Best A/C Installation in Columbus OH

Originally the appt was scheduled for Friday @ 9:30.  At 11am I called to see when they would be here.  They called back at 3pm and said that their techs got caught up with jobs that took longer than expected.  They rescheduled for the following Monday.  They showed up on time and had the work completed very quickly with no problems.  Because of the missed appt they took $50 off the work .

I called to get a quote on a service and got a call back the very same day and scheduled the work for the next day. The price came in lower than expected and Sam was only at the house for 30 min. Exceeded my expectations for a plumbing service. Called another local provider and was told the service window was pushed out 2 weeks.

Replaced gas water heater, great price, super knowledgeable. Mike clearly knows his product and answered all sorts of questions. Highly recommended unless you want to pay more and get less somewhere else.

I had a great experience with this company throughout the process.    I was impressed (and grateful) they could be here the next day, even though I called in the early evening.  Taylor was great.  He talked through all of the possibilities, was thorough, and solved the problem.  I highly recommend Discount Drains.

Great service. Basically provided a consult via phone (and text pictures) to ensure they knew the problem before arriving, and that they would show up with the correct parts. They dispatched a technician only a few hours after I called, despite it not being an emergency. Technician was masked up, professional, and resolved the problem quickly. Highly recommended.

John & his son came to install a new water line for a new refrigerator that's being delivered soon. John was polite, clean & takes pics of all of his work. It took very little time & his charge was less than his estimate! He's also available to take electronic payment for his work, so that makes it easy as well.

Since moving to the Delaware area five years ago, I have had five experiences with Amanda Plumbing, three of which were emergency call-outs. In each case, their rep arrived quickly - most recently, within ten minutes! - was very thorough, totally professional, and cleaned up everything before leaving. Each one explained what was needed before proceeding, and showed me the completed work. Water leak sensor detected flooding from my 18 year old water heater at about 11:30pm on a Wednesday night. Called Ohio Water Heaters and they had a new water heater on site and installed by 10am the following morning.

We are owners of a property that is located 524 miles from where we live. It needed some work so I started googling. I had called a few other businesses but Apex's response time was almost immediate and with a fair price. The work was completed in a timely manner and the property has now been rented. Thanks Apex.

Received next day service.  Technician (Travis) kept clean work space and very knowledgable as he presented options for repairs (had 4). I elected to make 2 of the 4 repairs.  Both are working better now than when item was new/ new to me.

Use caution and get a second opinion when dealing with this business!

I contacted Mr. Handyman of East Columbus, New Albany and Gahanna get an estimate to have a 10 square foot bathroom shower floor retiled. I was asked to send in a picture of the floor, which I did. Much to my shock, the estimate came back as a three-day job for $6,000 - $7,000!!!! I was told that they'd have to tear up the shower step-in, the tub underneath the tile and the subfloor. I said that I only wanted to have the tile redone and their response was that it was the same price as they were planning on having to rip out the subfloor (and all this from a picture!). I asked if they charged $1,500/hour and was told that they don't charge by the hour, they charge by the job.

I just had a professional tiler look at the shower floor, and he estimated the job at $250. Quite a difference! Just to be sure I was comparing apples to apples, I asked him about the tub underneath the tile as well as the subfloor. He said that there was no need to touch any of that and went on to say that there's a special glue that can be used to overlay the new tile on top of the old tile. The gentleman I am now dealing with has been a tile installer for 30+ years and comes highly recommended by several people I know. Care to guess who I'll be going with?

My entire exchange with Mr. Handyman of East Columbus, New Albany and Gahanna was done via texting, so I have a written copy of it all. I'm not sure what would possess someone to quote a job that is 2,400% - 2,800% higher than normal, but it only takes a couple of uninformed customers to make these ludicrous prices pay off.

We called twice to have our sump pump replaced and both times we were told it was fine. Both times the basement flooded after we were told it was fine and it had failed. Then, a temporary drain pipe was ran out the basement window. No one came to look at it for another seven days. (we had to call and remind them) Then, they didn't do anything, barely looked at it and told me it would be another 3 days to get an estimate and from there set an appointment to fix it. Meanwhile, my back yard is flooded from the temporary drain and vermin are given free access to my basement. I will NEVER use this provider again! Avoid the incompetence and save yourself a headache!

My husband and I had a leaky faucet  in our bathtub. A. Friend Plumbing was able to come next day to fix it. We weren't able to be home at the time, and gave him permission to enter. He did a fantastic job and left no mess. The only suggestion I would make is to have him leave a note describing what he did if the homeowner isn't home.
