Best A/C Repair in Detroit MI
This company is great to work with. They were quick/easy to make an appointment to come out and their prices were very reasonable. I appreciated him taking the time to explain exactly what he'd be doing.

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Mike went the same day, got his equipment down there and worked on the drain until he got it freed up. excellent communication. great pricing and incredible service. thanks Mike. I appreciate the excellent service.

I had a drain issue I needed fixed in my house. I had another plumber out to my house and he didn't fix it. Nelson Bros. gave me same day service when I called. The tech called and let me know his ETA. The problem was diagnosed and the repair was verified. I got a 30 day warranty on the job. I considered the price reasonable. Based on my experience I would recommend them.

We had a clogged toilet, and called a few places before finding Mitch. At other places, I either got a voice mail (didn't leave a message), or they were only sending someone out hours from when we called (I called at 9:00 am). Mitch answered the phone himself, and came out within 30 minutes (or not even)! What a lifesaver! We had it fixed within the hour of calling him, and I'm now on my way to another appointment I have for the morning. He's not only fast, but also very friendly as well. Highly recommend him!

Great service fair price and I would highly recommend them to anyone who likes good quality and efficient service at a good price! 5 stars!!!!!

I called on Sunday nite, Micheal pick up took my info and said there is diagnostic
/service fee of $39.95. He said the person doing the estimate will call between 10a-12p for the next day. I was waiting for the call but I never receive one by noon so called again. Michael said he would call me back since he needed to contact the plumber on his eta. A few minutes pass by then I get a call saying he is running late by 30 minutes. I rush home to get thing ready. Just to find out that it was later then expected and the plumber called saying on what street he was on. The van was not marked and Brandon politely introduce himself. I showed him where the rusted out sewage pipe is leaking from that need replacing. He wanted to see the upstairs bathroom and attic space to figure out an accurate estimate to give. I had to remove a couple stuff in the attic since he wanted to see and he offered to help.He wasn't able to see still because the paneling in the attic. Through out this Brandon was very talkative. 15 minutes to look over plumbing. Took about 45 min to get it written out since he gave three estimates and said he would give me a deal. All in all it was informative but the pipe I need replace was in a tight spot and he mention that they weren't responsible if something else gets damaged. I was like mmm. So I paid the diagnostic fee.

The response time to our request was quick. The team showed up at the scheduled time. Communication was great. The job was done well for the quoted price. The additional problem we didn't know we had was identified and repaired well, in the time the Brock team committed to and at a fair price.

Commercial grade disposal stopped working and I called Birmingham plumbing. They came recommended. What a joke!
Basically, a 30 minute diagnostic check cost $205 and the thing still isn't working. He quoted me $450-500 if he had to work on it. The service guy didn't even remove the unit to check it....in fact, he never took a tool out. Sat and watched it from above. Blamed the issue on something so ridiculous, it made no sense. That's what $205 got me. What would $450 get me?
Oh boy!
He did quote me $5,000 on a new unit. Really? No closer to resolving the issue, wasted my time, money and he had no intentions of doing anything further than come up with an excuse so he could leave.
I guess Birmingham Plumbing charges Birmingham prices. Hey guys, what about customer service and doing what your supposed to do....WORK!

I LOVE Anytime Plumbing. Our plumbing problems always seem to occur on the weekend or holiday, and we've had several non-emergency blockages in the last few months. They have always come out the same day, or the next day if I called and did the job. They evaluated why we were having so many blockages by running a camera down our main line, and recommended hydro-washing due to excessive buildup and lots of eggshells that didn't make it out to our septic tank. (We've lived here 38 years and never had the pipes hydro-washed) We had that done, and encountered another blockage later in the month. They came out within hours, snaked it and they didn't charge me for clearing that one - they also used the camera again to discover that part of the pipe in the main line had deterioriated. We're waiting before we have that taken care of, but they agreed to credit us the full cost of the hydrowashing when we finally get that done. The technicians are always polite and take the time to explain the problem and make suggestions to prevent future problems. Highly recommend them!

My only criticism it that they wanted $400 to install a dishwasher....no thanks.
Installed it our selves, took a couple hours...but we saved $400
In fairness I think they do good work and they have a right to charge whatever they want..... but IMO way over-priced....

