Andre doubled the price ($525) from original estimate for faucet installation when at suburban Detroit home due to minor change in work.  My recommendation is to find someone honorable to do the work - this company should be avoided.

A very good job installing a new garbage disposal.  The plumber explained to me how he was going to install, how it worked and also how and why he was going to modify a few of the pipes that came out of the dispoal.  Apparently the DIY'ers before me didn't have the plumbing at the right heights,  causing stuff put down the sink to sit in the pipe.  Did a little research online about it and he was indid right.  He answered every question I had and explained everything in a way that even I could understand.  They were also priced very well in comparison to 2 other plumbing companies I talked to.  Good job

My whole experience was amazing! I sent a few plumbing companies a request for a quote on here, and Steve was the first to respond. His quote was absolutely reasonably priced. Not only that, but they could do the job the next day!! I was super impressed with how fast they could get here. Steve was amazing!! Took time to explain what could be causing the plumbing issue. And after snaking the drain, we found out baby wipes are what were causing my back-up issue. Steve is now my go-to plumber! Thank you Steve!!!

We are new to the area and wanted to keep it local. Dixie plumbing had great response time and was on time less than 24 hours later. Wore a mask, was professional and had everything fixed in a matter of less than 15 minutes. Pricing was reasonable and I will call them again should I have any other issues.

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Mike went the same day, got his equipment down there and worked on the drain until he got it freed up. excellent communication. great pricing and incredible service. thanks Mike. I would NEVER call or recommend Nelson Bros to anyone. The experience started out nice, came out w/i a couple hours and the guy was nice enough. The issue turned into a bigger one and the theatrics about what a huge expensive fix it was going to be along w/ the condescending attitude was ridiculous. They said it would be btwn $1500-5000 and would have to tear up my whole basement. I called Waterwork and the job was done in combination w/ fixing a leaky toilet for $1380.

In my case, same-day service. On-time, respectful and responsive. Can pay via debit/credit cards. Wants to beat the competition! I needed a diagnosis before they started work. Estimate price was lowest given through Yelp!

We are so pleased to have been referred to Doug & BROCK MECHANICAL (a special thanks to Meg in Brighton)! On a cold Sunday evening our H2O tank finally gave up it's proverbial ghost. I called Doug & he rearranged their schedule to arrive the very next morning with a new high efficiency unit! Ken Jackson completely replaced the Bradford White tank in under 3 hours! Now you tell me where the heck you can top that level of service in today's world.

Precision Plumbing repaired an indoor faucet yesterday.  We have used them for our plumbing for over 7 years.  They are always profession, courteous, and their prices are fair.  They do business right!

I am disgusted as to how much I spent. My issue turned into a nightmare.  I called them because a friend recommended them to me but I felt like I was totally taken advantage of. They made more money off of me for a simple fix than some people make in a month! It's disgusting I get it...everyone  deserves to get paid but charging what they charged -double is awful. What a way to take advantage of the community they service. No responsibility taken for their job! What happened to customer service?!

SCAM!!! Paid $194.41 to have them come out and fix a slow draining toilet.  First plumber came out and only put an auger in, then said it would take $400 to remove the toilet if needed.  Said the drain was fixed and left.  5 days later, same problem happened, and I had to call them back.   A different plumber came out and did the exact same thing.   Of course, 2 days later, the toilet backed up again.  Instead of paying RotorRooter AGAIN (to fix a problem they never fixed), I called a local plumber and he was able to get the drain unclogged immediately!!  TOTAL SCAM!! They do whatever they can to get you to take the toilet off... DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!

Skip this guy. He is a rip off artist. Oh, he seems nice and friendly at first but he'll take you for what you have and do a bad job. He put in new pipes in the basement because sewage was flowing into the basement and he said new pipes would stop that. They didn't. He didn't finish the job properly. After tearing up the cement, putting in new pipes, he screwed up laying the fresh concrete down. He didn't have enough cement to contour the slope of the floor to direct water into the drain so he said he would be back in a few days to finish the floor. He never came back. And when sewage started seeping back into the basement, I called him, NO ANSWER. I text messaged him, NO RESPONSE. I emailed him, NO REPLY. So now he has my money and I have the same problem as I did before but now the sewage is flowing into the basement through brand new pipes.

If I could leave a negative star rating, I would. When we had a flood in our basement, we called this company and were told that the clean up cost would start at $450--after the plumber started working our quote went up to $2500. Yikes! Now we get that people have different plumbing needs and different sized basements, and therefore pricing is going to vary, but $2500 isn't even sort of close to $450; a more accurate picture of what it generally costs would have been nice.  My mother called the company back to get clarification on why there was such a difference in price, and the woman she spoke to was exceedingly, unnecessarily rude, saying that she'd told my mom that $450 would just be a starting point, and actually started yelling at my mother.  Completely unacceptable.  Bottom line: they were not as clear as they should have been with the pricing, and their attitudes/treatment of us only made this process that much more unpleasant and stressful.

If you don't have the wherewithal, the understanding, heck, the customer service skills, to deal with people when they're going through a stressful experience, when they're being told that a majority of their items will have to be thrown out, then you're in the wrong business.  Please get better training for your employees, or maybe just some new employees.

They only service certain zip codes in Detroit, which are selected based on proximity to where their technicians live. I asked for examples of the zip codes they deign to serve, and the zip codes they shared just happen to be the wealthier and predominantly white zip codes in Detroit.

Needed free on for central unit asked him come out before 1:00 came 1:30 same day I waited all Am for him heard nothing he said he couldn't read his secretary handwriting he did come next day charge 230$ cash 2.5 of free on for central air he is nice  my hubby asked where we're screws for our unit I said I have no clue missing parts now from unit I'm aware he can't see up close well so maybe hard see idk anyways I wouldn't recommend because of those reasons
