Marco and David arrived near 8:30 AM to repipe our hot water into the attic. (I got the best bid from them for repipe to 2.5 areas-- by HUNDREDS(!!) and less destruction than the Pricies, too.)
These guys ROCKED it; pretty much were 'at it' non- stop for 7 + hours. Plan was all was explained; Marco your plan for the replacement pipe was right on!
The idea was to do the least invasive amount of wall cutting but lots of fire blocks throughout. Where they cut they put temp covering after, didn't cut into solid wood kitchen cabs, vacuumed up everything too.
All that was missing was for them to dust up and wash the dishes.
What a great choice, for our job these plumbers were the Best Choice-- Marco and David you are awesome!

I had a gentleman come out to fix a plumbing problem at my Mom's house, boy was he the wrong guy. Lucky for me I found Joe Garcia of Best Choice Plumbing. He came out the next morning, looked at the job and said he would fix the problem, no charge. It does not get any better than that. I called them in the morning and they came out on time right when I scheduled them in the afternoon.  They cleared two drains very quickly, checked their work, and were very upfront about their charges.  I liked their work and how they went about their business so much I scheduled them out for the following day to do some camera work on some storm drains in my backyard - for which their price is $50 less than which I had been quoted by another service.  I'm very happy with their work and will use them again and recommend them to my friends.

At 9 p.m my house began to flood, as my toilets were bubbling and tub was overfilling only when i started to run my washer in the garage. So i turned off all water valves to stop the leak and called Best Choice Drains and Plumbing because they have a 24 hour emergency service. The dispacther told me it would be about an hour before arrival, but Raul Godinez was prompt and arrived at my house in 20 min. He helped go through each room efficiently from top to bottom and from inside the house to outside where my main line was. After payience and great efforts, all the issues were resolved and we havent had any issues! Great conpany, and a Bravo Zulu to Raul for his efforts.

I called about water backed up in the bathtub. They were out within 2 hours and gave me a reasonable flat rate and fixed the problem. Fast and efficient. Thanks! P.S. Marco was awesome!

Mitch came out on time even a little early ! and helped me with a plumbing issue and he helped with other plumbing problems that I added last minute. Very easy to work with! I called them up, told them about my poor attempt to fix the problems myself and they came out for a quote. They stayed true to their word and include a warranty. They even fixed another problem I did not notice at no cost. Pricing was competitive and within my budget.

I found Best Choice through Yelp and thought I would give them a try. When I called on the weekend to make an appt the lady on the phone was extremely helpful.They came out to my house yesterday because I had backed up sinks. Raul was very efficient  and professional. He went over their rates, etc. before he got started. And by the way they have great rates compared to other companies i had called. He didn't waste any time and gave me some tips on maintenance. I would highly recommend them. It's always an uneasy feeling when you have to find a new plumber but this company was excellent. I will definitely be using them again.

The story:  I am in the middle of selling my home when an inspection done by the potential buyer showed that there was an obstruction in the sewage pipe somewhere between the house and the city main. Long story short Kike and Esteban from Best Choice were able to come out and not only determine the exact location of the obstruction (big deal because the location determines whether the city or I as the homeowner am responsible for fixing the issue) but also returned the same day and fixed the problem.
Where a different plumbing service/plumber may have just told me I would need to get permits from the city to blow out a hole on the sidewalk and just left (costing me thousands of dollars). Kike and Esteban were able to clean out the obstruction and even showed me the color video to prove the job had been done completely.

My son's restaurant had a sewer line backup on St Patrick's late at night, our busiest day of the year.  Called a few places and everyone was either busy or not working.  Best Choice sent Jorge Bernal to us within a hour from Chula Vista to Bay Park.  He took a short time to get it all taken care of and put us back in business.  We were happy to pay the night weekend fee to get the problem solved.  Very happy with the service.  Thank you Jorge!

