this is the 2nd time in as many days using his services. he prompt, reasonable. I highly recommend him.

I had CSR come out to do a hydrojetting on my main line as a previous plumbing company said it was 70% blocked/clogged. CSR had better reviews and pricing so I decided to have them come out and do it. Upon arrival Vincent and Alan were very upfront and friendly and let me know exactly what they were going to do. They were all set up within 5 minutes and had me come out to inspect drains with them while they did camera inspection to see extent of clog. Previous plumbing company Anderson plumbing was out 2 months prior and never had me come out to inspect lines or gave me any video footage. Just told me line was 70% clogged/blocked and the hydrojetting was going to have to be done and that it would cost over $1000 bucks. Vincent and Alan from CSR wanted me to see drains with them so I knew what was going on. Drain had absolutely no clog! 0% was blocked. Vincent and Alan were super professional and made sure they checked everything before they left. I will definitely recommend CSR to everyone now!

David came out to install my RO 5 stage system.  David did a fantastic job.  He was thorough and meticulous when installing the system.  The service is top notch and the price was very competitive. I highly recommend them for any water filtration system. I had been shopping around and comparing prices.  I am very happy with the service.

I called around asking for help with a clogged kitchen drain that had an obstruction past the p trap. I called 6 vendors within my area since we support local business and just as I was about to give up and give in to a big box chain, I got to Joe. For specialized services like plumbing, you are paying for the experience and education the person received, not to mention the license, bond, insurance and equipment. Most of the referrals I received were word of mouth, and most likely not licensed since I could not find any other information about these other businesses other than anecdotal evidence.
After my wife spoke to Joe on a Saturday, he promptly scheduled a next day Sunday call realizing our immediate need. He was very realistic in his estimation over the phone, after all, he was only hearing the issue sight unseen. When he arrived, I was greeted by a smiling, happy person, which, in previous experiences usually resulted in mixed feelings regarding their confidence and ability to work with us as customers, but more importantly as people.
The first thing he did before entering our home was put on booties to respect our living space, classy move! He was very honest and knowledgeable regarding the issue we had with our drain. He explained the method in which he would remove the obstruction and told us what to expect after the obstruction was removed. Everything he said was on point and correct. He didn't oversell and under deliver. He was also open to looking at anything else we had some issues with and made some corrective suggestions which he didn't force upon us. When we are ready to take these corrective actions, rest assured we will go with Joe Garcia at Above and beyond Drains and Plumbing.
Joe takes the guess work out of solving your issue. His rates are competitive, and he is an honest man. Most businesses will try and earn your business while at the same time capitalizing on your misfortune. The impression I received from Joe is that he is there to provide his customers with excellent customer service and will not take advantage of people in need. He is the type of person that goes above and beyond by developing business relationships with his customers so that he could create repeat business through the trust and rapport he tries to build when providing his services. I don't normally write reviews unless I feel the experience may help others. Take a chance on Joe for all of your plumbing needs. We had plumbing issues arise suddenly and ASAP was able to arrange an appointment within 24 hours. Sebastian came to the rescue and was professional, efficient, and very personable. I will definitely be using this company again and requesting Sebastian.

Recently we had a slab leak in our house, and determined that a full repipe was necessary. After receiving bids from numerous repipe companies in the San Diego area, we decided to go with Ameri-Cal for a few key reasons:
1) Price. The bid from Ameri-Cal was comprehensive - new Uponor PEX pipes with a 25 year warranty, all new hose bibs, pressure regulator, drywall patch and texture, and stucco patch, and they still came in at the lowest price. All the
2) Track record. They are licensed, bonded, and insured, but don't let the low number of Yelp reviews for their Carlsbad office concern you - their main office is up in Buena Park, and they have over 150 five-star reviews. They also specialize in repiping.
3) Ease of communication. I asked for a quote over Yelp and was connected with their associate Toby, who was friendly, straightforward, and responsive over Yelp message and text. He was able to give a quote over text message rather than having to schedule a visit, which made the process much easier. I had a lot of questions both before and during the repipe process, and he was always quick to respond and professionally courteous.

