Best Heating in San Jose CA
Lifesavers! 5 big shiny stars to Danny and Ivan. Our water heater broke unexpectedly and flooded our garage. After getting a next day appointment with another company, we realized that we couldn't wait until the next morning for that company to show up. Thankfully we found Wizard Plumbing via Yelp and they came within the hour. They cleaned up all the water that was overflowing from and replaced our very, very old water heater. Professional, prompt and knowledgeable.

Yesterday we called Talal about some leaking toilets. I expected an appointment later in the week, but Talal rushed over from a long job so he could diagnose the problems. When he finished his other job, he went for parts, came to our house, and within an hour all was well. I was impressed that he worked so hard to fit our little problem into his schedule. I would definitely call him again for any plumbing problem.

Art came and fixed a plumbing issued that two other plumbers could not fix in a rental I have. After wasting hundreds of dollars with other companies, I won't take my business anywhere else. He was prompt, reliable (as his name states) and has very competitive pricing!
Thank you for saving the day Art!

We were pretty unsatisfied with this install. We booked a new HVAC through Costco but were pretty disappointed in the execution. It's been two months since the day they started, and we are still having them come fix things before we can get the inspection. We were without heat for days during a heat wave, because they didn't have parts they needed. (Why didn't they know what they needed before they started?) Then they needed more parts and we had to wait another month. They cut the wiring to our drip irrigation/landscaping and put it back together wrong, which we didn't figure out until half of our garden died from not getting watered. They put the metal pieces on our artificial turf while they were installing which burned parts of the grass which now looks awful. They've taken no responsibility for any of these errors, and claimed they couldn't have been responsible for the burned grass even though it wasn't there the day before the install and then it was. They put the thermostat in a new and very odd place without calling me at work to discuss it first (in between a picture frame and a door jam in a very visible area) and said they'd move it but of course it would damage the wall.. Ugh. Just overall very not slick, not responsive, not responsible for their screw-ups, and not competent.
I'm not sure why Costco uses them. :(

My water heater started leaking and I was afraid the wood platform it was sitting on would give way and I would have a disaster!
When my 10+ year plumber did not make time for me I followed a recommendation from a neighbor on Next door and called them.
Dominique was wonderful! She told me they were busy and gave me an appointment a few days later - I explained my concern for the water damaged wood that the tank was sitting on and she understood the urgency. She sent Jaime, who diagnosed that I needed a water heater NOW!
within hours he came back with Mike and together they installed it.
I can't be more thankful and grateful to all of them for for their outstanding service.
P'S there was a discount coupon on their website for new water heater install, I did not use it, they were well worth what they charged.
I will recommend them to my friends but most of all I hope we give them enough business so they can continue to service the bay area! : )

I used PA Plumbing to install a central air heating system and was disappointed. I would not use them again. Max the owner sold me on the company by saying that unlike other companies, they have staff workers (not contractors hired just for the job) and even though their prices were not the cheapest, they did quality work. So far so good, and Max seemed like a good guy. He was even willing to work with me on the price of the bid. Well, I think they must have sent the B team because I was not impressed with the way they worked or the end result. I had to call them to clean up the mess from installing vents in the ceiling - wood shavings all over the floor in every room. Then, the city inspector pointed out several problems that they had to come back to fix, which he said are very standard requirements and was surprised that any company would miss. They did come back willingly, but I did not get the value-added product that I was promised. Living with the system for two years now, I see that the heat distribution in the house is uneven, and another company told me the return for the system is too high in the vaulted ceiling so the hot air never makes it down to the main part of the room, which means more energy used for lower effectiveness. In short, my guess is that Max knows his stuff but his crew may be more hit or miss. If you use them, you may want to ask who they are sending because one of the workers looked about 20 and looked like he would rather be listening to his iPod than bothering about our heating system.

Excellent communication and prompt, friendly customer service. Average San Jose price. Would call again for any needs! Highly recommend.

After a long hot summer the seasons finally changed and I cleaned out the furnace filter and tested to make sure it worked.
Then it did not even start the blower when I commanded it from my new thermostat.
Not good.
I called Guy Plumbing who had serviced my furnace from the previous owner and Allen Guy who replaced the ancient mechanical timer thermostat with a new easy programmable digital one told me he had enough spare parts to keep my furnace working for a few more years (saving me from replacement).
I called and made an appointment for Allen to come back out and see what was not working.
Of course when he showed up it did kick back ON!
Allen did verify the thermostat was working but had me replace the batteries and had the furnace go through a few start up and shut down cycles.
Now I am ready for winter and I was happy to know I did not have to replace the furnace!
Thanks to Allen Guy of Guy Heating and Plumbing!

Master Plumbing was one of the few local plumbing that didn't have any awful reviews located near me. So I called them for a suspected leak in my shower. When it was being used, I could swear I heard a leak in the wall, which made me quite nervous at the prospect of opening the wall to fix it and possible rot developing in there.
The plumber came, took apart the handle on the shower allowing him to clearly see in the wall without destroying anything, and after a thorough inspecting, confirmed that he couldn't find any evidence of a leak there. The shower was draining slowly, he fixed that and said it might have caused what I heard. He gave me the option of opening the wall where I heard it to check, but advised against it since there were no signs of any water damage and I would have to call in a contractor to repair the hole.
The minimum 1 hr rate of $88 was well worth it to set my mind at ease. I gave them four stars because the plumber was quite dirty when he showed up, I understand its the nature of his job, but I've had repairmen show up spotless and for some reason it makes me more confident in them. From the glowing reviews on here, I expected a cleaner plumber.

Review update:
I believe in honest Yelp reviews and Chelsea's description of what happened is not honest or accurate so I felt the need to respond to ensure the Yelp community has the information they need to make the best decisions.
The Bellows' team never told me the heat wouldn't work overnight during the installation and if this were common sense I wouldn't have scheduled this work in the winter when I didn't need to have an AC system working during this time.
The installers also forgot to tell me the heat wouldn't be working overnight when they left on the first day and when I called out of concern for our baby's safety Bellows' told me they would get the heat working first thing the next morning which they didn't do- the heat did not come on until almost 5 pm on day 2 of the installation. My family spent 2 days with no heat in our house during very cold temperatures. It actually is common practice to make it right with a customer by offering a price concession when your company makes numerous mistakes and communications errors during their work and Chelseas chose not to offer anything to try and make it right for their mistakes.
Finally, the installers didn't clean up their work very well and left numerous debris near the installation site including a nail or screw that my dog stepped on.
Original Review:
We had Bellows replace our AC system. The salesperson Pete was very friendly but failed to tell us that our heat wouldn't work for 2 days during the winter with a baby in the house. The General Manager then refused to apologize for not letting us know about this and said it was common sense. They also didn't do a good job cleaning up the site and left a bunch of trash including some nails on our lawn.