Horrible customer service, they didn't show up to our scheduled appointments a few times, at the end they fixed in 1 hour my problem but left me hanging a whole week! When I would call to find out why they didn't show up to our appointment, the receptionist would argue with me instead of helping!

You can clearly see in the photos I posted, I called on 6/13 at 11:54 am and left a 2 minute message. Yes, your response to my review says I went on a calling frenzy. You're absolutely right. I needed help. I posted bad reviews to multiple plumbers as none of them called me back. Proof of actual service used?  What?  Really. My husband and I rented a snake and did it ourselves. My water heater broke and couldn't be fixed. After making several calls for a new water heater with installation, Best Choice was the most reasonably priced. Their technician Jorge was professional and informative. He explained the water heater functions and parts thoroughly. He quickly had another Best Choice technician come to my residence to assist him with the neat removal and installation of a new water heater on a second floor. Anytime Jorge needed to confirm pricing and extra help, Joe the owner agreed, no extra fees were charged. Best Choice Drains and Plumbing truly is the Best Choice and they're military friendly!

Needed to replace and install 2 new toilets and called home depot as well as bill howe. Both provided prices that were way over my budget. I came upon Best choice due to the high ratings so I called.  I spoke to a woman regarding prices and they were straight forward.  Their prices beat the other competitors and was the best thus far.  They scheduled the installation the following morning.  Robert came in on time and provided the best service.  He completed the work just within 1 1/2 - 2 hours and showed quality in his work.  I will definitely use Best Choice for future services.  Thanks so much to Robert.  I will also highly recommend Robert for the job.

Well I needed a few things done at my home new faucet install leak in the backyard and new needed shower replaced .. This company came in very fast and professional and I could not be happier with the customer service of the technician's. Very respectful and very good work its been over a week since I got everything done and I got to say I love this company this will be my go to company. In the past I used blue planet plumbing and have had issues so I'm glad I found this company because they fixed what the other company couldn't. A plus I told them my water pressure was low and off and now it sprays perfect better then perfect.

New to homeownership, we experienced our first pipes issue and required help immediately. I looked on yelp and discovered extraordinary reviews for Best Choice Drains and Plumbing. I called and talked with the proprietor and within two or three hours he touched base with his help to help us with our pipes crisis. My early thought  was that he was extremely learned and easy to go. They came arranged with a full prepared work truck and shoe spreads to regard within client's homes.
In 30 minutes of work, he had unraveled our issue and went well beyond to rectify whatever else that may have been an issue. He stayed inside his assessment he cited me via telephone and I let him know that he perpetually earned our future business. I had a leak in my bathroom and called Joe the night before and he came out first thing in the morning. He quoted me a price and he went over and beyond what I expected. Very nice guy. I will recommend him to friends and family and will also use him again in the future!

I broke a pipe and needed a plumber to come out ASAP. It was late Saturday night so I knew it would be hard to find a plumber to come help. I called 3 plumbers and got their voicemail. Contacted another plumber and he wanted to charge $90 just to come out for and estimate.  I finally contacted Best Choice and Joe offered to send out a technician free of charge. Brandon arrived around 30 mins later!

We needed to get a special valve that had to be picked up at the specialty plumbing store and they were closed. They offered to come out first thing Sunday morning to fix the issue and gave us a very reasonalble price. As promised, Joe and Brandon showed up on SUNDAY morning at 8am to fix our issue. While fixing the shower valve he noticed my toilet was running water and gave me the part to fix it for free! That is great customer service!

FYI- They also give you a 1 year warranty on the service.

My boyfriend decided to repair our toilet at 8pm on our new house and it turned into a huge disaster! Water was overflowing everywhere and he couldn't manage to stop it. I stumbled across Best Choice on yelp and Angel managed to send someone out within the hour! What a life saver! Raul the plumber was awesome. Very knowledgable and managed to fix the problem very quickly. All in all it took about 2 hours for someone to be sent out and the problem to be fixed. I highly recommend Best Choice. Their pricing was also reasonable for a late night call.