The repipe took one day to install the pipes (8am-4pm) and one day the following week for the drywall and stucco patch (9am-3pm or so) and went very smoothly. They utilized our attic (1 story home) to route the new pipes, requiring minimal holes in the bathroom and kitchen. They were also able to repipe to the shower valves without requiring new escutcheons, which is great. The new pipes have been functioning well, and the drywall and stucco patch and texture look great. I'm glad I went with Ameri-Cal and would definitely recommend them for repiping.

I was so thrilled with Best Choice Plumbing when they came out to fix a water leak in my downstairs bathroom sink water pipe. . . we had already taken out the wall to find the leak but it was in the back of the narrow copper pipe and we couldn't see it.  Best Choice came out and located it immediately....but as part of their job they didn't stop at fixing the leak with a new pipe section. . . they actually replaced the entire rusted section of cold-water pipes.  i was so happy because I knew that those pipes would leak again in their rusted condition and didn't want to repair the wall.  But Marco their Plumber was so professional he explained that they do that and prefer to do a thorough job and not leave me with just a repair of a bad piping section that was only going to leak again due to rust.  The price was no more than the other quotes I got for just fixing the tiny leak.  I was amazed at how Marco just took charge and knew what had to be done so the entire problem would be fixed for me.  I won't call another Plumber as long as they are in Business.  (and they even worked with me on some extra time on the bill since it was just after Xmas)  Thank you Thank you Best Choice Drain & Plumbing!  You are definitely the Best Choice out there!

I used services of American Ace Plumbing on two occasions and was extremely pleased with the responsiveness, punctuality, quality of job and pricing. Fred Zandian is very helpful and offered a quick diagnosis and course of action for my water heater failure even before I hired him for the service. He gave earliest appointment possible, was on-time, did a thorough job on installation of a new Tankless water heater and addressed all the requests/concerns. I also hired him for a small plumbing job related to dishwasher and experience was equally pleasant. His pricing is very reasonable and he is a man of his word. I would highly recommend American Ace Plumbing!

We have had a drain in the bath tube that had been giving us issues for years and the previous company that came in stopped the leaking (for a while) but didn't resolve the issue with how hard it was to turn the drain on/off.  We simply got used to the inconvenience.  

However, when the guys from Community Plumbing came in they figured out the issue for the leaking right away and also fixed the issue with the on/off mechanism.  Now it is very easy to turn the water on / off.

I really love how friendly and how good of an attitude these guys had.  I definitely recommend them.

I am always impressed with THA - from the initial installation of my new furnace and a/c unit many years ago up to today. The technicians are always very professional and knowledgable and I can count on smooth running of the units. I know that if an emergent situation came up, they would be there.

LB and team responded with urgency to our backed up toilet and main line, and seemed like a friendly enough crew. However, that's where our good experience ends with this company. After an unsuccessful snaking of the line, I believe this company saw a couple of new homeowners and decided to pounce. They not only allowed wastewater to dump into our basement not once, but two times, but also refused cleanup saying that they did not perform that part of the job, leaving it to us to handle. I also believe, seeing our inexperience, that they decided to upcharge everything on us ($1500 for a hydrojet???). If only this had been a non-urgent situation I would have learned better by calling around and talking with other companies. Other companies were shocked and pretty much laughed when I told them the horror story of our experience with this.

They also provided a bid to perform Epoxy lining of our main line which came out to MORE THAN DOUBLE the numerous other companies we got in contact with after we were done with this crew. People are now telling me that the epoxy lining method is the most expensive, quickest job leading to big profit margins for these plumbing companies, so corrupt! They also bid an incomplete solution that would still leave us with work to be performed.

I am incredibly happy to never work with this company again after talking with a number of other highly touted professionals in the area. I'd give it a single star but for the quick response time on the initial call and the friendliness of the techs.

We'll chalk this one up to our inexperience allowing us to get taken advantage of. Discount Plumbing, please do better for your customers in the future, your reputation depends on it.
