Best Water Heater Installation in Detroit MI

I had an issue in my new home with the kitchen faucet snapping off and kitchen drain being connected wrong. Andre came out from East Plumbing and completed the job same day in just a few hours. I would work with Andre and East Plumbing again, but have to be sure to clearly communicate the price for the entire job in the beginning before starting the job. One number was given and then ended with a different number. I had no problem paying the final price because the quality of work was good and  completed up to code. Thank you again Andre!

The guys were really friendly and replaced my garbage disposal fast! I highly recommend.

Actually the second time I've had them out (2 separate issues) -- both times they were prompt, polite, cleaned up so nicely, great work and reasonably priced.

I had a repair done by allied in May 2018 and I spent over $4000 to have the bell storm drain fixed only to have it fail less than two years later. I am incredibly frustrated that I spent so much money to have the same issue when I was assured that it would not happen again. They opened up my basement floor and took out the broken drain and replaced it, but they apparently did not take enough of the damaged drain because I'm having the EXACT same problem. Water backs up in my basement and when it's snaked, tree roots come out and the water will not drain. While they were responsive and on time, if I spend that much money I expect it to actually be fixed. I am beyond upset that I have to be dealing with this.

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Mike went the same day, got his equipment down there and worked on the drain until he got it freed up. excellent communication. great pricing and incredible service. thanks Mike. We never got the opportunity to do business due to the multiple incidents of unprofessionalism. I asked if they could call when they're on their way and was told that's not a standard business practice, but they would call with ample notice if they were delayed or had to cancel. I got a call from Jeremy 30 minutes before the appointment time to cancel since Rick had to perform an emergency service. I asked if anyone else could come in his place but Rick, the owner, is the only one that provides estimates. I was disappointed that I did not get better notice as I already left work. I later get a call to say he will be on his way, followed by another call to say he won't due to an accident but they'd call tomorrow to schedule another time. That call never came, so I called back on Monday to say this has been a hassle and I'd like someone to prioritize the rescheduled appointment. Rick called back and before I answered I heard him say she's not going to like what I have to say and despite asking multiple times what they could do better (not rely on one person for estimates, call back when they say they will, give a better heads up for cancellations, etc.) which I was ready to provide honest feedback he had it go in one ear and out the other and instead of listening made me feel bad about his accident and said there are many other plumbers I can go with. That's what I'm going to do. I hope they learn to provide better customer service.

I called Dixie Plumbing at 3:15am when I woke up to a flooded basement, like many others in the Dearborn area.  They were the only 24 hour plumber I called that actually answered the phone at that time and they had a plumber out to my house within a few hours to clear the basement drains and get the water to recede.  He was very professional and efficient.  This company was literal angels in the midst of a horrible situation.  I would totally recommend!

In my case, same-day service. On-time, respectful and responsive. Can pay via debit/credit cards. Wants to beat the competition! I needed a diagnosis before they started work. Estimate price was lowest given through Yelp!

Doug Brock and his crew are top notch.    Doug took time out of his busy day to check out a leaky pipe in my basement. Was upfront and honest about work that needed to be preformed. Sent his crew out within a day to do hours going hours of work.    At a fabulous price.  Brock mechanical is and will be the only plumbing contractors that I will ever have touch my properties.   Honest, dependable, affordable.  Not my first dealing w them. surly will not be my last!   If I can give 10 stars I would!!

They explained to us about our drain system and how it was failing, showed pictures of everything and provided pictures on the write-up.

Friendly, professional, and most importantly (for us at the time) efficient!

Hopefully we don't have to do business with them again, but if we need someone we will know who to call!

asked for a quote in an email to avoid service call charge and asked them to email me price. They emailed me a reasonable price quickly and were out in a couple of days to fix a leaky shower drain. They found it didn't need replacing, just re sealing and tightening. Charged much less than the quoted job.  To do the quoted job they wanted $250, 2 other plumbers quoted me $400. First plumber I have ever used that I would call again

Looks like these folks have two listings on YELP -- I won't repeat myself but these guys are top-notch and a pleasure to work with AND we're super professional and very, very nice!