I've used this company 3 times now for 3 different situations & all 3 times they have came thru for me. Honest good people & plumbers, it's hard to find that now a days. There very affordable compared to other plumbers & their work is good. The 3 times I called it was an emergency & all 3 times they get to me right away even on a Saturday. They are on call 24 hours as well.

The last time I used them I called because I had a flood in the bathroom my main water line got backed up because of some roots cracking the pipe. We called & it was a Saturday afternoon, we got KIKI to come & help us. He was there fast & right away he knew what was wrong & was very friendly & gave us different options & talked us thru every decision. He never try to hustle us for more money, he was honest & very helpful. After he fixed our problem he still came back Monday morning to check on us & our situation & even offered a discount if we choose to pick another option to further fix our problem. On a Friday at 3:00 pm we had an emergency when our toilet exploded and left a mess in our office woman's bathroom. We called several plumbing agencies that said they would not be able to respond for 3-4 hours paying no mind that this was an emergency. Best Choice responded within one hour and completed the job efficiently and quickly with no hassle or hesitation. Juan did an excellent job and went above and beyond to explain what he did when the work was complete. Thank you Best Choice for your prompt service and response. I first want to start by saying, I have received no incentive for a review up to this point and I have already paid in full for my initial service which has been completed. That being said, I want to let prospective customers know how happy I am to establish a relationship with this company. Yes, a relationship. From the minute Angel picked up the phone, they went out of their way to provide the best customer service possible. I had a previous company come out to clear my main line and charged me close to $375 for 10 mins of work and no diagnosis of the possible problem. Because they did not have a camera, I chose to contact Best Choice. I needed Best Choice to come out on MEMORIAL DAY for another main line clog emergency, however Angel informed me their camera would not be ready till later on in the week due to maintenance but he would contact me as soon as it was. He apologized and due to the inconvenience, offered me a VERY discounted rate as well as offering to still come out that day and try to clear the main line. I called at noon, and the serviceman arrived by 3 all the way out in Jamul! He cleared the main line in less than 10 minutes and told me they would not charge me until they come back out with the camera. Great way to start. A few days later, they contacted me and told me they were ready to come out. I told them to come out and upon arriving, Marco and his associate had already camera inspected the main line, recorded a DVD of the results and were waiting to explain the results. They showed me in real time what the problem was (Roots) and gave me some possible options. They told me I could take some time to think about it and just to contact them when I was ready. No pressure. Just the problem and a couple of solutions. We settled up and it was around half the price of the original company I had out!! Not only was I impressed by their professionalism and customer service, I felt that they genuinely wanted to do what they could for my situation. They treated me like they would want to be treated. This company was recommended to me by a neighbor when I discovered water damage in my house and needed someone to determine the source of the leak. Marco came out to do the leak detection and did a great job walking me through what he was doing and allowed me to ask questions, I could tell he was a good guy and knowledgeable. I was so thrilled with Best Choice Plumbing when they came out to fix a water leak in my downstairs bathroom sink water pipe. . . we had already taken out the wall to find the leak but it was in the back of the narrow copper pipe and we couldn't see it.  Best Choice came out and located it immediately....but as part of their job they didn't stop at fixing the leak with a new pipe section. . . they actually replaced the entire rusted section of cold-water pipes.  i was so happy because I knew that those pipes would leak again in their rusted condition and didn't want to repair the wall.  But Marco their Plumber was so professional he explained that they do that and prefer to do a thorough job and not leave me with just a repair of a bad piping section that was only going to leak again due to rust.  The price was no more than the other quotes I got for just fixing the tiny leak.  I was amazed at how Marco just took charge and knew what had to be done so the entire problem would be fixed for me.  I won't call another Plumber as long as they are in Business.  (and they even worked with me on some extra time on the bill since it was just after Xmas)  Thank you Thank you Best Choice Drain & Plumbing!  You are definitely the Best Choice out there!

