Best A/C Repair in Detroit MI
Billy arrived on time after a confirmation call from the dispatch. I could not give a confirmation on the job due to a complicated situation. Billy was very upfront and honest about what needed to be done. I needed him to write a detailed estimate for parts and labor. This is NOT commonly done in the industry. He was the only one who was able to do that. Felt like I owed him a beer or two. He didnt have to do that. In fact, 2 other plumbing companies didnt even bother to write up an estimate the way I need it. The fact that Billy listened to my plea earns him and the company high marks.
You should give company a shot at your plumbing needs for sure. Thank you Billy.

I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Mike went the same day, got his equipment down there and worked on the drain until he got it freed up. excellent communication. great pricing and incredible service. thanks Mike. I appreciate the excellent service.

If I could give them 0 (zero) stars I would. Had dealt with them multiple times out of necessity. Never felt like a paying customer but more like a burden. Last time I called the guy even hung up on me. If you want a more capable plumber at a more affordable rate, there's plenty on Yelp. Two thumbs down for this company.

Bob was truly wonderful. He repaired my garbage disposal and two toilet tanks, and went out of his way to get the parts that he didn't have to make sure everything was fixed today -- and so I wouldn't have to replace anything that could be fixed. He could not find parking because of major construction on my street, but he didn't give up. He also didn't mind sharing some information about what he was doing, so I even learned something about plumbing today.
It was great to meet someone who in addition to being a real professional, is also kind, thoughtful, and someone I can trust.
Their pricing was also very fair.
A brief side note -- I ran into a few obstacles in the process of making the appointment: (1) I didn't hear back for a few days after I left my first message, (2) The people who answered the phone on the main line were not able to be all that helpful when I called back, regarding the appointment and on the day of when Bob was running late (due to construction and parking problems). When I called Mitch directly though, he was immediately available and explained the situation.
So if you happen to run into a few minor issues with communication -- I think it's worth sticking to this company because their service in the end is excellent.

Quick response to my backed up floor drains and kept coming back until the problem was solved.

Tried to price gouge me last Saturday on a water heater malfunction that they installed 7 months ago. Said I needed a thermocoupler but the pilot tube was actually cracked. I needed a whole new water heater which was warrantied by the manufacturer but I had to have another plumber come out because this plumber left because I wouldn't pay him 400 dollars to install a new thermocoupler. Not professional, safe, or customer service oriented. Note the plumber just called concerning this review. He called my husband a liar and threatened to come over to our house because he only lives a couple blocks away to kick my b@@ch a$$ husband's butt. Very unprofessional and threatening

I called on Sunday nite, Micheal pick up took my info and said there is diagnostic
/service fee of $39.95. He said the person doing the estimate will call between 10a-12p for the next day. I was waiting for the call but I never receive one by noon so called again. Michael said he would call me back since he needed to contact the plumber on his eta. A few minutes pass by then I get a call saying he is running late by 30 minutes. I rush home to get thing ready. Just to find out that it was later then expected and the plumber called saying on what street he was on. The van was not marked and Brandon politely introduce himself. I showed him where the rusted out sewage pipe is leaking from that need replacing. He wanted to see the upstairs bathroom and attic space to figure out an accurate estimate to give. I had to remove a couple stuff in the attic since he wanted to see and he offered to help.He wasn't able to see still because the paneling in the attic. Through out this Brandon was very talkative. 15 minutes to look over plumbing. Took about 45 min to get it written out since he gave three estimates and said he would give me a deal. All in all it was informative but the pipe I need replace was in a tight spot and he mention that they weren't responsible if something else gets damaged. I was like mmm. So I paid the diagnostic fee.

Our kitchen drain deep behind a wall had backed up and was leaking dirty water in our basement. This was only a week from Thanksgiving which we were hosting. Needlessly to say we were freaked out. To make matters worse very few plumbers were available. We called around and were referred to Brock Mechanical. They sent Ken Jackson out to us the same day we called, while other plumbers were telling us they weren't available until after Thanksgiving. Ken assessed the situation and came up with a elegant solution which avoid tearing up walls right before the big holiday. As promised he came back two days later and implemented the elegant solution in a matter of a few hours. He went above and beyond the job he was requested to do, by noticing our kitchen faucet was running slow and cleaned it out as best he could. They charged us a reasonable amount and I don't have to repair a torn up wall right before Thanksgiving. I can't recommend Brock Mechanical enough for all plumbing needs.