It saddens me to be giving this company a 2-star rating. This was my experience.
I needed an electrician to remove a wall fan, venting my kitchen to the outside. I yelped an electrician, and got 5 added quotes from Yelp. Darin, the owner of Burton HVAC, was the very first response, and he gave me a low-ball quote of $85 fixed rate.
Well, they weren't rated on yelp, and had zero reviews. Their page said they had been in business for 19 years, and had electricians on staff, among others, so I decided to try googling the company to see if I could find anything else out about them. They had 5 5-star ratings on google. This being said, I assumed they were trying to increase their presence on yelp, by taking a loss on a few projects in order to get some 5-star reviews here. So, I decided to give them a try.
I called the number given in Darin's response, only to be met with Hello. It took me aback, and I had to ask twice if I was reaching Burton HVAC. I was, and Darin said he could come straight over! Unfortunately, it was a Wednesday or Thursday when I called, and I told him I would not be available until the following week. He could choose his date and time to visit, but it couldn't be Monday. Darin told me Tuesday at 1pm would work for him, so I put his visit on my calendar. He also asked me to text him my name, address, and the time and date of the appointment so he could add it to his calendar later.
On Monday, I received an invoice via text for the services he was going to provide. I've never been billed before meeting the service provider before. And on Tuesday at 11:47am, I received a text message saying that my appointment at 1pm was 'coming up'.
At 1pm, my son took our dog and left the house for an hour trying to get him out of the way during the service call. No one had arrived at that point. At 2pm, my son came home from lunch with our dog, and was surprised to see the fan still in the wall. I had not received a phone call or any communication from Burton HVAC at this point.
I texted Darin and said Weren't you supposed to be at my house at 1pm today? His response was Yes I was sending a technician your way and he should have been there at 1:00, let me see what's going on.
Darin called me 10 minutes later to tell me his technician was working on a job that was running over, and he still needed to do another job after that before he could see me! He then stated that he would just come over himself to do the work. I said that would be fine, and then he told me that it would be another 2 to 4 hours before he could make it to my house. I clarified with him that it meant he would be arriving at my house sometime between 4pm and 6pm. Darin then asked if I would like to be kept in the loop, and I told him Yes! Please let me know what is going on.
Well, 4pm came and went, 5pm came and went, and 6pm came and went, and STILL no contact from Darin or anyone at Burton HVAC.
At 6:24pm Darin texted. It read Okay if it's not too late I'll be heading your way. That will put me there at about 7:30
My husband was home, and was definitely not happy with the way things were going, but at that point I just wanted the work done. I was not confident that the guy would be able to be on time on any other day, and I didn't want to waste another 7 or 8 hours waiting again, so I told him We'll be here. And he responded with On my way!
Well, as you can guess, 7:30pm came and went without word from Darin. At 8:04pm, Darin texted I'm about 5 minutes away. He arrived by about 8:15pm... for a 1pm appointment.
Darin and his co-worker were very nice. They were obviously having a long day, but still trying to do the best job they could. I realized after they arrived that (I'm 99.9% sure) neither one of them were electricians.
They worked really hard to remove the fan from the wall of my house. It was in there good. Then, they just cut and capped the live electrical wires and dropped them in the wall of my house! An electrician would have known that doing that is a violation of building codes. My husband knew it, but at the time, I did not.
Anyway, the two gentlemen both worked hard while at my house. The fan is removed. They even put a towel in the hole and taped a bag over the opening to keep bugs, etc. out until we can have the gap sealed properly.
After they left, I returned a microwave cart to the area below the fan, and plugged it into the electrical receptacle there. After their visit, there is now no power to that receptacle. We now need to have another electrician come out to properly remove the electrical wires in the wall and fix the outlet for our microwave.
I feel Darin bit off more than he could chew with my job. He needed to send an electrician & if one wasn't available, he should have rescheduled. Or perhaps he should have never quoted my job in the first place.

Worst service ever! Over priced! Racist!
I had them come out to check an issue. They practically force me into service, charged $320 just for trying to fix the problem. (NO THEY DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM) Once, Blake, the plumber seen I didn't have cash to pay him (the money was on my card) he started tripping and saying You black mfs trying to play me like I wasn't getting my card to pay him! It was very uncalled for! I felt very disrespected! I have a recording of his disrespect and everything. Very racist company!

It was an eye opening experience. I was very impressed with customer care and tech (Brian). They both were very knowledgeable and skilled. As a company they are full of bells and whistles (BS!) to impress you (frequent phone calls and texts for updates). Their associate arrived looked at the unit for 10 min and made his diagnosis and told me repair cost would be 408$. I asked him for split ( Part + labor). His response was, we don't do it that way, we have flat rates. But to convince me on cost he mentioned that we install high quality, Made in America parts and it comes with 1 year warranty. Since he didn't provide me split, I just pulled my phone and out an looked for part online. I was SHOCKED at the price!!!! This part costs 65$ (at Walmart, Home depot and Lowe's), installations is as easy as plugging hair dryer in wall and they are charging 408 for that!
On top of that somehow service/vist charge is not included in their 408$ (reminder, part cost 65 with 5 minutes to install). Even though, they are going to make repair in the same visit still service is not included in 408. So total I was looking at 477 (408$+69 service fee) for 65$ part and 5 min installation. In and effort to convince me, tech mentioned that you can do it yourself but that won't come year with 1 year warranty. I just laughed on that (in my head). Just with basic math. For 477 I am covered for 7 parts and each part comes with 2 year manufacturer warranty so I am looking at 14 years!! of warranty and even with dumb luck if part keep failing on me I can replace it 7 times in that cost. Thorton and Grooms please try to come up with cost that you can at least defend and justify to your customers when they ask you a question. Disappointing experience (Kind of funny! I had good laugh about that Thorton and Grooms thinks it is that easy to fool people)

Their prices are very high, found them through Home Depot. They said they are high because they guarantee everything but don't most business do that? Plus, they put in a hot water heater for us and put a huge company sticker on our furnace which we did not buy from or had serviced from them????? I tried to peel it off and am still working on it. They also put their sticker on the Hot Water Tank but that is understandable. HWT is working fine, no complaints about actual service.

I purchased a new furnace and AC unit from Reliance 3 years ago and tonight was my sixth service call. Every winter the furnace fails to start up and every spring the AC unit doesnt work. At least this technician was honest - he admitted he didnt know what the problem is or how to fix it. He also admitted that the technicians are not trained to properly fix some of the product that Reliance sells to its customers. Last month it took 3 different technicians over a week to fix the furnace (each one ordered the wrong parts). I spoke to their customer service manager to get a credit or to just replace the equipment and she still hasnt gotten back to me. Stay away from Reliance!!!!!!