We had an emergency plumbing issue arise on an unexpected weekday night and I am so happy Best Choice Drain and Plumbing came to our rescue! Soon after we called, Raul arrived and was in search of the problem.  Raul was very professional, provided great customer service, and was determined to find the root of the problem. He seemed to be an experienced plumber.  It did not take very long for him to find the issue and began working on fixing it.  Once the problem was fixed he explained the root of the problem and how it can be avoided based on his expertise.  We were satisfied with our service and would recommend Best Choice Drain and Plumbing to family and friends.

I used their services in Sep 2014 to replace the pressure regulator at my house. They tested the system and made sure it was broken and needed to be replaces. they were very good. They showed up on time, they knew what they were doing and finished the job as it was scheduled. Marcos was very professional both in manner and skills. They are the first place I will call next time I need any plumbing services.

I have had a lot of bad luck with my house plumbing. They sent George which was extremely helpful. He spent 3 hours straight sweating and pouring and didn't take a single break. It was a very difficult labor job and now my house is in much better shape.

My life saver!!

I had a terrible experience with another plumbing company so I decided to find a plumber that is VOB (vet owned business), and Best Choice came up as one of the companies in the area to install my new faucet. Called the number and spoke to the owner Angel and narrated the said horrible experience and he solved my problems. He made sure his technician came the very next morning to install my new faucet. Juan was very nice and friendly, and he worked quick! He even explained why those companies were trying to sell their own equipment, it's because those technicians work on commission. Unlike other companies, Best Choice employees work by the hour so they really make sure the customers are happy with their service.

I was just a little shocked when Juan started using a drill to take out my old one though  I'd give them 5 stars however I think he might have messed up my fish tank, because after he left, the lights weren't working right. Otherwise, I've got a good looking kitchen faucet! Thanks Angel and Juan!

I called Best Choice Plumbing to come and unclog my kitchen drain. They left my kitchen cabinet dirty full of grease and sludge all over walls. They dirtied my carpet with their equipment and didn't even bother to clean up after themselves. Honestly it was a horrible choice I did by calling them.

I wanted to take some time to reflect before writing out this review.  On June 23, I had an emergency issue with my toilet.  Of course that is one of the most dreaded and nastiest things to have to deal with depending on the situation.  All the plumbers that I knew from previous calls and references from Facebook that day were busy to the gills with calls.  In my desperation I turned to yelp to find plumbers and read reviews.  After searching for a few I decided on Best Choice Plumbing one of the reasons is they are a veteran owned company.  On my initial call I was greeted by Margarita who said she didn't have anyone available.  After another disappointment, I hung up only for it to ring as soon as I put it down.  It was Margarita who said she had someone available and was sending him my way.  Kiki the plumber showed up at my door.  At first he seemed a bit intimidating, his stature and serious look on his face said he was here to take care of business.  He asked if he could inspect it and then let me know options and the cost if he had to pull out the toilet.  Before he even did that, he was quick to tell me what the 3 things he thought it would be and the roundabout cost depending on what he found after he removed toilet.  Then after he pulled the toilet he was spot on with what he thought it was which was the first thing he said it would be.  He gave me 3 options starting with the least costly and moved up.  He went to go get equipment because the size of the job plus some help whom was Sergio.  I cannot say enough about these 2 guys.  Kiki is one of the best plumbers I have ever met.  Not just his work ethics but his integrity, wonderful personality and smile which came out after he happily completed the job.  Words cannot express enough of how great my experience was with them.   Not only that, Kiki saved me over $3500.  I know that from past plumbing experiences where they want to cut your slab and drill holes.  Kiki was able to take care of it with some type of jet, I think it was Harben Jet which took care of the root intrusion at least for the next 5 years without having to replace, drill, or break anything.  If you are in search of a great ethical company who employs one of the best plumbers who will not only save you money but works as if he is working for one of his own family members, I really, really, really hope you look at Best Choice plumbing and ASK for KIKI!!!