Had a backed up drain on a Saturday night. Super cool guy came out and fixed it quickly for a good price. He took the time to tell me where the problem was. He even entertained my kids' questions. Great service!

Never use this company. They're here to scam you. I had a leak in the faucet that was attached to the wall. They told my tenants while I was out of town that they needed to replace the faucet and the pipe in the wall. I came back and assessed it and got it fixed for $60 parts and $80 for labor.

This is the second time this has happened to me. I own multiple rentals and this company does this crap all the time. Somebody gotta put them out of business.

Skip this guy. He is a rip off artist. Oh, he seems nice and friendly at first but he'll take you for what you have and do a bad job. He put in new pipes in the basement because sewage was flowing into the basement and he said new pipes would stop that. They didn't. He didn't finish the job properly. After tearing up the cement, putting in new pipes, he screwed up laying the fresh concrete down. He didn't have enough cement to contour the slope of the floor to direct water into the drain so he said he would be back in a few days to finish the floor. He never came back. And when sewage started seeping back into the basement, I called him, NO ANSWER. I text messaged him, NO RESPONSE. I emailed him, NO REPLY. So now he has my money and I have the same problem as I did before but now the sewage is flowing into the basement through brand new pipes.

Very shady. Incredibly overpriced, and will offer to sell you things you do not need - at ridiculous prices.  Too many honest businesses around to feel the need to call this place.  Avoid.

I needed the pipe from my sump pump replaced.  Pretty straightforward job.  Maybe 1 to 2 hours of labor and approx. $20 to $30 in materials.I was happy with the professionalism of how they set up their appointments and notified me by text that Kevin the plumber was on his way.  He looked things over and diagnosed the problem very quickly.  He was very pleasant and courteous.  He told me that he would go out to his truck and formulate a quote for me.  I had a figure of about $400 in my head. Kevin came back with a quote for $600.
I was a a little taken aback by this quote, but decided that I wanted to get the repair over with, because I had sold the house and needed to get the repair done before closing. I told Kevin to go ahead with the work, and he told me that he would be back in two days to get it done.  This gave me time to think, and I decided that I was being ripped off.
I called another plumber.  He gave me the same diagnosis as Kevin, however his quote was $400 less than the quote from Kevin at Hoover.
Needless to say I cancelled my appointment with Hoover.
This is really unbelievable, because I am a returning customer.  I've worked with Hoover twice before.  Apparently Hoover doesn't understand the the cost of customer acquisition or the 80-20 rule that I teach in my marketing classes.  80% of your business comes from 20% of your customers, and those 20% are your returning customers.  Hoover just lost one member of their 20%.

The Search For Heat The Saga Continues.
This is a true story and is my opinion.
On Friday December 20th our furnace broke down. We called Reliance to have a technician come out to fix it. A technician came out and told us that it was a circuit board and that he would order the part but that it would not arrive until December 24th. The box did arrive on the 24th and we called to have the technician come out. He arrived that day and spent some time attempting to fix the furnace after making a lot of noise. He came upstairs and informed us that the part they had sent was the wrong part it was a blower motor and not a circuit board and that he had damaged our blower trying to put in the new one after realized it was the wrong blower motor. My thought was, you didn't realize the difference. He said he would have to order another circuit board and that we would get a free blower motor because of the damage to the original, which was in good condition to start, but that he could not order them until Friday Dec 27th and that they would arrive on
Dec 30th. So more days of cold without a furnace. On Dec 30th the circuit board arrived but guess what, no blower motor, so now the motor has to be ordered and it will most likely not arrive until Jan 3rd. That means we will have been without a furnace for 2 weeks. We called
reliance to speak to a supervisor and was told by the supervisor to call again tomorrow because the parts depot is closed, sorry for the inconvenience. Inconvenience are you kidding, being without heat for two weeks is more than just an inconvenience. We have had to purchase electric heaters and run them constantly. My wife has a medical condition that is adverse to cold and my 12 year old granddaughter lives with us as well. This whole situation is unacceptable and should never have happened. I think Reliance needs to change their name.
