Honestly they messaged me because i put in a request to get my pipe fixed thats leading to my washer and the garbage disposal.

They messaged me saying they can come out and look and asked for my number to call.

They called and we set up a time for them to come over.

When they came over they didnt even know what they were talking about let alone an inspection fee that they did NOT disclose over the phone of $65.

Be up front with your customers. Dont hide hidden fees.

*update. Now they are calling me because i left a bad review asking me to remove it. Also we did pay the $65 and asked them to leave.
Were not mad about the $65, its just we like when people are upfront, And this business is not!
The only thing they disclosed was that there service to fix anything costs $125*

Spreading misinformation is not what is needed for this business.
This business Is doing what it has to do and i understand that. The things about the price is not an issue. I own two businesses myself so money is NOT an issue, the issue was that things that are being stated in this reply we not disclosed at the time of evaluation of the repairs needed, Nothing was brought up except copper piping. I appreciate the fact that you are concerned about your business and the reviews, but in order to get good reviews there has to be a line of professionalism.

Paul arrived as promised, reviewed the job and provided an estimate. The estimate was significantly more than I had anticipated, but since I was under a time constraint I ok'd the work. Paul did a great job and we're very pleased with the final result.

Royal Flush has done a few jobs for us over the last few years (faucet installs, backed up drains, hot water tank).  They have always been prompt to respond to calls and answer all my questions.  Work is done professionally and timely.  They will always be my first call if I need any plumbing work.

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Mike went the same day, got his equipment down there and worked on the drain until he got it freed up. excellent communication. great pricing and incredible service. thanks Mike. We are new to the area and wanted to keep it local. Dixie plumbing had great response time and was on time less than 24 hours later. Wore a mask, was professional and had everything fixed in a matter of less than 15 minutes. Pricing was reasonable and I will call them again should I have any other issues.

I messaged them on yelp got a reply and a next day appointment within 20 minutes. Incredible customer service. When they came out and determined that my issue wouldn't require their services they gave me some advice and insisted I didn't owe them anything for coming out. If I ever need the services they provide in the future they'll be my first phone call. Highly recommend them.

I called about my clogged toilet on a Thursday afternoon, the next morning Ken came out to take a look at it. He was very friendly and very professional. He fixed my toilet with no problem. Told me to look at it, and kept flushing it to make sure the pipes and toilet was clear of any foreign objects, and working properly. The price was very reasonable. Thank you so much for all of your help. I will definitely use this company again, and refer to my neighbors and friends.

$342.00 to change one washer in the hot water knob of my tub to stop a leaky faucet. Way over priced for the work. Part is about .50 cents. Not happy. Feel like I've been taken advantage of. Only good thing is leak is stopped.

Came right out on a Saturday when I called. Was able to get a job completed right before a Holiday. Stephen was professional, courteous and prompt. I appreciated doing business with him. Definitely recommend.

I've used these guys several times.  While nobody likes the added expense of needing a plumber, I've found them to be fair and honest.  At least 3 different guys have been sent to our house - all have been competent, courteous, timely, and helpful.  I highly recommend them.

They are real blood sucker. Spent less than 4 hours at my house and charge us 600 bucks.

Don't be fooled by his low prices and the promise that he won't charge if he can't do anything.  He charged me $40 and claimed he opened the sewer 'half-way'.  I was too sick to double-check.  The truth is, he left the back door to my house unlocked, the cap is missing from the clean-out drain, and the clean-out drain has been moved to the center of the room.  I can no longer use any part of my plumbing.  IT'S MUCH WORSE!
Oh, and he was very, very rude.

Too Late, We Got Your Money...
Gas valve handle on our fire place was sticking out too far, thought I needed to move the gas line so called Thornton & Grooms and explained I probably needed a gas line moved. Tech came out, told him I thought I needed a gas line moved. He inspected it and quoted $330+ to do the work, screwed in the collar for the handle but did not open or move any gas line, was done in less than 10 minutes and left.
The tech forgot to tell me that all he was going to do for $330 was turn a collar a few times because then I would have just paid him the service call and done it myself.
What's particularly frustrating is that the tech's service report shows what he did, and it took 2 calls to the office before they even looked at the report.
Then their response to me was that it was too late.
I have run into bad techs in the past but their company's management has always made it right.
Thornton & Grooms seems to know they have dishonest techs and they take advantage of it.
I would strongly recommend everyone AGAINST USING Thornton & Grooms.

I needed the pipe from my sump pump replaced.  Pretty straightforward job.  Maybe 1 to 2 hours of labor and approx. $20 to $30 in materials.I was happy with the professionalism of how they set up their appointments and notified me by text that Kevin the plumber was on his way.  He looked things over and diagnosed the problem very quickly.  He was very pleasant and courteous.  He told me that he would go out to his truck and formulate a quote for me.  I had a figure of about $400 in my head. Kevin came back with a quote for $600.
I was a a little taken aback by this quote, but decided that I wanted to get the repair over with, because I had sold the house and needed to get the repair done before closing. I told Kevin to go ahead with the work, and he told me that he would be back in two days to get it done.  This gave me time to think, and I decided that I was being ripped off.
I called another plumber.  He gave me the same diagnosis as Kevin, however his quote was $400 less than the quote from Kevin at Hoover.
Needless to say I cancelled my appointment with Hoover.
This is really unbelievable, because I am a returning customer.  I've worked with Hoover twice before.  Apparently Hoover doesn't understand the the cost of customer acquisition or the 80-20 rule that I teach in my marketing classes.  80% of your business comes from 20% of your customers, and those 20% are your returning customers.  Hoover just lost one member of their 20%.

In July of this year we had an incident with our furnace. Within 3 days we had a new furnace and central air unit. The installers were amazing and everything went very smoothly or so we thought. Needless to say it became an insurance claim and were told at the time that we wouldn't have to deal with a thing- everything will be handled between the insurance company and reliance. We are still trying to get the bill from Reliance so we can pay  it in full. We have made numerous phone calls and got nothing but promises that we will be receiving the bill. In the meantime they want to charge us rental on the units. I've never received such poor customer service from such a company. One customer service person actually wanted to know what I did with the old equipment . If I could give them less than 1 star I would as my issue is still ongoing.