My master bathroom flooded from a gap in the caulking at the base of my toilet two evenings ago. It was very strange because the toilet wasn't cracked and it continued to spew water even after the water to the house was shut off. I called Best Choice because a friend recommended them. I was quite worried and Joe was even keel on the phone which made me relax a bit, and he said he'd come first thing in the morning (because it didn't seem like an emergency since the water stopped coming out). In the morning he removed the toilet and since there was standing water in the drain, he decided to snake it.  However, the line must have had a sharp corner so the snake was not going through. He tried other openings to snake it but to no avail. Since my house is old, there were no clean-outs installed in the yard, so he had to go in through the vent in my roof, which worked! He was finally able to extract the blockage. He re-installed the toilet and even replaced my old supply line and cleaned everything up. Everything went pretty smoothly and methodically and was solved in a couple of hours. He never seemed rushed to get through the job, which was appreciative. And we could tell he genuinely wanted to help and do a good job. We will definitely call Best Choice again for any plumbing problems.

I recently had some major work done with Best Choice. It ended up being a two day project. Normally, having major plumbing work done is incredibly stressful, but Angel and Kiki made my project as smooth as possible. I explained my problems and our long history with a particular issue and they gave me a wide range of options. They were always professional and always timely which is extremely important to me. On the 2nd day of the project my daughter actually had to go to the hospital with serious issues. They were accommodating on both a professional and personal level under these difficult circumstances. Don't hesitate to call them for any project (large or small). ....you will not be disappointed.

I had Angel give me a quote the next morning on a leaky main valve by the street meter. He gave me a fair price and was able get a crew out the same afternoon. The guys were prompt, professional and done within 2 hours! Biggest selling point was the ability to have it done the same day and with a 1 year warranty. My leaky valve was costing me if I left it for days...
These guys are pros, I would use them again for sure.

I decided to call Best Choice based on their YELP reviews and it was a great experience! Marco arrived early and ready. We are selling our home and during the inspection, a leak was found with an infrared camera. Marco was able to see that the toilet ring was leaking upstairs and was prepared to fix it. Joe was a lifesaver. Our garbage disposal sprung a leak and we needed a plumber fast especially since we were going out of town. . We called on a Sunday night and was told a plumber would be at our house by 8 am the next morning. Joe showed up early and the job only took 10 minutes and I was extremely pleased with the cost. I called Best Choice because our plumbing was backing up into our shower. He sent a service technician, Chris to my home very promptly and they fixed my plumbing within an hours time. Joe G.the owner came after to ensure the job was done right and we haven't had any issues since. He said if something happens in a matter of thirty days they will come out and fix it for free! This company is very reasonably priced and very professional. Joe explained what the issue was and what he thinks will resolve it. They cleaned up after themselves and did the job well and fast! I can't recommend these plumbers highly enough.  Last week, Juan made a service call to replace an old pressure valve regulator.  After pricing out bids from three local companies, Best Choice was literally the best pricing choice ($350 installed).  Installation included unsoldering the old fittings & soldering a new 1 regulator. The value of service & quality are tops as the water pressure in the house is now perfect with no dripping faucets.  

I was so pleased with the work Juan did with the pressure regulator that I called the company again over the weekend to schedule a replacement of a leaky 12 y/o garbage disposal.  Since they were already going to be working on the kitchen sink, I also decided to update the old pull-out faucet to an updated pull-down faucet I purchased at Costco.  

Wow!  What a difference a new garbage disposal & faucet make.  Again, Best Choice was literally the best pricing choice compared to two other bids.  And again, the service & quality are tops!  Juan was punctual, professional, thorough & quick.    Also, the work is backed by a one year written guarantee.  I highly recommend giving Best Choice a call.  Everyone was helpful, including the office staff who scheduled the appointments & provided rough estimates.

