Best Toilet Repair in Columbus OH

This was my second call to them.  The first time, they snaked my drain clean.  This time he fished out a tiny screw from my kitchen disposal.  I have no idea how it got in there but he saved me the cost of replacing it.  Great service!!

Originally the appt was scheduled for Friday @ 9:30.  At 11am I called to see when they would be here.  They called back at 3pm and said that their techs got caught up with jobs that took longer than expected.  They rescheduled for the following Monday.  They showed up on time and had the work completed very quickly with no problems.  Because of the missed appt they took $50 off the work .

Great job! Realistic timeline, helpful when we needed it. We'll absolutely use McDermott again.

After researching and researching and having multiple plumbers to my house to quote what should have been an easy job, Discount Drains not only delivered superior service but also quoted me a fair price.  I had several companies come to my house to quote an easy small sink install with water lines and drain located on the other side of the wall in the basement.  After having several OVER PRICED quotes and one plumber actually show up, cut a huge hole in my wall and decided he wasn't interested, Discount Drains picked up the slack.  Austin came to my house and was dumb founded why another REPUTABLE plumber and plumbing company told me they couldn't do the job.  Three days later, Discount Drains showed up and installed the sink without any issues.  I can't tell you how professional Trevor, the plumber was!  Completed the job in a timely manor, communicated with me and installed the sink and roughed in the pluming with ease.  Can't say enough of my experience.  If you are looking for a quality company that will not price gouge you, call these guys.  TRUST ME, I called all the other guys in the Columbus, OH area!  Thanks Discount Drains.

Very pleased with the work that was done.  Courteous and professional service.  Requested service for a leaking showerhead in the master bathroom.  I purchased parts myself to repair, but the screw holding the handle had corroded and I stripped it to a point where there was nothing to grab onto.  Frustrated I finally decided to seek professional help and I got it with A. Mann Plumbing.  Nick came out to my house about 10 minutes before the schedule appointment and was in and out within 30 minutes. He was able to get the shower faucet handle off and still keep it in tact.  He was also able to find a replacement screw in his truck to put the handle back on.

I was thrilled that he was more than willing to use the parts I had purchased and install them himself.  I was able to save money by not having to purchase a new handle since he did a great job of removing it and I didn't have to buy new parts to fix the leak.  So much thanks to A. Mann Plumbing for that.

I also appreciate they were able to give me a scheduled appointment time.  I had an appointment scheduled with another company, but they were only able to provide me a 5 hour window.  A. Mann even called me the day before to ask if I wanted to move my appointment up to then, but I wouldn't have been able to make it home in time.

If ever the term singing their praises needed to be taken literally, now is the time.  I am so incredibly impressed and pleased with this company, let me go back 24 hours to explain.

After two weeks of calling around and fighting with other issues, I saw Plumbing One in the Comments section of another home improvement store.  Our water heater failed and with funds as tight as they were, we were particular about the price we were going to pay for the replacement and the cost of installing it.  When I called PO, they (Tom) was quick to answer my questions and, although he was actually on assignment in the field, promised to get the information for what he couldn't quote ASAP and call me back.  He did, within 5 minutes.

Not only was it possible to have it installed this morning, but the price he quoted was half as much as some of these other so-called credible companies.  To make things better, his was a one-time fee versus other per hour rates.  The conundrum now was the need to actually GET the water heater, since we hadn't anticipated the readiness.

He and I spoke several times, as my window of opportunity to lock a next-day appointment was closing.  To make things tougher, when I went to purchase the heater, the (NON)sale price went up $100+.  

After waiting over 15 minutes for assistance that we never received, we walked out and drove to the competition and found a better deal.  Sadly, after we got the item home (I hauled it myself), we realized it was too late to get it done before the weekend and would have to wait until Monday (what's three more days of cold showers and boiling water for cleaning?).

Well, here's the real surprise.  I got a call at 8:03 this morning from servicemen Ron & Tyler, who were in the area and willing to install it IMMEDIATELY or Monday, whichever I preferred.