Don't call these people on a weekend. They will send a young plimber with an attitude who just wants a quick fix and extras. When I inquired about a running toilet he told me the flush mechanism was out of date and he wanted to install an electric one with a button on the wall.

I LOVE Anytime Plumbing. Our plumbing problems always seem to occur on the weekend or holiday, and we've had several non-emergency blockages in the last few months. They have always come out the same day, or the next day if I called and did the job. They evaluated why we were having so many blockages by running a camera down our main line, and recommended hydro-washing due to excessive buildup and lots of eggshells that didn't make it out to our septic tank. (We've lived here 38 years and never had the pipes hydro-washed) We had that done, and encountered another blockage later in the month. They came out within hours, snaked it and they didn't charge me for clearing that one - they also used the camera again to discover that part of the pipe in the main line had deterioriated. We're waiting before we have that taken care of, but they agreed to credit us the full cost of the hydrowashing when we finally get that done. The technicians are always polite and take the time to explain the problem and make suggestions to prevent future problems. Highly recommend them!

My only criticism it that they wanted $400 to install a dishwasher....no thanks.
Installed it our selves, took a couple hours...but we saved $400
In fairness I think they do good work and they have a right to charge whatever they want..... but IMO way over-priced....

Darin was responsive, honest, and fixed my AC unit quickly at a very reasonable price. I appreciated his candid and friendly demeanor. He invited me to stay to watch he and his apprentice repair the unit which allowed me to understand the issues that was causing the malfunction.
I was so impressed with his work that I will be getting my furnace and AC units maintenanced from Burton HVAC every spring and fall.
Highly recommend you giving Darin a call.

Never use this business.
Long story short;
We had a garbage disposal leak that ruined our bottom cabinet and laminate floor in December. Roto-Rooter came out, took up the floor, took out the damaged cabinet and all other bottom cabinets to properly dry up the moisture. Instead of storing the undamaged cabinets like they were supposed to, they left them in our driveway for 4 days to be ruined by rain. After months of trying to get AAA to now pay for the remaining bottom cabinets they originally did not authorize to be replaced and then having to buy our own top cabinets to match we finally have a kitchen 6 months later. After offering to pay Roto Rooter the remaining balance after subtracting the cost from THEM ruining the remaining bottom cabinets, the out of pocket top cabinets and contributing to 6 months of us having no kitchen (eating out virtually all the time, washing dishes in a bathtub etc.) they refused and issued a court summon for their full balance. Also they charged us for an emergency visit with no mention of it prior when we called during business hours and they came out the next day. They also left plenty of rusty nails exposed on our subfloor for us and our animals to step on for a couple months. This is a trash company.

First time homeowners here.
We bought our house fully knowing that the AC was 27 years old and practically ready to explode. We crossed our fingers that we'd make it through the hot summer months into the fall before committing to the desperately-needed upgrade.
It didn't happen. We didn't make it. The AC pooped out on us before we even finished unpacking.
We got quotes from 3 local HVAC companies. Thorton & Grooms stood out from the rest. Before arriving we got a text with some info about our service rep along with a picture so we knew who we were looking out for. While they were ever so slightly higher in price (nothing ridiculous, still very comparable), they took the time to go through the entire system with us. They explained why they were quoting what they were quoting and how it was going to affect our home. We really felt like we were involved from start to finish.
Worth noting- they also had shorter lead times than some of the other local companies by as much as 1-2 weeks. WEEKS. W-e-e-k-s.
On the day of the install, the guys arrived and we showed them where everything was. They got started right away. They were so careful about everything- drop cloths everywhere and bootie covers inside the house. They worked tirelessly from morning to evening, and then they cleaned up without a trace. It was like they were never here.
After everything was installed they ran through it with us and it looked great. We could FEEL the difference immediately.
A few days after the work was done we did have a few questions, and they came back to walk us through and answer them. I appreciate the time that they took come back out and go through it with us. The customer service we have received has been phenomenal.
In light of the COVID-19 situation everyone we have seen in person has worn a mask and kept their distance. We felt perfectly safe having them working on our home.
Thank you T&G team, we appreciate you!

The whole thing was a ripp. Dustin never took water heater apart, was too busy talking non stop. Looked 12. He wasnt even going to do a D&C he never sent actual quote just said $1600 for new water heater. Charged mom n me $281.00 and theres no hot water in a pandemic. We had some hot water and now none. had to wait from 8-5 pm to get a new hot water tank installed. No one showed up or called. Called the office and they sent out an emergency notice to the manager, promised a call. Never received a call from the manager that night or the next day. I even called them 3 times to confirm the appointment the day before and the same day.
