after several calls they finally showed up Wednesday, again the workmanship and professionalism of the guys in the field was great, as a company they seem to take the money and run regardless of how much you spent on the job, I learned from my mistake and would like to pass on what I learned, Do Not pay Thornton and Grooms until the job is 100% complete!!!

Very prompt, quick to schedule the quote and perform the work.   The technicians were friendly and considerate (always wore shoe covers when indoors and removed them as soon as the stepped outside).    Only complaint is that the work was a bit pricey.    Other than that, highly recommended.

Very satisfied with their plumbing service and can say they went above and beyond.  The service members were accessible whenever we called (even on the holiday!) and came to check our water-leaking problem promptly (the next day in our case).  The service members were friendly and patient.  I would highly recommend them!

SCAM!!! Paid $194.41 to have them come out and fix a slow draining toilet.  First plumber came out and only put an auger in, then said it would take $400 to remove the toilet if needed.  Said the drain was fixed and left.  5 days later, same problem happened, and I had to call them back.   A different plumber came out and did the exact same thing.   Of course, 2 days later, the toilet backed up again.  Instead of paying RotorRooter AGAIN (to fix a problem they never fixed), I called a local plumber and he was able to get the drain unclogged immediately!!  TOTAL SCAM!! They do whatever they can to get you to take the toilet off... DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!

Never rent any equipment from RELIANCE. They will install it one day, but good luck with removing. They never want to remove it. I have water heater which was used by the previous landlord. Its old and its not economical. I wanted to remove it, I was given the option to drop of. Other options are very expensive. I was given an account number and when I went there to drop off, they didn't accept it saying that the account is not in my name. ACCORDING TO THEM, IT NEEDS TO BE TRANSFERRED TO MY NAME SO THAT I CAN REMOVE IT. $35 FOR NEW ACCOUNT. I SAID ITS FINE. PLEASE GO AHEAD AND CHANGE IT IN MY NAME. This happened on may 17th-2022 since then i have been talking to customer service, billing department, removal department and every department with reliance. They will ask all the information like address, first name, last name, post code and once they realise that you want to remove the water tank, they will keep on transferring the call to one department to another department. Every day, i have to spend at least 2 hours on phone over them. It is not yet rectified even now. My suggestion to users who rent the equipment from reliance is IF  YOU HAVE DECIDED TO MOVE OUT FROM THEM, PLEASE RESIGN YOUR JOB FIRST, SO THAT YOU CAN AT LEAST SPEND 2-3 HOURS TALKING WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE, EXPLAINING YOUR SITUATION TO EACH AND EVERY AGENT AND SPELLING YOUR FIRST NAME AND LAST NAME TO EACH AND EVERY ONE. THEN GOOD LUCK!