Do I even need to tell you my answer?

90 minutes later, we were signing the invoice and patiently waiting for them to leave so they wouldn't have to witness the 4-person Fight Zone single-elimination event to see who would be the first two in the hot showers!

Not only do I swear by their excellent service and business acumen, I give an additional hoorah because they managed this despite the recent fire damage to their business, which has supposedly impacted their efficiency...

...not that you'd know it.

I have other upcoming plumbing needs and I already know who I'll be contacting.  I guess it's only appropriate that there motto is, The One To Call.

I needed a cast iron sewage stack replaced in my basement.  They did good work and are priced reasonably.

Great service. Basically provided a consult via phone (and text pictures) to ensure they knew the problem before arriving, and that they would show up with the correct parts. They dispatched a technician only a few hours after I called, despite it not being an emergency. Technician was masked up, professional, and resolved the problem quickly. Highly recommended.

John and dion did a wonderful and quick job when replacing our home's hot water tank. I sent him a text with a few pictures of my hot water heater. He gave me a quote and the days he was available and viola!!! new hot water heater was installed. My husband who was present during the install said they were friendly and professional. Since our hot water heater is tucked away in a small space in our laundry room John had to re-pipe and some maneuvering to get the hot water tank in place. He did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for my other plumbing needs.  I thought his prices were fair! Thanks again!!!

I've used Amanda plumbing twice and been very satisfied both times. The service is excellent and price is fair. I'm not a fan of having emergency plumbing work done but these guys make it a little easier to take.

Chris has replaced all the pipes in my entire house and snakes my main drain line yearly. He is always on time, professional, and does great work. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We are owners of a property that is located 524 miles from where we live. It needed some work so I started googling. I had called a few other businesses but Apex's response time was almost immediate and with a fair price. The work was completed in a timely manner and the property has now been rented. Thanks Apex.

Extremely efficient and prompt.  I did not like there car sales approach to upgrade everything for 5000$.

We called twice to have our sump pump replaced and both times we were told it was fine. Both times the basement flooded after we were told it was fine and it had failed. Then, a temporary drain pipe was ran out the basement window. No one came to look at it for another seven days. (we had to call and remind them) Then, they didn't do anything, barely looked at it and told me it would be another 3 days to get an estimate and from there set an appointment to fix it. Meanwhile, my back yard is flooded from the temporary drain and vermin are given free access to my basement. I will NEVER use this provider again! Avoid the incompetence and save yourself a headache!

I've used Mr. Handyman for 3 different projects at my house and there is a reason I keep coming back. When the stairs to my front porch started deteriorating, I had a tough time trying to find a decking company to rebuild them since it was a smaller project. Mr. Handyman came out and had it completed in a day. The next call came when someone broke into my garage (detached), ruining the entry door. When they found out I couldn't close or lock the door because of the damage, they came out the next day, sured up the frame, and made the door lockable. After that, they replaced the door, anded a security door, installed my Ring surveillance light and wired the garage with more outlets. And this past time, they came to the rescue when another company accidentally tore out my back porch.

The staff is incredibly kind and communicative. The quality of the work is top notch and I always feel informed. They aren't the cheapest, but they actually show up and do the work. After scheduling with a few other companies, I'm willing to pay the premium for the work to be done well and on time. There are instances where it'd be more cost effective to use a specialized company, especially for big projects. But if you're like me and not really handy at all, these folks are great.

When I called A. Friend Plumbing the person (Beth) that answered the was friendly and courteous and Dave the plumber was prompt and knowledgeable. The price was well worth the job. I have found a new plumber.

Amazing! We had a basement flood after the insane amounts of rain last week! We thought the sump pump was working fine and that it was some other piping issue, and called Weeks. Turns out it was caused by the sump pump. Even though they had a ton of calls that day, they were out within an hour. They were extremely knowledgeable, and had it fixed in less than an hour! They didn't even rip us off! Will definitely be calling Weeks for any other plumbing issues in our he future!
