After reading all the reviews, I decided that Allied would be a good choice to deal with my backed up main drain. Steve answered my request for a quote within minutes and we set up the appointment for the next day. He was prompt (arrived 2 minutes early, actually) and had the drain clear within 30 minutes. He had great advice for how to avoid issues moving forward. I have already set a reminder on my phone to call him again a year from now to have it cleared again! Wore a mask, was professional and had everything fixed in a matter of less than 15 minutes. Pricing was reasonable and I will call them again should I have any other issues.

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. I had a plugged drain in my tub and called a local plumber Gary the plumber who came out with his wife, who also thought she was a plumber too(was a very strange experience) I was told by Gary who never put pencil to paper that it would cost me $1,000, realizing something just wasn't right I paid him his $40.00 he asked for for his 10 minutes in my home and he left knowing I would never ask him back to do the work, this is known as a scare tactic to get you upset and pay the con artist prices. I called Nelson Brothers Plumbing and they sent Creith the very next day at the actual time we had set, he was like an angel with a plunger and auger!! He went through the back of one of my cupboards, he didn't have to tear my kitchen wall out like Gary the plumber had said was the only way? I have never seen anyone work so hard to correct a problem without inflating my bill, Creith was here about an hour and 45 minutes, fixed everything and my bill was $330.00. Highly recommend Nelson Brothers Plumbing!!! Jeremy in the office is also extremely nice, they had me at hello. :)

Our kitchen drain deep behind a wall had backed up and was leaking dirty water in our basement.  This was only a week from Thanksgiving which we were hosting.  Needlessly to say we were freaked out.  To make matters worse very few plumbers were available.  We called around and were referred to Brock Mechanical.  They sent Ken  Jackson out to us the same day we called, while other plumbers were telling us they weren't available until after Thanksgiving.  Ken assessed the situation and came up with a elegant solution which avoid tearing up walls right before the big holiday.  As promised he came back two days later and implemented the elegant solution in a matter of a few hours.  He went above and beyond the job he was requested to do, by noticing our kitchen faucet was running slow and cleaned it out as best he could.  They charged us a reasonable amount and I don't have to repair a torn up wall right before Thanksgiving.  I can't recommend Brock Mechanical enough for all plumbing needs.

I've used these guys several times.  While nobody likes the added expense of needing a plumber, I've found them to be fair and honest.  At least 3 different guys have been sent to our house - all have been competent, courteous, timely, and helpful.  I highly recommend them.

Had another plumber out twice but they failed to fix the problem.  It was a stopped up kitched drain. Precision came out and fixed it and fixed it right the first time.  It took time as the problem was not as one would expect but the individual preservered unlike the first group.  If I have another plumbing problem I know who to call the First Time.

We use have used Birmingham Plumbing on several occasions for both plumbing and heating and cooling.  They are always on time, they explain what needs to be done make sure the work area is cleaned up.  The prices are great and the staff is super friendly.  I will continue to use them.

We called Anytime plumbing and they came out the same day. Sam fixed the problem right away. Very professional and nice. He gave us advice on how to prevent the problem from happening again.
We will definitely call anytime plumbing and ask for Sam next time.

I would give zero stars they got mad when I refused to pay 1200 to sanitize my laundry room floor so the plumber that arrived before the cleaning crew decided he no longer wanted to find the leak in my home very unprofessional and rude once he decided he didn't want to take on the job

Their work may be of the highest quality, but their prices are way, way out of line. If you're thinking of hiring them, make sure you get a second quote before you have them start. I agree with Mandy. Their first priority seems to be sales.

I needed the pipe from my sump pump replaced.  Pretty straightforward job.  Maybe 1 to 2 hours of labor and approx. $20 to $30 in materials.I was happy with the professionalism of how they set up their appointments and notified me by text that Kevin the plumber was on his way.  He looked things over and diagnosed the problem very quickly.  He was very pleasant and courteous.  He told me that he would go out to his truck and formulate a quote for me.  I had a figure of about $400 in my head. Kevin came back with a quote for $600.
I was a a little taken aback by this quote, but decided that I wanted to get the repair over with, because I had sold the house and needed to get the repair done before closing. I told Kevin to go ahead with the work, and he told me that he would be back in two days to get it done.  This gave me time to think, and I decided that I was being ripped off.
I called another plumber.  He gave me the same diagnosis as Kevin, however his quote was $400 less than the quote from Kevin at Hoover.
Needless to say I cancelled my appointment with Hoover.
This is really unbelievable, because I am a returning customer.  I've worked with Hoover twice before.  Apparently Hoover doesn't understand the the cost of customer acquisition or the 80-20 rule that I teach in my marketing classes.  80% of your business comes from 20% of your customers, and those 20% are your returning customers.  Hoover just lost one member of their 20%.

They replaced my sump pump and broke my water backup refused to repair it .Lied about the problem . I called another plumber he told me they broke the lever on the water line and put it back in a position that hid what they did .
