I would give Andre 10 stars if I could. He came to the house and fix all the problems and help me diagnose ways to save money and head off problems in the future. As plumbers go, he must be one of the most ethical ones out on the field. Seems like a great person. I highly recommend him and East Plumbing.

11/23/2018: Once again, Mark solved a plumbing problem for me, this time in my laundry room.  I needed more space for a new washer and dryer. Mark assessed the problem, explained a couple of possible solutions, and gave me a price quote for each.  I chose the less costly solution, and it turned out great.  
Mark moved my laundry tub (new tub and fixtures) six inches over to the side wall, which solved the space issue.  
As always, he did a great job and went the extra mile to correct the main problem, along with another small leak nearby. I really appreciate his attention to detail.  
He's always on time, explains things clearly, performs work thoroughly, and cleans up the area before leaving.  Mark is a real pro!

had them install a kitchen sink faucet that was a deep sink and hard for me to access as I am a senior citizen. Also I needed a leaking gas pipe fitting replaced at the same time, both jobs were done in speedy time and was a quality repair and installation. Never had a problem later with any leaks or other things. They cleaned up after the job and the price quoted was very reasonable. I now have another new problem and will be calling them back.

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Mike went the same day, got his equipment down there and worked on the drain until he got it freed up. excellent communication. great pricing and incredible service. thanks Mike. From start to finish it was a pleasure doing business with this company. I do not like to employ contractors or other companies to come into my house to work because they never live up to my expectations. Nelson Brothers Plumbing exceeded my expectations. This is the first time I have worked with this company. I told the scheduler what I needed and he set up an appointment for the same day I called. Creith  called before showing up, which was a nice touch. He had a mask on and used Footies to cover his shoes, thank you. The minute he got into our house went right to work fixing my clogged drain. There was a mess around the clean out which Creith picked up and cleaned the surrounding area . After the job I gave him a credit card he processed on his iPad and emailed me a receipt with a guarantee. Nelson Brothers is my new plumbing company !!!

Came out to fix a gas leak within hours on a Sunday. Very professional and took care of our gas leak within an hour. Highly recommend and will refer anyone who is in need of plumbing or gas leak issues.

I messaged them on yelp got a reply and a next day appointment within 20 minutes. Incredible customer service. When they came out and determined that my issue wouldn't require their services they gave me some advice and insisted I didn't owe them anything for coming out. If I ever need the services they provide in the future they'll be my first phone call. Highly recommend them.

Doug reached out immediately and I was able to get Ken to come over within the next few days.  Had a leak in the tub faucet.  Ken came and replace the parts.  No more leaks. Kind, respectful, Very nice work. Highly recommended!

Commercial grade disposal stopped working and I called Birmingham plumbing. They came recommended. What a joke!

Basically, a 30 minute diagnostic check cost $205 and the thing still isn't working. He quoted me $450-500 if he had to work on it. The service guy didn't even remove the unit to check it....in fact, he never took a tool out. Sat and watched it from above. Blamed the issue on something so ridiculous, it made no sense. That's what $205 got me. What would $450 get me?

He did quote me $5,000 on a new unit. Really? No closer to resolving the issue, wasted my time, money and he had no intentions of doing anything further than come up with an excuse so he could leave.
I guess Birmingham Plumbing charges Birmingham prices. Hey guys, what about customer service and doing what your supposed to do....WORK!

If I could leave a negative star rating, I would. When we had a flood in our basement, we called this company and were told that the clean up cost would start at $450--after the plumber started working our quote went up to $2500. Yikes! Now we get that people have different plumbing needs and different sized basements, and therefore pricing is going to vary, but $2500 isn't even sort of close to $450; a more accurate picture of what it generally costs would have been nice.  My mother called the company back to get clarification on why there was such a difference in price, and the woman she spoke to was exceedingly, unnecessarily rude, saying that she'd told my mom that $450 would just be a starting point, and actually started yelling at my mother.  Completely unacceptable.  Bottom line: they were not as clear as they should have been with the pricing, and their attitudes/treatment of us only made this process that much more unpleasant and stressful.

Dear A&E Anytime Plumbing,

If you don't have the wherewithal, the understanding, heck, the customer service skills, to deal with people when they're going through a stressful experience, when they're being told that a majority of their items will have to be thrown out, then you're in the wrong business.  Please get better training for your employees, or maybe just some new employees.

Update to past review.  Different employee came and we did decide to replace the unit.  New employee was very respectful and did a good job.  Still I would say that follow up from office (no calls ever responded) is poor.  Good technician on site though.

Armstrong plumbing came out to fix a busted sewer pipe.  The job took much longer than projected, however, they worked hard and go the job done.  I would highly recommend them.
I appreciate the professionalism they brought to the job.  They cleaned up after themselves and I think they went above and beyond to do the job correctly and get it done.
I would trust them to help with any plumbing/sewage problem.

SCAM!!! Paid $194.41 to have them come out and fix a slow draining toilet.  First plumber came out and only put an auger in, then said it would take $400 to remove the toilet if needed.  Said the drain was fixed and left.  5 days later, same problem happened, and I had to call them back.   A different plumber came out and did the exact same thing.   Of course, 2 days later, the toilet backed up again.  Instead of paying RotorRooter AGAIN (to fix a problem they never fixed), I called a local plumber and he was able to get the drain unclogged immediately!!  TOTAL SCAM!! They do whatever they can to get you to take the toilet off... DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!

Don't be fooled by his low prices and the promise that he won't charge if he can't do anything.  He charged me $40 and claimed he opened the sewer 'half-way'.  I was too sick to double-check.  The truth is, he left the back door to my house unlocked, the cap is missing from the clean-out drain, and the clean-out drain has been moved to the center of the room.  I can no longer use any part of my plumbing.  IT'S MUCH WORSE!
Oh, and he was very, very rude.

What a disaster of an experience. I scheduled an appointment well in advance with Thornton & Grooms for a very time sensitive (new tenants moving in) plumbing repair at my rental home in Oakland County. I was given a window of 1:00-5:00 pm for them to arrive and as such took the afternoon off of work. At 3:47 I get a call that they cannot make it that day but can the following Monday. That;s great, so I can miss another half day of work? This is the second time this happened to be with them, the first was with my business. I will say the woman i spoke to was kind and I know she didn't cause the problem, she offered me a free maintenance plan. Why would I trust you for preventative maintenance when you don't show up? While I appreciate the offer it was useless given I didn't even have functional plumbing at the time. Once shame on them, twice shame on me - never never again will I use this company

Very prompt, quick to schedule the quote and perform the work.   The technicians were friendly and considerate (always wore shoe covers when indoors and removed them as soon as the stepped outside).    Only complaint is that the work was a bit pricey.    Other than that, highly recommended.

Terrible customer service. Our rental water heater broke, leaked all over floor, ruining floor, and they say they can't come until Friday. Today is Saturday, one week with no hot water? They seem to think nothing wrong with this. We went and bought a tank at Lowes and had it installed same day. $1000 and done. We pay between 50 and 60 dollars every 3 months  to rent, times 20 years. Lots of money to get no service when you need it. Can't wait to call them to cancel except customer service department is closed today, go figure. Oh yeah, now we need a new floor too. Thanks Reliance, for nothing!