Was having some concerns if I had a break in my sewer lateral and have been on edge for the past few months. Who do I call? Who can I TRUST to come into my home. Gave Best Choice a call and they were here the next day. Richard and George showed up on time, was friendly and extremely professional.

We had a problem with our sink for about 2 years, and 2 weeks ago our 2 bathrooms are both not working we have tried asking other plumbers but they said we needed to change something that costs about $20,000. We couldn't afford that at the time so we dealt with the sink for 2 years, but when we called The Best Choice Plumbing (that I saw on Yelp they have a 5 star and a very good reviews )they told us a different result, they told us it would only cost $400 to fix and not to change anything they just used the hydro jet and problem solved. So we did and that fixed everything.It can be really challenging to find people who genuinely help you and me and my husband are so thankful for this company that we don't need to pay $20,000 . Another plumber cancelled on me last minute and I had to have this appointment today due to some deadlines with the escrow. Best Choice was called originally to unclog drains but it turned into a sewer line repair that was significantly more expensive than we had anticipated. Throughout the entire time of this project I was impressed at the level of good customer service Joe Garcia & crew provided.  Joe called me if they were even going to be 5 minutes late, and then called me to very clearly explain the problem and solution options. They returned my calls/texts in a timely manner. We had a dispute and it was resolved very professionally to our mutual satisfaction.

This review is based on employee conduct only. As I have never, and after this Interaction will never use them. These guys came to my complex to do do some work on my neighbors house. Guy was parked on one of my reserved spots. I had the common courtesy of calling the company to give him the heads up. After calling it took them 10min to come out and move it and both guys had an attitude and made a big joke out of it, to the point where it got almost confrontational. Super unprofessional, that might suggest their behavior while working on your home. Next time I won't make the mistake of being courteous and I'll just have them towed.

This company is awesome! Made an appointment for a clogged toilet and Marco came on time. Gave me a quote which to me is very reasonable so I gave him a go. He was thorough in explaining everything to me and he got the job done in no time. 5 stars and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

My kitchen pipes clogged and water flooded my kitchen floor. I needed a plumber so I checked yelp for a good one. The best one they have is Best Choice Drains and Plumbing. I called them and they were very courteous and professional. They sent their plumber Esteban and he fixed the pipes right away. He even gave us tips on how to avoid getting our pipes clooged again. It was a very good service especially for our first time calling a plumber. The experience is all good and we highly recommend this plumbing service company.

*** update*** after having the AO Smith heater for a couple months it failed and began making a LOUD noise every time the heater turned on.  Loud enough that someone complained to HOA.  This is where the issues began.  First vist- came out and verified discrepancy and blamed dirty gas. Second visit- no call no show.  We had to to call and they said they were going to bring a new tank.  3rd attempt-  show up. no tank.  Verified sound again....still there.   4th attempt- no new tank, attempt repair...fail. 5th visit- no call no show...again.   6th visit - new tank finally.  So between my wife and I, we took off 7 times including the original install to get this handled.  Most of communication was originated on our side.  They blamed their vendor, blamed other employees, and never said don't worry you will be taken of.  Pain in the a$$.  I was happy with original guys that came out but the experience went down hill quickly.  I can only hope that this tank is not faulty.  

Called Monday afternoon requesting an AO Smith water heater quote.  I was happy that is MUCH cheaper than a local competitor for the exact same model.  Scheduled for Tuesday (next day) between 9 and 11.  Technicians arrived promptly at 9 AM to begin the install.  Both technicians were friendly and explained the installation process and how to keep my new heater in great condition.

I love working with these guys. Friendly service and knowledgeable guys. I am a general contractor and I use Best Choise on my construction work often.

These guys are awesome! They said around 1 they'd  be here the same day and they were here at 1. They had to do some extra work than they quoted price but stuck to their price and made sure our clogged drain ran completely before leaving! Life savers!
